was in ablany a few weeks back with my girl friend and we decided to try them out. well all i can say was not disappointed but very impressed with the subs we got i tried 2 the godfather and the cowboy she built her own the taste, quality , and the bread OMG hands down the best sub i have had in years. I drove for a living and have been all the country and had some amazing subs but in new england this is one of the best i have had other that in delis in boston and new york city the best i have had and will be back the next time i am in town you have to try them you will love the taste and quaility
I hate to say it because it's a chain, but I think this is my favorite sub in town. If you're like me and you usually try to eat local, it's OK if you make an exception for this place. I always do. The sub rolls are always great and I love the house dressing. It's defiantly no subway! Lol
If you're getting subs, get from here! I had their meatball subs and old-fashioned subs, and it's worth it!
Manager at night has this place running like a well oiled machine, very informative and made our subs perfect- definitely going back to this one!!! Exactly what you want, nothing you don't! Amazing service and very polite and friendly employees! 5 stars
I live 25-30 minutes away from DiBella's Subs. They make the best sub sandwiches. It's definitely worth the trip! Their staff are very friendly!
the most wonderful italian subs you can find outside of NYC or NJ. the bread is made in-house and incredible. i make a point to stop here every time i'm in albany. try the uncle louie.
Killer sub. Honestly I know they have a lot of locations and it turned me off at first but as someone who's from downstate and is really nitpick-y when it comes to subs i was IMPRESSED. This place actually blows the competition in the area away. Bread is 10/10. good meats and fresh veggies for a reasonable price with fast service. You will be getting much much more of my business.
Visiting Albany, NY on our semi-annual trips back to NYS would not be complete without placing a sub order at DiBella’s on Western Ave. We ordered the large Spicy Sausage sub on Thursday on their store baked “everything” bread. It was huge and my husband and I still had a 1/4 of the sandwich left after splitting the sub. The staff are wonderful and the inside of DiBella’s is very clean. Every sub from their extensive menu choices that we’ve ever ordered is fantastic. There are numerous vegetables and condiments choices to add into the sub at no extra cost.
I ordered online for pickup and was really pleased with everything. My food was ready 15 minutes after I placed the order. I ordered an Italian sub. Everything was fresh and good, from the bread to the meat to the veggies. Could not have been better.
Very good old fashioned subs hot and cold, highly recommend
Ez to order by phone. Become a member and buy 1 get 1 free sub to open membership. Freshly baked sub bread and tasty fresh fillings: tuna salad, turkey and hot toasty meatball subs. My whole family was happy. It was busy and fast and clean!
My brother & I just finished eating our delicious steak subs with all the trimmings. The service was excellent and the staff was very professional, courteous & most helpful. I highly recommend eating at or take out at Dibella's Subs!
DiBella's has a large selection of great subs to choose from. All their meats, toppings, and condiments always taste fresh. I definitely recommend trying the Godfather on an everything roll with their house oil! Service is usually very quick and there is a lot of indoor seating available.
I'm a recent transplant to Albany, and I hadn't found a place for a sub that made me want to return again... until I found Dibellas! This place has THE best sandwiches I've had in Albany, and I've tried a LOT in the last year! The rolls are to die for, and there is enough meat where you actually taste it! I love how they help you build the sandwich and the staff were patient and walked me through their ordering process. Not that it's difficult, I just have ADHD and I'm easily distracted ;) I will definitely be returning here again and again and I've told all my family I will be bringing them here when they come to visit also!
Great subs! They make huge subs you really get your moneys worth and the ingredients taste good. Well made, restaurant seating has a nice atmosphere with historic pictures about the shop.
Biggest sub ever, all different types of cold cuts,. Pay as you please. If your short a few pennies they let you go. Very clean. Most have good attitudes. Very low priced. Small sub can fill you up.
Without question the best sub I've ever eaten. My go-to is the Godfather... Today I ordered a medium sized through thier app and for the 1st time chose to have it grilled. Wow! It's like falling in love all over again! Restaurant is clean and staff is very friendly. COVID protocols followed by all. Started chomping before I remembered to take pics for this review... Oh well! 😋
Caitlin is fantastic, huge change at this location when she took over.
