I don't understand some of the bad reviews...all I can say is the coffee is outstanding, and the long cheese-stuffed warm bread is the best thing I have ever eaten in my life. I come from Flushing to get it. And the Papa Rellena is yummy too. There is always a line and it moves fast - so maybe that's why the salespeople seem "rude"?

All these bad reviews dont know what they are talking about!! I ordered here a few times and the service was always super fast, incredibly friendly and I was surprised how quick my delivery got to my door!! The food tasted excellent, I can tell they use wholesome ingredrients and don't overloaad their food with goya products, this is how real colombian food is made!!

Most of the time we order takeout, and the food is packed well, still hot when we get home, and always fresh. Whether eating in or taking out, the quality is the same every time. Our go-to is the Picada para 4 Personas, and it never disappoints. The platter comes loaded with pork rinds, sausage, blood sausage, salami, and steak — all cooked perfectly with great flavor. It’s a big, satisfying dish and perfect for sharing. A reliable neighborhood restaurant with excellent food, good service, and great value. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic Colombian dishes done right.

BAKERY REVIEW: Came in on a late Wednesday morning and boy was this place busy! Staff here is really friendly and speak both English & Spanish. There’s a couple of chairs and tables inside for casual dining. They have a very extensive menu, but my sister and I are just suckers for their cheese bread donuts! 3 of them for $7

Delicious food and pastrys, usually fresh, its very clean and even its a small location its always very accomodating. The only thing that lacks it of a 5 star on my opinion its that the employees are not very welcoming. Small lack of understanding of the business.

I usually come here for the pan de bono and it's one of my favorites in the area. Pair that with an iced coffee and it's a great morning. I recommend the pan de queso too, it comes in 2 different sizes. I've tried the chicharron & it was good as well. They're usually pretty busy and the staff are friendly. Parking is very hard in the area but sometimes you luck out.

My favorite here are the drinks, just delicious! Food is good! I usually get meet here and it is good; however the last time I visit I order a fish with passion fruit sauce and it was awful, the sauce was really strong.

Bakery it’s phenomenal but food flavors it’s not always good, be careful when buying empanadas too often are hard and lately they put probably 75% potato and 25% meat, looks like they cook a lot of them at once so the more time they spend waiting for you, they start getting hard.

The food is delicious and the portions huge, especially for the price. Haven’t been here in a long time and they changed a couple things. Their menu is now on tablets and they increased their prices a little. I love their outdoor seating area, very nicely done. Staff was nice, but they mostly only speak spanish, so it is easier to order if you have some spanish knowledge. I ordered breaded chicken with salad and rice & beans. My boyfriend ordered a mixed platter (see picture). Both plates were delicious. We also ordered two drinks, they are beautifully decorated and have a good amount of alcohol in it. The food and drinks were served very quick. There is street parking available. Recommend this restaurant!

Place advertises closing at 10 PM. We came in at 9 and they d refused to serve us and told us that they were closed.

Good food for good price. But if they will improve their customer service, and hire or train their waitresses to be more friendly (They are professional and know the food they serve) they could be such a great place. If you take one of their sandwich, you will not get disappointed.

This restaurant has great service with its food that takes me back to Colombia. I would however say that if you are ordering, occasional mistakes when receiving (including messing up your orders with different orders). Nevertheless, great place!

The food was decent, definitely not the best Colombian food I ever had and most definitely if you do not speak Spanish you’re going to probably have a hard time understanding all the menu items. I called ahead and they said 20 minutes and I arrived about 20 minutes later and ended up waiting an additional 20 minutes for my food. The lady behind the counter was definitely doing a great job of navigating the many different people ordering and waiting so perhaps they were just short staffed. I am a big fan of Chicharrón and I got three orders and they all seem like they had been overcooked and perhaps were left out too long as they definitely lacked that desired juiciness and crunchiness that makes Chicharrón so awesome!

I've been going here for years. Food is always on point. A took a star off because I found out they were charging me .25 for a plastic bag without even asking me or telling me there would be a charge. Update: went in miday on a weekday. Was very disappointed with the service on a slow day. At first the young gentleman with glasses, Jesus?, Greeted me as soon as I stepped to the counter but soon he seemed very annoyed that I kept asking for stuff after he gave me the first few things I asked for. Like he didn't even want to be there. I asked him if I had been charged for a bag and him and the lady next to him on the phone said theybuse to not anymore. Either way I needed a receipt. He seemed even more annoyed that when he gave me the receipt he didn't even look at me nor say bye have a good day. I felt so uncomfortable. I was nice with a smile the entire time. I am inclined to go back here for a bit.

Never had a problem up until now. Usually no problems with the food or my order, but this last time I ordered was terrible. I told them specifically what I wanted in my order, they said okay but they didn't give me anything I specifically stated. This is a problem because I cannot eat certain foods. Food is really good, the waitress was the worse, no sense of costumer service, we wanted to have a dessert but the waitress was socializing with their friend at one of the table, she didn’t bother to ask if we wanted something else. And she even get the empanadas that we asked for. They need to train the waitress on costumer services. Good service and you get great tips. That’s how it works.

The food was ok plantains super dried not fresh at all in the bandeja paisa was surprised to find at the end that they charge you an additional 2 dollars for your choose of meat which I thought It came with price of the meal, service was slow food took long. The food they have already prepared is nothing special and extremely overpriced. I get tamale's on the block for 3 and 4 dollars. They are Charging $9. Wow. Maybe their plates are worth but I didn't order nor will I be returning to find out.

