We left our last Airbnb at Menlo Park this morning at about 10:30am this morning and headed to Woodside to check out a couple of places. Our first stop was at Village Hub Coffee Bar. Located next to Woodside Village Church, there is a nice little garden where you can grab a coffee and enjoy the little alfresco area here. You can see different species of trees and birds while sipping on a cuppa here. We ordered the Cortado and Chai Latte for $10. S definitely had a huge impact on us in terms of coffee – having concocted our own affogato last night and enjoying a cortado this morning, reminisce of the excellent cortados we had in Aarhus, just a couple of months back. It was actually quite nice to enjoy the cool weather of about 20 degrees Celsius while immersing in the everyday life of the community. There were a couple of tables being occupied while we were here. Mostly by retirees since it was a Thursday morning... Very nice vibes during a sunny Sunday morning. Sweets were excellent and provided by a local bakery. Coffee well prepared and tasty with good options. Funny how this place was filled with bikers on a Sunday morning.
Stunning spot, run by a great group of people. Nothing short of 5 stars all around. Keep up the great work!
This is my favorite coffee shop in South Bay. The setting under the trees and next to the church is peaceful. Lattes are good and bread/pastries are okay. EDIT: They upped their pastry game, there are more options and are more flavorful.
I found their vanilla latte to be too bitter, but the experience of sipping it in their garden made it enjoyable. Real quaint cafe with plenty of outdoor seating and ambient vibes. They offer your classic cafe drinks, as well as local items for sale like honey and beans. I appreciated how eco friendly they are, with coffee mugs to borrow and bamboo straws, and even used coffee grounds for free to compost in your garden. Limited parking (handful of cars) and some street parking available.
Cute cafe with lots of outdoor seating area! pastries are ok and limited options coffee is good limited parking
Kimmy and I wondered to Woodside for coffee ☕️ break. We decided to stop here. Actually church with a coffee shop. Only outdoor seating. We loved it. Great coffee ☕️ and pastries 🍰. Ample seating area and doggie friendly. Highly recommend 👌. Kimmy gives two paws 🐾 up.
Exceptional coffee shop, delicious matcha next to a phenomenal community center
Special gem of a place with excellent coffee and the BEST almond croissant I’ve ever had!
Really great outdoors spot to have coffee. We stopped by village bakery to pick up a pastry and then had cappuccinos sitting under an umbrella on the lawn. John is really friendly and makes a great espresso drink. Highly recommend.
Very nice cozy garden coffee shop surrounded by big trees provide shade. There are about more than 50 folks sit chairs. Revisited and it's still wonderful spot for a cup of coffee with lots of tables.
Delicious drinks, appreciate that they don’t charge extra for oat milk, and love the ambiance! I got an iced oat matcha latte with lavender and would highly recommend it :)
Always a great coffee and selection of cakes/cookies. It's nice finding something different at the cake counter most visits but having the consistency of the coffee. Lots of local produce for sale including honey and coffee beans. Friendly staff and plenty of outside seating 😎☕🍪
Been riding at wood side for many years and this is the first time I stopped here for coffee. Plenty of cyclist here and great coffee and they have Cortado which is my favorite.
I enjoyed the coffee at The Village Hub Coffee Bar and Garden this morning. The coffee was delicious, and the atmosphere of the coffee shop was warm and inviting. It was a great way to start the day.
A charming little coffee shop just down the street from the Woodside "downtown" area and next to the Woodside Library. There are so many nice places to sit/read/work and enjoy the beautiful weather. Friendly service and reasonable prices. I'll definitely be back!
Super cute place to rest, coffe, tea pastries nice peoples. Friendly a place to sit meditate and enjoy the beautiful things that surroubd your life. A sidewalk cafe or Rest Caffe its portion of an eating or drinking place, located on a public sidewalk, that provides waiter or waitress service" planning regulations the area used solely for dining. Sidewalk cafes are of two types: enclosed and unenclosed, the former being surrounded by a 1-story structure and the latter being an area of the sidewalk that contains removable tables, chairs, and railings.
The cutest little outdoor cafe, in the patio of the church. There are so many tables around to sit at, lots of shade from umbrellas and trees too. Their coffee was really yummy, and they have mugs and reusable straws to use. The pastries looked delicious, and all the drinks could be made with dairy free milk. I love how environmentally friendly they were, and so cute!!

Beautiful patio for coffee and a laugh. Or a spiral into your journal over yogurt. Right next to the library, picked up a few books and came over here for a few hours. Was picture perfect, time stopped. 10/10 would return. ❤️
This is a wonderful post run or mid bike snack stop. There are great seating options, solid drinks, and the BEST pastries. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
What's better than a cup of coffee under the trees? A great cup of coffee and a tasty pastry in a lovely garden setting! This place has the best coffee, and the vibe is on point. 5 stars!!!

Great place for coffee and pastries. I had a very well made macchiato and the cinnamon morning bun was delicious. Service is a little slow but that is okay. The whole place exudes a mellow atmosphere to be savored without rush.
Hands down best espresso on the peninsula. This is a big statement I know but really it’s excellent. Baristas are wonderful, beans are the bomb. But I actually come here for the atmosphere, which is saying something. Not a place to sit in front of your laptop. It’s entirely outside, calming, social atmosphere and great to bike to. Extremely creative milks and flavors; this month it was home made horchata, and Vietnamese corn milk which I didn’t even know about but now it’s my favorite thing with 2 shots. Great community spot and all kinds of excellent. I selfishly hesitated leaving this review because their parking is limited but I figure they earned it even if it means I can only ride my bike here because there is no parking. Tasty local and gourmet pastry offerings when they have them. Wish they had more gluten free stuff but it won’t stop me from coming every chance I get. Don’t come if you’re in a rush it isn’t that kind of place.
Great ambiance and ultra clean restrooms in an open area under the canopy of trees. We ordered a macchiato, a chai latte with shot of lavender that literally felt like tasteless and no flavor. Not sure what went wrong, however the ambiance and service was good.
