We had never tried Locals before and ordered off of DoorDash tonight. DoorDash/eating out, is always hit or miss and I honestly didn't have high expectations. We placed our order five minutes or less before they stopped accepting orders. With that given, it really lessened my expectations. Basic order, two orders of chicken strips and fries. I have to say, we were pleasantly surprised. The food was delivered ahead of the estimated delivery time and was still hot once it arrived. For being a fairly basic meal, it was absolutely delicious. We really enjoyed our food! Locals definitely made our ordering out worth it.

We have been here a few times now the food and drinks are good and consistent. We've never had a wait for a table. Food always comes out fresh and hot. There is also a decent drink menu with a good selection of local breweries. Will keep coming back for sure.

First place we stopped to eat after arriving in Alaska for the next 10 days. Busy Sunday evening and it took a minute to be seated, but was worth the wait. Good portions were such that all three of us eating did not 100% clear our plates. Burgers were the choice tonight with mine being the brisket burger. Food was great and our server was very friendly, a bit over worked as she handled many tables on her own but she was a trooper.

Food was fresh and delicious!! Enjoyed some 'out of the ordinary' options: fried pickles and fries tossed in any one of about 11 sauces (I selected mild buffalo ~ yummmmm) Abundant draft local brews 😎and fabulous service! Definitely a place to enjoy a meal in Wasilla!

The pizza is good. The place has more of an old-school vibe, and the service is decent for a pizza spot.

First time here. It was really nice. Comfortable atmosphere, food was really good, and service was great. I got a 9 inch Yukon pizza, and hubby got pepperoni, sausage and mushroom. Alcohol menu was really great, we unfortunately had to work, so couldn't drink, but it would be a great place for s cold one and some great pizza!

Dec 2025 update- they sat a fmaily next to the bar. Not loving the F word being thrown around almost every 30 seconds. Ask to sit somewhere else. Hostesses should know to not sit families there. Ordered at 9pm saturday night for take out. Our $30 16" denali destroyer pizza was raw dough in the middle (couldn't be eaten without putting it back in the oven for 25 minutes). Our $17 southwest chicken egg rolls were also not cooked thuroughly and not at all crispy. Unfortunately we didn't find out until we were home in Meadow Lakes. Thats a ton of money wasted on uncooked food.

Locals used to be great. I wish I knew what happened. Ordered pizza and cheese sticks. The cheese sticks were hard and not fresh. Tasted like they were day old. The pizza was just ok. Toppings were great, but like the cheese sticks, the crust was hard, rubbery and felt like it was not fresh/day old.

It makes a lot more sense now why the reviews are so low. 6/29 at 1pm - an absolute nightmare. It was self seating however we needed a booth and all booths were dirty. Waiting for 10 minutes not a single server (who we RARELY saw on the floor) greeted us, nor made an attempt to make eye contact with us. I had to walk into the “employee” only area to get someone attention and ask them to clean a table for us but in that time frame another group took the tables and cleaned it themselves. We just left. Won’t be back. What a shame. I’ve been “dying” to trying this place to be completely disappointed the moment I walked in.

Went for lunch, only 3 other tables were filled besides ours. Our waitress forgot our drink order in essentially an empty restaurant (a coke and dr pepper), and was nowhere to be seen the whole meal. Gave attitude when we had to ask the bartender for her to get our drinks. Waited over half an hour for a burger and pasta, which in itself is pretty ridiculous. My pasta was bland with no flavor, even the chicken was tasteless. My girlfriend's burger was dried out and she was unable to finish it. Waited over 10 minutes yet again for wait staff to come onto the floor just to ask for the check. We were about to walk out and wish we did before the food finally arrived. Was not worth 50 dollars at all, and first time in my dining life I left a 0 dollar tip. My first experience at Local's and will be my last. Highly disappointed and underwhelmed by a restaurant with a good reputation.