So lately I've been ordering Dibellas again after a long hiatus due to getting inedible sandwiches. I haven't had them in over two years. Let's just say I've started ordering again two weeks ago and haven't stopped since. The sandwiches are absolutely delicious! EDIT: I absolutely love my Dibellas. They are back on top with their sandwiches and I order all the time. Thanks for the awesome sandwiches 💯.
Delicious subs, good service and great deals.
My husband and I had been driving for 7 hours, and our son was a restless 2.5 year old. They were very understanding and made me feel better about my son being a bit louder than usual (happy about being out of the car). The food was ready within 5 minutes and made fresh. I will say that out of all my years of eating subs, I have never had a steak and cheese like this. The bread is something out of this world! Even my husband (who ordered the Uncle Louie on everything bagel ) said this was a 10/10. Will be 'passing through' again with family
I ordered three subs online the day before we got that ginormous snow storm last week. I came in and all three were done and packed ready to go! I got a Dagwood! Uncle Louie, and a Godfather(all 14"). They were all made exactly to order and they all tasted great, even when I got to the 3rd one two days later. I would highly recommend the subs and I highly recommend using the online account to order as it actually gives you an approximate time that your order will be ready. I have since ordered two more times and my Italian meatball subs(10") were great. Just the right amount of all the ingredients, just enough sauce and cheese.
I love DiBella's Subs! There always fresh and delicious.. One time I couldn't get there in time for pickup up before closing they were kind enough to wait till I could get there . No attitude just politeness.
The best subs in the area. Fresh, great tasting rolls and premium meats. Great tasting subs!!
This place makes the best sandwiches in town. You definitely won't be disappointed 😊
It is always worthwhile getting a Sub here. made fresh My favorite is the multigrain bread. The Dagwood or select are my goto choiced.
Such a lovely place for our team to go and eat together. Great service and communication for a very large order. The team enjoyed their sandwiches very much. A spot we will definitely return to when we are in the Albany area!
The have so many delicious hot and cold subs, I get a new one every time and have not been disappointed. Try a philly or a Dagwood. They will make it fast and the staff will be friendly and efficient. Great for lunch or dinner.
We had subs for dinner Saturday night. They were good but the bread was too much. We like thinner bread, this bread was very thick and heavy. We ate it but I cut pare of mine off the top. It seemed dry. Maybe it's just me ,my husband loved it ,but he's a bread man.
I love the godfather sub. I was there on Wednesday June 23rd. At 1 pm. There were 3 people in front of me. It still took 15 minutes to get my sub. I am never disappointed with the subs. But just like other places. There are more people working on grubhub, delivery and such. And not enough attention to the person standing right in front of them. This is a reason I don't go to places like this more. I know staff may be a issue. I still won't go anywhere else for my sub. But the person waiting on me was polite. Steve
I definitely encourage anyone to try DiBella's if you are in the mood for a sub. I really enjoy their bread and usually think this is one of the best parts of the sub. Sesame or everything flavors get my vote. Their hot subs are great, I'd recommend trying the DiBella's Dip on everything style bread. I haven't been disappointed by any sub I've tried, but still need to try the Chicken Caesar and Albacore Tuna Salad. One thing I will say about ordering a hot sub is it does take significantly longer to make than a cold one, but to be expected. Lines can get rather large during busy times, but they do tend to keep moving. I usually go with a large sized sub as it's plenty big to cut in half and make 2 smaller meals out of it. Their cookies are great and I've tried one of their salads too with no complaints. Bang for the buck, I think it's a great deal and I'll continue to eat at DiBella's.
Turkey sub, on an everything roll, dressed with roasted red peppers lettuce onion, some of their hot pepper relish, swiss cheese and a bit of Russian dressing. Everything nice and fresh. I like the fact that you can mix all different kinds of condiments whatever you want. Didn't get any cookies this trip but they are really good!
Excellent Philly cheese steaks, great fresh baked bread. Latham location far better than Albany.
2nd visit. The Original Italian was great. The Philly cheesteak (loaded) didn't have much flavor. Staff is friendly, booths n tables could use a little more wiping down but look around and you will find a clean one
Way better than subway. They are usually 4 or 5 people ready to serve you around lunch time so you get your food pretty quickly. The subs have plenty of meat. The large sub is actually a pretty big sub so no need for a side.
Dramatically less meat and cheese than in past times, literally less than half. Asked for tricut and assured it would be, wasn't. 30 minute wait for one cold sandwich. Not sure what's going on, this used to be my favorite place.
