Love this Wendy's! Been using the drive-thru for years. They always get the order correct. The food is hot and fresh.

Wendy's food quality imo us superior to other fast food joints in general. I like this particular outlet because it is usually not very busy so you get your food quickly without having to wait in a long line

Honestly if you're hungry for chicken nuggets, want a large drink, and have 15$ on you? the party pack of nuggets(50 nuggets) and a large fountain soda is great. I for one have a large appetite and so does my SO so between us both sitting in the parking lot with our bounty of nuggets makes for a perfect and reasonably priced date. And trust me its a steal of a price point that cant be compared to other fast food joints if you have a nugget hankering.

Now I usually don’t ever put in reviews for any restaurant/experience I attend, but I just want to give a positive review for this Wendy’s. I have gone there so many times, and so many times when I should probably shouldn’t be going so close to closing time, but without fail I am always treated so well. The two main guys who are on the speaker phone at night are always so nice, and so welcoming. They also always provide me with freshly made food and great service all around. I very much appreciate the friendly hospitality every time I stop by!

I don't understand why this Wendy's is rated only 3.4 Stars. This is my local Wendy's and it's always been great! The employees are nice, service is fast and good, and the food is amazing! Julia especially is an amazing employee! This Wendy's was remodeled a few months ago and it looks great! Highly recommend this Wendy's, and I'll always come back!

Usually very good service, the crew may be a little slow sometimes but usually very willing to help. It is typically clean, but I know there have been a few times when it could have been cleaned better.

Great salads always, really like the value menu when you want a little something and frosts are tasty as well. Today the service was slow, other times not this slow.

Usually, Wendy's is a no-brainer for some decent fast food burgers. That was exactly the case when I stopped there when I had that craving we've all experienced at some point. No, the burger wasn't t the issue. The problem was the fries, more like frieds. They were overcooked and dry, with little in the taste department. I was definitely disappointed, but....I ate half and gave the rest to my dog, and all was well.

Got new Wendy's Tendy's with Wendy's new sauce. Similar to Cane's, a little less peppery.

Service was fine. Our order was slightly inaccurate, but it wouldn't keep us from coming back.

The restuatant is decent not up to date like the others on the island. There is no soda dispenser so thats a bummer cant select your own drink just whatever they have behind the counter. The food was pretty fresh though that was a plus on them but i did have a missing nugget in my 4 pieces was more like 3 and a half. Seating is roomy so if you deciede to dine in your have plenty of room to sit and they have high chairs for toddlers which is good for families with kids. Other than the missing nugget and no drink dispenser this place is good to eat at.

Usually never a wait, but if there’s a line, be prepared to wait. A lot. They also forget items in orders from time to time. The location on Hempstead Turnpike overall is better

Food is always good no matter location, however always gets order wrong, always remaking orders. But for the most part all is ok here.

You wonder why people working in fast-food restaurants only make minimum wage? I ordered the 4 for 4 meal and the only received 3 items. They forgot the chicken nuggets. This isn't a knock-on just Wendy's. It happens all the time at fast food restaurants.

Went to the drive up and tried to order the buy 1 get 1 special but the girl refused. She kept insisting I had to buy 2 sandwiches to get something free. I told her there was a big poster on the window but she refused to listen and I gave up. I don't know if it's poor training or Communication But it's just an added unnecessary frustration.

Wendy's is one of the only fast food places that do not accommodate vegetarians, and it's expensive compared to other fast food places.

Salad menu changed not for better. The kids behind the counter don't pay attention and aren't helpful. Don't have it delivered either because the order will definitely be correct.

just had the worst service ive ever had any any restaurant. was cut off while placing my order. had to repeat the order, and when i got it, it was completely wrong. idk how someone can be so dumb to do that but here we are

Food was good. But the self serving computer system a mess. Half the people didn't know how to use them and NOBODY came to help. Many employees just sitting around and manager telling us he will be with us shortly. 20 minutes later success for me but by then most customers were frustrated and disappointed. Leaving I noticed the line grew and some people left.

