Recensioni di Cafe La Boheme Alameda
Ordered tht gyro with the lentil soup/bread. Let's just say It was so fresh and good that I forgot to take a picture before I ate it all.
A lovely local cafe with delicious chai lattes and frappes, free Wi-Fi (1-2 hours per small purchase), and good prices.
Had the egg cheese bacon croissant, and the locks bagel with a fruit smoothie and just a cold carbonated water. Interesting place. The food was very good. Worth visiting.
I have never had better tea in my life. His secret lavender blend is legendary. As someone who has served in the armed forces this is TRULY Authentic!!!! Must go!!!!!
I love this coffee shop. Great for a quick bite or to work. There are plenty of outlets and comfy tables! Amazing food and coffee options. I only didn't love the espresso.
I can always find a place to set up my laptop and have a snack and a drink while working. There are signs up reminding people to purchase if they're going to be using WiFi for hours. Support this local business and eat a delicious sandwich or drink a house--made tea or coffee so they can continue to offer wifi!!
Love this place. Food is really good and reasonably priced for SF. Came here for breakfast and was impressed. Owner owned and operated. Very close to BART 24th and Mission.

Always a favorite spot of mine for the past fifteen years. Pleasant atmosphere. Community gatherings. Great sandwiches, desserts, and coffees. Perfect place to read, meet friends, or just grab a bite on your morning commute.
My favorite cafe in SF. I spent so much time there over the last 10 years I probably tried everything on the menu. I love the gyro sandwich and the Mexican hot chocolate. This place is confortable and it’s different from all the modern soulless coffee shops
I really like this place; I brought my brother here and he liked it too. The owner is friendly and makes a great bagel (it’s so hard to find a good bagel on the west coast and this was a pleasant surprise). The tea is good and so is the honey cake! It’s a good place to sit and hang out as well, they have a lot of tables so it’s very comfortable. I don’t live near here or I’d come here all the time.

The Oregon Chai was delicious. Friendly service, plenty of tables. Great vibes, somehow feels both Bohemian and welcoming, exotic and homey.

Cafe La Boheme is a Mission District institution . It long predates the Mission's gentrification and was serving "gourmet" coffee before it was a thing. It continues to have a great vibe, still serves great coffee and food, and is a great place to sit and think or work on laptop. The hummus plate is my favorite dish, but there are many other great choices. I am a decades-long customer, and I hope it never closes!
Bohemian place with chill vibe. Blended Mochas and baklava! Extensive menu with salad, bagels, Sandwiches, soups, coffees, tea, and alcoholic beverages.
Tough location to pull off a traditional chill cafe vibe with the cacophony of BART so near. Considering the location I’ll give it four stars. The Turkish coffee is unfiltered with cardamom and quite good. I recommend grabbing a coffee here and a doughnut from The Jelly Doughnut nearby. Nice pairing if you like your sugar with caffeine.
go see for yourself if you are in the hood and ready to explore. and yes interesting for the time we are in...good latte!

Passive aggressive service, flies everywhere. overpriced but decent pastries

it was okay. nothing really stood out to me. the pastry was a bit dry and $7 for a small cappuccino is kinda wild lol. i’ve had better coffee nearby for cheaper. not bad, just not worth the hype imo
Well, the Cafe La Boheme was open early and so that was great however I gotta say the food was mediocre at best and there was lipstick all over my coffee cup 🤢 The service and atmosphere were ok. I thought the reviews for this place didn’t match my experience. It was a little dusty. The guy was friendly but I probably won’t go back unless I need a place to sit early in the morning.

Terrible attitude of the owner, when asked about wifi, he was very displeased. They charged me $26 for a coffee and an omelette, with burnt toasts and $6 extra for a deli turkey slice in my omelette. I asked for some honey, he was not happy about it. He tried to dictate belligerently to sit in a particular chair when literally the whole restaurant was empty. They give out a wifi voucher that only works for 1 hour! The code on the voucher that he gave me did not work as it had been already used. I asked for a new voucher, he stared me down for it and wouldn't believe me as if I am asking for free food (which I should have). After receiving the voucher, the wifi was so slow that I had to hot spot my laptop. The owner of the cafe kept yelling at a handful of patrons. What terrible attitude, quality and service.

hate to write this review but Cafe La Boheme had it coming. rude service, inhospitable. i go there sometimes when i have to grab something on the go before work, and the service is always rude but today it was worse. i paid extra for extra cream cheese got not that much. also found a hair in my bagel so i really only ate half. i feel nauseous :(
Got a breakfast special~Basically an egg McMuffin, but dramatically overpriced at 14 with tax when it is supposed to be around 12. Gave me two halves of a strawberry except one side was moldy. Barista/server’s vibe was gruff-didn’t feel friendly. I get it, it’s a small business, but it’s an expensive city and I’m blue collar like most people, next time when I’m in a rush, I’ll just go to the McDonald’s, at least service and food will be reliable. I don’t usually write negative posts, but you need guys seriously need to fix your quality control and work on being friendlier.
