Wonderful Mediterranean food. Everything looked fresh and clean. Plenty of seating. Description on every food item!! Love that!! Buffet price included drinks and everything. Loved the dessert bar with fresh fruit, rice pudding, and banana pudding and more! I highly recommend!

The gyro was on point and love that they have self serve ice cream with the chocolate and vanilla!! Shout out to Ahmed and Raizan for coordinating my reservation and taking care of my guests.

As with all other dimassis, the food was excellent. Shout out to their specialities lamb shank, and gyro meat, as well as their rice dishes and fluffy naan. Absolutely brilliant! Last but not the least, their baklava is so tender, yet crispy and full of the sweet flavors one can crave for. Update 1: Went for a dinner hosted by my cousin. Have to say, Today's Gyro and lamb shank was absolutely the best I've had!7

My husband and I tried Dimassi’s Mediterranean Buffet today, and we were very impressed! The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and with so many great options to choose from. The restaurant was clean, and the staff provided excellent service, making our experience even better. This is definitely a 5-star buffet, and we highly recommend it to anyone who loves Mediterranean cuisine. We will definitely be back!

Pretty nice place, perfect place to pig out. Lot of selection, a bit overwhelming, because there is limit on how much your stomach can hold. Enjoyed the lamb, beef, chicken and all other meat, didn't wanted to get stuffed with bread and salads. Liked the apologetic note about the lamb shank being not available due to global supply chain crisis. If I come back to DFW will come here to pig out.

Manal and Janna are wonderful and gave us great customer service! The food was delicious and the place was beautiful and clean! Bathrooms were clean and there is even a small prayer room. Excellent and 5 ⭐️

Where do I start!? If you love Mediterranean food you're going to love this place! It's extremely clean, brand new and the largest buffet I've seen in my entire life. There are so many selections of meats healthy salads I think about three or four different types of hummus, it's actually a little overwhelming! However take your time as there's plenty to sample.

We enjoyed Dimassi's. The place is never too crowded and is clean. The food taste good and has good meat choices. The pita bread and hummus are very tasty. The only thing I didn't enjoy here was the desserts. It tasted dry, and not very fresh, but by the end of your meal is highly probable you won't be able to eat dessert anyways 😉.

First time here and it was excellent. The presentation of the food is very appealing and the variety is impressive. Plenty of options for everyone. Everything was hot and fresh and the staff kept the buffet well stocked. Loved the large selection of vegetable dishes and salads! The tabouli salad in particular was delicious and the falafels were fried to perfection. The restaurant itself was exceptionally clean as well. This was my first time trying a Mediterranean buffet. All of the options were absolutely fantastic. The presentation was exquisite. I went during lunchtime and it was pretty empty because of Ramadan, so I had my first pick of everything fresh. The restaurant is kept clean and the staff was very friendly. Can’t wait to go back!

Buffet is legit. Never had any issues here. No long wait times during peak hours. Items are plentiful and always taste fresh. Prices are reasonable as well for the quality buffet. Been here 5 times no with no issues ever visit.

Every bite is consistently good. Great service and hospitality and great food. I love all of the fresh sides and such a variety of meats. The Lamb is tender and delicious. The dessert bar has the best baklava and really good rice pudding. One of my favorite things is the self-serve drink bar. Your beverage is included in the price of the buffet and they have everything from fountain drinks to specialty lemonades delicious iced teas they have high quality coffee and one of the most delicious chai teas I've ever had. Two of us on a Saturday night and it was $52. Really fair price for such a quality meal. Will definitely be back.

One of the best buffet in Allen, Tx. I make sure to go there every time I visit Allen. They gave us voucher for 10 percent off for next visit. I like the environment- plenty of dishes and huge salad bar. Several kind of beverages and desserts, all included in the buffet price. I will try to go in dinner time next time so I can have a lamb shank. Excellent restaurant and one of my favourite.

