I love this place! One of my go too’s. I can come here any day of the week and breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner! I have been here more times than I can count and I legit have never had a bad dish. I have had a lot of pancakes in this world and the one I get here is at the very top of the list! Oh yeah the breakfast burger! Finger lickin goood also another fave I could go on and on

This is old reliable for me and my family! I’m not big on most franchise restaurants and this is what we default to if none of us can decide where to go. They have a spicy maple chicken biscuit breakfast that I could never get tired of. My fiancé also used to own a food touring business here in Waco and everyone always loved when Olive Branch was featured. One of my favorite brunch places here!!

We came during happy hour and were pleasantly surprised about the half price starters and $5 glasses of wine. All the apps were delicious (Brussels sprouts were 10/10) and the pork short rib entree with risotto was so tender & flavorful. One of the best meals we’ve had in a while. Very friendly and attentive service also, and we did not have to wait long for our food. Unfortunately we are visiting from North Carolina and will not be able to come back any time soon :(

I can not say enough about this place. My honey and I have been once so far. We will be back however we live so far away. The gentleman that served us was very personable and had some amazing suggestions. The fried Brussel sprouts were absolutely amazing and very plentiful. I had the buttered chicken, I think that's what its called, very delicious. My honey had a riblett style pasta dish. He is still talking about. We however did not explore the adult beverages due to the drive home. Must be responsible.. If ever in the area u must stop in even if its just for a refresher and appetizer size bite. U will not regret it... I promise

friendly service and delicious food today! i had the brisket skillet (pictured) and my husband had the shrimp and grits which he really enjoyed. wait time can tend to be longish but so worth it - it’s likely because people know this is one of the best places in waco to eat! we will be back again!

Leah and her team at Olive Branch are AAMAZING! We used them to cater my daughter's wedding this past weekend and I could not have asked for better service and food! And the food.... oh my, SO GOOD! Everyone loved it and we're just so pleased! Leah is the BEST, from first correspondence email to the thank you the day after - always responsive and so accommodating with everything we needed.

Let me just start by saying this—if The Olive Branch gets five stars from me today, it’s not because they dazzled me with their cinnamon sugar wizardry or blew my mind with an avant-garde avocado toast arrangement. No. This five-star rating rides on the back of one person: Tatiana. More on her in a second. Let’s rewind. I walked in thinking I might go full throttle—house-smoked brisket burrito, big breakfast energy, maybe even add some sweet on the side. But something told me to keep it lighter. And I’m glad I did. Because while the menu leans Texas-sized, my stomach was whispering minimalist gospel this morning. The Order: • Avocado Toast – Smashed avocado layered on wheat toast, topped with sunny-side up eggs, marinated tomatoes, microgreens, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. • Cinnamon Biscuit Bites – Fried biscuit chunks, cinnamon sugar, vanilla glaze. • Coffee – Straightforward, dark, and hot. • Orange Juice – A full glass, and then some. Let’s talk flavor. The avocado toast was clean, thoughtful, and well-balanced. The eggs were cooked just right, the yolks warm and golden. The tomatoes popped with acidity. The glaze added that sweet-tangy lift, and the microgreens? That’s where the dish showed some class. Nothing overcomplicated, just intentional. The kind of plate that lets your senses stretch slowly into the day. Now, the cinnamon biscuit bites? Beautiful to look at. Honestly, they should hang this skillet on the wall as art. But one bite in, and I knew I was in trouble. It was like being hugged by a sugar-coated sumo wrestler. Way too much. Way too sweet. I expected a nibble situation—something like four to six bites. Instead, they brought out a cast iron cauldron of dessert. I ordered it, so that’s on me. But no human should face that much glaze without a support group. The coffee hit the mark. Nothing fancy, no third-wave pretension—just a solid cup of comfort. I needed that balance after fighting the sugar avalanche. As for the juice—let’s just say I ordered a drink and got a whole orchard. Fresh, cold, good… and way more than I wanted. Waco does not play about portions. Atmosphere? Rustic-meets-industrial. Spacious. Clean lines. Brick and wood. Soft lighting. TVs in the back if you need some casual noise. Plenty of elbow room, which is rare and welcome. But none of that—none of it—would have stuck in my memory without Tatiana. She didn’t just show up with a smile. She arrived. Introduced herself. Warm, polite, completely unforced. The kind of presence that makes you feel human again in a world full of transactional interactions. I’ve had $200 meals in big cities that didn’t come with service that kind. She didn’t hover, didn’t rush, just existed in that perfect sweet spot of attentiveness and space. That’s why I’m giving five stars. If Tatiana hadn’t been there? Four. Easy. The cinnamon bites alone would’ve knocked a star off. That’s not a breakfast item—that’s a wedding cake’s evil cousin. But Tatiana raised the curve. She was the curve. So here it is: The Olive Branch isn’t perfect. The portions are big enough to scare a lumberjack. The sweet options could use a tone-down. And Waco, as a whole, seems to believe every breakfast should feed a family of four. But if you’re lucky enough to get Tatiana as your server, that meal’s going to hit different. It’s going to feel like it matters. And that’s worth five stars.

Never been here before but heard good things. First of all I was greeted at the door with a smile which is rare these days. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Quick service too. My server Tori was awesome in recommending food and very knowledgeable about the dishes. One of the owners asked of if I was being cared for, she was also sweet. Food was definitely delicious and it was plentiful. I ordered the steak and eggs with potatoes. The chimichurri sauce was a perfect addition. Steak chunks were tender!

