The good was great for the price and there are so many options to choose from. A great first experience being here. You order and give your name and they bring the food to you whole you sit down at the dine in portion of the building!

This is the place for low cost informal food. Order at the counter and your meal will be brought to your table in just a few minutes. Everything is freshly made to order and really really good. This is pub food without the Pub. Very friendly and very informal.

Love getting the burritos here. A dizzying menu selection, but price is pretty good and has great hours (open pretty late). Love coming in here hungry when I've forgotten to eat dinner.

I've always loved Pepper Jack's. I had been here in awhile and was craving some curly, Cajun, cheese fries. They did not disappoint! The mini tacos were tasty, too! They came with sour cream which went nicely with my fries as well. Salsa would've been a good addition.

Absolutely love Pepper Jacks! A good friend used to be the manager so that's when we first began to order from here. However, the food is always fabulous...the people are extremely friendly.....the menu is quite extensive...their prices are very fair...& the delivery service is quick. I discovered this place when I worked at saint Anne's institute as a child care worker. I am never disappointed with them with whatever I get. I normally stick to their wraps since I am a wrap love - their wraps are fantastic. Only other place that competes with Pepper Jack's wrap wise would be the lunch menu at Druthers Brewing... And Pepper Jack's is still better

Mmm, mmm ,mmm! Delicious. Got the BBQ bacon cheese steak, a small order of fries w/ side of BIG BANG sauce, a fountain drink and a large coconut bourbon cookie for just under $19! Can't believe I haven't heard of this place before (stopped by this morning after a memorial service at McVeigh's). Best fries in the area for sure - every single fry is perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. They have plenty of side sauces to choose from, too! Cheese steak was a 6 inch and still incredibly filling. Friendly and fast service as well. I can't recommend this establishment enough.

I was impressed with this place. I got a cheesesteak and Cajun app platter. Everything tasted great, fresh and homemade even the fried food. My only compliant would be against myself, I got my order to go and the bread got a little soggy in transit but overall still delicious. I imagine eating at the restaurant would make the food even fresher and better but nonetheless I would surely recommend this place.

Lived near Washington Park for two years and ate at Pepper Jack's three times a week - or more. The chicken salad wrap features a fantastic combination of fresh, heterogeneous ingredient. Smoked bacon, chopped and seasoned white meat chicken salad, imported provolone, and a light layer of sweet cranberry sauce all neatly/cleanly tucked into a warm wrap. New dishes appear constantly -- the Irishman, for example -- and none of Western Avenue's deli/pizza takeaways can compare with Pepper Jack's immaculate surroundings and warm, professional staff. Sometimes I fantasize about driving 3 hours to the north just for lunch.

I love this place. Clean and bright, and great selection on the menu. You can get something lighter like a salad or a wrap, but they also have good junk food like delicious chicken or steak Phillies and fried jalapeno poppers.

I have NEVER gotten anything bad from here. Best cheesesteak in the 518. Chicken tenders are bomb, all of their wraps are delicious, and their french fries are always crispy and so good. When I order delivery the food shows up still hot, and eating in person is even better. Never a complaint.

I feel like it's harder than it should be to find a good cheesesteak with Cheez Whiz around here, so I was pleased by this place. my order was to go, and they put the whiz on the side which was nice, because I had a 20 minute drive to get home and it ensured my sandwich wasn't soggy. the macaroni salad is very good also. chill vibes in the restaurant too, and the street parking isn't bad. the only thing I would change is I would have asked for extra onions.

I’ve tried this place about 4 times now and I got to say I’ve been satisfied every single time. It’s fast food but everything has been delicious. I have tried a mushroom Philly, chicken sandwich, cheeseburger and a Rueben and enjoyed them all. Not to mention for the chicken sandwich the hot honey sauce is sooooo good! Anyway this place is super affordable. And mom of 5 here… They have family meal packs for $25! Cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches or pulled pork sandwiches and they coke with French fries. My kids have had the cheeseburgers and chicken sandwiches so far. They too are always satisfied. If you’re looking for good affordable fast food… this is your place!

