Our go to spot for Friday night dinner. Sauce is amazing! Try those fried brussel sprouts.
Went there for 'date night' last week. The server was friendly, the food was terrific. Perfect, relaxing night out. Thank you!
The food was perfectly cooked and the service was wonderful! We had a party of 18 and everything was perfect! We all loved it!
Food is absolutely fantastic!! Sevice is impeccable. I recommend making your next dinner reservations at Demarcos.. You won't be disappointed...
My absolute go to Italian Restaurant in the Capital District. Service is always great. Food is fantastic. John and his staff are amazing!
We ordered a pizza from here, best pizza I've had in a long time, really very friendly people and place ....You have to try their food....It gets 5 stars from us .....Even tho we never got our bags of sand ....
Love this place. Neighborhood atmosphere with an italian feel. The clams DeMarco are my personal favorite. Not too expensive , always leftovers and i can honestly say I've never had a bad meal there.
I wish I could give them more stars! The owner helped me pull off a surprise party! Food was fantastic, service and atmosphere were simply perfect!
This restaurant served some of the best italian food I've ever had. It's a shame that I live two hours away from DeMarco's otherwise I'd be there every week. The bread was great, the Bruschetta was the best I've ever had and the chicken parm was easily 10/10. The staff were great as well. If your tired of mediocre italian food then go to DeMarco's. You won't regret it. This is coming from someone who's family owned an Italian restaurant in central New York and has been spoiled with amazing food for 32 years.
Loved it. Chicken wings were incredible. Ordered chicken riggies as my meal and loved it
Awesome restaurant. Sauce is great! Fried dough us the bomb. Pizza is fantastic. You really need to check it out. Great happy hour.
I get take out at least once a week. The chicken and eggplant parm are superb but the chicken marsala is the best I’ve ever had hands down. Excellent service and good people.
I went for dinner at Demarcos for the first time on friday night and was very happy I did !!! The food was fantastic the service was great and the price was a bargain considering the portion and taste !! I tried the eggplant special ,rollatini with a vodka sauce to die for!! My Platter had five rollatini stuffed with a seasoned ricotta and romano blend and topped with plenty of oozy mozz!!A huge amount of my pasta choice of penne with a generous amount of the best vodka sauce ever.I also enjoyed the two hunks of garlic toast made with fresh garlic!! My dinner included a very fresh salad with my favorite dressing which was house made parmesan peppercorn ,seriously the best Ive had.I ate till I was stuffed and ate the rest the next day and I swear it was more than I ate the first night !! Im sad that Ive driven past this place for years without ever stopping ,well that will never happen again 😉
Excellent food at a great price. Service was exceptional. Bartender and wait staff are friendly, efficient and friendly. One of the best family owned Italian restaurants in the area.
Best chicken parm around! The staff did a great job when they were super busy tonight!!
Very friendly waitress, enjoyed having a nice conversation with her. She was very attentive to all our Needs & Wants. Looking forward to going again soon.
Excellent food and generous portions. Service was friendly and timely. Noisy atmosphere in a family restaurant way. 😊
Kind of place where they get repeat customers and know you by name. Not fancy but top notch Italian classics. Great service, friendly people, good food. My first time but not my last.
I always love DeMarcos. The food is always amazing and it is one of my favorite spots. All the people who work there are absolutely wonderful people and the bartender will remember you almost instantly!
Been coming here for some time, whether ordering out or dining in, it's always worth the trip!
An awesome old Italian restaurant with an expert/friendly/professional staff. Comfortable atmosphere. Food that just melts in your mouth. Life is good at DeMarco's
It was great tonight, only had pizza and it could'nt of been better. Their sicilian 🍕 is outstanding. Service was great . Friday night had chicken parm and my partner had veal parm. Cooked to perfection.
Anything in menu is great, especially chicken parm and the demarco pizza. Also had a bridal shower with delicious food, great staff, at a reasonable price. Patty the bartender is the best!!
