It's definitely a hidden gem in watertown if you're looking for authentic Italian food. Highly recommend shrimp cocktail and the seafood platter. Pasta is great, especially with the pesto sauce. Portions are large, and food is quality perfect for datenight, though it is a bit pricey. Weekends are usually busy, and parking may be limited. You may choose to dine in or sit at the bar. The waits for both are relatively short.

This was my first time sitting in the restaurant we were seated quite fast. Everyone was so polite. Everything was clean and tidy. We had the bacon wrap scollops, garlic bread and cheese and the boneless wings for appetizers everything was as spot on and so good. We also had the roni pizza with sausage, pepperoni, green peppers, sliced mushrooms and bacon. The dough was light and fluffy and it was so delicious. Our waitress was polite and never forgot about us. Pizza brought back great memories. Thank you all for a special experience. We will be back!!

I'm updating my previous review from 5 years ago: Forget about the amazing "Garlic White Pizza" from my days of youth, growing up just a few houses away from this iconic Watertown staple of a restaurant. I'm back in town visiting again, and all I gotta say is WOW! My kid had the pizza and garlic knots, while my other had the manicotti. I had the nights special, flounder stuffed with crab, and my wife had the chicken parm. Each was EXCELLENT!!! The Service was first class, too, BUT what I want to point out is this. Where I sat, I had a direct view of the kitchen. Every time the doors swung open, I could see almost everything inside. It was CLEAN! And I do mean CLEAN. Not a crumb on the prep table, not a spot on the floor, and every utensil neatly organized. It looked more like a surgical suite than a fully operational kitchen in a very busy restaurant! I think a little recognition should be given to whomever is running the show in the back of the house! Thanks for another great dining experience, Atrs Jug. See you again on my next visit to the area (Summer and Fall).

We went out for a Birthday dinner. We had a bunch of different meals with a party of 10. Homemade Manicotti - delicious, garlic knots - buttery and the right amount of garlic, Fly Away Sandwich - tender meat; Jack Daniels sauce full of flavor, Chicken Eggplant Parmesan - chicken and sauce were good: eggplant was mushy. We have had pizza here many times and it has always been good.

Pizza. Pick up. Prompt, pillowy and pleasing. I got a garlic w bacon and a regular w pepperoni. Ready in 20 minutes. They have a covered pick up spot at the back, nice touch. The red sauce pizza is fluffy and the sauce is absolutely glorious. The cheese is browned, with a light crisp at the edge. The bottom is not crisp nor soggy. Top tier fluffy. The garlic is nice and buttery with a pronounced oregano finish. Also excellent. This is in the Watertown top 3 no doubt.

Art's Jug has been has been one of Watertown New York's go to spots for dining for at least 50 years. Eat in or take out the food is always above par. One of their famous dishes is the anti pasta salad, you will see one on almost every table when you enter the establishment. They specialize in Italian dishes. Sit down, order up and enjoy, you will not be disappointed!

We have gone here for years normally our pizza and other food is top notch but this time our pizza was really overcooked this is not normal of there food

Prime rib was very salty and over cooked. They didn't have horseradish. There turimisu was delicious. Will try there pizza we heard it was delicious.

Ordered 2 large pizzas, 2 orders of (crispy) mild bone in wings and a large antipasto salad. Pizza and salad were ok but my celery was definitely questionable (brown) and our wings were soggy. For the price of the food I had high hopes. Very disappointed.

We’ve had much better food at Arts in the past. Ordered the Thursday special online. Got the alert it was ready but get there to find out it wasn’t. Waited 20 min. And the pizza was very substandard. We will definitely be back because Arts houses to be solid food, but lacking this trip.

My dining experience was subpar at best. Upon our arrival the host was on the phone and did not acknowledge us. The bartender was short and quite rude yelling across the room to my husband are you here for a Togo order. When he responded to him we would looking for our party that was already seated he just shrugged his shoulders . At the table our server was ready to take our order before we had even looked at the menu. The food was fast. The portion was a bit small for the price but it came out hot so I can't complain. As we were finishing up the meal our server checked back multiple times trying to cash us out almost rushing us. This was not how I wanted to finish my meal.
