I travel all over the world creating strong staff, training customer serve, Manager development, staff development and exceptional team building. My server give excellent customer service. DRAKE attended to my order with such exceptional skill and knowledge. His trainer should in his live skills today. He welcomed me with a smile. Drake checked on me every 2 minutes. He constantly attended to my very picky needs. He listen my order by documenting my selection of the meal. Most time I never get the meal selection correct. My meal was just as I expected it. I spoke with the manager who was very professional amd skilled. The staff wrreprompt, skilled and showed the love for the job and they really work well as a Team. The Manager training has really showed with his direction.
I'm giving the food only 4 stars because my mom's over easy eggs were overcooked & crispy on top & they forgot my pancakes on my Sampler Plate. Our waitress was great though & she had the issues fixed right away. She was always checking on us & removed any empty plates without an attitude. I appreciate that. The restaurant itself was clean & the atmosphere was fine. I've been here a few times & yes, I will definitely be back.
My visit to this IHOP on Christmas Eve was a great experience. The service exceeded my expectations. My food server was accommodating, attentive, courteous, and polite. The dish I ordered, a mushroom and spinach omelet, proved that a chain restaurant can use fresh, aromatic, and colorful ingredients. Thank you!

Stopped by IHOP around 6 AM and had a great experience. The restaurant was clean, well lit, and felt safe. The food came out quickly, tasted good, and our waiter was kind and attentive. Overall, a solid location with no complaints.
I would give more than five starts if I could. The customer service we received was outstanding. Marianna went above and beyond for us. The manager who was also our cook did an amazing job on our food. Even though they were short handed they didn't let it affect the service they gave to their customers.
I came in this morning after a 12 hour shift and just wanted to order my family breakfast and not have to cook. I went with the special because why not? I just have to say.. first with the gentleman that took my order, he was super friendly and let me know that special didn’t begin until 7am. Normally I probably would have left because I was dead tired but his cheerful personality kept me there. Not only did he let the cook know to start the big order early but the cook also such a sweetie made everything beautiful and fresh. Then a sweet lady came out to inform me the syrup I wanted was out but she hooked me up with a flavor I hadn’t tried before which was amazing. Thank you to the ihop team this morning. You made a tired lady’s day!

Very busy day for ihop on Veterans day. We greatly appreciate their quick seating (<30 minutes) and the food turned out as expected.
I live about 35 min away, was in the area, and to tell yall the truth, id drive DOUBLE that time just for the chance to have Omar as my server again, wife and kids loved his efficient service and quickness to handle our order, refill, etc.
Ms Moe is running the most cohesive friendly helpful Speedy service from any IHOP in this city hands down this is the best location it's clean everyone works together from the server to the busboy to the manager being involved making sure everyone is happy no one has a bad face everybody's smiling everybody's working together so that all customers are serviced as promptly and completely as possible this place deserves your business. The pancakes and the hash browns alone are reason enough to visit once a month at least!
Fm 78 Rittman/Foster rd Our waitress Amanda was awesome! She has taken care of us on more than one occasion. Ask for her when you go. She's fun, she smiles, laughs with you. She went above and beyond with a question we had on the menu in regards to crepes. It was the wording on the menu. In clarification, the menu called for only one, she brought us another one .. bonus. I got my fill of 🍫 pancakes, 😆 We only drink ☕️ when go to ihop. Something about FRESH brewed makes a huge difference in quality. Prices, like everywhere have gone up. Thank Amanda, we will be back!
I’m leaving ihop and I’ve had the best late night customer service from Deanna. Usually ppl have attitudes late at night from dealing with drunk ppl. But her patience and customer service skills were awesome. I recommend this location on her shift to everyone.
This morning I ordered online so I could pick up and come back home as soon as possible! When I arrived to the restaurant I was greeted with a great Good Morning and it’s almost done. As I sat there I noticed a group of servers and cooks helping guests laughing and getting the orders out. It’s nice to see people working together and getting the job done. Management was helping also Asa regular team associate or quarterback trying to score a touch down. Well with me they made a touchdown with their great service! I got home and fed everyone and they felt the same way I did but it was in the food. My mother ate and said this was the best IHOP breakfast she’s had from IHOP in awhile! I agreed! The grits, eggs, bacon and pancakes were cooked to perfect ❤️…. Great job team! I hope you keep up this service and watch people be lining up at the door!
