Tacos where on point a bit pricy for tacos for reals but the best I’ve had in a long time and the micheladas are good too

We were very pleased with the food here. The fish tacos were 10/10. The staff was very polite from the moment we walked in. Greeting us. The cashier was a young girl who was very polite, the cook was fast and brought the food out to our table. We will be back.

I hardly leave reviews on places but this one definitely deserves one. My family & i went to eat here and hands down 10/10 my husband ordered the fish & cabeza tacos. I ordered the carne asada nachos & my kids ordered more tacos & rolled tacos. Weve had a issue finding a good authentic mexican food restaurant but this place definitely brought that. The salsas , the hand made tortillas are amazing. We will definitely be back the tortas look good too :). The restaurant is conveniently placed in a good shopping center. The location is clean & has a restroom & outdoor seating as well. The staff was friendly and would make their rounds asking if we needed anything else. A great place to try for sure.

Was up in Murrieta and stopped in for the first time and got the New York Shrimp burrito. I’m a San Diego native and pretty much have lived on Mexican food my whole life. This place has a great vibe, very friendly service, and the burrito (and avocado salsa) was seriously awesome. My family really liked their food as well. It was $13 for my surf n turf burrito which is average now in 2024. Not the fastest service, but I’m here for good food and a good time, and this place delivered.

BEST Mexican food in town. So happy for this new ownership/establishment. The food is delicious! Fresh! Crispy! Fast! I have been a handful of times and have ordered different things with each visit. Tacos, Birria, Burrito, jalapeño poppers, Mulitas, Jamaica All of it has been so good. The service is impeccable. The young gentleman at the counter always welcomes you, helps with recommendations on the menu, serves you and gets you anything you need. He’s amazing.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat while running errands and was very surprised! The artwork on the walls is beautiful, the kitchen and wait staff were super nice and I enjoyed my food! Thank you, Picasso!

One of the better "authentic " Mexican food around! High quality meats, great salsa bar, tortillas made on site why on watch! GREAT SERVICE! Lots of room for inside eating and they serve to your table for inside diners. Very friendly family run business! They have stayed open with "to go" service through this crisis. Still serving great food as always. Salsa bar is closed but they have all the salsa bar choices neatly packaged in cups ready to go . Just tell the cashier what you want! Were so happy that they have been able to stay open. This is our go to place for REAL Mexican food. Lately been running out of carnitas meat several times during the week. NOT GOOD!

There California burritos are they best in town -- tacos are on point so glad they came back this is must stop if you passing Clinton Keith

Under new management from Tacos T.J. Glad the recipe stayed the same on our favorite burrito. There's nothing like their quesa carne asada burritos! It's flavor and all the fresh ingredients makes all the difference. It's the taste and quality ingredients that keeps us coming back. Best burrito ever!!! Worth the price. New staff and owners are very friendly. Love their mild salsa it's my favorite. Usually call in orders to go. Not sure if the number is up and running just yet.

A great place to grab some quick delicious Mexican food at a reasonable price. The staff was very friendly, and professional. The restaurant was clean. Oh, and their salsa bar offered a variety of salsas, and other toppings as well, such as grilled onions and peppers. Definitely a place to go check out. You won't be disappointed.

Worth getting off the freeway to have a quick bite. The tacos are tasty and have a good flavor. Simply dressed with onion and cilantro, your meat choice and the yellow corn tortilla stand out in flavor. The meat is not dry, flavorless or over-seasoned. Certainly, the price per taco is a little higher than other places, but when the taco hits the spot like these do, it's worth the extra buck. They offer a variety of salsa options, all being well- balanced on heat. COVID-19 protocols are in place, including table distancing, packaging and ventilation. I'll definitely be stopping by again when I'm driving past Clinton Keith on Hwy 15.

Tacos Tijuana is back. This business was sold and later closed. The original owners reestablished the restaurant. Their carna asada items are the best.

Very, very tasty tacos! The meat was juicy and service was friendly and outstanding. The tortillas were delicious! They reminded me of tortillas usually found in taquerias in CDX. It's conveniently located close to the freeway exit. If you visit, don't miss the custom floor. It's a work of art along with the wall murals. It's a must visit if you are in the area!!!

We been eating here for years. They closed for a little while but opened back up! We are so happy because this place is always delicious. Recommend floutas, tortilla soup, chicken burritos and the salsa is always fresh and yummy

I've been here several times as I pass through this town. It's easy off the freeway and it's always been pretty stand-up food but today, we just got some Carnes of tacos and I gotta say they were over the top, really good stuff. Price is good food's good. I recommend it

I was on my way to Taco Bell and happened to notice this restaurant I made a U-turn and was not disappointed..the tacos were good and it happened to Tuesday and their tacos were only $2.50. I tried their asada and al pastor. I will definitely go back if I'm ever in thus area.

I come here with my parents on vacation since they both like the menudo which this restaurant sells daily instead of being weekend only. The menudo comes with warm flour tortilla and chopped onions and cilantro. The broth is seasoned well and the tripe is soft. I like their baja fish tacos and pastor tacos, breading is not too thick and the fish is crispy. They also do taco tuesday. The staff is nice and the place is clean.