I had an excellent time dining at Dimassi’s. I particularly enjoyed the delightfully fresh and warm pita bread. The selection was extensive (including Mansaf!) and the various meats were all very tasty. I also appreciated that there were some Desi options included, such as chicken biryani and butter chicken. Ahmed & Raizan were excellent and helped extensively during our visit. Would highly recommend visiting this restaurant in the near future!

We did all you can eat for a birthday dinner this time. It's not our first time here, but we always enjoy it. Lots of options and food is kept full and fresh on the line. I like that they offer gloves at the beginning of the line if you want them. Bathrooms are nice and clean, and the environment is relaxed and visually appealing. Also, I have recent food allergies that are difficult to accommodate sometimes but the dishes are clearly marked above each option and there's more Vegan, Vegetarian, and Gluten Free options than I've seen at most places.

Amazing change from my past visit with bad experience. Will be back more with my family. Only negative- gyros were not perfect and they were not consistent. But there are plenty of other items to enjoy. So I’m ok! —-———————————————- Old experience: The pricing might seem high, but, number of items are also high. I think there can be a balance here that can be worked out. Too many items can be difficult to manage and that can be seen easily. Over burnt items or sluggish ones, not well grilled veggies or too salty items, all irregularities can be found out when you eat different items. Fish item- if you enjoy grilled/gravies, fish here may not be for you. The point is, there isn't even 1 item, I can recommend as my favorite after trying tiny bit of each item. But again, too many items, cant complain much. I dont know number of people could be working inside. They could be less with heavy workload on each. Or maybe not. But I doubt there are enough number of workers to handle lot of customers and so many items with many cutlery items to be continuously taken out of table. Overall, it’s a nice family restaurant and you can enjoy different varieties of items.

Im a bit spoiled because I have a persian mother, but overall I'd eat here again. It's buffet style so, it's not super premium, a couple things weren't great, but I left full, so I'm not very really complaining.

Dimassi's Mediterranean is a great restaurant with a large buffet. There are numerous delicious salads, meats and Mediterranean dishes among many more. There are great desserts also. There's plenty of parking outside the restaurant and it's quite large inside.

This was my first time coming here and it was a great experience! You essentially walk in, pick your own table, grab a plate and begin your buffet journey. You can also grab a to-go box and pick what you want and get charged per pound. It's a large open concept buffet style restaurant. It was very clean and had a l large selection of foods from around the world, even cheese pizza for the picky kids. All the food tasted good and fresh. I only encountered one staff member at the front and she was very sweet. I just wish they had plates at the different stations because currently, you have to go all the way back to the beginning of the buffet line to get another plate. Overall a great value and experience and we'll be back again when we're in the mood for Mediterranean food.

Ordered Lamb Shank Plate and it was AMAZING! so full I don't think I'll be able to go back to work haha. Comes with 3 sides I got: Spicy Hummus • Rice w/ Vermicelli • Fattoush Everything tasted super fresh and the lamb was a nice change from the usual beef & chicken options I eat every darn day. Could have been a littttlllleee more tender but only bc I like my meat fallin of the bone 😆 The star of the show was surprisingly the xtra side of lentil soup that I got!! I love Dimassi's and frequent it monthly, food is attractively presented, fresh, and plentiful. My only issue is the falafel. For a Mediterranean restaurant to serve falafel in such a state is almost sinful. It's always burnt and full of greasy, and nearly always out. I waited 30 minutes for them to put some out and when they did there was only 8, and they were gone within minutes. I grabbed a few and they were awful, very dark, hard, and dripping with grease. Other than this main staple being a complete flop, the rest of the food is simply divine. I love Dimassi's!

Everything was fresh and tasty. Loved all protein dishes. Less choices in dessert and baklawah was overloaded with cinnamon which I didnt like. One thing or concern which hurted our pocket was that our little one only had one slice of pizza but we paid the whole 9 dollars for her. She is just 4 but restaurants policy says that 3 and above have to pay 8.99. It was waste of money for us. Not planning to bring kids for buffet anymore.