These guys and gals never cease to amaze me. The food is great, and the service is second to none. I have tried a lot of items off the menu and today, opted for the roadhouse philly for the first time. Amazing!!! Tasty. I've been to Pepper Jack's several times and the food has never disappointed. The Smokin Turkey Club on rye is a must-try. I had the buffalo chicken wrap and a basket of Cajun fries last night. A good meeting place for dinner prior to a meeting or movie, as they serve it up hot and quick. It might be worth taking a picture of their menu board and checking off each one as you try them all. That's an easy way to figure out what to choose from their tasty menu. Recommended by me and my friends.

BUT the reason for the review was the corned beef philly(the Irishman) I got last time. it was absolutely amazing. this is a gem in the city of albany

There are tables but it is counter service I mean they'll deliver once it's cooked but you order and pay at the cash register. The person at the register was friendly and helpful and I would be happy to go there again.

Went to pepper jacks for lunch. Drive up to it, parking is on the street. For lunch time plenty of spots open. Nice outside seating so if you want to eat outside it has plenty of tables. Inside was very nice. Nothing extravagant. Big menu board on the left. Got the chicken caesar wrap and a drink, was about $13. The wrap was pretty big. Decent amount of chicken. Wasn’t amazing but not terrible. My friend got a salad. That thing was huge. I had a few bites and that was good. Definitely recommend getting a salad instead of a wrap. All in all nice spot to go for lunch and not breaking the bank with good proportion size.

Pepper jacks has great food and its fast! They have gluten free buns which draws me there since I have celiac disease. Lots of options for sandwiches, burgers, tacos, wraps, good fries and sides!

Only been here twice, both times food was very good, both times service was mediocre, person at register needs to learn some better customer service skills, a little smile, a little politeness, and act like you enjoy your job would be a good attribute for your business, otherwise excellent food!

Good food, large variety of options, alright price. There are many food options on the wall/menu, but detailed info about each item (including price) is nowhere to be found. The staff are fairly knowledgeable if you have specific questions, however.

Interesting hole in the wall type of eatery. Chalkboard type menu which spanned one wall. Tons of options, like subs and panini as well as wings and burgers. No prices listed. Cashier was quick & courteous. Appetizers we got were mozzarella sticks and fried green beans. The mozz sticks weren't very good. Green beans were nice. I ordered a chicken bacon ranch panini. It was server in crusty bread & was delicious. My son got a cheeseburger. It was served on a brioche roll. His girlfriend got a philly cheesesteak. She didn't like it very much, only ate half of it. Very expensive but freshly prepared sandwiches. Would try on our next visit to Albany definitely.

The food is delicious for relatively fast food (especially the steak sandwiches, quesadillas and tuna melt imo). Also, very extensive selection of food. It is a very clean restaurant with ample parking in the rear, a new small patio area in the front, plenty of comfy booths, and a TV in the back. Food is fast but one star discounted because the food is much more expensive than you would expect. Fries and drinks can be unfairly priced.

Pepper Jack's rarely disappoints. Had the Aztec Chicken salad and my friend ordered the Bleu Garden Salad, both were delicious. The salad was nice and crisp and the chicken was tasty. Update: They now have a loyalty program. After ten orders you get $10 off the next, or was it $10 off of the 10th order?.....I can't remember. Just call them up, place your order and chances are they'll fill you in. So make sure to give your number when you order. You have to love a local business that shows real customer appreciation. Also, just found out my cholesterol is a little high so I'm cutting way down on the fried foods, giving myself 1 cheat meal a week. Out of all of the things I could've gotten I used my pass to order the Crispy Buffalo Chicken Wrap from Pepper Jack's, nuff said.

Nice place, popular with the college crowd. I like the Pepper Jack burger, they do a good job not overcooking it and it gets my bacon fix. I also like the cheese quesadillas with the special dip, I often have enough left over to spice up a sandwich the next day.

Great lunch spot! My co-workers head over to pepper Jack's on a semi-regular basis for lunch. The food I've tried has always been good, service is friendly, although sometimes it takes a little longer than I would like to get your food. (Although it could just feel longer because I'm usually pretty hungry)

I wouldn't call it fast food... Ordered a buffalo chicken wrap, and it took longer to arrive than all the other food my table ordered. Food was good once it arrived though. A little expensive, but on par I suppose. Lots of options too, which is nice.

