Avis sur Khan Tong Thai Kitchen Woodside
Small intimate setting with excellent service! The food is made when you order it so it’s guaranteed fresh and steaming hot. Absolute gem of a restaurant and definitely a place to revisit (as my wife and I did on our trip to NYC). Highly recommend the Pad Thai, beef and broccoli and chicken fried rice!
Often order take out & delivery from here. The food is cooked well & quickly, and prices are reasonable. Especially their lunch specials. Pad kee mao (drunken noodles) are great here. Delivery is very fast too! And they can take card over the phone so you don’t have to deal with cash.
The green curry is amazing. This spot actually makes it spicy (if you want it that way).
Great taste Authentic Thai cuisine, owned by Thai Lady Mrs. Khan Tong. Her cooking was amazed by my visit there, enjoying her special Fresh Manggo Salad with shrimp, cashew nut, lettuce with special sweet n sour dressing. I also tried her fish ball soup, pad Thai, and her curry. All was delicious 😋 Will come back again soon. Thank you for your friendly hospitality serving me 😃🙏👍👍👍👍👍
Favorite Thai Place in Queens! So happy that they were open for dine in and take out! Highly recommend their Pad See Ew & Pad Thai ❤️ Their appetizers are really good too, absolutely love their curry puff, spring roll and fried thai dumplings (I always pick the ground chicken option) 😍
It doesn't look like much when you first enter but the vibe is very homey. You feel like you are part of the family. The service is excellent and the food is like having a home cooked meal at mom's house.
My 2nd time having Thai food in NY! Their tom yum is on the sweeter side but still tasty. I really enjoyed their pad kee mao with chicken 😋 everything is reasonably priced. Will definitely need to go back and try more food!
Very nice food. I ordered a fried flat wide noodles with shrimp. The seasoning is on point not super spicy but boost your appetite greatly. Service was good too. Will come back! (Photos taken while eating. )
A small yet cozy Thai restaurant at 57-17 Roosevelt Avenue, Woodside. I ordered their Crispy Pork Belly with Chinese Broccoli, it was delicious! A little salty but still yummy! Price is okay. Service is good!
Very delicious Thai home cooking. It feels and tastes very authentic, super yummy. You won't regret coming here! ❤️
Little places often have big tastes and this place isn’t the exception. I got the Tom Kha and chicken satay. The Tom Kha is creamy and a little tart just like I like it. The chicken satay has the two sauces, the peanut and the sweet sour sauce. I was not disappointed!
Best Thai food in NYC! Their tilapia rad prik, Thai iced tea, and appetizers are incredible. Food is always fresh, and portions are huge! Great for takeout or dine in.
They a small dine in but the best chicken curry puffs, chicken satay and spring rolls I tasted 😋

Absolutely delicious!! Went 2x in one week once we found this gem. Can't wait to go back and highly recommend it for anyone who is looking for Thai food that is authentic, flavorful, reasonably priced, and amazing in each bite! So far we have tried the mango salad, pad chicken woonsen, Thai basil fried rice, crab rangoon, curry puff, and mango sticky rice. All confidently 20/10
I’ve always eaten here since I’ve moved to Woodside almost 3 years ago and it’s the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had around NYC!! Staff is very accommodating too!
I’m a frequent customer here and happy to find this spot in the neighborhood. It’s a no frills place but the home-cooked taste hits the spot. It’s has become one of my go-to spots since my kids love it here too. I occasionally order catering for school events and small gatherings and it’s always a hit.
When a restaurant peeled the chinese broccoli skin out for Kana Moo Krob dish, it s a sign showing that they care about what they serve, great attention to details!

Tiny, hole in the wall place that serves delicious home cooked Thai food. We had the wonton cheese bites as an appetizer and I tried their tofu miracle. I don't know what the miracle was supposed to be but my food was just very good - tofu, mushrooms, sprouts, and white rice. Everything seemed reasonably priced and they also had homemade coconut and lychee ice cream, which unfortunately we did not get to try this time. I do wish their menu was a bit more clear in regards to what is vegan/vegetarian friendly. I know Thai food often has fish sauce so it'd be nice to know what's safe to get without having to quiz the server each time.
The food was pretty affordable and refreshing. I got the duck salad, I was very surprised they how much duck they put in was a decent amount. The pad see yew was also pretty good, not as greasy as I have had at other thai restaurants. Would highly recommend

The Shrimp Tom Yum is very good. They give a good portion of shrimp and loads of mixed vegetables in the quart size. Other Thai restaurants I've been to give a lot fewer shrimp and maybe a few sliced mushrooms, cilantro, green and/ or yellow onion slices and not more in a quart size. The Ginger Beef is very tasty, and I'm told the Pad Thai is good. One complaint is the salmon should be grilled or lightly sauteed in Thai seasoning before being incorporated into the fried rice. Whole filet would work, however cut into smaller sections or large cubes would be easier to handle on your fork. Take service was reasonable and the atmosphere is not bad few a small take out restaurant style restaurant with a few tables. There were approximately a company of 7-8 people eating family style when I was there last. 'I believe they had a pretty selective menu with specials that change and the prices are reasonable
I ordered pickup today, and when I got home and opened the to-go bag, I seriously had to ask myself—were these portions meant for elementary school kids? There were literally 10 pieces of small slice of beef in each order. I ordered the lunch special Beef Green Curry and another dish I can’t even remember, both around $14. Each came with rice and salad or soup. The taste was fine, no complaints there. But the portion size? Absolutely not worth the price. This is Woodside, not LIC, don’t price like you’re serving skyline views. To my opinion, considering the portion this should only cost max at $9.5. It’s 4pm and I already felt hungry. If I knew this was a kids portion, I would’ve gone to the Chinese takeout near by and get something that really worth the money I paid.
