Love this location. Always great
I call this place "My Happy Place". It's a distance from me, so I only go a couple of times a year, but it has the best soft serve around
Even on a super packed weekend night, they were fast, friendly, and they have tons of options to choose from, all while being like an old custord stand instead of a storefront. So it's all outdoors.
Julian made the best blizzard I’ve ever had. What happened to Steven though?
A good hangout spot for adults as well as kids.. Kids love to play in the garden area behind benches.. Staff is great..
Nothing is better than a blizzard on a hot summer's day! Service here is excellent.
Convenient place to get good ice cream and some comfort food. Park and walk up or drive through.
Always the best service. Very friendly girls and yummy ice cream
Loved getting a cone on my birthday in December. Never too cold for ice cream.
Not all Dairy Queens are the same. Randolph has great customer service. They have a clean facility. They are quick and friendly.
They have a great crew working there. The one time I did have an issue, the manager was very attentive and concerned. Everything was resolved above and beyond. Pick this location!
Sad when it closes for the Winter, but, So HAPPY when it ReOpens for the Season! Great Girls serving Awesome Cones...weather Chocolate Dipped or Sprinkled, Dairy Queen can't be Beat! 😉
Rizzo was super nice to me and my daughter. I love this Dairy Queen because everyone is so friendly and welcoming.
Kind people and the vanilla sprinkle cone was great! Like old school times. Thanks!
Looks like this place has new management. Fast service, clean and friendly staff. Many options including hot dogs, the best. Love it.
Friendly staff and a rustic vibe. Great ice cream and very accommodating to requests. My go-to DQ! 😊
I was there on Sunday the ice cream is absolutely awesome everything was perfect even my friend enjoyed her ice cream.
Good place staff was nice and helpful. Ice cream tasted great and fresh, will be back for sure.
amazing service! Very fast! Yummy ice cream. Love the seating outside. Highly recommend!
By far the best location ever especially Alex who helped me. He was super helpful as I didn’t know what to get and what he served me was amazing.
I love their soft ice cream. 🍦 People are nice. They have outdoor tables. We had a great time.
I ordered a chili cheese dog. It was cold by the time I got it. The cheese was not melted. I sat at the picnic tables and it was windy. So everytime I took a bite, the cheese would fly off of my hotdog.
Came by a couple weeks ago, Alex was great. Kid knew his stuff and helped me pick what i wanted.
It's ice cream, what could go wrong?! We got soft serve vanilla chocolate twist in a cup and a Girl Scout Thin Mint Blizzard. Quick service. Of course it was yummy. It's ice cream!
Nostalgic Dairy Queen right here on Route 10. In our post-Covid world, I believe this cold treat purveyor is mostly drive up service. Convenient, tasty and quick. Who could ask for more.
Ice Cream Cupcakes! We found out a few weeks ago that our little one was allergic to cake (and just in time before his 1st Birthday)! We were looking and looking for an alternative to help make our little man’s birthday just as special as he is. We would have never guessed we’d find it at our neighborhood Dairy Queen (Randolph, NJ). Their ice cream cupcakes are perfect in every way and a total crowd pleaser for all age groups!! They were the talk of both our parties we had for him! We have Rizza at the DQ in Randolph, NJ to thank for this! For both orders he took the time to really listen to what I was looking for and created something better than I could have imagined! They were almost too beautiful to eat; 5 Stars in every category! He did a fantastic job and he really made our little man's 1st Birthday special! Our family now has a new birthday tradition! THANK YOU!
Parking lot is a little tight when there is a lot of traffic. But the ice cream is decent and the have a variety of fun versions and flavors to choose from.
Best Dairy Queen around. Large servings for a good price. Love the drive through. Girls working are always very nice and speedy.
This DQ is great! It's quite popular, so you might have a wait... Or try to get there a little earlier. Many show up after dinner, so if you can manage it, get there before 6pm.
The ice cream is delicious (we come here a lot for blizzards) and the employees are the BEST! I wish I had gotten the names of the 2 people who were working the drive thru tonight. Seriously some of the friendliest people I’ve ever encountered. Sometimes you cross paths with people like that and it just makes your whole week. Love this DQ!!!
This is my favorite place to go for quality ice cream with the best service around. The staff is very friendly and the owners are amazing! I would never want to go anywhere else for my ice cream treat. The staff is quick, efficient, and very welcoming. I love this Dairy Queen the most out of all the others around !!
