Was coerced into going to the Magnolia. I’m always in the mood for a coffee, so went with a cold brew. Absolutely no complaints here, was very tasty. But I had the chance to sample the apple cider latte and I have to admit, might be one of the best warm drinks I have ever had the pleasure of sampling. Not my scene, but I do recommend anything from the press. Come out and support your local businesses and avoid chains!
Good coffee and great atmosphere. Staff is very friendly. Great to grab a cup of coffee and walk around Magnolia.
Magnolia Press Coffee is an absolute gem! This lovely coffee shop has a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a cup of joe. Their coffee is top-notch, and the Texas pecan flavor is simply divine. I can't get enough of it! The staff is friendly and the service is excellent. My only regret is that I don't live closer to Magnolia Press Coffee. It's a bit of a drive from my home🥲
First off, love love love this place! Love the vibe, the esthetics of the place, the color scheme, the decor, the energy and the smells! The young lady at the door managing the line was a sweetheart. The line was long B U T, moved fairly quickly. The longest part was waiting for my drink, but it’s to be expected… they’re doing the whole brewing thing as quickly and lovingly as humanly possible - B Y H A N D. I helped myself to one of their super cute aluminum bottled waters, a protein snack box, bottle of syrup, a super cute keychain, a yummy apple cinnamon roll and two hot drinks 😅🤦🏻♀️ I know! I know! 😝 I had a blast though! 🤩 AND I went all by myself! 🥸🤣🤣
First visit to Waco and it’s a Magnolia Day. From Magnolia Table to the Magnolia Press Coffee. Loved the shop and workers were so kind and helpful. The design is so relaxing and just made me want to stay and smell the coffee all day but perhaps another time, we were on vacation and had sights to see. The coffee was so good and we even purchased some to brew back home.
Went up to Waco with my family for the zoo and couldn’t leave without stopping by Magnolia! Everything was so pretty! I got the Frozen latte with Lavender and I got my husband the 1905! He loved his drink and I absolutely loved mine! Hands down the best sparkling water I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot! Can’t wait to go back!
Ordering matcha at coffee shops can be hit or miss, but the matcha here is amazing—one of the best I’ve had! For tea lovers, this spot is a must. My friend got an iced chai, and he loved it too. I’ll definitely be back to try the food and coffee. The service was quick, and the ambiance was great.
The cutest part of the Magnolia experience. So clean and staff is super nice! The first time we got coffee it was just “okay” but we got the 1905 latte the next time and it was super good! Only critique would be that there isn’t enough coffee options! PS the T-shirts in this store are adorable 😍
We try and usually get thru here every year, and love it everytime. This time was special also.. we have been to all the places Magnolia Family has put their mark on, and this one is just as good as all the rest! Down to every detail! And the Staff, Rose and her supervisor that came over and treated us like gold. Thank you for the great service. And the added touch of spending time with the #SWEETTRUCK team.
I don’t even know where to begin to express how amazing this coffee shop is! Not only do they have the best tasting pastries and coffee, but it’s simply worth the wait. If you haven’t had a chance to visit yet, do yourself a favor and give it a try - you won't regret it. Thanks for reading.
Coffee shop with pastries. As soon as I walked up to the door a greeter/usher met me with a warm welcome. I order the 1905 hot with oat milk very delicious. My wife had the iced option with almond milk she enjoyed hers as well. There are at least 3 options for non dairy customers (soy, almond, and, oat milk) There may have been a 4th option but I'm not 100% sure.
Well, we were floored! Yes, it’s a tourist trap! The name, the artificial grass (lol!) But what a wonderful trap to be in. The drip coffee and specialty latte were delicious! The apple pie cinnamon roll was amazing! The icing was light and not overly sweet. The coffee cake muffin was a bit sweet. Plenty of seating, inside and out! Great stop! Sit, drink, browse, enjoy!
The line moves pretty quickly, everyone enjoyed the drinks and pastries. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Clean and aesthetically pleasing, would definitely recommend for anyone passing through the area
We went on a Saturday and they were very busy however the line moved quick, and service was amazing. There were plenty of seats available, and you’re encouraged to take a seat at the community tables which I LOVE! Being able to connect with others in a coffee shop is great. Drinks were amazing! It was a cold day out so we got the snickerdoodle lattes and they were scrumptious !! A must-visit place if in Waco!