After the horrible experience I received from the manager at Dennys, I was so happy to find a ihop next door, because I was craving breakfast and didnt wanna drive far. I Walked in and immediately felt taken care of—seated right away, greeted quickly, and staff made me feel seen even before I was ready to order. That level of service is chef’s kiss 👌🏿. Clean, professional, and friendly. Denny’s across the street could never. IHOP will always get my business first. The manger Mo, runs this place like a true boss. Her energy, professionalism, and customer service, top notch. And how can I forget my server Ciara who was amazing as well. Thank you ladies, for taking good care of me!
We came in a second time Wednesday morning Cree had an amazing attitude was responsive and took our order fast. I appreciate the tentiveness. Thanks cree! Justice the manager was our server. We had breakfast 😋 egg white vegetarian omelet 🍊 juice with fresh fruit... hubby had 🍓 pancakes with eggs, sausage, and 🍊 juice. Everyone was kind, pleasant, and checked on us regularly. Thank you for your kindness. The food was yummy 😋 very fulfilling 😋 😊 We will be back again. Music was pleasant, not loud. Sorry, no photos 😅 I was busy eating, and by the time I remembered, I'd eaten most of my omelet.
We got to this IHOP after midnight, and it wasn't many ppl. We were seated right away. The host was also our waiter. She was nice, had a smile on her face, pleasant, and she was multi-tasking. It looked like she was training someone also. KUDOS TO YOU! The food was so delicious. Everything was cooked just right and looked even better. We ordered a little of everything, like our own buffet style. I wonder why the IHOPs in or near my city don't taste like this one. TOPS OFF TO THE COOK!!! If you're in SA, stop here for a quick bite.

It was good. A little disappointed because I asked about the specials and the staff said there was no specials. After I ordered I saw online that there was Ihopyhour. Everyone besides one person got their food in this photo. Missing is a chicken quesadilla. The waitress said they had to cook the chicken to make sure it's not raw. 20 min later it was out.

The restaurant was very clean and inviting. Food was pretty fresh but I wasn’t a huge fan of the pancakes. (We really wanted to try the Willy wonka pancakes.) Personally I like the flavoring of the pancakes cooked into the pancake not just spread on top. Not bad though. Everything was great! Would go back again.
The food was cooked well except it took a very long time to get it out. My food came out barely room temperature while my mom's food we were told had to be remade. So I say eating my lukewarm but tasty food while my mom sat waiting for hers. Our server, Keyshon (sp?) was pretty busy but had a great attitude and we enjoyed his service (we realize it wasn't his fault the kitchen was having issues). He was very pleasant and patient with my elderly mom, which was very nice 🙂 I tried a breakfast combo with the strawberry cheesecake pancake tacos and was actually on the fence about them but they were really good!

Came by for breakfast a few weeks ago and I was surprised by some of the new vegan options they have! They have hashbrowns and avocado toast which is impressive as they used to not have many options that were vegan! They were so tasty and I'll definitely be coming back! I do wish they'd add some non-dairy milk for their coffee. Also some tofu/tempeh/seitan options to replace meat and some vegan cheese and sauces/dips.
Good food but kinda long wait when there is a lot of people but there wasn't and it was very good👍
Waiter did not stop even when I called her. Other waiters did not care either they just skipped us even though we were right next to them. But other from that food was great, not busy but they still don’t listen
I’ll give a 3 star only because of my waiter Diego. Other than him, the rest just can’t seem to put down their phones. There were 2 employees rolling silverware while the rest ignored everything. Dirty tables. Dirty bathrooms. Women’s bathroom didn’t close. Not once did I see the manager and we were there for an hour. 6:30-7:30pm on 7/25/21. I understand this is during the covid times and it’s hard to find good employees but this is our 3rd time here since last November and everything is still the same! Definitely won’t be coming back..