Food is ok . Sorry to say this but my last experience with the staff was not pleasant . A woman with small eyes and dark hair that is in charge of the register is a piece of work . Gave the wrong change in one occasion I thought it was her mistake but then my daughter told me the same happened to her and last time I bought something gave her a $5 so she could take $2 for tips . She gave me back $2 with the most fresh face I ever seen , like she is used to do this . Its not about the loss of my dollar but about the freshness of this woman pretty sure he has done it before . Owner beware this is not ethical .

The food is delicious but WARNING for take out orders please check you receipt you may paying for something that is not in you bag. I’m going to have to agree with most comments, food is average, but the bakery is pretty good, now the real reason for this review is their waitress the worst I have ever met. They are rude and whisper about customer in front of them, of course you can’t tell due to the face mask. I rather go to Valerio for pan de Bono and to Mr Mario for food.

The food is bomb but the waitresses are the worst. Sat down for 20 minutes and no one came to take my order so I left and went across the street. Much better service over there. I ordered quite a few items from this place for take out, so unfortunately I didn't realize most of it was disgusting until I got home. I ordered 2 Avena's and both were slimy when I opened the lid. I ordered assorted breads and they were all stale. The only good thing I got was rice. To add insult to injury, they didn't even ask my name but took it upon themselves to write GRINGA on my receipt. I have pale skin and green eyes so I guess they assumed i was white which in fact I'm not. Never will I order from this place again.

The worst service! They speak to you as if they are doing you a favor. No manners, like is this not your job?! The food isn't always fresh. Understand that if you do not make it there early in the morning (when they make everything), it will be stale and cold. The best part is that when you ask them if this is fresh, they lie and say yes. Low and behold when you get home and sink your teeth, you are just full of disappointment. Extremely bad service girls in charge don’t know anything at all about costumer service! My husband came to place an order for pick up and they didn’t want to help him because he has a disability and had our support dog with him and he forgot the dog support card, he asked if it was possible for him to get assisted from out side and they answered him with a really nasty attitude and denied there services!!! I hope god bless them and they never go through a situation like this! They don’t care about one costumer because apparently they get enough costumers so losing one doesn’t matter! We cane gere 3 weeks ago My daughter asked for an arepa with shredded beef and they did not have ut but a substitute was offered and my daughter agreed. Tiday we came and my daughter asked again for the arepa with shredded beef and rhey did not have ut once again. We asked for a drink called avena and it was with a burned taste. When they brought in the food, it was totally different to what the picture looks like. My tice and beans were very salty and when l homplained, for the third time the waitress just said, "that is very rare," and did not offer anything in exchange by just sayong, "l will tell the cook." When she came with the bill, she did not deduct a penny out of it. I will never return to that place and l do not recomment it to anyone. Sorry for the bad review, but l had to pay for something l did not even ate.. when p asked for the manager, the waitress said, "He is not in." She didnot even offeted to take my numbe4 and have him call me back.

Ordered a few sandwiches and fries for my friends to go. One of the sandwiches has a mole on the bread. He didn't even notice it until a few bites in and had to put the sandwich down to look at his phone. Called the restaurant back and they said they can't do anything for us and refused to refund the order. I myself used to manage a restaurant and if there was any mistakes to an order or problems I would exchange the meal, apply a discount, or offer a free meal depending on case. but this restaurant simply refused to do anything and basically stated that we were stuck with the moldy sandwich. Very unprofessional, I table for 3 ordered. Only 2 people were served. I didn’t get my meal after waiting for 1 hour. Then they told me the kitchen is closed they can’t prepare anything for me!! I traveled 1:30mins to get here. This was the outcome! I ain’t coming back!!!!

This place is so dirty. There were flies in the restaurant and the girls working in there obviously did not care. I do not recommend this place to anyone. They don’tt keep it clean and they added the tip to a party of 2. As per NY state the tip is only allowed to be added to a party of 4 and up. I definitely do not recommend this place to anyone. The owner needs to make sure that his or her employees keep this place clean and they don’t.

There was nothing special in the food, I asked for churrasco and it was so hard as to bite that I hat to cut it in small pieces. Service was ok. That they on June 30 at around 3:40PM was pouring inside the restaurant, our food got wet. It was a nightmares. They charged me 18% tip event tough I want to give only 15% because I have no fever choices. Terrible experience. I do not recommend it.

Food is average. Customer service is the worst. If you don’t know Spanish or know about their culture you will be treated differently. Cashier was rude and spoke to customers with attitude. Ordered from the bakery and received an item I didn’t order do to lack of communication. Was charged and when I asked why I paid extra for something I didn’t order they refused to give me my money back because they don’t take “refunds”. The food was never touched therefore it’s not a refund especially if I didn’t order it. Spoke with a manager and was told the same thing. Not coming back here again.

This USED to be a good place to eat. I would always come here to get me some Colombian food. But NOW I don’t like this place anymore. Their food isn’t as good anymore. The service is terrible. They take so long to serve your food. They give you attitude when you point out their mistakes. This is no longer a place I would come to. I came to this place two days ago and there were two other tables and they took 30 mins just to serve us. And it’s was only three of us at our table. Waited 15 min to get a piece of luke warm chicharron for $10. The employees in this store do not speak english at all, so if you don't speak spanish, dont bother going here. Then again, based on my previous experience with their food... I will not be going there again either.