Use to pass by here most days. Will a meal stop now. Great food, super size portions. Great valve
Ordered out for a Family meal. Pleasantly surprised of how good it was considering it was take out. Great taste and food was on point!!! Servings were also tremendous & I now have leftovers for the rest of the week
Excellent place to have a great meal. Have been going here for 30 years and never had a bad dinner. Staff is very friendly and honest. Lots of different menu options to choose from.
Went to Demarco's for the first time, We started with the Fried Calamari and shrimp cocktail absolutely delicious. Then the main course, the food was outstanding. Great service. We will definitely be back..
It was a pleasure working with John for the catering arrangements at our event on 8/18. Everything was on time, it was hot and delicious. There were more people than anticipated but the amount of food was more than enough. Everyone enjoyed there meals and wanted to know who catered the yummy food! I would and will have Demarcos cater all my events. Thank you so much John.
It’s a pleasure to eat in and takeout when needed. A friendly restaurant and atmosphere. Nice people all around, employees are kind and courteous and take of the customers. Thank you.
Service was beyond excellent , it didn't take long to be seated. The staff was very friendly , they checked in a lot and made sure everything was great. The food came in massive proportions and was so rich and tasteful.
Love the food .. the absolute best pizza in the area .. adore the staff !!
VERY VERY good service with Patti and our server Jessica Food was TOP notch couldn't eat it all. Thats coming from a 250 lbs guy so you know i can pack it away. It definitely a GO back.
I have never had a bad meal here, and make sure to get something different each time I go. My only recommendation would be a better beer selection. Are bar should offer more than light beer and Sam Adams.
My Italian girlfriend picked this place out on a visit to my hometown. It's been there forever and doesn't look like anything special from the avenue...she knows how to find them though and said the food was just like her grandmother used for make. The portions were massive and I got three meals out of my plate. Service was a tad slow because they cooked to order. We will go back.
Great hidden gem popular with the locals with delicious huge portions of red sauce Italian. Veal parmesan is not to be missed, or the home made tiramisu if available. Service at the bar is very friendly with Patti running the show, and knowing the names of all the customers. The service is quick, but be patient as there seems to always be a crowd, and there is only one Patti. Definitely will be returning!
Food was absolutely delicious and service was great. Wish my portion was a little bigger for the price I paid. Overall, phenomenal experience and will be back.
Fast friendly service while waiting for a take-out order. Sitting at the bar struck up conversation with some very nice people.
First-time visit and we loved it. Utica greens, chicken riggis and four-cheese lasagna all excellent. Will be back.
My father lives around the corner and said it was great. Great doesn't come close. I would use the words exceptional, superb and delectable. They brought out a basket of warm bread to start. We started with roasted red peppers and stuffed portabella mushrooms. The peppers were sweet with the perfect amount of heat from the fresh garlic and the olive oil was clean and crisp. The mushrooms are stuffed with hot Italian sausage stuffing. Which is perfect for anyone with a seafood allergy (my mom). We split both appetizers between my father, mother, my husband and myself. Perfect amounts. My father ordered the veal with peppers. Real. Veal. None of that patty garbage. Real tender pieces of meat with green peppers. My husband got the Americano. A turkey melt with all the fixings. He could only eat half. Very good sized sandwich paired with perfectly cooked onion rings. My mother got a veggie wrap with onion rings. The wrap was huge and she took the whole thing home. But I've saved the best for last. I ordered the penne alla vodka with sausage. It. Was. Amazing. The pasta was perfectly al dente. The sausage slices were huge and tender. But the vodka sauce. That was the star of the dish. So rich and creamy. I was so full but couldn't stop picking at it. My only regret was leaving my phone outside and not getting a picture. A side salad came with it. I never even touched it. I ate about half of my dish. To say the portions are large is an understatement. Very generous. And wait staff is phenomenal. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
I had the pleasure of having the Mother’s Day special and it was amazing. The food is flavorful and fresh. My order was ready and on time. My family enjoyed it. The owner is the best. I highly recommend this restaurant and I will be ordering again. I can’t wait to be able sit, eat and drink in this establishment so I can enjoy the atmosphere.