We were seated quickly, but it did take a while to get food after we ordered. The pancakes were warm at best, the butter was hard to spread. The tea tasted old and when addressed after our meal to the manager, she had an attitude and basically told us we had to pay for the drinks either way. She was yelling from the back "have a nice day" with a sarcastic attitude after a remark was made that they didn't have to charge us for the drinks. 🙄 This location we always have issues.
Waittress wasn't very friendly and attentive. We went and ordered all yiu can eat pancakes she only came to our table once. First and last going for that special.
They seem to be short on help.a lady helped us but she wasn't a waitress. I think she was management. But it took forever to get out order and iteasnt right. But we finely got to leave. Oh yea,the hash rows was so over cooked I couldn't eat them to crispy and they just cooked one side never turned them over so they were hard as rocks couldn't eat them. My omelet also was overcooked and so dry with no taste and they left off my ham. I ate about half. A waste off money. Will never go back.
Service very slow ... had to look for server several times ... although she was very sweet. $4.99 for a few strawberries cut up is ridiculous!
Been going here of and on for the past few years, so this isn't about any specific incident, but I do have enough of them. All in all, the food quality has decreased, both in person and to go, the service has declined to a point where a lot of servers (not all, but enough to note) seem inconvenienced or confused over basic requests, such as missing order items or refills. Other locations seem to be better, so I'd suggest driving to another one before considering here.
Very upset with our experience. Ordered an app sampler and omelette, asked for the pancakes to go. Got our drinks and food (minus pancakes). We were never checked on, but server found time to check on other tables. Are what we could, he finally came around so asked for 2 boxes, a bag, and our pancakes. Brought back the boxes and bag, said the pancakes magically disappeared from the microwave, so he had more being made. Cool - or so I thought. 30 minutes of waiting later, no pancakes. So we left. No tip. I’ve been in the industry for 20+ years so I know - Serving is NOT hard, especially when it’s a slow night. This is not our first bad experience here. Won’t go back after this. This location is out of chances.
I got the cinnamon bun crêpes with the SADDEST looking "pieces" of sliced ham and 2 slices of bacon. I had went to an IHOP at the kickapoo casino and got the same thing there. They had given me a full slice of ham, and NOT the sorry a** slices this place gave me And the cinnamon sauce was filled barely halfway 0/10 would recommend this place
Didn’t get a chance to eat there. We walked in and there were so many gnats on every table and in the air. And the smell of sewage was very strong in the restaurant.
The food wasn't bad, the service and atmosphere poor. The servers and staff seem to be having a party in the kitchen area they were loud and using offensive language, laughing and very noisy singing. It's one thing to enjoy where you work but acting a fool and no respect for customers is not excusable. I will be contacting corporate. Shouldn't have to put up with this when you dine out. Apparently they have no management or the manager needs to be fired for not doing their job. The cook needs to learn how to do crispy hashbrowns, you crispy both sides at the very least. I will think twice before I come back here, should have gone to Denny's.
Pretty bummed after making a to go order and being charged prob like 2$ per side of avacado on top of the up charges for toppings. I guess it’s my fault for not checking the bag, but pretty sad for craving a 10$ hash brown that’s not right lol
I went here for my Christmas meal. Just got off of work and was hungry. The Buttermilk Chicken dish sounded amazing. Got some mozzarella sticks as an app. And thank God for that. Waited 30 minutes for my Luke warm mozzarella sticks and waited an additional 20 for my primary course. Well. For the low price of 32$, it eventually showed up. I think the picture says it all. Two pieces of overcooked dry chicken. 2 pieces of broccoli and some boxed mac & cheese. Save yourself the additional cost and just make this dish at home. At least I was seated quickly and the server was decent.. I probably won't be back. It was disappointing.

