The Habit Burger Grill

We've eatin at several over the years, great variety of foods always tasty. Love the BBQ chicken lettuce wrap sandwich. Great onion rings and tempura green beans. Burgers are always good too.

They go above and beyond at this location, employees and the manager Rock!!!!

The burgers are really tasty and good quality. The salads are great. The fries are really good. I've heard from family that they love the sweet potato fries and the fried asparagus. It's not fast food so you have to wait a bit for food, but I've never gotten poorly prepared food here. The prices are also quite good for a higher quality product than that of regular fast food restaurants.

The Santa Barbara Char is soooo good! All of their burgers are good, as are their onion rings. I'm not a French fry person but my husband likes them. Their shakes are really good, coffee is my favorite. Mocha is a bit too sweet for me. I love the drink selection with the different fruit flavors.

I seriously love this place. I’ve been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. The burgers are great! (Great alternative to in n out) shakes are tasty and the fries are good. Also you gotta try the Santa Barbara style it’s very unique and very filling. The customer service is also great they are always friendly, the service is quick, and they have never messed up my order. Thanks Habit! You guys rock!

This Habit has the best staff and customer service. I had placed a delivery order through uber eats and the driver never showed up to pick up the order. I called the restaurant 10 minutes before they closed and they were kind enough to wait for me and they prepared a new meal and gave me the meal for free. They do know how to treat their customers. Definitely coming back to this restaurant. Thank you to the manager and his staff. You guys are amazing!

My dog Buddy and i took a little day trip and we stopped here for lunch. everything was superb staff excellent. A nice bonus it is in a nice tree lined mall. It felt like we were in a tiny village. This added a nice touch to our little trip.

Highly recommend the SANTA BARBARA CHAR Sandwich, two freshly chargrilled beef patties, avocado, caramelized onions, American cheese, crisp lettuce, tomato, pickles and mayo on grilled sourdough. And the CHICKEN CLUB Sandwich, hand-filleted marinated chicken breast, green leaf lettuce, tomatoes, hickory-smoked bacon, fresh avocado, and mayo, served on toasted sourdough. Portions are huge so fries of any kind will be overkill. If you do get fries, avoid the Spicy Ranch, truly nasty. Other Ranch sauces might also be nasty. The teriyaki sauce is weak on flavor but strong on sugar and cornstarch.

The great little hamburger spot. its clean the food is always good I love the tuna burger. I think the fact that they wait to cook the fries in till you get there when you're picking up an order as a real nice touch.

My salad was fresh and the dressing not overly sweet, which I appreciated. The food was ready very quickly and the employee who took my order was quite friendly. My only real complaint is that my tuna was rather overcooked to the point of being dry and chewy.

The charburger was much smaller than I was expecting. It was good, but not sure it lived up to the hype. I was also surprised at how long it took to receive. The fries were very cold, so wasn’t happy about that. The mocha shake was very good.

Very average. I ordered a classic char burger with cheese. It was ok. I prefer the taste of in n out burger much more. bathrooms were dirty with paper on floor. The service was ok, didn't wait that long.

It's either this or In and Out but I prefer the Habit. Great hamburgers with good flavors and cooked well. I like my meat medium rare and they'll accommodate. It's presented well and not sloppy as In and Out. It's not huge like some other places so not too filling but enough to satisfy. A little pricy but hey, Carl's charge over $7 for their burger (not combo). Today I tried their grilled Chicken club and it wasn't that bad considering they're a burger joint. It was well proportioned so one ingredient didn't overwhelm the other. My only issue was the grease dripping from the sandwich as I but into it. Probably won't have it again. This place is smaller than other Habits I've been to but is clean and offers patio seating as well. The staff are accommodating and friendly and food is made fairly quick. Parking can be a little challenging on weekends as the center It's located in is small. There is no street parking.

Food was great BUT ordered avocado on my daughter's burger and it wasn't there when we got home. The most annoying thing is my wife asked him 3 times if it was definitely on it because they ALWAYS forget the avocado(but never forget to charge for it) on my kids burger for some reason. He confidently reassured her it was (without checking) but was so sure of himself we didn't want to be rude by checking. Anyway very disappointed because by the time we realized they already closed. Lesson learned, you can't trust them to ever get the order right so always check before you leave.

Look at the floor behind the counter. If I had looked before I ordered I would have walked out. There was lettuce, french fries, plastic knife, plastic spoon and paper trash all over the ground. In the restaurant there is sticky spots on the floor. The tables have not been cleaned in hours and have trash on some of them. When I was leaving I asked why the restaurant was so dirty? The answer the girl gave was because they are closing in an hour. The best part was the manager never turned around. He sat there with his clipboard and let his employee defended his terrible management decisions. As i waited for my food I watched the manager and the employees step over the trash time and time again. They could care less. When you see a dirty restaurant just remember this. If they don't take the time to clean up, what other things are they not taking the time to do right? Do you think they're washing their hands when they come back from the bathroom? Do you think those sponges are being used to long or on to many surfaces? Once you stop cleaning there's plenty of other things you stop doing too. It won't be long before this restaurant gets somebody very sick. I couldn't get a pic of behind the counter, but here is some of the other stuff.

I've always loved Habit. Their burgers are delicious. However, recently I've started to realize that whenever I order from this location the fries are sopping wet with oil!! I had to throw out almost all my fries last time because they were so gross. Even after I realized that the fries were always mushy, I asked to have them well-done, and nothing changed. Why can't I get crispy fries?!?! 5/31 UPDATE: I officially will not come back to the Habit. They are now charging .60 for a side of ranch. So ridiculous!!!!!! Plus they now offer Pepsi instead of Coke. No thank you.

Ordered online and got to the restaurant two minutes after the pick up time it told me. The burger sat in a bag for 15 minutes before they scrape some fries together for my meal. The workers seem to be moving at a snail's pace at this location. Would not recommend.

Watch out at the register when placing order that you get your change correct and that your food is correct.

This is why I really HATE bathrooms that are for Men and Women instead of how they used to be which was Women's Restroom and Men's Restroom...totally gross! Pee all over the floor and seat, I was completely grossed out and couldn't even eat my food!

I am deeply disappointed, not only was the customer service poor but when I asked kindly for an extra ranch because I paid for over a $30 meal, they refused. I bought two sandwiches and fries and only got one ranch. I’m deeply disappointed in the way, he handled it as my family has been a customer for 14 years

Always double check your take out/curbside order here, TWICE they gave me the wrong food. I didn't think they could mess up an order with just two items but I stand corrected, they can and will absolutely do it.

The grilled chicken burger does not come with avocado, but there was a piece on the bread. I am allergic to avocado.

I’ve gone here 3 nights in a row. 2 out of 3 nights they’ve gotten the order wrong. I should have checked before going home, last time I go to this location.