I own a butcher shop down the street from this place and although I've heard good things I never stopped. Me and my gal figured we would give it a shot leaving the shop about week ago and holy helllll. We picked up some pastas and apps and they were some of the best I've ever had! Everything down to the presentation of it was perfect! I've eaten there twice this week now lol both times 10/10! Even after warming up their large portions that I couldn't finish, it still looks like a damn piece of art! Keep up the awesome work!!
It was our first time there and it definitely won't be the last. We each ordered something different and we all loved what we got. We had Utica greens and calamari for appetizers and they were delicious. I can't say enough good things about this place. Oh so good.
I had no plans for dinner a night last week and was looking for a family style meal, DeMarco's came through! The chicken parm family meal was affordable and delicious! It came with salad, garlic bread, half tray of penne, half tray of chicken parm, and cookies, all for under $50! When I picked it up the staff was attentive and courteous.
My sisters and I went there and had such great meals. The chicken parm was delicious ..served with a salad and warm Italian bread. I had chicken franchise which was equally delicious! The service was wonderful and very welcoming! We will definitely go back!
I cannot say enough great things about John and his restaurant and staff. We had a last minute function to plan and John made it INCREDIBLY easy. We had the whole restaurant to ourselves (bonus!) and the food was AMAZING. We will definitely be back. Thank you!
Food is always delicious here, and our waitress was amazing. Bar is nice,, but small. Dining room could use an update, but overall, great restaurant!
We recently had a reception after a family member's funeral service. John was great to work with, to plan the meal. The food was delicious. The dining room space was just right for us. The staff, Brittany, was excellent. With all that we had going on during this difficult time, the great communication helped us plan this and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Everyone in our party was very pleased with their food and went home with leftovers. GF pasta was delicious.
We wanted a local family owned Italian restaurant for dinner before a high school football game and this place hit the mark. Food was delicious and the service was absolutely the best. Our waitress was new but she did a really good job and the extra help who come and refill drinks, take away empty dishes, etc. really do great and make the experience that much better. Good job supporting each other! And thank you for a good experience!
No gimmicks - just high quality, tasty Italian food! We stopped by the other day and had the eggplant parmesan and a square pizza. The red sauce on the eggplant tasted like it was made from tomatoes picked just 5 minutes before being placed in the pan and served - so fresh and tasty! The pizza was made the way my mom and Nonna made it, in a cookie sheet pan. And delicious :) Look forward to visiting again!
Home style Italian food, terrific waitress. Awesome steamed clams, delicious pasta, meatballs, chicken parm, salad and fresh Italian bread. Great night out with wife.
Demarco’s Italian Restaurant is a true gem in the community, and it’s no surprise that it’s a local favorite. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, always ensuring that every guest has a wonderful dining experience. The cozy, inviting atmosphere makes it the perfect spot for a family dinner, a date night, or a gathering with friends.
Pardon my French, but, MY GOD! I have finally reached the holy grail of Italian restaurants in the Capital region. The meatballs, garlic bread, and pizza were incredible. If you're not here for Italian food, you are in the wrong damn place.
Our waitress was very friendly and personable, we asked if we could get meatballs as an appetizer, even though they aren't listed, she was very accommodating and kept us up to date on how long they were taking because they are homemade and were worth the wait!! Would definitely recommend!!
We've gotten take-out from this restaurant several times and always enjoy the meal. A few months back, I made a reservation for a party of 9 to do a gender reveal dinner for our parents and siblings. It was our first time eating in the restaurant and they did not disappoint. They were more than accommodating for our large group and even kept our gender reveal cake in their refrigerator until we were ready to cut into it. They made us feel like family and took the time to celebrate with us. We very much appreciated the service and as always the great food. We will definitely be dining in the restaurant more often and hope to take our baby girl here once she arrives.