Honestly, I have been to Waco so many times but Magnolia is always so packed I never wanted to adventure through the craziness, but on a Wednesday afternoon decided to go with a friend of mine…plus With little to no crowds, I have to say, I LOVED all the Magnolia Press and the grounds offered! Their coffee and espresso was actually very good, a very welcoming environment and love the options in food trucks! Impressed was an under statement!
This was such a nice spot with great decorations, great staff, and great menu. I had a Drip coffee with oat milk and cream and it was delicious. I also had the spinach artichoke pastry, so good! Everything was very affordable as well. I would come here every weekend if I lived here. Definitely recommend for anyone passing by Waco Texas.
Perhaps the most realistic home improvement programming on Earth, this is a true Magnolia family coffee shop. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, was thought out. The designs are wonderful. The environment is beautiful inside and out. Only possible feedback was my outside table was wobbly, but nothing a matchbook wouldn’t fix 😂. I really have no complaints, only praise. This was a great coffee stop. Makes me sad Waco, TX is so far away!
Had breakfast here on our recent visit to Magnolia in Waco. The blueberry lemon roll was amazing. The shop was beautiful and quaint. The staff were very nice and very helpful. The price was comparable to a normal $5 a cup coffee shop. They open early so stop in if you plan to visit the silos.
We just visited during silobration and I had to shout out Amari who gave us amazing, above and beyond customer service. I was desperate to find a place to eat some vegetables after consuming so many comfort carbs and she was extremely helpful. We also got chai for myself and coffee/latte for other friends in our group on a visit the next day and we all enjoyed our beverages.
Visited for the first time, and loved it! The aesthetics are gorgeous (as expected) and there is plenty of space and seating. They managed the line very well and kept it from being too crowded inside. However, since this is such a busy place, don't expect to come here and grab a quick coffee if you only have a few minutes. The outdoor sitting area is lovely and has more than enough seating for all who do not find a seat inside.
Magnolia Press in Waco, TX, is a charming coffee shop that offers a delightful experience. The coffee is top-notch, with a range of options that cater to all tastes. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for both relaxing and working. The staff are exceptionally kind and attentive, ensuring a pleasant visit every time. Whether you're looking for a quiet spot to enjoy your coffee or a friendly place to catch up with friends, Magnolia Press is the perfect choice.
Magnolia Press has a beautiful ambiance, friendly employees. The family stopped by for a quick stroll, along with a coffee and pastry. The location is beautiful with a wide option of coffees, teas and pastries. The Coconut Matcha was good along with the Chai. The pastries did not taste homemade. I would recommend this location for a family excursion.
Loved this place! Such a pretty and modern style coffee place. I had frozen latte with soy, and it was definitely my favorite! Bathroom was super clean and the smell of the soap was nice lol. Outside was good to hang as well. Lots of families were visiting at the time I was there which I loved!
I was thrilled just to be here!! However $35 for 3 drinks and 2 pastries was a bit steep. Everything was good but I wouldn’t say wow! The line was out the door but do not let that discourage you, placing your order moves quick. Receiving your order is where it can get lengthy. We tried the Texas Pecan (slightly nutty flavor), the 1905 (again not an overwhelming marshmallow flavor but that’s a good thing), the hot chocolate for the kiddo plus the almond croissaint and apple pie cinnamon roll both which were very filling!! Was a little disappointed that when we got there at 10-10:30ish in the morning they did not have either savory pastry available. Was looking forward to trying them.
I visited during Silobration, and I was really impressed with how organized the staff was — they made the whole process of entering and ordering super smooth. My husband and I both got hot coffees, and they were both delicious. The coffee shop itself was stunning, and we ended up spending a relaxing hour on the couches just soaking in the beautiful atmosphere.”