My family and I tipped 10 dollars beyond the 18% but I will say that our server was disappointing and lacking. I saw him on his phone on the side not making eye contact. We tried to flag him down but he was always quick to leave. I'm not gonna name names but his service was horrendous. The wife and I ordered the steak tips and eggs. The most expensive thing on the menu. Didn't get any pancakes, and my wife ordered eggs Sunnyside up. Instead, she got scrambled. We asked for our pancakes, and the waitress argued that the meal doesn't come with pancakes but on the menu lists that the meal comes with two pancakes. My family will never go to Ihop as long as we live. Good by Ihop!
Nasty. Floors are sticky, seats are caving in, and have roaches crawling out from them. Gnats are working over time to fly into your food or drink. There was a guy cussing out someone in the phone extremely loud and then coming back to the front of the building to smoke a blunt and stare into the restaurant as people were coming and going. Turns out the dude worked there because he came in and then walked into the kitchen, smelling like pot. Won't be going back. No wonder there's never anyone there. The employees in the kitchen were yelling and cussing each other in the back with kids in the front. This place definitely needs a surprise visit from higher up. The only upside is that when the waiters came to the table, they were friendly.
Not happy/satisfied with service or food. It took a half hour after being seated for a food server to come to our table period. Took about that long after ordering to get out food. My blueberry pancakes not even close to the picture. The blueberries in my pancakes was one big blob in the middle of the pancakes. My husband's & grandsons breakfast meal came with two bacon oooor two sausage. They both asked for the bacon & both each wanted two sausages. They both got ONE BACON & ONE SAUSAGE. My husbands toast was cold & hard. He asked for fresh hot toast...by the time the food server came with it he was pretty much done. There was 4 of us, all our pancakes/ meals were warm not hot. We had to ask for clean silverware 4 times. I had asked for a manager twice...no manager came. So ok...I paid my bill, rounding off to $72.00 & left no tip. And I believe in leaving a generous extra tip. We will NEVER eat there again.
The grease was obviously past due to be change which made the fried food too dark. The onion rings were very hard, beyond crispy, almost inedible. My mashed redskin potatoes were inedible. They tasted like instant, flake potatoes that had not been whipped together properly. The chicken was too dark and hard and too thin for that combo to work. Somehow, the meat inside (what little of it there was), was ok. The grill could use a good cleaning as well, our pancakes were proof of that. I did enjoy the broccoli, after adding butter and salt. My friend's recap of the meal at the table was that everything was greasy and all tasted the same. In the car, after we left, she said that the meal was gross. She was very hungry and that is the only reason she ate it. I have to agree. We also thought that the overall experience, service and cleanliness of the restaurant (my seat was lined with old food and the waiter was polite but that is the only thing nice I can say about our service) were, like the potatoes, just off.
Got the Egg white omelette it was full of grease looked like old Grease. Waitress offered up something else but my appetite was already gone.
Me and my family came here for a small birthday celebration. Our wait time for our food was over an hour for a table of 3. My husband ordered the Colorado omelette with sauté mushrooms. When we finally got our food his omelette had everything on the outside of the omelette and the mushrooms seem like it was an afterthought and it was not even cooked. The Service was ok not the best we had from this place. Definitely a disappointment.
Slippery floor, super nasty floors and tables. Only one server for half the restaurant, slow service but the biggest concern I had was how dirty the restaurant is. I would never visit this location again! Also I ordered a omelette and i got this: not sure if it's a omelette, scrambled eggs or what, this looks more like a kids plate. Disappointed!
I should have took more so y’all could see how many mold spots/leaks there were over the ceilings. We were visiting from Houston, and in the midst of my fiancé eating his food … y’all mildew water leaked from the ceiling into his food! Staff was great but conditions of restaurant was terrible, no locks on any of the doors in the women’s restroom also.
There were gnats everywhere. In the air, on the table, and on, the walls, it was terrible. If it it wasn't for the wonderful service provided by our server Abigail I would've given this location a 0. Abigail tried to accommodate us by moving us to another table but that didn't help the gnat problem. How can someone enjoy their meal when they're swatting away gnats? Management reall needs to address this. I will not be back.