Our new place to go. We did the family meal takeout. It was delicious, everything was great. We even added meatballs and sausage, plus canoli's for dessert. The price was more than reasonable for the amount of food. Top notch all the way!!!
We had a Big Holiday Dinner for our shop here. The food was excellent! Everyone was very happy with their choices from appetizers to desert. (and drinks too) Our waitress & the rest of the staff was great! Special shout out to the guy from the kitchen who went above and beyond & helped me get into my car after closing. (My locks were frozen!) Thanks for a great evening!
I come here so often because how good the food is that they are familiar with us and where we like to be seated when we dine in! The bus girl from Greece is so nice and friendly and I always look forward to seeing her and speaking with her when I go here. The owner is also a very friendly guy with a great attitude. The bread is made fresh and absolutely delicious! I love their balsamic vinaigrette dressing it is the best I’ve ever tried anywhere! I am vegetarian and order the chicken riggies with no chicken almost every time I go that’s how good it is! My fiancé orders the same pizza Everytime we are there because he loves it that much and eats the entire thing while we are there. It can get a little slow on busy nights but that is expected when there’s a lot of people dining in not to mention all the orders for delivery. It’s worth it though! If you have the pleasure of dining in at this place I would definitely try the bruschetta and the chicken riggies!
Bartender was warm friendly and attentive. The food was good. Nothing to complain about. An excellent place to eat and or drink
What you would hope for from a neighborhood family Italian restaurant: hefty portions, decent prices, and delicious faire. As of Fall 2018 , new management is still trying out this and that to see what works, but have already taken it a step above the standard "family Italian restaurant" with bump ups such as mixed greens and various veggies for the salad rather than the sad iceburg lettuce with the lonely dull red tomato chunk. The wine connoisseurs at our table would have preferred more Italian varieties, but for now the selection is acceptable for those who wish for something to simply accompany a fulfilling home cooked meal.
Rapidly becoming my new favorite local restaurant. Food is always good and the atmosphere is super friendly and inviting. Also has a great bar.
A very pleasant, cozy restaurant. The food was excellent with more than ample portions. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Very good experience all around. Incredibly friendly staff and both times I went the food was very good. Worth a visit!
We had dinner here last week. The food was quite good, like homemade, and the prices were very reasonable. I would recommend them!
Food was ok. Chicken was dry in middle. Not the best chicken marsala. Dont like big pieces of chicken. No one can beat Canalis. Side of pasta was very small for both my husband and mine . Kind of pricey, disappointed.
Very nice home atmosphere. Friendly service but slow. Which wouldn't have been a real problem if they just dropped off some bread as they promised 4 times. They repeatedly passed our table to seat others, serve others, check out others. Then theong wait for salad, which was good. Main course was delicious, huge portion. I would go back.
Utica greens very good just know it's very spicy, wings extra crispy very good. Pizzas also very well liked by others in my group. Small salad with crispy chicken very good. Will try some Italian dinners in the future, just not an option for this group tonight.
Our dinners were all very good. Their eggplant parmigiana was excellent, sauce super tasty and cooked to perfection. Server was friendly, responsive and super courteous. Definitely will be going back to Demarcos....maybe try out the pizza.
Food was good, Chicken Parm and Chicken Alfredo. Served hot from the kitchen. Both came with a side salad and bread. Our only complaint was that it took nearly one hour to receive our main dishes, 40 minutes to receive our salads and it was not busy and there were several open tables available during our entire visit. I'm not sure what the issue was that caused such delayed service.
Our family was warmly welcomed into DeMarco's Italian Restaurant as we celebrated a gathering from Massachusetts, North Carolina, and Florida with members from 5 to 75 years old. DeMarco's was the perfect place for this gathering with its diverse menu and warm, accommodating service that allowed us all to enjoy each others' company and get caught up with family. Everyone ordered something different and all declared themselves satisfied, from the pizza to the chicken cutlets, to the veal, to the scampi.
