Juiciest bacon cheeseburger I have had this year!
By far the best food and service in South Arkansas!!! After years and years of annual trips to see family, we always stop in for delicious crispy fried catfish, always fried hot and fresh. We love this place!
Amazing food & amazing staff. Had the fish dinner and chopped bbq sandwich and 11/10 recommend.
Excellent catfish, it's the only thing I ever order from here.
Fish filets were superb as was the baked beans. Husband got a hamburger that was huge and had great flavor. We will return.
- GOOD VALUE - HIGH QUALITY - GREAT SERVICE I've been twice now. Once with my 11 year old son (sit-down) and once alone (drive-through). TRIP 1 - We both had the Golden Burger. It was Fresh, Delicious and Huge! By fresh I mean there were plenty of fresh veggies like pickles, lettuce, tomatoes and even grilled onions! You can get it exactly how you want it and they make it fresh to order. Our waitress was prompt, helpful and friendly. TRIP 2 - The second time I used the drive-through, fried chicken sandwich with all the fixings. They said come back in 15 min; I did. It was made correctly, piping hot and once again, large, filling and delicious. It's still cheaper/better than the McFastFood at $5-$6 for a big, beautiful sandwich . I added cheese and bacon to my crispy chicken sandwich and it was a little over $7, but she was good with $7! WHO DOES THAT? A beautiful soul who cares about making you a meal, that's who! Someone who deserves my business. The GOLDEN GRILS have earned their name in my book! TIP - CALL IN YOUR ORDER.
The catfish fillets are the best. They were hot and so tasty. The coleslaw and hush puppies were good and the lemonade was sweet and really tasty. The staff were very friendly and courteous. I will definitely go again
It's been a couple years since I've eaten at Golden Girls.. They still pass the test!! Taste test!! Good food.. Nice atmosphere!!
The food is so good here! There's a good variety of items to fit your taste and the staff is always helpful and attentive. I go here at least once a week and I've never been disappointed once.

I travel Arkansas a lot for work and have had many burgers all over the state. I wasn't expecting what I got for $6 the Golden burger can't be beat. It was a double with double cheese, grilled onions, crispy bacon and tomato. It was hot, the cheese melted and just good. I would say the second best burger I have had in the state and at way less than half the cost of the first. This will be my new stop in the area. The place isn't fancy but there was a steady stream of people in while I ate and most were known by name. The wait staff was friendly and made me feel welcome. It was also clean!
Just ate there great food. Made fresh to order awesome price for quantity..Will drive a hour and half to eat there again.
Very good food but I ordered my food they said 20 minutes gave them 20 minutes got up there line was so long waited 45 minutes until got my food
Sat in line for over 20 minutes, food was great as always just cold. Next time I will skip drive thru and go inside for my pickup. My granddaughter loves their fish, as I do. And just s few other folks along with us.
Ate there today ask for my chicken wings well done which they weren't it's like they rushed to Cook them had to put them in air fryer to finish them and there fried peace pie to much crust not enough filling didn't seem fresh
I try to give this place the benefit of a doubt, but each time I go there the fish you get for what you pay is terrible! They charge nearly $9 for two pieces of fish the size of a small child's hand. I'm giving up. I gave it two stars because the servers are nice and helpful and it's not their fault.
No good! Their web page states hey are open till 7pm. We rushed to get there for 6:30, to be told they were closed.:-(
Was going to try out the restaurant. Never been here. Pulled in parking lot on Friday night at 7:35 and a lady comes out and says they are done serving. Drove from Monticello. Maybe need to change the sign to no longer serve after certain hour. I waitressed many years and if we were open until a certain hour we served food until that hour.