This particular Wendy's service is terrible. The employees appear to be too stoned to function. We placed a very simple order for a crispy chicken sandwich with ketchup only. The cashier rung the order up correctly but instead of getting a crispy chicken sandwich with ketchup only, we were served a crispy chicken sandwich with no ketchup, lettuce and mayo. The next person who ordered had to come back into the store after they left a burger and fries out. The only good part is the taste, which is consistent at all Wendy's. I do not recommend this particular location in Wantagh.

All the tables were dirty. Fries were not hot. I've had better Wendy's before.

Ordered 2 drinks a burger and a frosty, the frosty was the only item they got right, both of the drinks are different from what i ordered which isn’t a big deal. But how in the name of all things right does it take 30 minutes to get my order wrong.

Not a clean place to eat. If the owner can check the video footage of what the staff does they would all be fired. Will avoid this location going forward.

I used to love Wendy's for there Burgers. It was my go to place. They changed there Patty's and it is now inedible.... Sad

Manager is very rude and will call the cops to tell you to get out instead of her asking they always get orders wrong and you can only sit in the restaurant for 30 minuets even though it’s nearly empty

I had a worst experience. It was late at night coming from work. I went to the drive thru. The person who spoke was rude and I felt like I was rushed. By the time I came home, food came out completely wrong, had no straw, no sauce, and no utensils.

Very poorly ran establishment! Food is either overcooked or oversalted. The dining area is filthy. The bathroom is just as bad.When I complained to the manager about an overcooked,dried chicken sandwich,she went nuts pulling it apart with disbelief.What an experience!

If you want to feel humiliated entirely by staff, just go to this location! They will laugh at you while they give you half your order! That’s what happens when you have teenagers working for you without supervision!

Yes the food was great But the managment and the employees can be nice and understanding they are not be very carefull if you have a young face and you are white besides me they will treat you very badley they hate my guts because I always go there it changed the wendys it run by theese Black and Spanish people very nasty and rude I have no problem with who anybody is but I get yelled at laughed at just because I have been there for years and I go to other wendys in the area so what but they care about that the managers have seen me all over the place and they brag about me to there co workers its just sad well they want a complaint filed against them they are now going to get one

Ended up with a burger that was still raw in the middle, and tried to call restaurant 4 times. Phone rang for nearly two minutes before someone picked it up and immediately hung up on me (I could hear people in the background) before I could say anything. Will NEVER go to this location again and I advise the same to others.

I don't usually write these, but this store takes the cake! I went there on way home from beach…ordered a chicken sandwich with nothing on it, and when I got home…extra mayo!! Also, bought a chili, there was all black stuff in there, like they scraped the bottom of the pan. This was after I asked for a straw, and was told it was "in the bag" which it wasn't!! After being aggravated and calling the store…no answer!!!

I just got home and took a bite of a jr bacon cheeseburger. The bun was so chewy stale I couldn't bite through it.

Charged me for a baconator gave me a single cheeseburger and charged me for the baconator. On top of that I called the restaurant they said they would give me the burger I order I went there and said they don't know who I am, I will never go to this Wendy's again.

I ask 3x no mayonise on chicken and ask when pay ask for extra cracker s with chill ask twice girl. Said meanwhile not even sorry when called complain won’t go back there

I ordered a taco salad my friend ordered a salad he got his but i didn't get mine.

The drive thru people get my order wrong every time. Complete idiots work there. They get rid of one brain dead worker only to replace them with even bigger morons.

I don’t write negative reviews but I was so disgusted and enraged with the service here that I just had to. Specifically the night crew. If this is the best you can do as far as employees, you guys need to shut down until you can hire actual people because these are animals you have working this night shift. Such a nice neighborhood what a shame I've never in all my years in this town have experience such bad service with any business. Corporate needs to take over this Wendy’s! ASAP! I’ve been to Wendy’s all over the country and this one by far in terms of service and quality of food has been the absolute worst and it seems like management doesn’t care because it has been an ongoing problem. At this point I have zero hopes for any positive change in this place, I would rather inconvenience myself and go to another town to enjoy the Wendy’s that I Love so much. These animals take the enjoyment out of such a good brand. And this is me keeping it short.

