Been coming to Del Taco since the hot summer days working construction, In the days of my youth, back when it was green burrito, red burrito, Double Dels and fries were summer ambrosia, perhaps with a beer or too Compre amigo. I’ve noticed you’ve brought the heat again. The new carnitas fries and burritos are the real deal. Stopped in twice this week, and I don’t do that often. Ps. Four stars only because I reserve five for Michelin-level experiences. This is the best Del Taco has been in years. Keep it up.

Grabbed a few Del Tacos 🌮. Not bad for the price and better than Taco Bell. They also have a mini shake that goes nice with the tacos 🌮 We do recommend if your looking for decent AmeriMex for a good price. Do not forget to get there app and rewards if you eat here every so often. We have received free food with purchase more than a few times.

Del Taco is a pretty good alternative of Taco Bell if you're not into it. They got some good tacos like the Del Taco (still exists, hence the name) a burrito (red or green sauce optional) or a soft-serve ice cream cone that's really good, even in vanilla flavor. If you can, you can even have the Fiesta Pack, which has 6 tacos and 6 burritos with lots of sauce packets. If you're thirsty, they have not just soda, but also Poppers, natural lemonade or just water. It's a pretty good place if you want to try it.🌮🌯

Always enjoy the food at this Del Taco location. The staff is friendly and we get our orders done correctly because we o ly order vegetarian food here. Nice Ice coffee and latest small size Milkshakes make a grand finale. The food is always fresh and tasty.

Food is great, but service can be hit or miss. I usually go in the evening to order via the drive thru. Never had an item missing from my order, but recently ordered a chicken burrito, but they gave me a Del Burger. Hopefully this is a rare occurrence for others.

I rarely review fast food chains, but this is worthy of a review. #1: This has absolutely nothing to do with this restaurant's employees. Why would a restaurant allow you to place a pick up order online, only to wait in the drive thru line to receive that order? 🤔 From my experience I learned: This Del Taco doesn't have a curbside pick up or there wasn't any noticeable signage anywhere, trying to walk into the locked door (around 10:30pm) doesn't work for orders placed online, and if you want Del Taco just wait in line.

I love Del Taco. But this particular location always seems to get my order wrong in some way. Don't get me wrong the food tastes good and is a quick stop for a burrito or taco, but make sure they get your order correct. Little tip: if you want a good del taco experience I have found over the years that any location that is right near a freeway entrance usually has the best service and best quality.

It's okay! It's a convenient place to go for families or individuals alone. I wouldn't say it was spectacular & some dishes are tastier than others. I've been there a couple of times. It's okay...I'll go in a pinch when I just need something to tide me over when I'm short on time and low on funds. Not a favorite place. Just a fast food place to get a quick bite to eat!🙄😏

1:35 am been waiting 25 minutes for 3 shakes on a mobile order, 15 miutes past estimated time on app. Ordered when drivethru was empty, 6 drive through orders came and went. Still waiting.

they locked their doors so you can’t walk in the morning for breakfast only drive thru. Inconvenience if you work in town center. What’s annoying is the lady unlocked the door AT 11 when they stop serving breakfast. they purposely don’t want to serve you breakfast and we’re pretty rude when I pointed it out to them at 11:05. Cashier was kind chef yelled we stop serving at 11. Rude and not professional they try their best to avoid serving breakfast.

A few days ago I came in picked up my orders and a female and male worker were rude to the some customers. They need to be better trained on their customer service. The kiosk machines weren't working very well and they kept telling them to use them and the one customer told they that they weren't working. You keep packing up the prices and the customer service is going down hell. You want $20 a hour but give shitty customer service and can't get orders right.

Food was good but we didn't notice that they ignored all add-ons and for our drive-thru pickup order until we got 20 min away and started eating. Ended up paying around $5 for extras we didn't get.

The cashier was helpful although he seemed hesitant to speak. He changed my drink for me because it didn't taste good at all. I got the beyond meat which tasted really bad! I was not happy at all. The quesadilla was almost empty inside. After telling the cashier that I don't eat meat, my food was labeled with chicken stickers which really scared me. When I asked if they were chicken before taking the food he went to confirm with the cook and she had an attitude: rolled her eyes at me and shook her head. That was my first time eating at Del Taco, and I don't think that I would recommend it to anyone nor go back.

The workers here, especially those at the drive-up window, should spend a month or two working at Chick Fil A. Over the years, I've been here at all times of the day and night and not once has anyone ever said "hello", or "please", or "thank you" or even "have a good day/night". It's like it's company policy to appear as rude as possible. When you get to the window to pay, all you hear is "eight-fifty", then they hand over your food like they did you some big favor by taking your money. When they get your order wrong, they don't even apologize. Only good side to this place is they're close and they're open when few other places are.

The new fries with carnival are awesome but I order a double burger and that was a scam yes a scam they gave me a one patty small burger bad taste and horrible flavor just junk.

Decent food, poor customer service in the restaurant, cashier ignored me when I was at the register for several minutes. Hispanic guy came in after me and got immediate service. There was a lady inside applying for a job… not a word of English from manager or applicant. I don’t see any black, white, Asian or Indian working here, other folks need jobs too.

Cannot stand this location. Every single time I order a combo they automatically upgrade the combo to a medium or large without even asking me. And the manager here is a piece of work..."You didn't say you didn't want a medium" dude it comes as a small combo, if I want a freaking medium I'd say it instead of you trying to charge me more for something I never asked for nor did even offer it to me. Manager is a joke. And apparently doesn't know how to read because my order I got today was wrong. Thanks for wasting my time and money.

