In Wyoming! Fresh fish. Great service. Rivals coastal cities
Great service. Amazing for. Excellent green tea over cream with home made green tea cookie
Great little sushi spot in between the village and Jackson! Always reluctant to try sushi at landlocked places, but Jackson is different given that it’s Jackson. It can move the high quality fish they get so it stays fresh. I got the classic Japanese dishes such as miso soup, wakame, miso cod, unagi (eel), sake sashimi (salmon), uni (sea urchin), chu-toro (tuna belly), and hamachi. They did a great job with the classic dishes and preserved the taste profile and executed well. They must have had a Japanese trained chef. The fish was high quality and they somehow were able to source traditional ingredients. Little details were point such as the rice and addition of mushrooms in the miso. I liked how there was also a hint of local ingredients in the dishes and a slight western style of plating. My favorite was the miso cod and make sure to ask for rice. Overall great food and nice end to the spring pow day. Staff was friendly and the place had a locals vibe. I would definitely come through again! (PS I read through the reviews on pricing and they are absurd because solid Japanese food is hard to do already and especially hard to do in the mountains where you have to order a lot of specialty ingredients and make sure it moves to stay fresh.)
Wonderful luxury sushi place in town. That will worth your money. The bartender was so helpful and accommodating. Excellent!
House made ginger… soy… and excellent sushi! Definitely a great place!
Never disappoints! Great vibes and absolutely wonderful food!
Excellent food and service. Sashimi and nigiri, rolls were top notch. Kitchen entrees nice as well. Servers were friendly. Moderately priced compared to other upper echelon cities.
Best Sushi ever!!! Every bite is the next best bite and the service is also amazing. It was a perfect dining experience! I cannot rave enough about it. It’s a must!
Top notch sushi. Salmon and tuna were fantastic quality. Excellent service. Yes expensive but with Jackson Hole factor and the idea of paying for quality, not unreasonably so.
Top shelf dining experience! Every item was spectacular, prepared to perfection. Staff was friendly & made suggestions of items to try. Cannot wait to visit again!!
The best freshest fish flown in from Japan and perfectly prepared !!!!! I’ve been to many sushi restaurants and this is by far the best and freshest food
My favorite sushi place in the country for several reasons. Food is top notch but the service and attention to detail are over the top.
Fantastic food, presentation, staff and service! Definitely on the top of our list for dining out in Jackson while visiting.
We eat here all the time. Caroline is a superb manager. Love the food. It's one of our go to places !
Great place, great atmosphere, great service.. Sushi is off the charts good!
Upscale restaurant with unique ingredients in the sushi rolls. Great food and good service. Reservations recommended.
Managed to grab a table for 2 without a reservation in late July. I think we got lucky seeing as the place was quite busy. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the overall experience. Although we ordered all of our 5 sushi dishes at once, they were thoughtfully plated and brought to us individually as a 5-course meal; thus each offering had its own space to enjoy. The pace of service was perfect, and a nice touch. Don't skimp out on the sake pairings, or Surf&Turf roll; they are well worth the premium.
I had a really great experience tonight at Sudachi. Robert at the sushi bar was super attentive and customized my entire order. The sushi was some of the best I’ve ever had. It was definitely a splurge, but the quality of the fish and the service was well worthwhile, highly recommend!
Was chocking on some bug and went into restaurant. They gave me full glass of water right away with no questions. Good place. Good people.
Excellent sushi close to Teton Village. The fish quality was amazing, as were all the rolls. The sashimi dish we had was fantastic as well but for the price was a bit of a small portion and wouldn’t fulfill an entire meal in my opinion. The desserts were incredible as well! Will be back for sure.
Super cool place and the staff was amazing. It helps I was with a longtime local who is a pal of the staff. Regardless I saw them treating everyone well and very attentive. The sushi was on point and so were the drinks. Can’t wait to be back.
Sudachi was our first restaurant in the Jackson area and it did not disappoint! We were staying nearby with our two pups and they graciously allowed us to sit outside with them. The service was friendly, attentive, warm and welcoming. Drinks were incredible.. but of course the food is where we were really won over. Fresh sushi, well-thought and delicious specialty rolls, and mouth watering desserts.. it was definitely a meal to remember. Thank you!
The manager (who was also hosting tonight) was very attentive and kept me updated on the status of my take out order. they don’t typically do takeouts so i appreciated the ability to bring three sushi rolls home to the fam. highly recommend Sudachi.
Delicious. Awesome Happy Hour 5p-6p. Rolls from $3-$6 such as veggie futomaki $3 temaki $6 various (kappa, veggie, spicy tuna, salmon skin.). Half off well drinks, hot sake and draft beer. Wines too at least during our visit. Bar only but accommodated us w table Would recommend after a good day off outdoor activities.
Very good food (5 stars for that), but it was on the pricey side and the ambiance was...fine. The tuna sashimi on crispy sushi rice app was fantastic. The miso seemed home made (not the standard mass-produced stuff you find most places). They had a wide selection of fishes for sashimi and nigiri, and a few quite complex house rolls which were delicious. The salmon sashimi was great (6 pieces per order). I was surprised they didn't have (or didn't advertise) standard maki, but I bet they could make it if you asked.
This is not another cookie cutter crappy faux-Japanese place, and it’s pretty good for being in the middle of the mountains. The cooked dishes were excellent japanese-american fusion. The sushi needs some work. - the shari is woefully underseasoned, to the point where I wondered if any vinegar at all had been added to my rice. I’m not saying you guys need to be making super-tangy edomae style rice, but it’s gotta have some acidity. - shari was packed WAY too densely for nigiri, and pieces were too big. - theyre using horseradish / fake wasabi, and they use it heavily. IMO, they need to dial it back for the nigiri. A little goes a looong way, especially with the mild white fishes. (also, at $6-8 per piece price point for nigiri, you guys can’t order some real wasabi from Oregon?) - nori was rubbery on maki TBH I’d eat here again next time in Jackson but reviews saying this is up to big city standard for sushi are over the top. It’s very good for the mountains.
