Francisco gave us one of the best dining experiences! He made sure we were happy about everything!! Food is delicious!
Best food in town. Steak Grilled woth pepper and onions. The menudo soup 🍲. Delicious. Handmade tortillas. There special salsa. Best atmosphere and customer service. Friendly
Came here for breakfast and they had live music! The food is great and i will definitely return when I am in santa ana again. Carnitas taste amazing.
Absolutely great food!! Every time we are in the area this is a must stop restaurant. Fabulous service, this place has a good selection of people to work with as a customer. Dishes also show the dedication that cooks put into the food. We have eaten here in many occasions and planning to eat here again . Hand made tortillas!!!
Really good and fresh food. The flour tortilla was not fried thankfully like the places in AZ do.The salsas given to us were really good and actually spicy. Both my wife and I thought it was great portions at a decent price. She had the bacon breakfast burrito and I had the asada breakfast burrito. Excellent service we were tired and hungry after getting off a flight. The waiter hooked me up with a tasty Mexican coffee. Thank you guys! We'll be back again.
Never cared to leave a review but this one deserves it. Customer service was great! Server was a nice & helpful guy, our food got there quick. Very attentive and the food was DELICIOUS!!! Tortillas are handmade, tacos were huge with lots of asada in them and the salsa was BOMB too! My husband had a wet burrito with the 2 salsas(red/green) and it was a great size and also delicious. Everything in the burrito was spread out evenly, with each bite you were able to taste every ingredient that was in it. Worth the price. Definitely coming back.
If the customer service didn’t make you happy a tummy full of AUTHENTIC MEXICAN food WILL! I recently started working in the area and was desperate to find good Mexican food nearby. Taqueria Zamora offers delicious food and a great “right-at-home” environment; perfect for lunch out with friends/co-workers or a quick taco fix while on-the-go! Cheers and provecho mi gente!
This place is just nice and my waiter Sergio had the best attitude that I've seen in a long time and very helpful. I had three tacos which were Birria, 2 AL Pastor an Lengua. All very freshly made with hand made tortillas, and you put some of that spicy green salsa.
It's them homemade tortillas that keeping it 💯. Tacos are a little on the pricy side. But are made to cure your craving 4 sure. The green salsa that's chunky mocajete style is GAS!! IT WILL talk to you at 3am. If you know what I mean. It's spicy and delicious 😋. I rate the carne asada tacos 8/10. To get Uma solid 10 would require cooking the carne on carbon. The table service here es al 💯
Food was ok. One of guys that ordered water only got 1 glass of water. We had 5 people in our party. Gratuity was added when it was clearly stated that parties 6 or more would have Gratuity added then Pretty shady if you ask me. We will bot return to this establishment!
So... Ended up here because it's not far from my hotel for the night. Google said most people spend under $20. That means most people don't get combo plates here. I included (mostly viewable) pictures of the menu for you. Even a burrito can get close to $20. Chips were good. It went down hill from there. When I got there, there were three guys working on a bucket of coronas. Clearly not their first bucket. And me. By myself. When a party of five came in, I got zero attention from the server. There was only one server but he shouldn't have been overwhelmed by a party of five, three guys he was ignoring drinking their beer, and me. I got a flour tortilla chicken quesadilla, extra crispy. They got the order right but it just didn't have any flavor. So I dipped it in the salsa, and asked for a small side of guac. He brought it out a small container of pureed avocado. Not a great experience. With all of the dive taco shops in Southern California, there's no real reason to go back to one with mediocre food and poor service.
Food 2 stars, service gives it a full star as the server couldn’t have been friendlier. He brought us chips and salsa (both spicy - the green salsa has habaneros in it) while we waited and even provided a drink refill. Tacos - $6 per carne asada taco seems steep. The tacos were large & served with onion & cilantro on a homemade tortilla. Just average. Quesadilla - my son wanted a cheese quesadilla so that’s what we ordered. Instead, we received a chicken quesadilla which he wouldn’t eat. I can only comment on the portion size which was plentiful. Chicken enchiladas - $23 served with green sauce, Mexican rice and beans. Beans were decent and topped w Cotija cheese. Enchiladas themselves were just ok, nothing remarkable about them. Camarones a la diabla - for $29 I expected more than 6 shrimp. Served with hard, dried, plain white rice. The beans were ok but the shrimp were tough and rubbery, a sign of being over cooked. Also, I must note that I love love love spicy food. The spice level on this dish was a 10 on a scale of 1-10. Nose running, eyes watering, tongue tingling. Almost unbearable. The dish was served with 3 homemade tortillas which were the best part of the meal. All in all, great service for mediocre Mexican food. They’ve been around since 1992 (according to their wall) and are remodeling their main entrance. Probably a quick option if you work in the area but not worth driving out of your way for.
The birria was amazing. Went per recommendation for birria de chivo. Great serving w/all the toppings. My only disappointment was the homemade tortillas. I was so looking forward to them, however, they had a sour taste to them. Not sure if they were spoiled, or too much of an ingredient. I don't live nearby and they were closing, otherwise would probably have gone back. Food overall is authentic. Friendly staff. I'll give it another try some time.
Poor customer service. The waiter kept walking away. There are better places with better prices. I will not return and don't recommend.