I usually really like Del Taco. This location is consistently one of the worst. I keep giving this place a chance but it's always worse then any other location I've been too. I don't know what they do differently but the food never tastes fresh. Food is prepared sloppy, over salted, taco shells come crushed and taste stale. Inconsistent amounts inside the tacos. Some with almost no meat. Burger came smashed. French fries come soggy and taste like they were cooked in old oil. Bathroom is always filthy and unmaintained like an old gas station bathroom in south central LA. The bathroom smells so bad that not only do you smell it as soon as you walk in the front door, you can smell it throughout the dining room. A porta potty would be a better experience. No pride of ownership here. No competent management. The place appears to be run by teenagers that don't care. You see them goofing off while you are in the dining room. If they can't keep the restaurant clean, one can speculate that they probably don't put much effort into the food safety side of things. Maybe that's why the food always tastes off? At least it's open late. Try the Del Taco off Avery Pkwy and see how much better a well run del taco tastes. @Del Taco Corporate do you guys even care that this place represents your company this way?

Just know if you’re buying food here at 2/3AM you’re also buying yourself food poisoning + vomiting a few hours later. Food came out wayyy too quick like it’s been sitting out waiting for hours and was luke-warm. Bought this at 2:37AM started throwing it back up at like 3:50ish. Most foul place I’ve ever been to. Will never be back!!

I didn't even order. As I was waiting to place an order I saw a lady making the food play on her phone put it back in her pocket and go grab raw food out of the freezer without washing her hands or putting on gloves. There were 4 people handling food and only 1 had gloves on. You guys are nasty. I will never go to this del taco again.

The girl who works the drive thru in afternoons seems like she really doesn’t want to be there. One of my items was missing, and on the item I DID get, the tortilla was stale as anything. I’d rather drive further to go to a different one, I love del taco but this location is NOT worth it.

My order was completely messed up the first time I ordered, so I went back to ask for another. They gave me the correct ingredients after, but everything but the meat and beans were at the very top of the burrito and the bottom was split open. I know it's fast food and we shouldn't expect great service, but this was awful.

Would recommend double checking receipt as they often forget items if taking the drive thru. Happens as a regular occurrence and is frustrating. The drive thru window almost never goes over your order so if mistakes happen it happens at the pickup window. I have ordered and payed for items to drive home and find that they missed items, so always check your items before you leave. All in all double check with this place.

Don’t order here on Door Dash or Uber Eats as they have inconsistent and unreliable availability. On multiple occasions I’ve had an order accepted the. Canceled 10-20 minutes later or even upon the arrival of the driver. Clearly their management is too inept to figure out how to update its availability on these apps. Go elsewhere.

They charge you 25 cents for extra sauce, but they really do not give you extra sauce, so my burritos were dry like mud. They do not answer their phone at all to fix the problem...Go somewhere else. Food quality is not good but they wanna rob you with the price. Employees are rude, need more training in better customer service especially drive thru.

Haven't had del taco in years so decided to come in on a Wednesday afternoon. I wish I can turn back time and went elsewhere. I remember the fish tacos used to be so good. I saw they had a deal of 3 fish tacos for 6.99. I thought, what a steal right? Boy was I wrong. As you can tell by my pictures, they looked unappetizing. Just didn't taste good and had no flavor at all. Sadly this will be the last time ever coming back to a del taco.

This is just sad , this is my hard shell chicken taco. All 3 were like this or worse, no chicken in it or the tiniest amount. Del Taco you need to do better than this!

This is the 2nd time ive ordered a guacamole epic burrito. Both times its had 0 guacamole and i order steak which tasted like old shoes! It was mostly rice. I also didnt get all the items i ordered. I would give this del taco -100 if i could., both times it was awful! Sad and it cost me anyway.

This Del Taco has no atmosphere at all. There are just tables and chairs. The food is not good at all and it's not cooked all the way. It is not the del Taco of years ago. I would not recommend you waste your money at this location. We used to go there all the time not anymore.

Sadly, this is the exception. Like everything Jack touches, he ruins it. Now, like McDonald's, inside kiosks and too few employees to take an order at the front counter. To order with a "live" person, the drive thru, which always has a long line and huge wait times, is the alternative. And, like others that are failing, Del Tacos reputation for great value for the dollar, and great hot food and friendly service seems to be just a memory. Perhaps following the lead of In and Out and other successful models would be an idea. If needed, don't compromise quality, even if the product price must increase to reflect a great product. Today's example: The food portions, i.e. the 2 for $7 burrito menu, are much smaller than even just a year ago, and, burritos are wrapped differently than as shown on the menu display, now closed on both ends. It wasn't THAT long ago that the menu photos looked like the finished product, i.e. burritos open and overflowing on one end. Dissatisfaction seems to be the company's new objective. At least at this location. AND, this MAY just be THIS Aliso Viejo location. The Barstow locations, and Dana Point definitely have better service and better food. So, this is my first and last visit to this location. Hopefully mediocrity at this location isn't contagious. I have been a Del Raco fan for decades. Always my GO TO for a quick bite. The quick service food industry is competitive. Bring back the old management company leadership and direction or fail. Sad, really. Less of a fan today than yesterday.