Terrible! If you want eggs and pancakes, they have it! Anything else, is a 50/50. My family and I have gone 4xs over the weekend in the past 5/6 weeks and 3 of the 4 visits they didn’t have any ice cream for the Oreo shakes and this last time they didn’t have anything we wanted to drink! We asked for the Oreo shakes first, they didn’t have it, then we ordered pineapple lemonade and hot chocolate for our children, they didn’t have that either, also wanted mozz sticks, and guess what!? They don’t have them!! After the 3rd time being told “sorry, we don’t have that either” we just left. We will not be returning EVER to this location. Sadly, It doesn’t only effect the customers, as a result, the servers are also effected. The managers, or whoever does the ordering, need to be taught how to order accordingly!!!
Came on a late night.. truck had just arrived and the guy running the front was trying to make it happen… she was very nice but things too far too long Cook was doing everything but that.. walking outside and all through the restaurant and outside to some car .. all while having gloves on and never changing them.. then get pissy when I asked for them to change them… Avoid this place after 10
10/19/24-1:00pm - One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. 2 people. We waited 15min for someone to acknowledge us and take our drink order. Took 10min to bring the drinks, once we ordered it took 35min to get our food. Food room was temperature at best. The employees were playing, cussing, and almost fought at one point by the drink station Over an hour and 30$ later we left and never going back. I would 100% NOT recommend this place
Wow. Amazingly slow. Came in at 1230am and its 2am and still not recieved my food. Waiting still... waiting... and waiting maybe in 2021 we will receive our food. My assessment is that this is poor management, lack of employee motivation and microwaved pancakes. I mean really... your Ihop do better then microwaved pancakes. Ended up leaving. Did not bother to wait anymore. Plan better for new years or shut down.
I went in to have a dinner with my family but unfortunately me and my family had the worst experience as in the customer service was terrible other people were also upset due to the fact that we were served first when they were waiting before us and the food was not something we were able to consume the pancakes were soggy the eggs didn't taste right and we asked for to go cups and they gave us small cups child size and we paid $3.79 per cup when we saw someone else have larger to go cups they didn't give us silverware my little sister had to go get it from another but unfortunately they were dirty and our waitress Majestic never came to ask us if we needed refills or anything but she was quick to give us the check and expected us to give her a tip knowing she was no help to us at all my aunt is a strong believer to give tips since she worked in that industry but today was not the day to give out a tip so in conclusion will not be going back . Thank you.

I entered the restaurant, and was greeted rudely by waitress, I was seated, and the whole restaurant looks drab, and food was all over the floor. Dishes from guest who finished still on tables. Manager was sitting at booth, but abruptly got up and went into the kitchen in her phone. I left. This place needs to be remodeled, with new staff, or be shut down.
Worst IHOP in the city. This is the second time I try to go eat there and end up walking out. No greeting I was standing there for a few minutes until I was even acknowledged. Horrible people working there.
Walking in we were not welcomed nor assisted to a table for over 10 mins and then when finally seated we were asked by two different people if we were helped and one of them just came from “sitting” down at a table herself. After given drinks we then waited for 45 minutes and were finally greeted with our food, unfortunately though for me and my family the food was not great enough for the wait and the strawberries that were given to us were frozen. Now when we want our receipt we had to wave someone down to get our waiter since two people kept flip flop service.
My son's eggs were old and had been sitting and his pancake was half the normal size and undercooked! My turkey sandwich was disgusting and the turkey was slimy! Even after I pointed it out to the waiter I was still required to pay full price for meals we hardly touched! Awful and slow service and would not recommend this location ever to my worst enemy! Floors were filthy throughout the restaurant as well!!!