It’s been awhile since we’ve been in the area, and to our surprise there was a Magnolia coffee shop! So of course we had to check it out and try out some coffees! We were greeted with extremely friendly baristas and adorable merch. We picked up the 1905 syrup because I had a feeling we were going to enjoy the latte. I chose their seasonal drink which was the Black Forest Mocha (Cherry flavored mocha topped with cherry cold foam), and it was good but I enjoyed my husband’s choice more! He got The 1905 (House latte infused with toasted marshmallow, vanilla, and caramel). It’s subtly sweet, but not too overpowering where you can’t taste the coffee. We’re actually happy that we now have a bottle of their syrup so we can enjoy it at home too! Can’t wait to be back!
The 1905 latte with a pistachio scone is an unbeatable combo. I sat outside with it in the courtyard; a bit windy but not terrible. I loved being able to find a coffee shop that does something other than a soulless grayscale color scheme throughout - the green and gold with dark wood and art deco vibes provides a very nice place to enjoy a drink.
Coffee and cupcakes are fantastic! But the reason I’m writing this 5 star review is for Caleb. My ring got loose, fell off my finger into the trash bin and Caleb jumped into action to help me find it - we went through the entire trash bin together even though I told him he didn’t need to do that. He was so kind and kept me calm in the process! Good news - he found the ring at the very bottom of the trash and cleaned it for me. Thank you, Caleb!
My husband had to travel to Dallas for work and I joined him on his trip specifically to visit the Silos. We stopped in here for a little bite for lunch and were immensely happy with the experience. I had the chicken salad sandwich and salted maple cider and both were absolutely amazing! My only complaint is that I'm so sad I can't get this back home because I would be a regular customer for sure!
Magnolia shopping center is really nice we got a orange cranberry tea which was very good service was great They have a sparkling water and regular water little fountain which is awesome that is free
Stopped into this local Waco coffee shop and was genuinely impressed. The cappuccino was perfectly balanced — smooth, rich, and made with great espresso. You can tell they really care about their craft. We also tried the red velvet cupcake, and it was amazing — super moist with just the right amount of sweetness. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff was friendly from the moment we walked in. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and enjoy the moment. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Waco. We’ll definitely be back! ☕️🧁
Visited during the Silobration Event and the coffee is really good. Tried the Salted Maple Cider. It was extremely good. It was apple cider with a maple whip cream and it was very flavorful. Also tried the 1905 hot coffee and it had a rich coffee flavor and was not too sweet. I really enjoyed it. The warm banana bread with butter was very tasteful. The only thing I would change would be to add walnuts to the bread but overall I would highly recommend anything I tried there.
Magnolia Coffee Press is a beautiful and aesthetically pleasing coffee shop. The space is thoughtfully designed, with a lovely mix of colors and furnishings that make it feel both cozy and stylish. You can really see the care that went into creating the atmosphere. There’s plenty of seating available, making it a great spot to catch up with a friend over coffee and a bite to eat. The staff are friendly and kind, which adds to the welcoming vibe. It can get a little loud at times with the hustle and bustle of customers coming and going — but that’s part of the charm and energy you'd expect from a vibrant local coffee shop. Overall, a great spot to relax, connect, and enjoy a beautifully crafted drink. Definitely worth a visit!
Such a cute little coffee shop! It gives off studious, cozy vibes. I really appreciated that they offer both still and sparkling water for customers (a small touch that goes a long way). Plenty of great seating options both inside and out. I had their cold brew and it was excellent—smooth, strong, and just what I needed. Definitely a spot I’ll be returning to!
Stopped in for a latte on my way to Austin. It was so wonderful I made it a point and stayed the night in Waco on the way back! Magnolia Press coffee was my first stop again this morning!!!! I had the honey bear latte and then today I had a Vanilla latte! Both times amazing. Both times wonderful customer connection and service. Both times the facility was busy and charming and clean! This will be a regular stop for me. As I will be traveling to Austin quite a bit now. I have MPC pinned as a new favorite!
Great pastries, great coffee, splendid ambiance. My wife and I got the ham and cheese croissant sandwich and the almond croissant. They both slapped, especially the ham and cheese one. We also ordered two of their seasonal drinks: the peach matcha drink and the Black Forrest mocha. Those were also fantastic. The cafe was clean and beautifully decorated, as you would expect of Chip and Joanna Gaines I suppose. Lots of outdoor seating options. I would definitely like to come back if I am ever passing through Waco again!
