This place was great! They have the best french toast!

Service was so friendly. I got the steak and eggs. Steak was well cooked and well seasoned and eggs (scrambled) were light and fluffy. Place was busy and my drinks always full.

I called in for carry out tonight and the young lady who answered the phone was extremely friendly and polite. She was also very helpful going over the menu with me. Our order was done quickly and everything was delicious. And you can't beat the prices. I will definitely be ordering again soon and highly recommend others to check them out if you haven't already.

Nice little local restaurant warsaw, you might miss it due to being hidden away behind an aoutoshop. But I will say the tenderloin was awesome. Wasn't dry like a lot of places were moist and tender. The fries were nice, hot, and fresh 😋 will become our go-to when in warsaw hands down. Oh, and one more thing, I recommend the peanut butter malt 10/10 better than dairy queen 😂

Nice comfy place , especially for breakfast with family. The local staff is nice, helpful, and a strangely funny disposition. Their menu is extent to the point where it wouldn't surprise me if it was adapted from family recipes. In short if you want a nice cozy almost homely place to get breakfast, I'm just glad they're still around given how cozy(small but not cramped) they are.

Welcome to memory lane. The ambience and food took me back to my preteen years. I enjoyed my vegetarian omelette and home fries, with the hot tea. The whole time, I was remembering the friendly bantering as I listened to the interaction between the patrons and the waitress.

My wife, mother-in-law, and I have been eating their for years. They are such great friendly people. They really care about their customers and making sure everyone feels welcome. If you need cheering up trust me if that woman cant make you smile no one can.... if you have been to cozy cottage then you probably know whose smile I'm referring to. If not then I guess you better go see for yourself. The owners are awesome.

Great place for a local dive and dine. Nothing special here just good home cooked meals. Service was exceptional, as always. Food is exactly what you expect, no gimmicks. Great for an early breakfast or lunch.

One of those hidden gems you stumble upon with great food, great prices, and a very friendly staff. I had the breakfast skillet w/gravy. Excellent. My girlfriend had the breaded tenderloin w/fries. Both excellent as well and the crinkle cut fries were so crisp. We'll be back.

Very friendly atmosphere, server just lit up the room. It's clear she has forged bonds with several regular customers and makes them feel like family. Food was amazing, just the greasy spoon place you are looking for. Portions were generous and I was even given an additional small root beer with purchase of a root beer float which I thought was very thoughtful and neat. My partner and I absolutely adore coming here and will continue to do so without a doubt.

The Cozy Cottage is as its name implies, a very cozy diner. They serve breakfast all day and offer the best burgers in town for lunch. The staff are always super sweet & attentive.

If your a hometown kinda gal or guy, you’re going to LOVE the Cozy Cottage!! Best place in Warsaw for a home cooked, down to earth, delicious meal!! I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy, fried mush and eggs over easy for breakfast and the cheese burgers and fish are awesome on the Friday dinner menu!! It’s one of my favorites!! You’ll love this place if your a foodie!! It’s not fancy, just plain Jane but hey, you’re there for the food and great service!!

Very local, has good breakfast, but it's a little small. However, they are very friendly! Came here not to long ago to work with a classmate, I ordered a tomato juice and they ended up waving it when I went to pay. Definitely made my day. 😊

Every time I've come here, it's been a delight. The staff is hard working and efficient. Food is always amazing. They can cook a thin ribeye medium rare, and their coffee is the best. Hands down the best spot in town.

It was a great gathering place for early morning good coffee good food. Met with my brothers and dad and sat for an hour or so visiting. Waitress was very friendly and kind. Small place so was very busy.

If you're looking for a cozy off the beaten path this is your place!! I'd suggest you use Google maps to find it or you'll p1ass it. We used Google maps and still passed it. Looks like a house, red brick. Small place and super friendly staff. Misty & co-owner were informative about the area. The French toast and the meatlovers omelet are very satisfying. Would definitely return if in the area! Popular with the locals.

Great food and atmosphere. Breakfast all day long lunch and dinner great place rather eat lunch or dinner friendly staff and good food.

It's always full of people when you walk in smiling and have a good time nobody's a stranger in there. The local sheriff department likes to hang out there and it just gives it a great and warming feeling. The price is also great to take a family. I'm a single mom of three and still can afford to take my kids there and get delicious homemade food.

Loved everything about this place from the cook in the back, our waitress, the food, the atmosphere, did I mention the food? Hope to get back someday. We drove in from 5hrs away and hotel didn't have breakfast until 7am and we needed to be on the road before that. Cozy Cottage opens at 5am!! Highly Recommend this place family owned establishment.

Best B&G ive had in awhile. And ive tried all places in warsaw and columbia city. The B&G's are similiar to BigG's in Columbia city but this place has the best biscuits and gravy in my opinion. Will be going back.! Nice staff as well!

My husband and I stopped here on a whim, literally passed by and chose to stop. We had the 3 piece fish dinner. The food was delicious and fresh and the server (her mom who works there as well) both were sweet. The building is a little small but still very cozy. We will eat there again.

Small, hole-in-the-wall type place. If you don't know it's there you'll probably miss it. It's becoming my go-to breakfast place. Like, I'm not an old man who needs a weekly spot for coffee and breakfast, but I'm quickly turning into that guy thanks to this place. Staff always seems nice. Coffee is good. Food is always good and plenty of it! Price is fair. If you disagree, you can always go support a local chain restaurant that likely doesn't need to price their food at what they do.

cozy cottage makes an excellent grilled tenderloin good thickness moist and the bun held together. the breaded tenderloin was also very good but a bit too thin didn't get as much pork flavor without one. french fries nice and crispy soft on the inside. coleslaw had a bit of Tang to it. points for using recyclable to go container.