This is a restaurant like on your next door, cozy and friendly warm atmosphere you can feel at home. The server was really nice and friendly, and the portions of food is so big! One meal is like for two people. The reason for 4 stars is because the pastas we had a little blant and less sauces. We needed to use salt.
First time visit. Companion and I had dinner and drinks. Greeted warmly, promptly seated, met our waitress who took our drink order and gave us enough time to look over our menus. Companion ordered an eggplant dish and I had the “Winter Pasta”. Both meals were delicious and portions were beyond ample (to go portions). Companion ordered the house Merlot and I had their 19 Crimes red blend. High marks for both. Give DeMarco’s a try. They have a great chef in their kitchen. 2 👍 thumbs up. Bob & Anne 😋
Demarco's is a very casual traditional Italian restaurant. I was happy and surprised to find out I was there on a Tuesday which happened to be a Chicken Parmesan special night. Salad, dinner with pasta for $11.99. The salad was very good, fresh mixed greens, red onion and cherry tomatoes. The dressing was clearly homemade, I had parmesan peppercorn and it was rich and creamy and delicious! I asked for rigatoni for my pasta without tomato sauce and asked for maybe some butter and olive oil. They really delivered, it was in a buttery garlicy oil with a hint of crushed black pepper. What a nice surprise. It was also delicious. The chicken parmesan was a very juicy large breast well seasoned and breaded and cooked perfectly. The top was layered with a lightly browned mozzarella and dusted with parmesan. I usually like my parm thin and crisp, but this was so well prepared, tender and juicy inside with that golden mozzarella on top, what's not to like? We also had some greens and beans, it had large chunks of bacon, beans and greens. I highly recommend this but keep in mind it's a huge portion, we had some left overs. The waitress was friendly and attentive, we never waited for anything and she was very busy. Good stuff, we had plenty of leftovers!
Meal deals are a great value! The service is good but the food wasn't great. I'll give them another try at least.
Nicer inside then out, give it a try... would've given it 4 stars if they hadn't been so heavy handed with the red sauce on everything, and if they offered a real side Cesar salad. (No Romaine, croutons, or shredded parmesean)
Been here before. It's a good spot. It not high end Italian but it's good. I gave today a 3. The soda was flat. We ordered Rum and Coke. The seafood amare. My wife said was great. I had the Veal Parmagiana. Very tasty. My only gripe is way too much sauce. My one final thought would be to allow the customers to put their dressing on. The dressing was already on. And it was way to much. All in all it wasn't a bad experience. We will probably return as we live right down the road. We used to order pizza from them along time ago. Their pizza was always very good. Need to order it again from there.
Nice atmosphere portion size of my Salmon was small draft beer wasn't cold enough for my taste. My wife really enjoyed her eggplant parm. Overall nice experience just a little lacking
I wish I could give more food was awesome waiter awesome the bad part it was a group of 5 for a bday for my fiancé sister are meal was around 260 gave her a awesome tip 70bucks bad thing could never come back in the middle of the meal and watching the basketball game talking having fun there was a huge mouse when I say big big we had to stump and stop him from coming over it was officially time to go good food but that mouse staying out doing my dinner looking like he ate better then me was enough.
Under new management - obviously. With many open tables, tried to seat us at a tiny table at the wall between the bathrooms. Really? Tried to put others there, too. Just get rid of that table. Seems like a wall has been taken out - noise from the bar was intrusive. Salads were not impressive. My chicken piccatta had much grease and little lemon. Waitress was not attentive. We used to come here regularly. Now I don't think so.