A welcome respite from the shopping flurry. And the drinks are good here, no just a touristy gimmick. Had an amazing strawberry and matcha drink. Huge order area that looked bigger than the dining area, but I think that's on purpose to draw you back outside into the community. Sweet design. Lots of windows. Lovely employees!
Staff is very friendly and kind. They offer you their opinion on what you may want to drink. They are fast and efficient. The line moved very quickly and we got our beverages fast. They were delicious and hit the spot on a brisk breezy day. If you’re in the area I would recommend stopping in for a coffee
We made this one of our rest stops in a family road trip between Austin and Saint Louis. It was our fav stop, so we returned a second time on our way back. It was perfect! Coffee was excellent, service was great, and the ambience was exceptional for the whole family. Aside from the delicious cold brew, we ordered the mini donuts and almond croissant, so delicious, its memorable. The bathrooms, counters and sitting down areas are Very clean. In fact, all over the Silos complex, was spacious, beautiful, fun, and clean. Highly recommended and we will be returning in the near future.
This was our first stop on our morning at the silos and it was the perfect way to start the day. The attention to detail on the design of this coffee shop is perfect. I had the brown sugar latte which was so delicious I didn’t want it to end. I love the branding of the cups and the music was really relaxing and provided a great ambiance whilst we waited. The staff were also friendly and professional.
Not our first time to MP as we are locals to Waco, but we usually only visit on special occasions. The atmosphere is always beautiful. Inside, the Cafe was full so we sat outside. The tables and chairs were clean, and there's nice spacing so you can have private conversations. The seats under a special cover of foliage has definitely weathered the elements. (Birds, moldy seats) I enjoy the coffee here and it's reasonably priced. Chocolate croissant was warmed and also good. Donut holes, although good, were not worth $1 each. I had never ordered them so I didn't know. 8 for $8. Plenty of parking nearby at different free lots. And it's always nice to walk around the silos grounds during spring.
Very well trained baristas, good roasts, solid vibes. Baked goods served are the best I’ve seen for the volume they do out here. Price points are very high but it’s gotta be expensive to run this place and try to make a profit so I get it. For reference, I paid $22 and change for a 12oz bag of ground coffee and a large oat milk latte. Like I said, very expensive, but I’m paying to participate with the brand and their not exactly world renowned for artisan coffee roasting so I am eyes wide open that I’m overpaying and I’m okay with that because the overall experience delivers.
Cute place, one of our favorite stops while exploring Magnolia. The staff was super customer-service oriented. I like my coffee more stronger and my husband likes his more sweet, so he wasn’t big on the Carmel latte. Four stars simply because of the long wait time. With covid and this being a tourist spot, there were definitely some long lines.
I wasn't as impressed with the coffee as I thought I would be, to be honest. We stopped twice: once for the 1905 and once for a caramel latte. The caramel to me was much better but my husband preferred the 1905. The shop is worth the experience and nostalgia though. Super cute place inside and out and the customer service is top notch. 👌
Disclaimer - Not a huge coffee drinker. Stopped by as I was with some co-workers and they are coffee drinkers. Building was nicely laid out and charming. Looked like a cool place to kick back and chill, way better than the normal chain coffee shops. I ordered a version of a Caramel Frappuccino which wasn't bad, but still not my favorite choice. I also ordered some pumpkin donut holes. The donut holes had a nice flavor but were very dry. Service was lacking, or I should say the hospitality and friendliness were lacking. The actual ordering and receiving our items was ok. The workers need to learn how to smile and say thanks.
The decor is typical Jo style and feels great inside. It was clean and the staff and service were helpful, friendly, and on top of everything. The pastry was good and the coffee was fair.
Cute coffee shop. The coffee is good, I wouldn't go out of my way to get here though. Nice chill atmosphere, good place to just sit and relax and sip on your coffee. Line was not long in the afternoon. Lots of seats. Parked on the street nearby with no trouble . Pastries are good. Got the blueberry muffin, it had a good layer of buttery strussel on top but I feel like it was lacking something... Maybe a bit more salt. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a good experience!
This is another part of the Magnolia brand along with the bakery. Even in the early hours, there was a queue outside. It has a lot of seats inside as well as outside. We got spinach artichoke and bacon egg croissant. We also got drip and pistachio latte. The spinach artichoke croissant was mind blowing and the pistachio latte was well done too. The drip coffee wasn’t good though.