Its been the best dinner in town and yet I give it a four due to some of the staff's timing when certain people is there. I understand at times its very busy yet let customers who already there keep waiting after numerous times of asking for something. And try pushing your co-worker to do it for you . I've seen it happen at many restaurants

A good, no frills diner. Food was served hot and cheesy. Taste was Midwestern staple. Coleslaw was good but a very small container. Service took longer than estimated at time of order, but to be expected as they were packed with lunch rush. A couple of items were forgotten in the order but they did go back and get them for us. Did offer curbside which was a definite plus.

It's not fancy nor modern. But it is clean, and offers good food at a good price. Nothing special or unique. It's more of a good place to go when you're hungry but just don't want to cook. You'll get a decent sized meal of diner-level food for a good price.

Cozy Cottage is one of my favorite places to eat for breakfast in Warsaw. They have very good food. The service is always awesome! The only reason I can't give five stars is the place looks sort of run down due to how old it is. Renovations would be awesome. All around a great place to eat though. I tried out the cozy cottage today. It was a 15 min walk for me. They were busy but had a flow to it. The staff was friendly kind and patient. I do say when I have free moments to stop I will be going again.

My daughter and I got the BLT, my son got some brunch. I had some slaw with mine and it was good! My son tried it and liked it, he normally doesn't like slaw. None of us have eaten here before. Overall it was a positive experience! Good food! The toast looks kinda burnt in the pictures, but it's not, it had a good level of toastiness, haha.

This is one of the oldest restaurants in Warsaw. The staff is very nice and act like they know you even if it's your first time. This is the epitome of a greasy spoon restaurant with ok food but plenty of it.

I’ve had mixed experiences with this place. Sometimes, it’s great. Other times, service is sketchy, food is over or undercooked and occasionally I’ve been overcharged. I think I eat elsewhere.

The food is fantastic if you don't mind catching the Plague. The servers had masks below noses, and the tables were not really far enough apart for social distancing. It's sort of shameful, because when I was there, there was law enforcement in the building (getting breakfast, not on business) and they weren't really following the rules properly either. Much of the clientele falls into a risk category as well, between the obese and elderly. I'll be back, but not until I have been vaccinated.

Just your basic Midwest breakfast diner. Almost generic. Average in every way. Even had the rhetorical old semi-retired sheriff sitting at the table telling war stories with all his buddies. For a moment I thought I might have slipped into a Stephen King novel. Food was neither good nor bad. It was just breakfast.

First time eating here... food was good, but I'm not sure the omelet actually had 3 eggs... but it did taste good. I went here on a recommendation of a friend... Prices are fair, comparable to other restaurants. The young waitress was very pleasant and friendly. I would rate it as a nice place to eat, but not exceptional. I will try them again sometime and give them another chance....

Unfortunately this time was not a very good breakfast, for 8.88 and 1.99 for gravy. Glad I found this meal with home fries or that was an additional 1.99 , oh and my over easy eggs were a bit overcooked. I’ll just have to start eating at home. And the waitress took for ever ever with the jelly after delivering our food, now my toast was cold and 1.99 for a medium cup of soda, i remember the cups being bigger.

The place is small and crowded. We were first seated below a window air conditioner. The server wiped the table and apologized that the air conditioner blew dust on the table every time it came on. We requested another table because we didn't want the dust in our food. Another couple came in and sat at that table and nothing was said. It was hard to make it to the cadhier and the exit with all the people.

Was looking for a family type local restaurant in Warsaw and finally found one. It is a super small place about the size of my living room ok that was cozy. The waitress couldn't have been 15 maybe younger. She was nice but my breaded tenderloin came with nothing at all with it. No ketchup, mayo or anything just the super thin slice of breaded tenderloin fresh out of the Fryer on bread. When I asked the waitress for some mayonnaise, ketchup and lettus and tomato that's literally what I got. One slice of tomato and one little pice of lettuce. They charged me .50 for that. Ok no problem. The coffee was very weak so I was specific with waitress very nicely "can I please have a Pepsi instead of the coffee? That coffee isn't that good I don't care for it". ( I literally had 3 sips out of it.) She got me a Pepsi and I finished. The Cole slaw was like soup but the Chilli was good. Waitress couldn't take the coffee off the check herself at the end she had to "take that up with the manager." Overall the service was poor waitress needs to be in school. Food wasn't that good except for the chili. And it was extremely

We went here for breakfast and while eating found dark hairs in my potatoes when it can't be mine since I don't have hair. I only had taken about 3 bites showed the waitress and she asked if I wanted more and I said know I just didn't want to take a chance it kind of ruined my appetite, when I went to pay for our bill they still charged me full price for the food I couldn't eat because of the hairs.

First time eating here we got seated pretty quickly but it took forever for us to place our order and even longer to get our food. I got the smoked sausage omelette with toast the cheese in the omelette was nasty they literally cut an American cheese slice in half’s and used 1 slice inside the omelette and I counted about 8 small pieces of smoked sausage absolutely ridiculous $9.75 the 3 egg the omelette was made with tasted really eggy like it was older eggs the sausage and gravy is bland and nasty the cream cheese danish is literally ones they sell at Walmart for like $5 for a whole package the coffee was good and the toast was good we seen the good reviews and decided to try it out I honestly don’t know how they even have good reviews I didn’t even see a bathroom in there

Love to go to local diners but I have to honestly say this was the worst food I ever had. Fries were cold soup was uneaten it was so bad and also cold. Tea was good is all I can really say I liked that we got for are 40$ Sorry won’t be back which I know won’t bother they has they were busy