This was our 2nd time there. We had a great experience the first visit unfortunately tonight was a disappointment. Once we placed our order we were ignored for over 30 minutes which is when our salad arrived....must say it was an amazing salad and their homemade dressings were the highlight of the meal.....then we were ignored for 40 more minutes. We stopped the bus boy to ask him to follow up on our meal. 5 minutes later our waitress stopped at the table to tell us it should be just a few more minutes. Our meal did arrive soon after. Portions were small. Linguini and clams were bland. The chicken marsala was tasty. Not the place to go if you are in a hurry or hungry.
Service wonderful. Chicken parmigiana use to be my highlight of my trip up north. Not any longer. Its seems to be deep fried and not pounded thin like it use to be. Dry and not as flavorful. So disappointed.
This might be the worst Italian place in the capital region. I"ve tried different dishes and it doesnt matter what it is, the food is AWFUL. Rubbery chicken, salsa textured sauce. The garlic parm wings CLEARLY just had huge spoonfuls of jarred minced garlic dumped on top and the saddest, tiniest sprinkling of parmesan. The only reason to come here was to get some beers and visit with Jen, who was amazing with customers, but I was informed she's gone now, so goodbye and good riddance forever.
Had dinner there tonight with my family. What began as a nice family dinner, ended with the manager completely disrespecting us. We made reservations because a friend told us the food & service were excellent. The food was pretty good. I had the chicken parm. Their red sauce could use some sugar. It was a little bitter, but everyone else seem to enjoy their meals & the portions were generous. The one star is for the food only! The problems began when we asked the waitress for separate checks. The manager came to tell us and said that they could not do separate checks because we did not tell them ahead of our meals. FINE. She also expressed her frustration by telling us in a crowded dinning room that we were only supposed to be there for 2 hours because they had another group coming in after us. She claimed to have told us when the reservation was made. FIRST, What type of restaurant gives people a time limit to eat? Not even McDonald’s or any other fast food establishment does this. If she had told us that, we would have Taken our business some where else and not made the reservation! She proceeded to argue with us , when we told her we had no idea that we only had 2 hours to eat. Did that include the extra time it took to bring the entree that dropped on the way to us. SECOND, she blamed us for her over booking! She always had the option to say no to our reservation! THIRD, it was blatantly obvious we were the only table that she had the problem with and was rushing to leave. And, FINALLY, it’s no coincidence we were the only people of color in the whole establishment. And the only patrons that they didn’t want there. The whole evening was ruined by the managers inability to manage and she blamed us for it when we didn’t eat quick enough! She also ruined the waitresses tip on a $300+ bill. Needless to say, Me or my family will NEVER eat here again! And, We will make sure everyone knows about the disrespect and discrimination we experienced.
So awful....that I took the time to create a yelp account to post about it. First time diner. We knew right away when our salads came out we were in for it. Kens blue cheese dressing with rusty lettuce . A huge soggy tomato . My husband ordered a burger and I ordered the chicken/eggplant parm. His burger was completly burned. Took one bite and immediately flagged the waitress down. My first bite, super greasy eggplant and the chicken was so Tough i almost spit it out. If I had to guess their fryers and grill needed some serious cleaning. The poor waitress felt awful. Luckily they did take our meals off our bill. Will not be back.
The food was delicious with good sized portions. The wait staff wasn't prompt and attentive, the staff didn't ask us what we would like until 30 mins after being seated and then the food was given to us an hour later.
Ordered and picked up chicken parm tonight. The chicken was so tough could barely cut it with a steak knife.
Had to be worst experiene ever. There were 3 of us. It took almost 15 min to be greeted by waitress. When it came time to order, waitress said we are out of clams and chickrn parm. As it so happens one of us was ready to order clams and 2 of us chicken parm. I said ok I will have shrimp and broccoli. Guess what, out of broccoli. I told her there is a price chopper down the street. After we checked menu again we ordered 3 meals. It took close to 1 hour before it was served. There's more but I won't mention it.