Di’Bella’s is an institution in Albany - and for good reason. Di’Bella’s began in Rochester in 1918. Their bread is baked in house, their ingredients are fresh, and their meat is of a higher quality. The atmosphere is dripping in their storied history and dining in feels like dining in a working museum. The downfall of Di’Bellas is the price point for their +7 inch subs and their artificially retro vibe. The only meal deal they had at the time of my visit was a mini meal with a 5 inch sub, 20oz drink, and chips, cookie or pickle for $9.99. For the price point, it’s a valid deal. If you want any sub bigger than that, however, it’s somewhat costly. I ordered conservatively and had the 7 inch Di’Bella Cheesesteak with a large drink and a pickle. Cheesesteak: $9.79, drink $2.99 and a pickle is $1.49. All together my meal cost about $14.27. For a more casual, laid back restaurant without wait staff, $14.27 seemed excessive. I recognize they use fresher ingredients and bake their bread in-house but there are certainly cheaper options in Albany with similar qualities. The other compliant I have is the interior of the restaurant which was the artificial retro vibe of the tables and benches. The tables and benches need a serious upgrade. It took away from the down-home vibe they were hoping to achieve with Di’Bella’s story written on the walls. With the aggressive 2010s harsh coloring, bright lighting, and artificial retro tables and benches it seems as though the restaurant can’t decide which era or genre it is hoping to emulate. Having said all of that, Di’Bella’s flavor is worth the visit alone. They take care of every quality of the sandwich and it shows. If you like high quality subs and exploring time honored restaurants, this restaurant is for you.
Old school feel in the restaurant area. Easy to order at the counter. Several choices of bread were fresh and soft. Good amount of meat. My only comment is that all the toppings went in first so only one side of the sub is seasoned while the other side is dry. Adding the meats first then the toppings would be an easy fix and make this a 5 star experience.
Decided to finally try this place out after hearing about them months ago. The sub was very good, and the bread in particular stands out. It was obviously fresh and perfect for a sub. The amount of ingredients for the price was also fair, but I’m only giving 4 stars. The food was very good, but the staff ignored my one request: no tomatoes. It was quick and easy to pickup, but if you need something omitted that can’t easily be removed like tomato slices or have a food allergy I’d advise taking your business elsewhere.
DiBella’s Subs is a go to lunch place every time I find myself in the Albany area. Good and hearty subs with delicious “everything” bread. Service is generally quick and with a smile, but the ordering process can be a little confusing to a first timer. Plenty of seating in this location but it didn’t seem like anyone was wiping down the tables during a busy lunch rush. Can’t wait to have another sub soon!
Amazing subs, mediocre service. While their food is miles above subway and the like some of their workers have the customer service skills the equivalent of an angry pitbull and all the motivation of a zombie. My latest example comes from the last time I had called in an order and right from the start the worker on the other end acted as if I was asking her to run a triathlon bare foot. So great was my request of one medium sub that she sighed not once, not twice, but three times and even answered the phone with a "Yeah?" Even upon thanking her at the end her reply was another sigh followed by hanging up. I have no idea what I did to have this worker act so dreadfully put upon, but I have learned not to call in and to simply show up in person to make my order. Saves the frustration of having to be treated so poorly for using the services provided.
If you need to raise prices slightly... do so. Dont sell me a God Father w 1 slice of everything on a 14 in
Food is very good and old fashioned concept is a great idea. 5 stars. Rated 3 stars however because I've been there 3 times and each time they have snotty, apathetic kids working there who just suck and I always leave with a bad feeling.. Enough so to write this review in the parking lot.
Subs are good, they have lots of choices. They also make it to order which is neat. Definitely prefer to subway but it's a similar style as far as sub shops go. Prices are reasonable.
Ordered a medium cheesesteak through DoorDash and was very disappointed in the quality. Steak stack was almost non existent, hardly any cheese, and overcooked. I honestly felt like I was eating a bread sandwich. I’m giving it 3 stars because normally their sandwiches are really good. But, tonight it was not so good.
The subs are good but they sell yesterday's potato and macaroni salad. Went with a buddy and the potato salad tasted off, they allowed him to get a different one so he grabbed macaroni salad. I guess the 2nd one tasted fine but he could tell it was old. For the prices and everything I'd expect they make that stuff fresh. I guess not.