First time here, clean. Many options. Affordable too. You have to ask for the Lamb shank to get it from the kitchen. The drinks are serve yourself, they also have coffee, all included. All in all good food, will try again 4/9 - second time. Price up during the month of Ramadan to $23.99.

Food is always fresh and hot. Buffet style so you take what you want and go back as many times as you want. Great drink selection and dessert selection. Service isn't really here a you are doing it yourself. Someone comes by every do often to take the plates. Tables don't get wiped down very well though. Was sticky when we sat down.

Good food as usual. But they should really change up the dishes, it’s the same every time. Also the price has increased due to Ramadan so you might be taken by surprise when paying. Even if you’re not there for iftar. Make sure to reconfirm with the hostess.

Good price for good food. The Mansaf was my favorite and my mom really enjoyed the seasoned bone in chicken. There are lots of options available and while there isn't much staff interaction with a buffet, they were greeted us when we came in and were friendly at checkout. The location is a little outside of our area still, but it's great seeing this brand moving further North. We'll definitely be in again!

Dimassi’s Mediterranean Buffet – 4.5 Stars The restaurant has a quiet, relaxed atmosphere, making it a great place to talk and enjoy your meal. There’s a wide variety of dishes available, and most of them are flavorful and satisfying. However, one concern is how long some items have been sitting under the heat lamps—I prefer my food fresh, not something that's possibly been sitting out for an hour or more. Another small downside: they didn’t offer lemons for the water, which I would’ve appreciated. That said, the service was quick and efficient. The atmosphere works well for families, friends, or even a casual date. Bonus points for a very clean bathroom—that definitely helped boost the rating. Overall, I give it a big thumbs up!

The buffet offers a generous variety of flavorful dishes with something to satisfy both meat lovers and vegetarians. The desserts were also delicious and a nice finishing touch to the meal. The restaurant is clean and very spacious so we were seated immediately without any wait. The service was also friendly and efficient. One note for families: the pricing is on the higher side especially considering that the children’s price applies only to ages 3–9 whereas many other restaurants extend the kids’ rate up to age 12. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, especially for fans of authentic Mediterranean food.

We have been meaning to try this place for a while. Mediterranean food it's hard to beat for a healthy choice. We knew that it was a buffet. Some places can pull this off well and others not so much. They did a good job here and the food was constantly fresh and the variety was excellent. From their salads, hummus selection, pita bread always fresh, to their great Meats, we were very impressed. The decor in atmosphere was beautiful and the place was very well kept. It is totally self-serve from the minute you walk in. You seat yourself and Serve Yourself water or tea. No one will ask you or instruct you so you have to figure it out. That was fine with us as we were dining with a very close friend of ours that we meet monthly so we were able to have an interrupted conversations. Now this is a very nice place but I would not call it fine dining. However we loved it. The food quality was excellent in the choices plentiful. We will go there again. I noticed that you can also order to go and they weigh it to charge you. I think you will like it.

Not terrible but worse than King buffet or pretty much any other asian buffet in the vicinity. They have very limited choice of meat and the one they do is not good. Rice,salads,and other stuff is good but it’s supposed to be anyway. The choice of dishes is very limited. If you don’t want mediterranean specifically, just go to king buffet instead. Unfortunately this wasn’t good. We eat at Afrah regularly and thought this would be a good choice- it was not. No pita or zatar pie. Offerings were limited. When I was in the bathroom an employee came out and completely skipped washing her hands. Not worth $52.

The empty parking lot should’ve told me everything I needed to know . I’m writing this review because I normally frequent Dimassi’s in Houston. The one off Kirby Avenue is second to none when it comes to both service and food. I decided to come to this location today since I’m staying up the street. Right away I noticed that about 90 percent of the food was cold. I wasn’t really tripping at first. I just figured I’d get what I liked and move on. I asked for a lamb shank and sat down for maybe a minute after getting it. When I went to eat it, it was cold too. I could actually see the fat from the lamb turning solid on the plate, which told me it had been sitting out for a while. I tried to ask the gentleman who handed it to me if I could get another one since it was cold. He started talking like it was somehow my fault it wasn’t hot. Because I could barely understand what he was saying, I just assumed he was going to get me a new one. Instead, he completely ignored me and left me standing there waiting. After a few moments, he told me it would be five minutes and went to speak with the lady at the register. She told me I would need to pay for another one because it was my fault it was cold. I explained that I had just sat down and hadn’t even had time to eat it. She still tried to defend him. At that point I just gave up and figured I’d write a review. I’ve never had customer service like this at any of their locations, not even at the one where I almost got sick.