Only had breakfast so can’t comment on anything else, but breakfast is the 💣, best in Waco. The deets… 1. Coffee is legit. Spoon-disappears-in-it kind of coffee. 2. Fried chicken biscuit was amazing. Chicken seasoning was so good. 3. Pancakes were top notch with fresh fruit and homemade whipped cream topping. 4. Sausage was clearly hand made, but had a kick of spice 🌶️to it so be aware. 5. Service was friendly without being too friendly. 6. On a good weather day, ask to sit in their upstairs patio. All in all, everything we had was delicious, scratch made, served well, and heartily portioned. Venue has plenty of space for larger groups.

Nice choice for an elevated dish! I recommend the pesto melt or the chicken piccata. The regular fries and the sweet potato fries are both 10/10. Don't forget to check the bakery case for a nice dessert!

Great service and amazingly tasty eats. The best avocado toast I’ve ever had and the syrup for the pancakes was unique and flavorful. Will definitely come back again!

Stopped in for brunch and it was fantastic. I had the Farmers Hash and it hit the spot. I noticed so many other dishes being served around me that I would love to come back and try, too. Service was great and coffee was excellent! There’s a reason there was a short wait for a table! Highly recommend.

Food was amazing 🤩 loved the steak and eggs and the chocolate croissant was to die for. The third picture is a side of smoked pork belly and it was also delicious. Alberto was a great server he also told me about some nice places in the city to visit since I came all the way from Florida. I will definitely be back!!!!

We ate there 2 nights in a row while we were in Waco for the weekend. The food is incredible, and the staff are awesome. The maple bacon glazed brussel sprouts are an excellent appetizer. I had the creamy pesto pasta, which was amazing. My wife had the browned butter chicken, which was juicy and incredibly tasty. The second night, we had a pesto burger and the smothered steak, which were equally delicious. There is a cool sign at the front that talks about the owners' struggles and successes in the first few years. Well worth the read. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Made an online order, order pickup time was 1:20. After not hearing anything I went and asked about my order 1:35 and they said it would be a few more minutes. Didn’t get food till 1:50 and ended up being late to our volleyball tournament. All of the employees were super nice and polite. Only problem I had was the food being 30 mins late

Customer service was great but the food was just okay. We really enjoyed the biscuits and variety of fruit spreads they provided, however the main dishes that we chose were not impressive.

Let me preface with saying that I’ve been in the industry for over 12+ years and hardly ever write reviews. Jacob, our server from the get go was warm and inviting. His smile was gracious and his service was excellent, they had a true nature to hospitality and it came easy to them. The reason this review gets 3 stars is because I could tell that the kitchen had a lot of orders to push out and could easily tell they were busy for a Sunday brunch service. All of which are normal for someone who’s worked their fair share of brunches, however this doesn’t really apply to striving for an excellent service, it’s Sunday during football season, you better bring your A game just like everyone else does, the kitchen did not. Our fruit bowl was a sad excuse to get rid of fruit before going bad before looking to change up the fruit since watermelon is coming out of season and the pieces we got were already mushy and unappetizing. The dollop of whip cream on every plate is an uncomfortable touch since the design of the menu seems to be comfortable enough that a fresh fruit salad would gladly brighten up the menu. Brisket burrito (8 out of 10) Order it. Our lovely host in the Airbnb recommended it to us and we enjoyed every bit especially drenching it in the salsa (which kinda tasted like herdez) but I’m cool with it since nothing else is probably made in house. The brisket a tad dry but again there isn’t a 250 gallon smoker out back or anything. The Brioche French toast, again the French toast tasted great once I scraped off all the whip cream and picked around the way too far gone strawberries to only find inedible wasted 2 pieces of brioche undercooked by the rush of the kitchen and eggs to follow (ordered over medium) came out with cooked egg white on the outer rim but raw all throughout the inside. Made Jacob aware of the situation and he gladly rang in a side of scrambled eggs to replace rapidly and made the manager aware. Unfortunately the eggs came out after we had already paid the bill and were getting up to leave. The kicker to finish off this long venting session is to creative some creative feedback for the owner. Your manager came to the table, (not delivering the new eggs) but only to ask if we wanted more water as we’re getting up from the table to leave, not to check if the service was up to par (Jacob would’ve been a better manager), or to apologize for the undercooked meal or to offer any solutions for the service provided by his team. Homie was definitely feeing safe behind the service station and was ready to help move tables for larger tables. Not that I was expecting to have anything taken off our bill for plates we barely touched or ate at all but the gesture would’ve taken the true nature of hospitality and created that foundation for The Olive branch (symbol of peace and unity) or something like that. But unfortunately this may be one of the kitchen nightmares situations we live to see Ramsey gobble up. Anywho, 3/5 stars. Potential is here to be something great, the servers and support staff should all get a recognition for keeping the place clean and friendly, but Bradley Uppercrust III needs some polishing.

We went for the first time on Mother's Day. Plenty of parking, and it looked great. Lots of seating as you wait for your table. We were told 45 minutes for the wait, which was fine for that day. We were seated within 30 minutes. I will say they have a poor choice in chairs, very uncomfortable. Our waiter did a poor job, we were pretty sure he was new, so we weren't too upset. The food, however, was delicious. My husband had the brisket bowl (I can't remember the name) and I had the shrimp and grits. I was getting lots of gumbo vibes from the grits but the sausage was sweeter than I was expecting. We definitely plan on coming back!

This was a nice stop for breakfast on our weekend trip. The food was great! The service was okay. We had the Biscuits and Gravy Skillet, Avocado Toast, and the Cinnamon bits.

The hostess was nice, 20 minute wait. The waitress was nice an the restaurant was busy. Looking at other people's meals the food plates look like art work an delicious. The menus they had 2 an it was simple to read. On 1 menu had drinks an the other 1 had the fo9d an drinks also. We placed our order an didn't take long for our food to arrive. I got the Brisket Skillet, everything was in a Skillet when it arrived. The food in the middle was hotter under the egg when cooked then out side of the egg was barely luke warm.