Bread was a little stale. I had the BLT and the bacon tasted way over smoked. Tomatoes were very small. I t just want quality.
Everybody there seemed pleasant and my order a ready when I arrived. I only have 1 start less because I didn’t think the sandwich is worth getting again and not for their price. This was my first time trying their subs and their was nothing special about the bread, meat or anything. I’ll stick to Miranda’s Deli in Albany
Tonight about 20-30 mins before closing - Second time sub wasn't made right in the last 5 times I've been there. The order taker used a thick-inked sharpie to mark up the tiny little items on the order card. Hey guys - use a pen!!! No wonder it was made wrong. The guy who was supposed to take my order was busy so a lazy girl standing around took it after she searched around for that sharpie.Still, it's a good sub and I'll try again later this week. (Last time it was done wrong the Manager took care of it right away).
Loved The Godfather sub. The roll was so fresh. However, not crazy about the help. First person to greet me was rude, unfriendly and mean. Unless she is just prejudice against old, fat white women I am not sure what her problem was. Certainly not the person I would have at the front of my store greeting customers as they enter. The gentleman who finally helped me was very nice, helpful and courteous. First time having a DiBella sub. Sunday September 27th at 1:20 pm
I ordered two Godfather subs—one on multigrain with no onions and one on regular Italian with onions. Unfortunately, the onions ended up on the wrong sandwich. Both were supposed to have oil and vinegar, but there was clearly no vinegar on either. On top of that, the sandwiches were sloppily assembled, and the meat portion was noticeably skimpy. I usually enjoy DiBella’s and have had good experiences in the past, but today was a real letdown. Had I been near the store when I opened them, I would have gone back to have them remade. It might be time for DiBella’s to revisit their employee training—at least at their Albany location on Western Ave. Very disappointing.
I used to like the meatball sub. The last 2 times, it gave me gastro issues. That was too bad as I could never have another. And i did like the taste.I will try to try another type of sub sometime.
This place has really gone downhill. Was well known for producing a sub that is too tall you couldn't get the top and bottom to fit in your mouth. I ordered yesterday the 23rd. I ordered for about 8 people as it was a business lunch. An indication the order wasn't exactly cheap. The sandwiches were barren. One in particular was the worst. Particularly was a 10 inch turkey. One piece of turkey on the entire sub. Torn in half and placed side to side. Sub felt weird in its bag as I noticed it was fairly flat and thin. I wasn't about to leave work to go complain and get a replacement. I will rather just not buy from there next time. It's always been an office favorite, and we make at least 2 large orders a month. Jersey Mike's burned us this way as well twice. I don't like getting burned twice, so I'll just avoid giving the second chance. It's too bad really.
1st time customer. Sausage sandwich was absolutely great, 😋. However the person at the register that took our order was a waste, he treated myself and my wife with pure silence and no explanation about anything or how to order. Why he was even bothering to work there was beyond me. Unfortunately there are so many other places to eat, we won't be back.
Paid $2.50 to add bacon to a medium sub, no bacon was on the sandwich, but of course we didn't know that until getting home and the family was too hungry to take the time to head back to Dibellas. If you pay for something and then it's not provided to you, did they steal from you? Kind of feels like it. Otherwise the sandwiches were fine, but we'll probably stick with jersey Mike's instead.
First time in this restaurant. The food was your average subway equivalent. I ordered the cheesesteak. The sandwich flavor was delightful however the bread was refrigerator cold. The staff was helpful and cordial. The seating area was full of dirty tables. The door entering the place was noticeably dirty I didn’t pay attention until I was sitting. 6 or 7 people were working and it seemed realistic that someone could clean up.
Another sub chain that provides very little meat (they weigh out less than 3 ounces of thinly sliced meat for a $6 sub) and very few veggies (requested peppers were sparse). Bread was decent, but I'm buying a sub, not a roll. I'll stick with the true Italian deli across the street from now on.
They recently Changed the bacon they use on sandwiches and it’s a HUGE downgrade, why spend 10-15$ on a sub that doesn’t have great ingredients, I used to love their food. Recent changes have turned this place into a slightly better subway, bring back your quality!