We had not been there in 10 years. Used to have great pizza. Were told the new owners bought it 6 years ago. Pizza came and was black. I mean it was burnt to death. The spinich looked like burned leaves. We told the waitress it was burnt before she put it down she acted like it was a surprise to her. I asked if it did not look burned to her. She said no. But then she asked if we wanted another pizza. I said yes. She knew. She brought a new pizza. It was terrible. Cheap mozerella. More like cottage cheese. This is not the old Demarcos. We will not be going back. Don't watse your time.
Went to the bar and was ignored. We stood there for at least 10 minutes for a drink and a person that was sitting at the bar asked for another drink and was served before us. I walked out . Don’t need my business I guess! I will never go back! Good riddance! Was looking forward to ordering food to go but went elsewhere! Shame on you!!
I stopped there to have a pizza and I had had pizza there before but it was real long time ago but I ordered a onion and pepper Pizza could not find more than a couple of onion bits and the red peppers were mushy tasted like they were pickled out of a jar. The whole thing was salty as hell. And the crust sucked every drop of saliva from my mouth. Still it seemed it was well patronized mostly the bar. The waitress was gruff. I went to put my card in the leather check holder and she said "I hate when people do that" lol. When I tried to give her the tip she said " Just throw it on the table".
Just left there after a 3 hour dinner! Party of eight. Was told It was under new ownership! It was only there 3rd week. It took forever for them to take our order. We ordered our drinks and apps. They were out of a few things. After 30 minutes we got some of our appetizers. Waitress didn't take our dinner order until just before our apps came. Dinner started coming out about an hour later. Not everything came! Sides of pasta came out after we were done with Dinner! The waitress apologized and said she would comp us some drinks. Not only did she not comp anything she charged 2 prices for the same two glasses of wine I had. Would have liked more drinks but she never came back to the table. Used to love this place! Drove 35 minutes to go to dinner here. We will not be going back!! I believe the owner or manager sat at the bar all night! One of the wait staff asked him about coming in to work the next day. How can he not see how bad everything was going. We were not the only other tables there all night!! Food was not as good as it used to be either. Sad sad night..
Got the chicken parm. The sauce has a funky taste and very dry. The sauce was more of a salsa texture. Weird. Got a salad with no onions until it came with onions. If I didn’t want onions, I would have appreciated a heads up on the onions in your sauce?
I just called this restaurant to place a big catering order worth thousands of dollars and the girl who answered the phone was so extremely rude. Told me she was busy and hung up on me. It’s too bad they just lost my business. I cannot believe they would have someone who answers the phone like that. I’ll take my business elsewhere.
I recently ate at DeMarcos for the first time. 5:30 and the place was packed. I thought that was a good sign. It took a long time for a wait staff to come to our table. She wasn't very friendly. Only one person ordered wine. The rest of us had water. The wine arrived after quite a while. Then another wait to have our order taken. The food arrived quickly. The pasta dishes with our meal were not very hot. One companion had asked for extra sauce but it was not brought with our meal. No one ever came to our table to check on our dinners. We did notice that the wait staff spent a long time chatting with customers that were regular diners. We finally asked the table busser for more sauce. After waiting , again we asked the table busser for a dessert menu. It took a long time again for the wait staff to take our order for dessert. The food was good, better if it was hot. The service was terrible. We will not go back.
Saturday Sept 21 we decided to go to Demarcus for dinner. We had been there a couple of other times and always had good food and service. This was not to be tonight The waitress, Sue, waited on us. We were cordial and polite to her. Our meal was not good We did not complain we just didn't eat the macaroni. It was very very hard. I had asked her for well done macaroni. When we were done she came over and asked if we wanted a box and I told her no the macaroni was very hard So brought me the check The gentleman sitting next us turned to me and said the macaroni was hard. At that point she turned around to me and said. You don't have to talk to your neighbor and complain. I told her he started the conversation. She was the worst, rudest arrogant waitress I have ever had. She basically started treating me not very nice. We will not be going back to your restaurant. I wouldn't want someone like her working in
