This wasn’t my first visit to this humble but excellent restaurant and can confirm that it won’t be the last! Food and service were spot on. Our server (I believe her name was Ari) was always there with a refill and to check in with us. Such a sweet lady! I had the fajitas and my wife had tacos and we split a margarita which was delicious!

We were last here for lunch on a Sunday and it was a little too quiet. However, Tuesday night dinner is much better. Enjoyable atmosphere, nice music, excellent service. My wife and I had there Blackberry margarita which was excellent. Their ceviche is good and flavorful, an excellent appetizer. Their parillada is more than enough for 2 and very flavorful with an large mix of beef chicken mahi mahi in large shrimp. Awesome sauteed onions and peppers. $60+ for drinks, appetizer, and a large shared meal. Check out breakfast also...delicious and reasonably priced. Pls check my photos...

Great food. It is one of the few places to find enchiladas de mole, and I love it! Family atmosphere: this location is better for family gatherings. The service is excellent, and you can enjoy authentic Mexican food.

My husband I just love this place and we come once a week at the very least. The food is delicious but our favorite dishes are, tortilla soup, chicken fajitas, Tampico, Chicharones, taco salad, queso fundido, cafe Cancun! I love coming to this restaurant. The food is spectacular. I always get the tacos Birria and the chicken quesadilla. The margaritas are phenomenal! It’s just a quick 10-minute drive from Bal Harbour, the staff is always friendly, and the service is consistently excellent. The margaritas are strong — just how they should be — and the food is authentically delicious!

Visited El Rancho Grande Mexican Restaurant about two weeks ago and it was a decent experience. The place was packed but nevertheless we were seated quickly. Once inside, our server Ally was super kind, offered some great suggestions, and was incredibly accommodating. My boyfriend is vegetarian, so usually when we go out to eat it’s difficult for him to find some options. Ally suggested a few items and was very thoughtful for asking if any of us in the group were vegan. That little bit of mindfulness went a long way. As far as the food goes, the enchiladas were decent, the margaritas were tasty, the veggie fajitas were yummy, but overall the food was just a bit above your standard Mexican joint. Don’t get me wrong the food was great and it is definitely worth a visit, but I wasn’t blown away. I would rate the food 4 stars and the service 5. All in all a wonderful experience and a must if you’re looking for good Mexican food without having to drive to Homestead.

The place is very nice to come in with family and service is pretty good. What is ordered was the following: Chips / Salsa and guacamole 10/10 the salsa was pretty good as well as the guacamole. Birria tacos were ok I’ll say 7/10 birria caldo was a bit too salty. Chicken Fajita 7/10 (My date had this ) i will also give her a 7 out of 10 🤷🏽‍♂️ any ways…. Shrimp tacos is definitely not their specialty it was not bad is just plain shrimp with pico de gallo and lettuce, I actually like it is a pretty light option, I’ll give it a 7/10. Overall good experience will need to try more of the other dishes

I have come to this restaurant several times. I like it because in addition to the tables inside it has several tables to eat outside as well. The food is well prepared and the drinks are good. In general the service has always been acceptable. My favorite plate is tacos, especially tacos al pastor. I love the guava margarita, it's very refreshing. And without a doubt the churros with ice cream are the most delicious dessert 😋 Do you want to know a curious fact and what I think is great about the restaurant? In the bathrooms there is mouthwash so when you finish eating you leave with good breath in your mouth 😊. I love it. This was an okay experience! Food was average... chicken was a little dry which is why only 4 stars! The service was good or I would've put only 3 stars. The hot sauces are really good. If there is a next time I will try something different as the tosttadas were just okay.