The reason why this is a 2 star because of how the manager took care of the situation--- other wise I wish I could give zero stars for my visit. THIS IS THE WORST EXPERINCE I EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!! I visited the store on 5/13/2019. I placed my order on Grubhub about 20 mins before I walked in, when I arrived, the cashier said it was being made and there were a lot of orders, which I understand and waited. During my wait, the cashier kept checking on the empty bag to make sure my name and order, but that is all she did for the next 20 mins. By then I already placed the order for about 40 minutes. The person by the grill (One with yellow hair) kept saying to the cashier “I do not have the order” “I don’t know who took the order” instead of starting to make my order. Meanwhile they never came to me letting me know they actually didn’t make it at all, I only know this because I overheard them taking in front of me. So I then asked the cashier “Is anyone going to start making it or should I keep waiting?” because all they been doing is pushing responsibilities around. I DO NOT CARE WHO TOOK THE ORDER, I AM NOT SUPPOSE TO WAIT 40 MINS FOR SOMETHING I ORDERED IN ADVANCE, WHEN EVERYONE ORDERED AFTER ME ALREADY LEFT!! When I said that, the cashier said “ I AM SORRY BUT I ONLY HAVE ONE PERSON COOKING” and kept repeating it no matter what I said. The problem is I’ve been waiting for so long and it does not matter how many cooks you have, it should be done by now. And even when she was arguing with me about how “busy” they were, my order is still not being made, and the girl by the grill was so annoyed by how I asked? Well, should I just keep waiting until whenever there is no costumers so you can start working on it? Anyway, the manager asked to refund me, I said it is not about the money, it is how the service was so TERRIBLE and even when it is their fault that they did not make it and lied saying it was being made, they still try to tell me they are busy, only have one cook and it is not their fault and I should just keep waiting and I should not be asking them where is my order. When I was about the leave after the manager made my order, the cashier lady sarcastically said :HAVE A GOOD DAY! Which just worsen my experience at this location even more. I will be reaching out to the corporate office regarding this visit and the employees involved because it is just absolutely terrible and I am pretty sure no other costumers will want this to happen to them. Again, this is only two stars because the manager handled it professionally.
Food is always great, service is always awful. There is at least 5-8 people working at a time…Some doing work, others standing around talking amongst themsleves and not helping customers or doing online orders. It makes me not want to come here anymore but the food is too good to resist.
It seems like it should be really good, but it's always soggy! I think the lettuce (that they use waaaaay too much of) is super wet and it ruins the bread, making it mostly inedible. Sad!
Very first time Going to dibella subs and I won’t be back. I read about it online like how fresh their Sub rolls are so that’s what really drew me to go there and try it. Save yourself the money the bread was so hard I could barely bite into it or enjoy my sandwich for that matter. They obviously gave me some stale sub. Not for nothing I told the guy was my first time there and I needed a minute because I never ordered there before thinking he would think brand new customer give her a fresh roll, but now it was stale Not to mention, I went at 3 o’clock. They’re dead time no one was in there, except for one person already eating and a manager on his computer in the back corner. Needless to say it took them almost 12 minutes to prepare a 5 inch sub a cold one at that. Then, while cashing me out having a full-blown conversation with another employee, not taking my money promptly and causing me to wait while he counts change, because he hast to finish his conversation because he couldn’t do two things at one time. 15 minutes for a stale sub not worth the time or the money
The food is okay depending on which location you go to, but do not order delivery ESPECIALLY if you have a large order, and especially not through door dash. This location alone has cancelled our group orders multiple times, messed up orders, or just didn't include all the sandwiches and then when you go to pick up they claim they "threw it out". Seriously, save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.
I use to like Dibellas subs, but lately everytime I have gone I have been disappointed with the quality. Latest and last trip my chicken Philly had about 6 chucks of chicken (literally next to no meat) all i tasted was bread and BBQ sauce...chocolate chip cookies are still delicious.
The most profoundly mediocre meatball sub I've ever had. 2 meatballs.... And no sauce. Go to subway instead it will literally be better than this place.
My gf and I usually love and rave about this place. Unfortunately the last time we ate there we both got very sick within the hour. I don't know if it was the meat itself or cross contamination. We both had to take the next two days off from work , very disappointed.
Ordered a turkey and cheese with several add ons and I got a turkey and cheese with mayo, the steak and cheese was in chunks and not cooked through, looked like burger meat. Called and spoke with a female manager who was nothing short of condescending and dismissive. Spoke with Art the GM who advised order would be remade and delivered. Art needs a raise, professional and courteous. Go Art!