The service and food were great. Food is a tad pricey. Ordered the Marley Roll, Nashi, and Waimea roll. Make a reservation!
Great staff, great food! Super expensive, be prepared. 2x what the average place costs.
Great food, but they know they didn't have my creme brulee
Should be $$$ or $$$$ when it comes to the sushi menu. The food was delicious and the service was great!
Great food. But service was bad from the moment we walked in the door. The hostess simply pointed, and said “ your table is over there” and didn’t even give us menus for all the people in our party. I’d expect better from a place where dinner is $100/person.
Order: crispy shrimp, Brussels, nigiri and two rolls Verdict: good portions, apps were awesome. Rolls were hit or miss but nigiri were good. Probably go heavier on the straight fish next time for the entree. Moms ribs were good too.
Nice staff, descent sushi but way over priced. I've eaten at many high-end sushi joints from NYC, San Fran, Seattle, Tokyo to kyoto and I've never paid so much for so little sushi. While the place had nice staff and cool vibe I don't think I'll choose to eat here again unless their prices change. The food was tasty, maybe more of a modern american take on sushi, which is fine, they still offer traditional sashimi and nigiri for the purists. Check this out if you're not too hungry or you want a light snack, but look elsewhere if you want to dine without breaking the bank.
The food was tasty but the portions were quite small for the price. Our party and others, however, had several issues, namely receiving food that wasn't what we ordered. They were accommodating, though it was highly frustrating, as people were getting hungry in the meantime.
Portions were small for the price. The food tasted good and the service was fine. Definitely $$$, not $$.
WARNING!! This merchant is taking advantage of the Corona situation. I will start by saying the food is excellent. That is not the issue. We ordered dinner last night to take home. The cost seemed a little high so I checked the itemized bill. On the bill was a $13.00 charge for “take out.” Believe me, it is not the $13.00 that bothers me, it is the principle that in these days of the Corona Pandemic when people are being encouraged to take their food home to eat, why all of a sudden this restaurant is charging a $13.00 service charge to take the food out. We have been bringing food home from many restaurants in JH over the summer and not one of them has charged for takeout. I questioned the owner and I have to say his attitude towards this customer was less than appreciated. I asked him if I had my dinner in the restaurant and didn’t finish my meal would I be charged for the box to take it home. Of course, he said “no.” I also reminded him that by taking my food home he saves money on dishwashing. My question was why would he charge to take the food home to eat. I let him know that if they continue to charge for takeout, we would not be coming back. His answer to me was “I have been here at this restaurant 6 years and I don’t recognize your face (perhaps, it was because I was wearing my mask) and I couldn’t care less if you don’t want to eat here again.” On their website, it encourages you to take food out, and nowhere does it say a service charge will be added to your bill for the privilege of taking the food home. “We will also begin receiving TAKE-OUT orders at 4pm, please call us to get you order in, as take out slots fill up quickly for the evening.” I am sad that this happened because we very much enjoy the food, but we will not return when the attitude of the owner was such as it was last night. There are plenty of welcoming restaurants in JH.
Don't want to leave a negative review per se. We drove 40 minutes for the great happy hour everyone talked about. Be aware there are only 9 seats at the bar and we arrived at 5:40(10mins after they open), to find 8 seats taken. They will not honor happy hour anywhere else in the restaurant. Regular rolls are $25+. So if coming for happy hour get there right at opening. Staff seemed very friendly.
2 stars for food is ok, but price is over . And the menu price in Google Maps is incorrect. For example, the miso soup in Google Maps menu is $4, but in the store menu it is $6.
Looking for sushi in Jackson? Go to King sushi. The money that you are going to spend at Sudachi does not match the quality of the food. The fish - is good, but that’s it. Sushi, no good, special plates no good either. We just spend 250$ for two and I’m still hungry, lol.
Underwhelming Experience - The sushi was rather boring and expensive. The atmosphere was just OK. I've had much better sushi elsewhere.
Highly overpriced for what you get. Not terrible by any means but the meal was worth probably 50% of what we ended up paying.
Sushi is good. Service was slow, but then the staff rudely hurried us out even though we had waited quite some time for our order (40 minutes for our last roll). Pretty obnoxious for the price point. Sticking to King Sushi from here on out!
The most overpriced and pretentious sushi bar I have been to. The staff are arrogant. The food is decent but not great. And, the pricing is obnoxious. Also, the space is overcrowded and they are incredibly disorganized.
Didn’t allow carry out on a Tuesday at 8pm during COVID. They said they would seat us outside but even if we sat down and then packaged our meal to go (because it was too cold outside) they wouldn’t allow it. Totally ridiculous. Don’t come here if you want take out (which their Google review said they did).
This place takes advantage of rich tourists. The prices are completely inflated. Never go here. There is much better sushi in Jackson.
Wow, the girl up front could not have been more rude. I knew they were busy, but there could be improved training for her.
The place was very small and very expensive. The food was not worth the $200 dollar bill. On Google, their menu ranged from $6.00 to around $20.00 when in reality it ranged from about $20.00 to $75.00 a plate.
Way too $$$ 11/piece of sushi for chefs choice and $6/piece for regular? No. But the hostess was nice.
Very overpriced. No place should charge more than $6.50 for a tune or salmon roll.
It was my first time dining at Sudachi. Nothing I ordered left me wanting to come back.