My second visit here, and still as impressed as ever. This trip I changed it up a bit and went it is a Philly cheesesteak even though were in Albany you would think they would collect in Albany cheesesteak. The steak was well seasoned and tender and by the time my sandwich arrived the cheese had melted and intertwined itself with all that steak goodness. We also enjoyed fried avocado, again. This is a true taste sensation, don’t pass it up. They are revamping their menu, but they assured me that the food will be even better. Look forward to my next visit

They have a very large menu with something for just abut anyone here. I like stopping in for lunch about once a month and usually get a harvest chicken salad. A nice day sitting outside on their patio is a good way to spend a lunch. Parking can be tough here but there is a lot out back.

I’ve been a customer since they were on quail st. I’ve had a few items on the menu but, I usually stick with their Philly cheese steak. That’s my Fav :)) I normally call and place my order for pick up. The people dining in are usually college students and lots of police officers. Definitely a safe place LOL. The staff is also friendly.

If you’re in this area of Albany, and hungry for universally beloved American comfort-food classics and want an reasonably priced but really homemade meal, look no further. The menu is expansive, but all along the same grain so as to limit their expertise- meaning for me that they are able to stock fresh ingredients and perfect their niche. I recommend the chicken mini tacos off the appetizer menu, and the boneless bbq wings are really yummy and crunchy. Ample seating for a small crew of your friends or family or you can take it to go. Staff are pleasant and helpful.

The one lady in the front was okay, but I don't understand why there are no uniforms or at least a dress code. I spent $30 for two wraps and I think the price Is way overpriced in my opinion. Also there's mold in places. It was good but not good enough to come back again.

Although I had no problem , limited parking could be tricky. Ordered online & food was ready at the scheduled time . No fee for online ordering . Staff masked . Food packaged well . I had a problem with the fact that they don't list their prices on their chalk menu board. As a first-time patron, I looked at the board and didn't want to hold up people behind me, so I ordered a burger and fries and soda. It came to almost $12, way more than I expected and it was just average. The next week I tried Luke's Pizza & Krispy Krunchy Chicken immediately next door, ordered the same and was delighted in how good it was and half the price! Then the next time I tried the Krispy Krunchy Chicken. OMG. Try it. You'll love it. Pepper Jack's has more atmosphere but Luke's right next door has much better value.Try it. Luke's Pizza. Maybe I should have gotten the cheese steak everyone is raving about. The food was not terrible but I was very underwhelmed after the price I paid. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap. The lettuce and tomato were obviously fresh. the chicken taste like the pre breaded spicy tenders from the grocery store freezer. The wrap was pretty small and there was no buffalo sauce! the small order of fries were ok, I also got a bottle of beer for over $14 + tip.

The panini was cold and the wrap was bland. Used to get great food at PepperJack's in another location years ago during college. My husband and I were very disappointed when we revisited recently. We agreed we would not be going back. 2 stars for friendly and quick service.

We order lunch for the office at least once a week. Your prices keep going up but the quantity received is getting less. Today I got a turkey wrap. It was mostly lettuce. There was only 2 pieces of turkey and 1 piece of bacon on the wrap and it cost me $10. I’ve recently had quesadillas that were supposed to have chicken on them. There was maybe 6 pieces on the whole quesadilla definitely not worth $11.

The food is delicious with ample portions! We order for delivery, (at work) and the food is always on time, hot, and super yummy! Their French Fries are great! It got bagged wrong, and none of the sandwiches were labeled. If one of my coworkers wasn't paying attention, to their sandwich, I would have eaten the gluten meal and gotten very sick. The person that answered the phone tried to say that someone just ate MY sandwich by mistake, but the mistake was theirs. I don't want to give a bad review, but that was a HUGE mistake. I have a disease, I'm not on some trendy new diet.

The burger was good but small. And came with no fries. However it did come with stale chips. So I had to order fries. Bringing the total to a little over 14.00. Which I dont mind paying for food that fills me up. But I could be eaten 2 of these meals. I am not a huge person either. This place use to be good. Oh well lesson learned.

Pepper Jack’s unfairly and inappropriately up-charge their supporting patrons for things that don’t cost them extra money. For example, if you order a burger and ask for the mayonnaise on the side they impose and up-charge. Poor business practice taking advantage of consumers.