It was my first time going there today. Ordered a Italian mix girl who made it was clueless on how to make the sub then I got to checkout...8 dollars for a small sub or will say 5”. I’m not familiar with the place like I said it’s my first time going to a debella but there is absolutely no way they can compete with Genoa in loudonville
I ordered online and showed up a few minutes before my expected pick up time. Normally the dibellas in Latham is quick to get the order done so I figured it would be the case for this store as well. I was wrong. It took them 15 minutes after my order was supposed to be ready to even start making the sandwich! On top of that they put mushrooms on it when it wasn’t ordered. Staff was very lackadaisical and unconcerned. Cookie was raw
Two weeks in a row I received garbage from this Dibella's. Ordered a large grilled chicken bacon ranch with bacon lettuce tomato black olives cucumbers provolone and ranch dressing. I received a large sub roll with very little meat and nothing else on it. If I could post the photos I would.
Never order from this place we ordered as a group from work. We paid 10 dollars fo delivery and was missing a meal and other items. And the salad I got was brown and the chicken was slimy. Then when we called to tell them the forgot items they said to pick it up when we paid for delivery. Never order from this place
Horrible customer service ever!! I understand if mix up happens, but when you try to make the costumer feel like they are stupid I have a serious problem with that!! I personally love DiBellas subs, but clearly never will oder from western ave again! Be honest and sincere and you'll see the difference! Thanks
Today is the last time I go to Dibella's. The past few times the subs were a mess. When you put veggies and meats on the they should extend the length of the bread. I should not have 2 inches of mouth fulls of bread when eating the ends. Not to mention the last 2 times the subs were in correct. When I ask for mayo, not oil and get both. It's not that hard. Today, 1:40 pm....you run out of meatballs? 1:40pm? I know you were busy but that is no excuse for poor planning. When you know you are running low on something that needs to be heated, you get the processes going. You don't wait until you out and then just start telling people you have no more. That is the worst management ever. Get your act together. Because when you do have ingredients and the subs are made properly, they're not had. No Cardona's or Sainatos subs, but better than subway or Mr.subs, who just got my business. And one last thing....how in the world do you call yourself a sub shop and NOT HAVE PEPPERONI? Who is the genius who came up with that idea? Absolutely unheard of anywhere and everywhere else.
Very dissappointed with our order. The bread was VERY stale, like from yesterday stale. We asked for specifics that were ignored. One sub was a cheese sub that only had one slice of cheese. Some people don't eat meat. If you're ordering a cheese sub, it's supposed have more than one slice of cheese. The veggies were limp. If someone asks for hot peppers on the side, they mean it. This isn't brain surgery. How hard is it to get it right? Neither of us could eat our sandwiches, they were that bad. Big waste of money. Won't be ordering again.
Sometimes my coworkers unfortunately choose this place for lunch. Today was the 4th or 5th time in the past year or so that they left off ingredients that come with the sandwich. Today it was peppers and onions. Last time it was cheese. That’s right, no cheese on a cheesesteak. What a silly world.
I went into order a chicken Philly and usually I have a good experience at DiBella‘s. The subs are really good, but lately they’ve been kind of on the decline. I went in today to get a chicken sandwich and not only did they take 20 minutes to make the sandwich, but people after me got their subs before me. I didn’t really notice this because I went out to make a phone call, thinking that my sandwich is going to be made as soon I ordered. When I got the sandwich, it was incorrect. I had to go back up and say that my sandwich was incorrect. The girl rolled her eyes at me and gave me attitude , I just was severely disappointed today especially spending $19 on a sandwich hopefully DiBella’s recovers but quite frankly I don’t want to go back as of today like I said I usually think that they make the best sandwiches but they’ve been on the decline as of the last year. Sandwich was Ok at best.
Service was deplorable. Waited as several other received their order. When I asked they drilled me on my order. finally someone walked over to a counter in the back picked up a sandwich and threw it down on the counter in front of me and said “ there it is”. And walked away. They couldn’t bother to see that had been waiting. Tho as I was leaving a very polite employee (female) was very nice and Apologized.
Every time I order for take out, with extra cheese, it is ignored and I still paid for it. They must be trained to ignore extra cheese. The total amount of cheese on the sandwich is a single thin layer. That is how they roll.