We recently had a fantastic experience at El Rancho Grande Mexican restaurant in Kendall that we highly recommend. The decor of the place was charming and added to the overall vibe of the restaurant. Since the weather was great, we decided to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful day. As soon as we sat down, our waitress greeted us warmly and handed us the menus. She also took our drink orders promptly. We were delighted to find that the margaritas were pretty good. I chose the mango margarita, while my sister chose the passion fruit. Both were equally delicious and refreshing. We started our meal with queso fundido with chorizo and the antojitos sampler platter. Both appetizers were delicious and well-presented. The queso fundido had a perfect balance of cheese and chorizo, and the sampler platter had a good variety of flavors and textures. For our main course, my sister and I ordered the steak chimichanga, which was cooked to perfection and packed with flavors. Our cousin had the pollo con mole, which was also very good and flavorful. Overall, we were impressed with the food quality and presentation, and we highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great Mexican dining experience. The only downside we experienced was the parking situation, as it can be a bit challenging to find a spot since the restaurant is in a shopping plaza. There's an Aldi next door that attracts a lot of traffic. However, if you are patient enough to look for a spot, you will find more parking on the other end of the shopping plaza.

El Rancho Grande is a nice neighborhood Mexican restaurant. It's casual and inviting, and our food was quite good, especially the guacamole. I had the beef fajitas, which were very good and not overcooked. One issue however, my wife doesn't eat beef or pork and ordered the Chicken Chimichanga, she was served one containing beef. Fortunately she discovered the error before eating a bite. It was quickly replaced but it was careless of the kitchen to send it out. The staff was friendly but communication can be difficult if you don't speak Spanish. All in all, we would recommend this restaurant to friends and will go back.

Second time here, not as good as the first. The fish tacos were not seasoned, or needed some more. Birria tacos were good as well as the carne asada. Guacamole was ok. Needed more chips to finish the guacamole. Maricel's service was impeccable. Very attentive.

Ceeam of Elote soup is a must! Simply delicious. Good margaritas and mojitos drinks. Fresh complimentary tortilla chips. Chile poblano and carne tampiqueña very good. Fajitas are generous and the soft corn tortillas the way to go with the fajitas. Small place so it can get packed fast but very good experience overall. They have also outside tables for al fresco dine but the view will be just the sidewalk of this local strip mall. Good place to eat and have some drinks.

Was having an amazing time! Till the manager comes to ask not us to vape. No one around, not even inside, no kids, no one. Sitting outside more than 10 feet from the door. Manager is not only outside , but 3 stores down on a personal call. I’m floored! Would have spent more but this was ridiculous.

To be honest, this place was fine, but the service was kind of meh, the taco salad was just okay, and the servings were on the smaller size. Also, there are no complimentary chips and salsa - they cost $5. All in all, this place was way too expensive. Taco salads with ground beef are $17, and a taco salad with 6 shrimp was $22. With one margarita and 2 sodas, and with tip, the lunch bill for three was $100.

So disappointed with this mexican restaurant, the food was extremely salty. The queso fundido description did not match the presentation at all the worst queso fundido ever. The chicken soup was extremely salty and the steak nachos but there was not enough chips at all, it was more like a salad nachos. Will not come back here not worth the price and service.

Bad experience. Super noisy. Service very bad. 20 minutes waiting for a waitress to give me my check. Horrible experience. Food was good and good flavor. But it’s not worth it.

This restaurant is overpriced for what you get. The dish I ordered was very greasy and salty. It was 8 tiny pieces of beef and exactly 5 pieces of shrimp. It was mostly just onions. On top of everything else, the added 18% tip on the bill was another negative part of the experience. The refried beans were not Mexican; they were black beans! Also, there are no drink refills. All Mexican restaurants I have visited give you free chips and salsa as a courtesy but that is not the case at this place. This was my first visit and my last.

We ordered chips and guacamole off the happy hour menu for $8. When the bill came we were charged $15. I brought this to the servers attention and she explained we were served the full sized version off the regular menu. I didn’t order off the regular menu and I felt they should adjust the price accordingly. No such luck with her or the manager. I ended up taking the difference off the servers tip and will no longer dine at this restaurant. The stupidity of some businesses.