My mom ordered a omelette. The service was crappy. It took a while for the food to come out. There was nobody else in the restaurant, but me and my mom and my nieces at the time that we place the order it took up to 25 minutes to receive our food When we received our food. Some of it was OK that room wasn’t cold, but it wasn’t hot either my mother received an omelette. She was eating it found an egg showing in it when she had made a comment to the waitress about it. The waitress brought it up to the manager, and the waitress’s name was Gabriella, and when she brought it up to the manager, had the audacity to turn around and be out in the lobby, where we were and told her that they don’t use fresh eggs they use liquid egg right in front where we could hear as if he does if he was sitting there telling my mom that she was a liar and then he didn’t even come talk to us. He told the waitress just to take it off the ticket And then leave it at that because he was too busy sitting in the corner on his phone instead of doing his job it was very disrespectful. It was very rude. His adequate sucked. If you were a manager, you were to get up and you were to come apologize fix the issue and not talk back to the customer is very Rude And like I said the waitress didn’t even come by and refill our drinks. She didn’t come talk to us ask us if the meal was good if we needed anything or any of that she gave us. Our food gave us our drinks, and that was it and disappeared until the end to return the check after we had the issue and then she disappeared. She didn’t come back to the table instead of the Bus boy came over he cleaned up the table and cashed us out. That restaurant is I would not go there again. I wouldn’t even give it five stars. I would give it lower than one star the service was crappy the manager was crappy And I work in fast food or have worked in fast food so is my sister and the way that manager took care of the situation with inappropriate and it was unprofessional. You never sit there until your waitress where the customer can hear you that we don’t use fresh eggs, which is a lie because IHOP does use fresh eggs. It’s very unprofessional of that manager. He should not be holding his job so I would advise anybody not to go to the IHOP on FM 78 right across from the H-E-B unless you want crappy service
Pancake small , whole kitchen staff was really loud you can hear them outside of the kitchen. They longer give military discount to the family only to the person with the id. Unfortunately i don’t bring my kids id’s and i was unable to get their discounts. My total bill was over $100.00. After talking to the manager who just start and this was her first day. To the manager that was not on duty. They explain that corporate thinks that they are just giving out discount and they can’t do it. Will not be back every again
If, you enjoy being short changed on your meal then this is the place for you! The quality of service needs improvement. Servings do not come close to what they look like on the menu. I ordered the Colorado Omelette, like always and this time it had more egg that tasted overcooked and like a dirty grill, the egg even had a dark tint to it. It had no more than 15 shreds of cheddar cheese and the I could hardly find the meat. My husband’s pancakes were for the birds; they attempted to hide a way smaller pancake underneath a descent sized one. I could go on and on, but I think that by now you get the picture. So sad, because this place use to be the place.
Floor was wet my daughter fell on the floor and the floor had food and bugs on it still Bugs on the tables and bathroom was in terrible shape I will never return oh and the glass for drinks were not clean Very upset with my overall experience Definitely needs a deep cleaning and touch up
Our family had a really bad experience here. First off, we were really hungry so we stopped by. We had to wait, even though there were many table available and that wasn't even the worst part! The waitress wasn't really even a waitress, she was just a helper and she sat down at our table to take our order! We were so weirded out by this. My dad ordered a regular salad and it turns out it had a huge chunk of PLASTIC in the salad. EW. When we called in a supervisor he said "Ugh, I only came here from downtown to become manager." Then he looked at the salad and said "This is why I don't do salads". Really bad experience. Don't come here.
Waited 15 min for an employee/ host to get a seat. One eventually walked past saw us standing and still we waited 5 more minutes before deciding to just leave to go to another restaurant. Mind you there were only two tables seated and not a single employee in sight for almost 15-20 minutes.