I went to the Dibella's by SUNY. I had a very simple order. i got home the sub had no meat. i had to to go back to the store, and get the order corrected. i believe for the trouble i went to, they should have offered a gift card that equals the value of the original order. they totally wasted my time.
I try to order 2 "meal deals " a 5" sub special. The site only aloud 1 meal deal order, the second order went to full price. I tried to order the second order as a separate order, but now it was rejecting the credit card that I used for the first order. I was forced to order my second order at the counter. I told the sandwich maker that I wanted the $9.99 "meal deal " .... I wasn't charged $9.99, but full price! An update.... Corporation said that they would talk to the manager... and nothing more
Holy cow this place was awful. Let me be clear the lunch crew works hard and gets orders out the door. The night crew how ever was the absolute worst. Took 15 minutes to make a chicken salad...there was one other person waiting for food on the grill as well. There was no line. Every employee, all three were clearly high as a kite. Moved like lava and talked at a level one. Couldn't hear or understand what any of them were saying. No apologies for how long it took. Guess I wouldn't get one because the last brain cell was being flushed out of their head...
Ordered online. Walk in to pick up the order and the “manager” was yelling and being unprofessional behind the counter. The customers waiting were by far NOT her priority. Only 2 employees working, the rest were circling the drama between the manager and another employee screaming at each other behind the counter. DIRTY food prep area!
I walked in and there are 5 people here just staring at me giving me dirty looks. I was standing there for 10 minutes and no one was making my sandwich until I said something. The manager tried to make it right but now they already put me in a bad mood. Don't go here. You'll bother them
We've ordered multiple times within the past few weeks. Only to have to wait 20 mins after my pick up time because the cookies we ordered weren't done yet. No mention of that when i got there to pick up the order. Today a sandwich was missing. We didn't know until my wife got home. When i called, i was told i can come pick it up, not an option we were expecting, they wouldn't have it delivered. I was then told i could call the next day for a refund. Next Day? No, not an acceptable answer. After waiting on hold, i was then told they would give me a refund. my wife went and picked up the sandwich at no charge. The manager did the right thing and i Thank them for that.
Placed an online order for 3 subs. Arrived 10 minutes after they said the order was ready. Ignored at the pickup area for 10 minutes. great subs, pathetic srevice.
We came here Friday night at 8:45pm. Saw on the door they close at 9. We walked in. No one would look up or greet us. We just wanted something quick. We asked if they are open still and the guy mopping looked up and said no. I understand they want to get out of there. But it was obvious they didn’t want to take care of us.
On Sunday 7/7 I ordered 2 sandwich combos with chips, a cookie and 2 drinks. I opted to try DoorDash delivery on the DiBella’s app. 45 mins after ordering the DoorDash shows up and all I have are two sandwiches. I had just come back from traveling so I had no energy to drive to this location to have them fix my order. Especially after paying for delivery. I called the location and some gentleman at the store said they were sorry and they processed a refund and I should expect it in 2-4 days. It’s been 4 days and there’s been no refund. 45.00 for two sandwiches without the extra stuff it’s supposed to come with and I’ve yet to get my money back. Be careful when you get your order delivered, this place will steal money from you! I’ve been offered nothing to fix it either. Just out of my money! Won’t be coming here again.
What is going on with this place? I've been coming here since it first opened. But it's quality has declined so badly, last night I came in for a cheese steak. The sandwich was drenched in grease, soaked the bread completely, and no cheese. Today, I give it another shot and I go get another one of my favorite sandwiches, salami and cheese. Not only do they forget to put no cheese, again. They drinkched it with mayonnaise, after I specifically said, please light mayo. I'm done with this place.
I asked the gentleman that took my order if the sub rolls were soft he replied yes very soft ok I said ordered 2 subs and got home the rolls were far from soft and the sudden was sloppy. I Wil never return and I will tell everyone not to go there.
I did an online order had a coupon and when I got there they said they couldn’t honor the coupon becsuse i had to many accounts other accounts i had i forgot password to so i made new account I said I wanted a refund and they would not refund me never heard of a company that could not refund you if you did not want it and they didn’t even make it yet so didn’t see a problem and they are very rude there never going there again was a loyal customer for 10 + years and turned thier backs on my family i will never support you again and drive customers away from your company