Every time i visit here there is some issue. My last visit and my last everything i asked for they said they were out of so i ordered 2 chicken nugget meals. After paying i received only half my order so i ask for the second meal and the manager get annoyed with me and says " if i want it im going to have to pull into a space and wait" Seriously i already paid for this and you messed up and your giving me attitude. I pulled into the space and waited 10 min when i went up the the window and asked whats happening he asks who i was and what i needed. I got in my car and left. i dont get this place at all

The night service is miserable here. August 11, 2021 arrived at drive thru 11:15pm. The guy said I can't take your order, no more orders. While this Wendy's closes at 1am. They do this quite often, try to shut down way earlier than the scheduled closing time, and stop taking orders. The manager or district manager needs to look into this or they are losing out on orders in the last 2 hours.

Had the big beef chedder/fries...was awful. Burger was as dry as dust and very crunchy on the edges. Had to add ketchup which always overwhelms any other flavor and, understandably, did nothing to change the texture of the burger. Rating should have been zero stars.

I order a chili baked potato and Catherin gave me a bacon cheese potato, I told her it's the wrong order and am allergic to pork, she exchange it and give me a different one, but to my surprise she only take the bacon off the top and add chili, am upset 😡 and disappointed I could have hurt my self badly because she and who so ever who is back there want to be lazy, I didn't trust it at first so she ask me if everything is ok and I said yes, I should go with my gut feeling. I need my money 💰 back tomorrow,because the new one was full of bacon in the bottom,horrible service.

Worst Wendy’s ever. Customer service is terrible. Make you pull up even when no one is behind you than wait 10 minutes for a simple order. I go out of my way to avoid this place. They can’t even make a cup of coffee without burning it at 8am. 0/10 would not recommend.

They just can't get it RIGHT. I ordered 2 grilled asiago chicken club sandwiches and one chili cheese fries. what did I get? 1 grilled chicken asiago club and 1 fried chicken asiago club and a chili cheese fry. WHY? I do not like the Non-Human Ordering System. If I want to work with a computer, I will do it at work or at home. Also, the Drive Thru is much more crowded as people are using it more than the Non-Human Interface on the inside. Also, the Chicken Sandwich that I ordered was better when HUMANS WORKED THE COUNTER.

Normally this location is pretty consistently good, but tonight there was hair in two of my sandwiches. I wanna give them the benefit of the doubt that it wasn't done on purpose, but it certainly left a bad taste in my mouth.

The store manager locked the door as my wife approached saying drive through only due to only two employees working. On a Saturday at 6 PM while others were dining and placing orders at the counter.

MOST UNORGANIZED WENDYS EVER! I went in to make a simple burger order and there was already 2 people having issues with the management there with their order. One guy's order was a mobile order and his card got charged TWICE and didnt recieve his food. A woman wanted a PLAIN burger and went up to get a new one, and as she did, she sure was back in line behind me to complain again. My mom and I were then going to use the new tablet menu screens but was then told that they dont work, when it actually did when I tapped it 🤷‍♀️ I never been to a Wendy's that was so unorganized that I will never be coming back to this location!

Once again they messed up my order. Order kids or snack size chicken nuggets and half size Parmesan Caesar salad. Even though I was specifically asked the flavor I wanted, no dipping sauce in bag as well as no salad dressing or the Parmesan crisps that are supposed to come with salad. Also no fork for my now naked bowl of lettuce, and not even a napkin! They didnt even provide a recepit. Im just lucky i didnt use cash. At least i have a record of the transaction date. This happens waaay too often for it to be a coincidence. They just dont care. I sent complaint on their website, but no response to date other than acknowledging it was received.

Had to wait so long. They overcharged me for an extra sandwich AND got the order wrong. I asked for the new italian chicken sandwich (just the sandwich) and the baconator meal. They asked me to move up and wait for my food. I waited a good while for 2 sandwiches which is insane to me. When i got them i rushed home but I shouldnt have because I got THREE of the new italian sandwiches. This is not what I asked for. And i wont go here again.

Food is always sub par compared to other Wendys locations. Wait times excessive. Orders gotten wrong. I usually try to avoid going to this one but went today and got the number 9, chicken was very overcooked. Manager seems very strange and stressed all the time. Employees always seem confused.

On February 2nd at 12:20pm I was getting food for my 3 residents with mental disabilities, I was at the drive through and asked for 3 orders and 3 different receipts, the male worker seemed troubled and kind of bothered with the order, he asked about it to her female coworker and she came to told in an unkind manner that it was not possible. My issue with this is that I had already gone alone and asked for 3 orders with 3 different receipts and they had no problem, now I'm with my residents in the van and there's a problem.