I love Tacos Al Pastor and these guy's got the Tijuana flavor down right. The flavor of the pork is just right and don't forget the salsa. Pastor burrito is also a good choice.

This place has delicious food, but its often hit or miss. Last time we came everything was spot on. The New York steak and shrimp burrito will knock your socks off, but this time the El Pastor burrito was very dry. No bueno!! Not sure what makes the difference, but it was inedible. Hopefully next time will be better. Not enough to keep us from going back.

We got an asada rice and bean burrito, asada torta, 4 tacos de al pastor, and a lg horchata. The asada was very good, the torta is a bit on the smaller side. The salsas have good flavor and the spicy one really is spicy. Down side: it's pricey $60 for my order, they dont have a veggie bar, so no radishes, cucumbers, limes etc. I wouldn't order the al pastor again, it wasnt bad but it just didn't taste like al pastor and it wasn't thinly slices from el trompo. I would consider stopping by again for the torta and spicy salsa.

We went here to try the “New York” shrimp and steak taco. We got takeout. In addition I got a Baja style fish taco and my fiance got the birria taco. Overall the food was decent. The New Yorker taco had a yummy sauce on it and nice flavor and was a basic size. It’s a $6 ($5 and some change) taco so I was expecting it to be bigger. Unfortunately the birria tortilla was so soaked it fell apart immediately while eating. It had good flavor though. Lastly the Baja taco was good. A little dry but I like my stuff extra saucey so that would just be me. For only a few items we did wait 15 or more minutes which seemed a little long. We may come back at some point.

First time I visit Tacos Tijuana and to be honest a bit disappointed, the food was okay but not what I expected. I ordered 1/2 lbs of carne asada which came with rice, beans and tortillas, the flavor was decent but it did not looked like 1/2 lb and too well done for my liking. The meat was dry and hard, I was actually expecting the meat to be whole not chopped, not worth the $20 price tag in my eyes.

The good was good. But the cashier was rude, cold & short. She needs to work on her people skills. I was with my mom & she said the same thing. So we haven’t gone back since & don’t think we ever will. Very disappointed bc it’s close to home & the food was decent. If it wasn’t for the rude attitude we got from the staff I’d think about going back.

A burrito, 2 quesa tacos and 3 drinks, $42 including a $5 tip. Not enough bang for the buck. If the portions were the size of the price I would have left a better review. Maybe I will try something different next visit.

The Asada wasn't the best tasted burnt 😕. And felt like it was over priced.

Food was ok but service was horrible. We ordered burrito, two twcos, and chips and salsa which lady even told us that they charge for chips and salsa. We got containers for salsas but there was barely any left so we asked if we could get more salsa and the guy responded that he is too busy and we need to ask the cashier but cashier was busy with taking orders. Even after we got food and 15 minutes later we had to ask again which then they notified us that they’re out of salsas. Wouldn’t have even eaten there if we knew they don’t have salsa and they were annoyed with us by asking. So we ate dry chips and burrito and have no desire coming back.

After seeing a TikTok from teddy grubs my family and I decided to give this place a chance. But it really disappointed! First of all the girl who took our order was extremely RUDE! Next they say to be the best TIJUANA TACOS ! Tijuana tacos have a good amount of guacamole. These tacos had less than a tablespoon of guac. When I brought it up to up the server/cashier she had an attitude and said that is the guac! Looked more like green salsa. Next the carne asada was flavored less no salt and burnt. For a taco to be bland $4.67 is not worth it ! When we also asked for lemons she ignored us multiple times and only have us 6 lemons for like 8th. Save your money and time don’t come here. We all left unsatisfied. And after asking the another cashier to get the manager so we can discuss how rude the girl who took our order /gave us our food was. She told us that girl who served/took our order was the manager! We will never be coming back to this place. Below you will see their Tijuana tacos and next to it a real Tijuana taco. Tacos el gordo got better tacos.

Very disappointed with the food mainly the carne asada, was very dry, hard, overcooked and tasted old, I couldn’t finish it! Rice and beans are ok.

Food is good but just don't order the one pound of Carne asada. Weighed it on a food scale and came in at 11.7 ounces including the foil. If you are going to sell something by weight I suggest you actually weigh it to make sure you aren't ripping off your customers.

If I can leave zero stars I would… Carne asada is extremely burnt it’s black ! This taco was for my 1 year old baby and it’s completely burnt! Horrible! Whoever the cook is back there needs to stop giving away burnt meet ! I mean look at this ? Ask him to come eat it and see if he will!

Wow! How disappointing. Use to be my absolute favorite place for Mexican food. Especially the tacos and burritos. The burritos were my favorite. Use to be very big in size and didn't mind the price. Amazing taste with decent amount of guacamole and of course a big burrito. My last recent visit was a complete slap in the face. I know times are tough but you have lost a favorite customer. The burrito was very small for the price. Almost looked like 2 tacos put together. Not sure were the guacamole went but mine had a splash of it. Flavor was ok and definitely not satisfied with the overall performance. Hard to find a quality, with rich in flavor Mexican restaurant that doesn't take advantage of the customer. Now I remember why I only do homemade cook meals. Nothing better than homemade fresh food. Thought this place was going to continue to strive in that aspect of tasting just like a home cooked meal. Cons: small amount of food, OVER PRICED FOOD.