Sat for 20 minutes not even one person came to take our order meanwhile they all were standing talking together. 10/10 would not recommend at all
When you try to go eat at IHOP on fm 78 and & the service was horrible before you even sat down to order because you were negatively profiled for using loyalty points (that were earned by paying for your previously ordered food): 1: No one is at the front to assist you for almost 10 minutes 2. When the wait staff (Majesty) finally comes (after you walk to the kitchen & say “hello”) they say “oohhh” and walked off 3. A manger (Will) comes out & says “I heard yall paid with loyalty points last time. Me (genuinely asking): what does that have to do with tonight? Him (very loud): It has everything to do with it Me (again genuinely asking): but what does that again have to do with tonight? Him (louder): It has everything to do with it because if yall can’t pay for your food AFTER using loyalty points then I CANT SERVE YOU Me: Excuse me? Who said we can’t pay for our food? By now my sister is fully vested in the conversation Her: What did you say? Me: I repeated the above statement Her: I know lying 😡…. Immediately requested the manager (which we were told she’s not here & not available) He calls his manager on the phone….. We leaving cause I’M NOT BUYING NOTHING WHERE I’M NOT WANTED & LIED ON! We went back in because well an explanation as to why the assumption we can’t pay for our food was made…. Will: I’ll be honest I never met yall before (which is a lie cause I’ve paid out with him before) Me: you “never met us before” but yet you made an assumption that we can’t pay for a $6 meal; which I was indeed going to pay for with cash & NOT loyalty points 🙄 Will: I’m so sorry, another manager told me that Me: so instead of serving us, you made an assumption that WE can’t pay & btw I have 40 loyalty points that would’ve paid for my meal tonight My sis: Isn’t that what loyalty points are for to get free food for being a loyal customer Will: Again I’m so sorry, are you going to place an order Me: no thank you because I can’t trust my food won’t be tampered with at this points. This was very rude, embarrassing, distasteful and very disappointing because we frequently eat at this location & now I don’t know if I’ll ever go back.
Got there. Waited 5-7 minutes with only people waiting to be seated to even start taking the order. Took 5 minutes to order 1 burger with jalapeños and bacon. Was told was a 15 minute wait. Waited 44 minutes while another man took about 10 minutes of waiting just to order. Got home and the burger was good. Except it didn't have the jalapeños or bacon. Should have known better, 3rd or 4th time going there since it took over the Villige Inn and every time was this disappointing. There won't be a 5th.
This has probably been my worst IHOP experience ever. The server was just ok, he never came to ask us for water refills or brought us the check. The female hostess/server was walking around with see through pants on with holes and her crop top was a few sizes too small. Very unprofessional and the bathrooms were disgustingly dirty. Won’t ever come there and eat again.
The employees were cordial. Very long wait time waiting 45 mins for dasher order.maybe if the employees wouldn’t peek around corners stalling, time would have been faster.not even a complimentary drink.
We visited this location for lunch on Christmas Eve and were very disappointed with the experience. While eating my steak tips with broccoli and mashed potatoes, I noticed visible mold on the broccoli. I did not make a scene or ask for a discount; I simply stopped eating and pushed my plate aside. When I went to the register, I informed our waitress, Brittany, about the issue so the kitchen would be aware that the produce had gone bad and should not be served to customers. Brittany was sincere, apologetic, and handled the situation professionally. She went to get a manager to remove the item from our ticket. Unfortunately, the manager (a shorter, bald gentleman who did not introduce himself) came over, did not acknowledge me, and did not apologize for the moldy food. He simply entered his code and removed $0.27 from the ticket. The lack of concern, accountability, and basic customer service was shocking and discouraging. We are a family who frequently visits our neighborhood IHOP on Hot Wells and have never experienced anything like this. This visit was extremely disappointing, and we will not be returning to this location. In hindsight, I wish I had read the Google reviews before choosing to dine here.
We went and were seated very quickly I got a tea and my friend got a water, my tea was sour so I asked for a water which never got brought out. It came time for us to order the server brought receipt paper to take our order we ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer I ordered chicken strips and fries and my friend ordered the steak burger with bacon. My chicken strips came out with the cheese sticks my friends food did not come out with my meal. And I was still waiting on my water. My fries were cold chicken strips over cooked and the mozzarella sticks were both crispy and soggy. I had gravy with my chicken strips the server brought the gravy out about 10 minutes before the meal arrived. We ended up walking out. Poor service and poor food quality. And when is it acceptable to wear leggings and crocs in a food establishment.
Our server was not good at all. She wasn’t personable , we had to wait wayyyyyy too long for our meal. She continued to pass us up without any status updates on our breakfast. Natalie G. Was her name . Her people skills are way off
Horrible 1st the waiter gave me cold coffee, then dropped my food on the floor, I was.like okay thats fine accidents happen. Then we I finally got my food, the middle of my blueberry pancakes were not cooked in the middle, the utensils she gave me were dirty looked like someone mouth was on the spoon and the fork still had what looked like strawberry on it, and when I showed her and asked for clean utensils she rolled her eyes and gave me plastic ones.
