Oh my goodness. This was such a good experience. Customer service was good, and the food was amazing. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone. I had the Mac & cheese along with the fried fish, which came with fries and toast. The fish was crispy and delicious, and the Mac was sooooo cheesy and flavorful. My husband had the lemon pepper wings and he couldn't even speak he was so focused on eating 🤣🤣🤣 We aren't in Dallas often, but this would definitely be a place to stop in when we come back.

My husband found this place on TikTok! When I tell you they have the best soul food! We dined in and the atmosphere was amazing. They have jazz playing and intimate tables, perfect for a nice date. They also serve Daiquiri's but I don't drink so I didn't indulge. I had ox tails, yams, black eye peas, cornbread, cabbage, and mac and cheese. My husband had catfish, fries, and shrimp. We enjoyed a nice spread and every morsel was good. This is a nice place to come when you want some real good food. Needless to say we both had a great time. They also have a drive through and take out if you are in a hurry. Everything is cooked to order! You have to try it and decide for yourself!!

This was my 2nd time coming here and it's has improved. I ordered a 2 piece and 3 piece catfish. This order came with fries, bread, and jalapeno peppers. Then added 2 orders of mac n cheese and peach cobbler. Overall everything was good, but the mac n cheese had a Ridiculous LARGE amount of cheese. Honestly I didn't mind but for some might be too much...it could be something you can actually share....depending on how you eat. Other than that it was all good. Just ask for extra tartar sauce and ketchup. This is the only place in my area where I can care less about the price . When I want to treat my self to some good seasoned food this is absolutely #1 . Good fish, wings , Mac and cheese, fries , and peach cobbler. The owner are super nice and professional.

Came to try this place out since I was in the area. Everybody was really nice & it was easy to make an order. I ordered a lollipop daiquiri & it was really good. It has the right amount of flavor & alcohol. I got a medium. Be careful because it'll sneak up on you. They'll give you a taste test if all the flavors, with is about 10. Everything is cooked to order, so you'll have to be patient. The food did come out in a timely manner. The food was also well seasoned. I'll be back to try other items, so that i can give a better review.

My lady friend sent me here specifically for garlic parmesan wings. She says they're consistently great, and she always enjoys their wings and daiquiris. Wings are available in several flavors. She said they have all been very good (she has tried several flavors). I was surprised at the price for 12 wings coming in at just a few cents under $20. I wish they were less because I think I would go to Hooters at these prices. This is a small Neighborhood Place, which is often my favorite type of place. Slow down entering and leaving the parking lot it's got a very steep angle, and my car front end dragged a little. They do have seating inside in addition to drive-through service. They bring the food to you at your car if you have to wait a little while.

This place is a gem. It is conveniently delicious! They have a drive through, which we used. The food came out hot and quick. The service was attentive and polite. Our large order came out correct the first time, making this stop quick and easy. The portion sizes do not disappoint and the flavor of each dish is full and abundant. The cornbread was slightly dry and falling apart, however the flavor more than made up for it. The Daqs are surprisingly great! The flavors are bold and pack a punch. I recommend trying this place out at least once!

Stumbled upon them looking for the nearest Chase bank. Saw they sold ox tails so I stopped. Wouldn't say they were expensive because everything has gone up. They do give hearty portions. The ox tails were tender. I like a little more seasoning but I'm a country girl. The rice was perfect and the gravy was good. The greens were flavored with turkey meat and pretty tender. The black eyed peas were cooked thoroughly and seasoned well. I like sweet cornbread so it was just the way I like it. The lady working the drive thru was friendly and courteous. Didn't have to wait long for my order. Would have liked some pecan or peach cobbler but they didn't have any. I'll go back simply to try the cobblers. They had other items on the menu I'd like to try as well such as wings and fried fish.

I like good food but I'm all about good customer service. Lady at the register was neither welcoming or thankful. Yams were a slight bit hard on the edges. Catfish lacked a bit of flavor. Cooked/ fried well but not much flavor to the seasoning. Friendly service is much needed for return of customers.

I’ll start off by saying the 1st time I can hear I ordered the Long Island daiquiri and IT HIT! The young guy at the counter was so nice and patient! He was the reason me and my dad came back. Now the 2ND time….the waitress horrible!!! Had a nasty attitude. You could tell she hates her job or something. Waited almost 30min for an incomplete order( I was suppose to have fries with my order) 1 small hiccup,right? Tell me why the side was COLD!! Catfish was fresh and hot but out of everything my favorite item was the buttered toast 😭 owner tried to make me fresh fries but all he made me was fresh freezer burnt potatoes. Other customers had issues with missing items but I’ll let them tell their story. Food is MID! Definitely not the best experience! No-one cared, no accountability, no good vibes at all. My suggestion JUST COME HERE FOR THE SCREWDRIVER AND TOAST 😂

Waste of time and money. Mac and cheese was gross. Greens were gross. The catfish tails were different and definitely the only positive thing I experienced. They’re also the only reason the place didn’t get just one star from me. Service was trash. The two dudes didn’t feel a desire to shut up and greet me or take my order, even after making eye contact with me at the register. Typical of the area and its people. Boooooooooooo 👎🍅

Never ever again, in a million years will they get another dollar from me. I should have known better, my daughter asked about the candie yams and the lady responded everything is freshly cooked. And do not come from the can. Idk where did that come from. I will hope not. I order the catfish with two sides. Unfortunately the catfish only comes with French fries and bread. After 20 to 30 minutes waiting for the food, we received our sides that was refrigerator cold. I had to asked for them to be reheated. Idk about being freshly cooked. We sat down to eat and the table have no type of napkins or Sauce on the table, everything is in carry out packs. I am assuming they are known for their frozen drinks. They don't give any samples or have any labels of the liquor that's mix inside so you need to ask and roll the dice and hope you enjoy it. Because the owner D-Bo will not let you switch your drink after getting up-chargre for the drink. I hope for anyone that goes to this restaurant gets better service going forward.

The two piece catfish was overcooked and the hot water cornbread had grease dripping off of it. To top it all off, what I got was way overpriced. $29.20 for 2 filets, 2 sides, and 2 pieces of hot water cornbread. I even said something to the man working there. I will definitely not be back due to quality and price.

I didn’t enjoy anything but the fish and my daiquiri was okay. After such a long wait, the food definitely should of been better. I feel like it was a complete waste of money. My fries were forgotten. The Mac was moist but left a chicken broth after taste. I didn’t enjoy it at all. The peach cobbler wasn’t any good either. The wings were nothing special. People are giving a honest review of their experience. If it wasn’t a pleasant one, as manager, be professional and apologize for the inconvenience. Customer service is important. There’s no point in responding if you are going to be rude and address none of the concerns. Simply do better. No one wants to wait for as long as you all have your customers waiting, just to spend their hard earned money on unsatisfactory food.