I always stop when I'm in the area. Owners are truly grateful for their customers, and the servings are what you'd expect if not more. Only problem is the road noise if you want to sit at the tables.... but not much they can do about that
I just had the most amazing customer service tonight! Would highly recommend this Dairy Queen to anyone and everyone! Completely went out of their way to help me when they could have easily turned me away! That’s truly what customer service is! Will definitely be coming here for my ice cream !!!
If you're looking for the best ice cream in Randolph and Roxbury. This is it. Friendly service and the place is imaculate . Stop in see Rizzo !! tell him Diane sent you !!!
Our ladies church group went there on a hot summer day - having icecream was great - nice little stop - benches, picnic tables, small parking lot, but wasn't filled when we were there! Definently got their again nice friendly place!
Great costumer service! The girl with the big curly hair was so kind! Definitely going back.
Although they're vanilla, it's not as good as the old carvel vanilla, it is still good and the chocolate is just as creamy and good as anywhere. They offer a wide variety of products from hot dogs to huge sundays. Service is always good but may take some time if they have a long line and are very busy most likely in the summer. As someone else noted, they don't seem to honor some of the promotions or deals. The dairy queen central offers, but I really don't care about that. It's just a very good old fashioned treat. That's as good today as it was in the past.
Drive thru line was a little long, but once it was our turn the service was excellent. The ice cream was also unusually delicious, might be the best Dairy Queen experience I've ever had. Will definitely come back.
Who doesn't like ice cream? This location has a drive thru and multiple windows. Parking is ample, and they have a nice little outdoor seating area. It could be on a larger piece of property because it feels a little tight, but the service and products are enjoyable and have a lot of options to choose from. Go for it! We did!
Always a good experience! Employees that work there are usually friendly and willing to help. A definite summer treat!
Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Food was good.. had a hard time reading menu with sun glare
The soft vanilla chocolate swirl was good. Was looking to get smoothies but was told they were not selling them yet.?
It's a nice DQ, friendly staff and quick service. Great ice cream!
Dairy Queen with a drive thru. The workers are always hustling to get you order complete..still the best vanilla with rainbow sprinkles.
Our favorite hot summer night go to. There will be lines. But we love DairyQueen so we wait.
I have reviewed many franchises in the past. Like the others Fairy Queen follows the standards imposed by the franchise. This location is very clean, friendly and service is good. The quality of the ocean is good too especially for a franchise. They are doing a great job and of course they have a following. Stop by and see what I'm talking about.
Love this place for a summer treat! Only complaint is that the lot is so small and it gets very congested during peak business. But that never stops us from going back. Also, miss them when they close for the winter, (shortly after Halloween), and can't wait until they reopen again in the spring. In our family, "Dairy Queen is open!" is our official indicator that spring has arrived!
Great service and this DQ has a drive thru also. Very convenient to get to right off route 10 west in Randolph. They have a great outdoor seating area to enjoy your Blizzard's or whatever DQ treats.
When did ice cream get as expensive as a fast food meal. 2 blizzards are $16. Outrageous.
Wish they open a new store near parsippany where you have all the office spaces. If you like ice cream this place is very good if you love ice cream this place is for you. Wish they add more flavors every year. Have tried almost all of their flavors by now. Usually crowded in the night after 9.
I like dairy queen but get rid of the fast frozen food. GO back being an ice cream place which had BUTTERSCOTCH ICE CREAM.
Could they get any *more* salt in the chili dog?? Jesus! Also, don't ask for a plastic fork cause they don't have one. Reese's cup Blizzard very good though...
The items we wanted they were out of. In addition the ordering system did not function so we had to order ar the window. Outside of that, the items we did get were delicious.
Very friendly staff. They should have a manager on site on busy days to take care of the parking lot. Lot of cars were parked wrongly and some people were smoking by the tables next to kids.
Went with my family, ordered 10 chili dogs and it took about half an hour to get all of our orders. This dairy queen can't handle the volume on a Saturday evening.
The ice cream is fine but be prepared to wait a minimum of 30 minutes.
Milkshake wasn't thick like I requested and I truly was shocked when I asked for some whipped cream on top, they said 59 cents more. Any other place(including diners, dunkin donuts, starbucks & McD's) asks if you want some but never charge you. Being greedy can be bad for business, new clients, repeat customers and your reputation. Maybe I'll return in 10 years, once I forget this incident.
Ordered a small soft-serve twist cone with sprinkles. It wasn't bad. Wish the vanilla ice cream had a bit more flavor. The chocolate was good, though. Very courteous staff and they were pretty quick, too.