I walked into IHOP with my autistic son expecting a normal meal, and instead got one of the most unprofessional experiences I’ve ever dealt with. One server started yelling and flat-out refusing to take our table, right in front of my kid. Completely unacceptable. My son was overwhelmed, and I was shocked by the behavior. What really blew my mind is that I even heard that same server yell at Rose — the ONLY server who actually stepped up to help us — just because she was told you can’t refuse people. That kind of attitude has no place in customer service. The only good part of this visit was Rose. She took care of us, showed respect, and made the experience better when it could’ve been a total mess. Management needs to get their staff under control and appreciate employees like Rose who actually do their job. I won’t be coming back unless things change.
My husband ordered eggs Benedict. They did not include the sauce. They did not toast the English muffin. When we asked for this to be fixed they did not. They offered no compensation even though they did not give us what we ordered. Will never eat here again. Do Not Recommend. The pictures are of my steak omlette. The eggs were dry and the steak was grisly.
Worst meal ever 😔 if you want crappy service by a waitress with a crappy attitude to serve you crappy food this is your place to be. Hard pancakes with Luke warm coffee and the eggs of my!!!!bacon was the best part of the meal. My poor grandbaby started throwing up right there at the table. So sad this IHOP used to be pretty good. I only gave them a 1 star because there was nothing lower. My god someone need to mop that nasty sticky floor
Wow... where to start? I realize we rolled in on a Monday afternoon, but my goodness. With an empty restaurant, with one other couple, it took forever for our food to come out. Once it did, everything but the omelet was barely warm and rubbery. The bacon was burnt. The toast was cold and dry and couldn't melt butter any more than the pancakes could. The hashbrowns were so rubbery you couldn't cut them with a fork. The omelet was edible, despite the only cheese option being cheddar. The waitress did not check on us once. But the manager was the icing on the cake. That was some of the worst service I have received, ever. We left barely touched plates, pictured below, and got not one word of apology. This was a night and day difference from the IHOP we went to in Schertz yesterday. Then, when we went to pay, and asked for a manager, he was literally rude about it. I don't if that was in part because the person checking out in front of us was also very unhappy, or if he just hates his job that much. So we got curt, rude "service," and a 50% discount on our uneaten meals. His parting jab? "Have the day you deserve." Wow, bro, you too. Don't worry, we won't be back.
★1 star Branch needs urgent attention - unpleasant smell, dirty windows, and slow service. I visited this IHOP location and was immediately struck by a strange, unpleasant odor as I walked in. The windows were noticeably dirty, making the entire place feel poorly maintained. It took 20 minutes just to place my order, and another 40 minutes for my food to arrive - with no explanation or update from the staff. This experience was disappointing and far from what I expect from IHOP. I hope management audits this location soon. Cleanliness and basic service standards need serious improvement.
I wish I could leave 0 stars... We arrived at 12:30 pm hungry and ready for food - we got seated, and Shane (I think that's his name) took our drink orders, then our food orders: 2 breakfast samplers and a side of pancakes. We got our drinks, only to find the glasses were dirty after already drinking from them. We were not acknowledged after our order was taken - no refills, no updates on food coming out, nothing. The server and other employees walked past us many times, not even bothering to check-in. After about 30 minutes with no updates, we watched as people who got seated AFTER us were already eating their meals; others were even paying for their food and leaving already. After waiting over an hour for food, we left at about 1:50 pm. Even though I would've rather just left without paying, we went up front to pay for our drinks simply because I didn't want legal trouble. The lady up front apologized for the experience and let us go without having to cover the drinks. Very displeased with this experience, and we will not be returning here. We got better service from the McDonalds next door.
My server Emily was amazing. But the food not so much. I received a pile of cold steak and eggs. I thought I had ordered an omelet. It had very little cheese, and the meat was cold. I was happy with my server as she did an amazing job. I just saw how busy everyone was and after the food taking over 40 min to come out I didn’t want to send it back. I just have never had an experience like this before at this ihop.
