The first time I tried to come here was when it was trending on my IG feed and it was way too packed to come in. Months later I was looking for a spot on a Saturday to grab a casual meal with a friend. It was not crowded actually quiet and the server was really polite and cleared our dishes frequently. For the sushi, I’m usually a frequenter of Akino and while Akino has slightly more variety, this place has more bang for your buck. Especially the salmon ce with thick slices for sashimi, good rice to roll ratio for classic rolls. The special roll (bumblebee) was HUGE but tasty. I would recommend this place as comparable experience wise to Akino but definitely worth it if you’re looking for a cheaper alternative. $38 for weekend (dinner menu all day) One good thing to note is that dessert is also AYCE here (though selection is limited to 4 cakes and 1 grass jelly dessert, still nice that it’s ayce)
My three friends and I visited this all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant for the first time. The decor is unique and stylish, and the vibe inside is great. The food came out quickly, and it was truly great value for money. We all had a blast tonight—I will definitely be back!
First AYCE sushi it was worthy A lot of option It is really amazing You don’t need to get server attention to keep ordering You can order from the table using your phone
Very nice atmosphere, quick service, food was good and came out quickly. Not busy at all at 2pm on a Wednesday, AYCE priced fairly at $20 per person 🙏
Friendly, fast and a variety of choices to choose from. Will come back. Their Thai milk tea is really, really good. Must try.
This place was amazing for the all-you-can-eat sushi. The food was amazing and served up incredibly fast. The wait staff very very helpful and very professional. You must eat most of what you order so that you don’t abuse the system, but this place represents very good value for very good quality food.
This was my first time coming to Tokyo ya. I came during lunch on a Wednesday afternoon and it was not crowded at all. I ordered using a QR code and my food came out quickly. The sushi was fresh and everything was portioned nicely. The ambience was great too. Perfect for dining alone or catching up with friends.
Tokyo Ya is an absolute gem for sushi lovers — the sashimi is incredibly fresh, thick-cut, and melts in your mouth. Their miso soup is rich, comforting, and full of flavor, the perfect way to start the meal. Everything is made to order, and the quality is top-tier for an all-you-can-eat spot. Can’t wait to go back for another round!
My boyfriend and I come here any chance we get for their happy hour all you can eat lunch deal. Always incredible service and delicious food. The kitchen is always fast and there’s such a variety of options on the all you can eat menu that everyone is bound to find something they love! If you’re in the Astoria area this place is a must.
I stumbled upon this divine find during my Saturday afternoon stroll through Ditmars Boulevard-Astoria, Queens. When I read the “All You Can Eat” banner, I envisioned a buffet style set-up. I was blown away when I discovered you can order any item listed on the menu (yes, any item) and the food is freshly made and delicious👅👅👅. You have 90 minutes to try every delicious item. But believe it or not, it only takes about 30 minutes (tried and tested)😂😂😂 If you are not a raw fish kind of person, there’s plenty of delicious cooked sushi and sashimi for you too🍣. I highly recommend you try Tokyo Ya. Five Stars all the way⭐️🤩
food was good, nothing crazy but we love that it’s ayce for $35 dinner and for the variety they had it felt pretty worth it. if you go during lunch it’s $25 (and in this economy we can’t complain). food came out fairly quick and the servers were really friendly. it wasn’t crazy packed and we went around 6 when it was dinner.
great for the price but the service and ordering was really lacking. we came for the weekday dinner after initially considering another ayce sushi place that we go out to more common that was more expensive. the selection was interesting but most of which were kind of mid: the donut, onigiri, and taco. the classic and special roles also tasted kind of weird. we enjoyed the sashimi most though, which were good and unlimited. unfortunately, the worst part of the experience was the single server who admitted to us was very new. he wasn’t very well informed on the menu, got many things wrong, and had to check often with the manager. the chef also left out many of our orders and just straight up started cleaning and left the restaurant before finishing our orders despite us putting in our order before last call. though the food and price was good, the hostile/confused atmosphere left us very anxious.
