Stopped here on my way to Round Rock with my family to get drinks and a late lunch for one of my children. I ordered sweet tea and a side of fries. For one of my kids they wanted chicken tenders and fries. Service was quick and our food was hot. I loved their tea especially when driving on car trips. I do wish you could get/see your total as you order.

Delicious fresh chicken. The french fries are delicious. The rolls are very good too. Purchased a liver dinner and I was so happy with it. My husband got the crunchy juicy chicken tenders and they were excellent. Not too salty or spicy, the right amount of seasoning for chicken tenders. They are great for dipping in your favorite sauce or it comes with fresh cream gravy. I have excellent cold refreshing iced tea🥤 that was not bitter. The service is excellent! Very affordable prices. 🍗🧆🐔

The cook on phone. No one using gloves. I ordered all veggie sides and it tasted decent for the long drive but I'm paying for it days later. 😮‍💨

I used to enjoy the mashed potatoes and gravy but lately they are putting too much black pepper in them. Had to throw away the ones I got today because they were too hot. I'll be going to Church's from now on.

TOTAL LETDOWN!!!! 10+ year local customer who drops $60-$80 per weekend here. If you know Bush's, you know their prices are high, but they USUALLY make up for it with the flavor AND customer service... I always get a 15-pc chicken mix- if they don't have it, they usually offer to mix & match (I've always been flexible- extra thighs, breasts, etc.), or even toss in some tenders to make up for it (as opposed to waiting for 20 minutes), but NOT today. They REFUSED to accommodate. They had 13 pieces and would not even try and accommodate... Bad enough their prices are so crazy-high, and bad enough they don't have chicken ready for their customers at 11:30 AM (more often than one would think), but REALLY?!?!? Not work with a customer who doesn't want to wait for 20 minutes?!?!? Time for this local (and others I'll convince) to start going to Whitney instead. As much as you charge, YOU SHOULD TRY TO ACCOMMODATE YOUR CUSTOMERS!!! Shame on you Bush's!

I was there & sat in line for 5-6 minutes, wasn’t busy at all. I was totally overlooked & ignored & never was waited on. What kind of people do you have working there? Drove off! Horrible service!

My god, the chicken was so so so so so so so so so so salty. The prices are way too expensive, I only bought two meals for me and my daughter and it end up costing $28! reminds me of highway robbery! The specialty meal I individually had (Buffalo Fries) made me sick at the end of the day! It's the one with chicken pieces, hot sauce and ranch dressing! The only thing I actually really enjoyed was the roll. I do not recommend this place, specifically if you got high blood pressure or you're trying to stay away from salt because it won't happen at this place!

I have been eating at this location for years, but on 1/26/25…indoor dining room was freezing, chicken was cold, overcooked and tasteless, fries were starchy, staff was not rude but acted like we were bothering them. I like to stop on West on my trips to Austin and College Station from Fort Worth, guess I’ll start hitting Slovacek’s. No more Bush’s for me.

Ordered 10 Piece Dark Meat. About 7 minutes later they tell me that it would take 15 minutes to fill the order. However they had 10 Pieces of Dark Meat on the rack just sitting there. They said all special orders take 15 minutes. The cashier was new and did not tell me and apparently did not tell them to start cooking a special order. So The 15 minutes wouldn't start until I said I would wait another 15 Minutes for the order. I told them I couldn't wait that long and asked if they could just give me the 10 that were on that were just sitting on the rack. They refused so I asked for a refund and they have the nerve to say that the refund would take two days and I need to call the store if the refund doesn't show up in two days.

Ordered a 4 and a 6 piece chicken tenders dinner did not get a roll or mashed potatoes either one. This will be my last time going.

Was eating my food took a bite out of roll just for there to be a long piece of hair in the roll will be my last time eating at that location

usually stop here when traveling from Dallas to Austin, but this visit was very disappointing. The food was extremely salty — so much that it gave me a bad headache, and I honestly thought I might have to go to the hospital. I tried calling the restaurant about ten times to get my order fixed, but no one ever answered. I’ve always enjoyed stopping here before, but after this experience, I don’t think I’ll be returning. I really hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves the food and customer service. Why have a phone but can’t get through someone can answer the phone this is ridiculous.