My sister and I went through the drive thru, waiting in line for about 10 minutes to be told that we couldn't order blizzards anymore, and it was all we waited for. I don't understand the practice of being open past your advertised hours with a limited selection, I would have much rather been told be one of the 8 people that seemed to be "working" what was up before reaching the window. Like my sister said, thanks for nothing.
I was extremely disappointed that my cotton candy blizzard did not contain a marshmallow core when I clearly asked for the marshmallow core 5 times. Experience = ruined. The speaker was inaudible and it was nearly impossible to order. They also forgot the soft serve in a misty freeze and now it’s just a sad plain slushy. Extremely angrified.
I bought an Oreo blizzard here and it had a smoky taste to it. The young lady at the drive to was very friendly but because I went through the drive-thru, I didn't let them know that their ice cream tasting.
This location has fallen off for several years now. The quality is why I originally stopped going to begin with. I thought I’d give them another try. The last couple times I’ve gone recently, things haven’t changed much. Dipped cone had a shell so thin that the ice cream started to seep through as soon as it was handed to me (skimpy). The blizzard I got wasn’t even mixed well and the consistency was off. I will try the kenvil location to see if the quality is better there.
The past two times we have gotten ice cream at this location, the ice cream has a chemical taste. Over the summer I got a vanilla cone and felt like I was eating their cleaning products when I got to the cone. It happened again last night, my husband’s cones and sprinkles tasted like chemicals and the brownie pieces in my daughter’s blizzard had the same taste. I’m Not sure if they aren’t cleaning carefully but I can’t get ice cream from here anymore since this has now been our experience twice there.
Do not even bother going there. They can't even prepare freaking ice cream. I ordered Turtle Pecan and guess what? I came back home and found out that they made the one with M&Ms.
Bad service and never get my order right. It's always missing a topping.. Kenvil is great. They're kinda slow but they always get it right.
35 mins for drive through. Used to be in and out of here a year ago. Too slow. Not worth wait!
There had to be 30 cars waiting to be served, and inconsiderate people were pulling in through the exit. The staff was notified but didn't do anything about it. The ice cream was not great and not worth the wait. I wouldn't recommend this place.
This location chose not to show customer appreciation by NOT participating in the free cone Spring celebration, so I will choose a different location to spend my $$$$
Not very happy with the incredibly slow drive thru.Early in the season, March,3 cars in front of us.A half hour?Seriously?Thought drive thru meant a quicker pick up.Its only March hope they get their act together before the summer.I won't be back.
Idk whats wrong with this place..any time i go, and i mean ANY time..its minimum 20 minutes to get ice cream..its mind boggling...and if u use the drive thru? Lol..forget about it...go somewhere else
Idk what's happened to dairy queen but after several experiences I'd rather go to McDonald's @ least my Mcflurry is blended well & I receive a lot of oreo crumble....been here 2x this year with the children & we won't return
The only Dairy Queen on the planet that doesn’t give out free ice cream on the first day of spring.
This location refuses to honor offers within the dairy queen app. Why are they associated with dairy queen at all then?
Very slow service. Sad. They just talk to each other and don't really know what they're doing. I waited behind a car for two things of ice cream for 30 minutes.
A few weeks ago I got a Blizzard at the Kenvil location, there was only a trace amount of Snickers in it at $6.08. Decided to try the Randolph location today and was equally disappointed. Not only was there a trace amount of candy your price was $6.94. At that price and a size medium there should be candy in each and every spoonful! Also waited 20 minutes or more at the drive thru. Sad to say my DQ days are done!
I was charged $114.26 for ice cream at this DQ location and when I asked the staff about the incorrect charge, they claimed ignorance since the only receipt they gave me was the one with the correct charge. Otherwise, the service was acceptable and ice cream was good. Just wish that the older woman who "fat fingered" an incorrect credit card charge would've admitted having done so.
This particular DQ closes at 10pm. I showed up at 950pm and as I pulled up the girls in the window saw me coming and closed the place down for the night. As I sat flustered in my car, they proceeded to shut the lights off as my 3 year old nephew sat in the back seat wondering why he couldn’t get his ice cream. Do not recommend. Terrible service especially when they see a paying customer coming and close the place down 10 minutes early. NOT PROFESSIONAL!
Location did not participate in a nationwide promotion, but the worse part is we did not know it until we had already waited 20 minutes in line. The professional thing to do would have been to post signage at a minimum. Unfortunately, the order takers were not trained to try to sell us something else. We took our business to a nearby competitor that evening.
