Awesome locally owned cafe in Downtown Winters! They roast their own coffee beans and have a great selection of salad, sandwiches, and wraps! They also have signature hot and cold drinks to enjoy throughout the year! The staff are really awesome and helpful! There is a decent amount of seating both inside and outside the cafe! Indoors you can expect to seat a group of 6 comfortably Definitely a nice little spot if you're around in the city of Winters!
Cool spot to stop at while cycling in from Davis or Sacramento. Hard to give less than 5 stars on each category. The employees are nice and helpful. They carry coffee, tea, sodas, Gatorade, and WINE!!!!! They are very cycling friendly and have bike racks out front. To other reviewers STOP complaining about rising prices, you'll get writers cramp. Prices are going up everywhere as suppliers and forced minimum wage increases are squeezing the owners. As a former business owners for many years and markets I feel sorry for any small business owner in California.
How could I have gone to UC Davis, graduated, and stayed a couple years before going to grad school, but never ended up in Winters? I'm so glad I finally made it here on a training ride today. We saw the bike racks at Steady Eddy's and had stop in. If we didn't have more miles to go, we would have stayed for a nice meal, but I only got a refreshingly YUMMY pineapple-mango smoothie. The staff was super friendly, too! This place defintely warrants a few return visits on more cycling adventures and leisurely drives in the area.
Super cute. Favorite of the bikers. Was pretty busy but they were really fast. We ordered The chicken pesto panini and the ham and Swiss panini and both were great. The lemon poppyseed loaf was really moist.
Best coffee in town! Friendly local place with the BEST baristas, inventive lattes (Mayan Mocha, please), and good food. They have non coffee drinks, including beer, too! Warm, welcome place where people gather and talk as much as have coffee and eat :-)
First time here and will come back as I had a great first impression. Met fishing guide here and was just expecting avg coffee shop. This place is technically a coffee shop, but so much more. The menu selection is amazing & the home made options of baked goods was just kind boggling. My friend's had breakfast wraps & burritos, and I had a toasted bagel. All of our food was as tasty as it looked. However the warm friendly service is what takes this place to another level. I felt more like being at home with family than the average out of town coffee shop experience.

This place has great indoor and outdoor seating. It's a popular small town coffee shop. Even when its busy, they get your order correct and fairly quick. The staff is always friendly. Also there's a park across the street, so sometimes I take my coffee and avocado toast to the park.
Love their iced toffee coffee! It even has bits of toffee inside, and I haven’t been able to find this commitment to toffee flavor anywhere else. I also order their veggie melt on a tortilla—the pesto and cream cheese inside make for an absolutely delicious addition to a wholesome bite.

Right around the corner is a fancy hotel, with a supposedly fancy restaurant and brunch. This is soooo much better! The food is great! The service folks are super nice and its warm atmosphere is very welcoming to out of towners and townies alike! Chef's kiss!

This place was full which is always a good sign. We came here for brunch and had a couple of sandwiches and a coffee. Price wise it was a bit expensive in my opinion but the food was very tasty. They have outdoor seating and you can order ahead online or take out for delivery. You can always enjoy you meal in the park right opposite the buildung. Staff was friendly too. I wish they had more options in the menu though.

boy, I have been going to steady's for a long time to eat breakfast. this is my usual half way point for my road trips on my bike to refuel and rest for a bit. I used to like their food but lately the quality has declined and prices risen. putah creek cafe across from steady's seems to be a better choice now, prices are about the same and food is better quality.
Waste of $30 for lunch. We ordered to go and picked up the order without checking the bag - bad choice they didn't put in the sides we paid for. The sandwich was gross - a couple teaspoons of meat, brown lettuce with the core, and a microfilm of accompaniments. Skimpy would be an overstatement. No taste and didn't feel right after eating. Never again go somewhere else.
Order the sandwich with macaroni salad on the side And the sandwich was on 2 slices of sourdough it's a sourdough with hardly anything in the middle and the side of macaroni salad was in a condiment container... Lunch for 2 costed $38... 2 pricey, Misleading, Side is not a true side, And sandwich could have been made at home For a beautiful price of 0. Sandwich was 2 slices of Salvador bread 3 deli slices of turkey of turkey 1 tomato 1 bacon and 3 small slices of avocado. When I received my sandwich I could not see anything inside I had to pull apart the 2 slices of bread to see that there was turkey and et cetera inside. Macaroni salad was placed in a very small condiment container. You know the sea thru clear kind that Denny's would put syrup in... Food is not worth the cost.