I am rethinking my life choices after this meal. I ordered a chicken sandwich and when I bit into the chicken it was so hard and chewy that it was impossible to swallow. The sandwich was incredibly dry and must have no longer been fresh. I asked to replace the chicken sandwich for chicken nuggets which was fine, but the fries formula has changed and it’s so tasteless. I wish Wendy’s cared more about food quality instead of profits.

Was completely ignored inside at counter waiting to order. Tried to get their attention twice but no one responded. They were only concerned with the drive thru. 5-6people rushing around. You would think the drive thru was busy..NO IT WASN'T, not for the way they were running around. Went to smashburger down the block. Hamburgers were pretty good. Worth going back! Wendy's just lost a long time customer. Like they will even care!!

I recently had an incredibly disappointing encounter at Wendy's, which left me utterly frustrated with their abysmal customer service. From the moment I entered the restaurant, it was evident that the staff lacked any sense of professionalism or basic courtesy. To begin with, the employees seemed disinterested and unwilling to assist customers. When I approached the counter to place my order, the cashier barely acknowledged my presence, instead choosing to chat with a colleague. It took an exasperatingly long time for them to even acknowledge my request. Furthermore, the staff displayed a complete disregard for accuracy and attention to detail. Despite clearly stating my order multiple times, they managed to mess it up entirely. Not only did they get the items wrong, but they also forgot some essential components. When I kindly asked for a correction, the employee responded with indifference and seemed bothered by my request. As if that wasn't enough, the overall atmosphere was chaotic and unclean. The dining area was littered with food scraps, and tables were left unattended for an extended period. I witnessed several customers voicing their concerns, yet the staff did nothing to address the situation promptly. Moreover, when I attempted to bring these issues to the attention of a manager, I was met with complete apathy. The manager seemed disinterested in my complaints, merely offering a half-hearted apology without any sincere effort to rectify the situation or ensure my satisfaction. It is truly disheartening to experience such disregard for customers in a fast-food establishment. Wendy's, once known for its quality service, has clearly lost its way. The lack of professionalism, attention to detail, and a complete absence of genuine concern for customer satisfaction make it impossible for me to recommend this establishment to anyone. I genuinely hope that Wendy's takes immediate action to address the severe customer service issues plaguing their establishment. Until significant improvements are made, I strongly advise potential customers to steer clear of this disappointing experience.

Getting food here is like playing fast food roulette. Sometimes you win and the order is fine, but most of the time you end up disappointed and questioning why you even bothered. Items constantly missing or incorrect, food is rarely fresh or hot. I wish there was something good to say.

Went while there was noone there, placed a relatively small order and was told to pull up to wait for the food. Recieved my food and went home to realize that there was an order of fries missing. Additionally there must have been a shortage of the syrup in the beverage fountain because what should have been a doctor pepper was closer to water than anything. I was the only customer in the drive-through so I believe such stupid mistakes are unjustifiable.

Consistently get drive-thru orders incorrect. I only go if I want a chili. Can't screw that up too badly, I think.. UPDATE 2/10/2021 STILL AWFUL! They consistently leave items out of orders. I ordered a salad via doordash and it came with NO SALAD DRESSING. Annoying as hell. I only order from here because my kids like the food but forget it. Not going to anymore. I've given this Wendy's enough tries. If Management can't manage to train their staff properly, they should be fired.

Horrible. I ordered from them again to give them another chance and my baconater fries were cold fries with very little cold shredded cheese (cold also) and cold bacon. The chili was barely room temperature. Very disappointed. Again. It’s like they just threw whatever was left over in the store in a bag. No effort at all. Don’t waste your money at this Wendy’s, at least.

This place used to be awesome, a go to but after work yesterday I went to go grab a 4 for 4, they were out of soda but that's fine with me, what got was the green tea and it had some weird floaters in it (not tea leaves, more like someone had spit in it) and I got spicy nuggets instead of regular ones without warning. I really really don't like spicy food. No bacon on my junior bacon cheeseburger. Complete disappointment. Won't be back.