I would give a zero since the woman at the window rudely stated that they don’t honor the celebratory 85 cent Blizzard advertised by DQ through a promotional ad to me. We went to kenvil DQ. Same story but the man was not abrupt. Why does DQ advertise deals if their stores won’t honor them?
I had to tell my order three times before the guy could comprehend it. If he can’t hear he should take off the headset. I asked him not to touch the cone because he wasn’t wearing gloves, and he completely ignored me. The cone fell apart immediately.
Decided to give them 1 more chance tonight. Ordered 2 blizzards, miniscule amounts of toppings throughout. Disappointed. Officially done with this location.
$34 for a freezer burned cake today. It was disgusting and such a disappointment for my kid’s birthday. This used to be my favorite DQ. I’d like a refund!
$14 for two blizzards with next to no chunks… When I politely asked for them to add a little extra, they said it’ll be a $2 charge… I don’t usually leave reviews but that’s insane to me!
Worst service! Haven’t gotten the order right so many times that we stopped going here for a very long time. Game them a few more tries recently. Absolutely no better! They staff seems to be untrained and unable to write orders down so they ask you 5 times and still get it wrong. Updated :: I reluctantly went back tonight. First off they have no idea what a Reese extreme blizzard is. secondly, Reese‘s peanut butter cup blizzard. There was less than one spoonful of Reese’s peanut butter cup a medium size cup of ice cream. They never blended it. So I got a $8 cup of vanilla ice cream. It was all laying at the very bottom this place should be closed. They are a disgrace to other Dairy Queen and should be put out of busy!!
I have been going here for 16+ years and have never had a problem until tonight. Staff was horrendous! I asked for a medium ice cream in cup with hot fudge. They gave me the smallest ice cream I have ever received there. It was smaller than a small. They also took FOREVER to give us our ice cream. The blizzard I also ordered was melted dripping all over me as they handed it to me. Ridiculous. Will never go back until that staff is fixed!
Worst DQ I have been to. When I got home my order was completely wrong. The blizzard was made with chocolate ice cream when I asked for vanilla, but the worker put vanilla on top to hide the chocolate. The car in front of me return their ice cream 3x before they got it right.
I went there 2 times in the last 2 weeks and both times they didn't give me what I asked for. Please don't go there if you are disabled. They do not follow the ADA law. This owner should be ashamed of himself.
Since we've been married (8 years) we've been coming here. Tonight is the first time that I had a bad experience. We ordered to medium cones, one with chocolate dip. When we tried to order over the speaker they couldn't hear us, so we drove to the window. They assumed that we wanted the small, I corrected them. Next I know they hand us a small cone with chocolate and a medium cone. They charged me for 2 medium's when I pointed it out he offered to give me a medium cone....what am i gonna do with a small ice cream and an empty medium cone? Just refund me, i was so annoyed I just left. Is it under new management?
$19.00 for two large blizzards. What a rip off! Both blizzards were also missing ingredients. They might have changed owners. This location used to be good. Horrible product, horrible price, horrible owner. Go somewhere else!!
I used to love this place for the good service provided by the young teenagers working there, until I was attended by a nice young girl, apparently she was new and made a mistake. The manager, (an older lady) instead of calmly guiding her, yelled at her Infront of other customers including myself. I saw the horror on the young girls face which was disappointing and heartbreaking. If this place is gonna offer first time job opportunities to teenagers, they should also offer patience, guidence and support not public humiliation, considering it is their first work place experience's. screaming at someone doesn’t help them learn and it shows a serious lack of professionalism as well as respect from management. They lost a client, I don't support businesses with abusive managers.
Two weeks ago, we bought a Blizzard here. The chocolate was in thin slices mixed with pieces of caramel and vanilla ice cream. Today, I am very disappointed! The chocolate came in strange shapes and tasted terrible, there was no caramel, and the ice cream was mixed with that cheap chocolate. After tasting it, I asked for it to be remade, but the flavor was still awful. With such poor flavors, cheap ingredients, and low-quality work, are they trying to push customers away or do they want people to come back?🤦♀️
Never going here again. They don’t participate in the free kids cone day, which is okay, but real crummy. But the worst part is there was no notification of that until the window at the drive thru, after you wait online for 15 minutes.
The ice cream really good, the costumer service very nice guys but if I was from sanitation I would closed down this place where are the gloves and the way that they clean their is wiping their pants, the lady was making my hotdog with bare hands while drinking her Wendy’s soda that’s not nice
