Great sushi, good service. Best part is that if you ask questions about any of their menu items, they are happy to educate. Only thing, they don't really do special requests (like keeping raw food away from cooked, or separating fish or shellfish. For that reason, this place may not be too allergy friendly.

Great sushi. Always fresh and delicious, it doesn’t make any difference if you eat it on the spot or if you order a delivery, you always receive a tasty and good sushi. I’ve been eating at this place for years and it is every single time a great experience. I recommend this place 100%

I only get sushi here so can't comment on the other dishes. Pros: Cheap Fresh Fish Nails the Standards Cons: As someone said its not super authentic, but don't go here for an authentic experience. Not the best decor / seating 5 stars because it hits the marks of what a cheap sushi place should be.

The lady on the phone is so nice! She provides good communication pertaining to the driver ETA and food preparation ETA. The food was BOMB. I love how you can order Chinese , Japanese and Thai all at the same time! It came warm and in a reasonable time. I literally can’t wait to order again!

Service is very, very fast. You order a pick up over the phone and 20 min later you get call "where are you, your food's getting cold" (love those people!). Place is small and cozy inside. You are more than welcome to sit and dine and your food will arrive in these amazing, modern white dishes, like you are in a pricey restaurant in Manhattan. Sesame Chicken and General Tso are delicious, sushi is good, bento boxes are full and yummy. Getting hungry just thinking about that place.

I was craving some sushi and my husband suggested this restaurant. I’m always iffy about where I get sushi, but the reviews looked promising, so we gave it a go. I ordered a salmon roll and spicy tuna roll and on a whim, added an order of coconut shrimp. I’m so glad I did because the coconut shrimp was AMAZING! It’s honestly the best I’ve ever had! The sushi was also really good - very fresh. This is definitely my new go-to place for Asian fusion!

I think it’s one of the best places i’ve ever been. I have eaten there about 10 times, their service is always professional, their dishes are delicious, my recommendation is the rice e-chiban, one of the best rice dishes i have ever eaten in my life. It’s not expensive, they are very good prices, please never change, they are excellent in what they do.

Update: I’ve been ordering take out from here for a while now and would highly recommend it. Book through their website! They have their own driver who is really fast and courteous. I ordered last night and it said 30 mins for delivery but it was at my door in 18 mins! The food always shows up looking like it just came out of the kitchen. Sometimes they even throw in a little free treat like a California roll! I can never leave Ridgewood now because I’ll miss this place too much! :)

Quick, satisfying Japanese lunch. Ordered Salmon Teriyaki Bento Box. Everything was delicious. Only thing that wasn't completely to my gate was the miso soup. The seaweed was a little tough to chew.

It's Japanese food made by Chinese people, and the menu options reflect that. -the nice booths in the back are unusable because they're used for storage. -dingy little bathroom.

E-Chiban has been around since I was a kid and it’s a decent local spot. While the fish might not be the freshest, their lunch specials are reasonably priced for the area. I usually stick to the same rolls to be on the safe side, and the eel avocado roll is always a good choice.

Don't really write many reviews, but this place was filthy. Came to get sashimi per reviews, but seemed like a really bad idea once inside. I like divey places but something about raw fish mixed with general lack of concern for cleanliness - sushi bar used for storage, half eaten personal items and probiotics(?) in fridge out in open, drilling above raw bar during dinner, family on speaker phone...Felt like I was in a what would you do video. But hey bento box wasn't bad - weird don't really understand the good reviews.

Not fresh lately! Used to buy from here all the time and loved it but lately the sushi is pretty bad and once even gave me food poisoning! Will not be eating here again unfortunately

I cannot comment on the sushi, and I really wanted to love this place, but the red curry and udon noodles I had will go over as probably the worst Asian meal I've had in a decade. The red curry had almost no sauce and none of the Thai red curry flavor I love. The yaki udon was basically noodles with a tiny bit of cabbage, the meat, and no flavor.

Must do a better job of securing food items in bag when it’s raining. Contents were completely soaked. Both sauce containers opened in bag.

I was try to order food by phone, but the lady she was sooooo rude i heard her when i was ordering “yhmm omg something else “ that’s was ironic when i tried to order food i didn’t ordered it because i think we have to respect the clients …. It’s a lot of different restaurants when I will call and they will be nice to me !! Thank you i will not order again for this service!!

I ordered the wonton egg drop soup. It was absolutely inedible. The broth was slime and then when I asked them to take it back and asked for a miso soup (which was too salty) they charged me for the food I did not eat. Will not come back. Do not recommend.

Horrible food!!!! Don't order it from that place!!!! Fried calamari and Boneless Spare Ribs were disgusting! Ribs taste like it has maple syrup with cinnamon in it. I feel like I am going to trow up now! I don't recommend this place to anyone. Curry sauce and shrimps was OK, but not the best!!!