Finally got to make it in. First thing everyone who works here was absolutely amazing and friendly! I will say the only thing confusing about this was finding where the line for waiting for coffee orders and ordering began. Plus there was another entrance off the main road that the line started there. We came from the back door and we're instantly met with alot of folks waiting for their orders. After finding the end of the line it was all great from there. I ordered the strawberry matcha and the Mister ordered the 1905 iced! I love that the had alternative milk options! Also decided to try thee lemon blueberry roll. It was fluffy but boy was it sweet. Now that we know the ropes of where to enter to meet end of line we are definitely returning! Also 100% recommend enjoying outside! Gorgeous out there!
Walking in I found a clear line for ordering that took me by a lot of merch. I also quickly noticed how the shop felt nice and open. The employees were cheerful, but not so much as to be annoying at 7:00 am! I greatly appreciated that! Even though there was a big group in front of me, my wait for my drink wasn't very long. I was pleasantly surprised. My iced cranberry tea was nice, tart and refreshing. I found it to be a very unique drink offering! My only issue is that there was an insane amount of ice in the cup so the amount of tea was less than I expected. I spoke to a group waiting for their drinks and was told that they work nearby and come by everyday. They love this coffee house. That's a great recommendation! If I ever return to this area again, I will return to this coffee shop.
If you’re in the craft coffee industry like me, you’ll appreciate the space but not the coffee so much. The people are nice, and clearly Chip & Joanna put lots of thought into making a nice and pretty space! The branding is fantastic. They have two triple grouphead quality lamarzoco machines, but the beans aren’t very good and the baristas aren’t trained to their full potential in my opinion. Still worth checking out though, the whole Magnolia block is pretty dope! If you’re in Waco and looking for more specialty coffee, hit up Dichotomy or Pinewood!
PROs: Ambience is warm and charming. Decor is beautiful. Staff is friendly. Coffee price is equivalent to other cafes. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seatings although it was packed inside because of the cooler weather. It wasn't busy for a Friday morning but wait time was nearly 10 mins for 2 'warm' not hot coffees. CONs: Parking is minimal and can be frustrating. During our visit, at no time, none of the wait staff bussed/cleaned tables. Souffle croissant was overly buttery/greasy. Food trucks weren't open yet we had no choice but to search for food here. Be careful with souffle croissant, it's extremely greasy/buttery, liquid dripped down onto my shirt to be an everlasting memory.
Mediocre coffee . I went in there expecting good coffee but other than the ambiance and super sweet staff, there was nothing there for me . I got an iced 1905 latte. I thought it was so affordable at $5 for a large compared to Starbucks . The drink was supposed to have toasted marshmallow flavor but all I got was cold diluted milk with a hint of coffee flavor . The prevalent flavor was milk. Gross !! Enjoy the ambiance and the very sweet people that work there but it was lacking .
Service was good and the atmosphere was nice. Comfy seating. Coffee and tea is not any better than a Starbucks or anything else. Way over-hyped because it's part of the whole magnolia farms thing. Went here thinking it was a nice coffee shop to work in and then realized it was more of a tourist stop. Would've rather gone somewhere less busy that has better drinks.
My pumpkin spice was neither pumpkin nor spice. I asked for more syrup, and they brought back a drink that tasted less like a PSL than before I asked. Unsure how. Ambiance is great, coffee and food are under flavored
Stopped by because we were passing through and I always like to get a coffee or anything when going places. I got 1 of their seasonal drinks the snickerdoodle latte I think it was called. It just tasted like regular coffee with unmixed cinnamon in it. Like they handed it to me and the cinnamon was all stuck on the cup, and maybe that's just the vibe they go for because I saw other people's drinks look similar to mine when I was waiting. Good to try for the first time but I wouldn't buy another drink from here. Especially when it's $6 for 16oz.
Selling home goods. Yet only serving in paper and plastic cups. Who decided to have this much seating in a lovely venue and serve in disposable cups. 0 consideration for the environment or quality. And a real fail in the ambiance department. Almost a cute spot, but completely missed the mark.