My name is Anna. I ordered a simple garden salad with grilled chicken with oil and vinegar. Instead they gave me the harvest salad with chicken salad bacon and cranberries. Not what I asked for. Then when I called them they told me to come bring the salad back and exchange it. I would have had to take a bus 20 minutes and charge time from work. They gave me a credit instead. No way to conduct business. Their food is always yummie. However constantly they get orders wrong. :( I wish the person taking the rders wasn't high all the time.

Everything is frozen and doesn't have flavor, for how expensive it is. 2 10" subs and a salad came too $50. Philly sandwiches didn't have much seasoning just taste like packaged meat! Other places cost way less and taste fresh! Never again! I purchased 2 Supreme sandwiches. If you are expecting it too taste good you are wrong don't be fooled. Extremely dissapointed in the quality of food being served Especially if charging top dollar.

This star is an old review from my husband. I've been reaching back out to Pepperjacks for over a month now. Things have been great from my prespective. Tonight I ordered what I always order. Long story short, I'm eating and found a piece of scrap metal. So I call to let them know a piece of equipment might be destroyed. No manager. No concern for future orders. The girl i spoke with is designed and hired to take Togo or pickup orders. I was disappointed a manager wouldn't have answered my call. Especially since I didn't ask for a refund or anything of that sort.

Order a chicken Philly from pepper jacks, it was hour and half late and when I tasted the sandwich, it tasted like they just put a bunch of salt on it. I could only eat half of it. I called up to tell them what was the issue was and the manger Camilla refused to comp me on another meal also she was rude and nasty on the phone I used to eat there all the time but in my opinion the restaurant has went down hill.

Jersey Mike's prices with Subway quality. Philly cheese steak was anorexic. Steak was overcooked and lacking cheese. I ate half the full sub and Taco Belled it the next day. Tossed the remainder. At least with Subway I know I'm getting a subpar sub. I used to order from here quite a lot then the prices went up and quality and quantity went down.

Ordered a Chicken Quesadilla today for lunch. Felt like I ordered a grill cheese. Barely no chicken all cheese. Plus they gave me a special gift a long strand of hair embedded in the cheese on the bottom piece. Extremely gross. Imagine getting to the bottom and finding a long piece of hair cooked in with the grill cheese. Not satisfied and very displeased. My first and last time.

Very disappointing. I’ve been a regular customer here for eight years. Staff would know my order when I walked in. Now the prices have skyrocketed and it’s not worth it anymore. They no longer take your phone number for a loyalty program, apparently it’s too good of a business practice to actually give customers a reason to come back. The girls answering the phone can barely put together at coherent sentence. Disappointing as the owners don’t really care about quality, it’s just a money grab. I’ve found a new spot in the Albany area where the food is far fresher, the staff is friendlier, and the prices are better. This place has taken a nose dive. You can go out to eat at a nice restaurant with a tip and not pay much more. Go anywhere else but here.

This place was the bomb back in the day. But these new owners aren’t the best cooks. I honestly wanted to return the food and get a refund, but I’ll just find another place to go. They should really think about changing the name. No justice to the name.

Went with my boyfriend today after a long day of work. And we stopped here. He looked at the (menu) board of a sum of 2 minutes. I have a very sensitive sense of smell and taste and can't have mushrooms or onions (literally makes me sick). So I looked at every item 6 times and said "I can't choose cause everything has mushrooms and/or onions" was assured that they'd take them out... going hungry tonight.

Thoroughly disappointed in the Chicken Caesar Salad I got from this place, especially when it was 6.99+tax. I mean yes I understand the website says it's a "traditional Caesar salad with lettuce, grilled chicken, croutons and Caesar dressing" but it's literally only what is in the description, they seriously couldn't put anything else in there? Like perhaps a couple cherry tomatoes, or onion, or pepper, anything? It's literally just a bed of lettuce, that's it. Even further, the website says it's grilled chicken, but the chicken I got looks like it was previously baked, there arent even any grill lines on the chicken, and it isn't even warm. And the croutons are stale. Not impressed at all Pepper Jacks. Will not recommend to anyone.