I have been to Dimassi many a times but this location (Allen) first time. The food was not good at all. I was shocked to my core. They weren’t doing refills. And the desserts were just so not good. I can’t even imagine going there again.

Normally, Dimassi‘s is very good. But today was much different. My wife, the girls and I went to eat in the evening. As we were walking through the line, we noticed a cricket in the food (as pictured). I did point this out to a worker, who quickly removed it. Unfortunately, the damage was already done as the girls lost their appetite. My wife and I tried to power through it. I was assuming they would offer at least one meal comped, but they charged full price for all 4 meals. Not only that, they charged adult price for our 9 year old. We were both shocked. Not coming back to this location.

We arrived at 3:30 PM for the lunch buffet, even though dinner service starts at 4:00 PM. Before paying, I asked the manager if there was any difference between the lunch and dinner food, and she told me there was none. The food offered was very basic only simple items such as a few types of rice, salad, and other low-quality dishes nothing that justified being charged almost $70. Despite this, we were charged the dinner price. When I politely asked for clarification, the cashier was very rude and dismissive. The manager then became argumentative instead of professionally addressing the issue. To make matters worse, some of the food was cold. Being overcharged, combined with poor food quality and unprofessional behavior from both the cashier and the manager, made this a very disappointing experience. We will not be returning.

I had an awful experience at Damasis and will never be coming back. The food was cold and completely unappetizing, and to make things worse, the restrooms were absolutely filthy. The staff was extremely unpleasant and rude from the moment we arrived. We came in at 3:30 PM, when lunch is clearly advertised as $18.99, yet they charged me $21 for dinner. When I politely spoke to the manager about the incorrect pricing, they were just as rude as the rest of the staff and refused to adjust the price or offer any kind of apology or solution. Between the cold food, dirty restrooms, rude employees, and terrible customer service, this was a very disappointing experience. Overall, very bad restaurant with very bad customer service. Save your money and go somewhere else

We are frequent Dimassi customers of their Irving & Plano locations. This particular location in Allen is extremely poorly managed. They do not refill items despite bringing it to their attention multiple times. Liquid spills on floors everywhere. Manager rude, food quality sub par.

I visited Dimassi’s Mediterranean Restaurant in Allen today for my birthday, and unfortunately the experience was very frustrating. The sign outside clearly states that lunch is served until 4 PM for $18.99, and dinner pricing of $23.99 starts after 4 PM on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I arrived at 3:00 PM, well within lunch hours. I finished eating and walked out around 4:10 PM, and to my surprise, I was charged the dinner price. When I asked, they said they go by the time you leave, not the time you arrive, something that is not mentioned anywhere on their sign or menu. This felt misleading and unfair. It was my birthday, and instead of enjoying the meal, I left upset. I didn’t argue and paid the full amount, but this is not how customers should be treated. If the restaurant wants to charge based on exit time, that should be clearly communicated up front. Very disappointing, and I don’t plan to return.

Very rude cashier person, racist, and disrespectful. We had a family gathering and in the end some of our people were just generous enough to offer to pay for the whole order. He then impolitely told them to stop fighting, and then when we asked what was his problem he told us if you don’t like it here, you can go somewhere else. On top of that we literally saw him emptying the ice cream machine just because some kids wanted more ice cream. You’re an open buffet restaurant, and these people already paid for this. Definitely not going back.

Terrible experience. Absolute scam. They will charge you $25.99 if they think you’re there for Iftar. If you’re there for dinner they will charge you $20.99. They always charge upfront but this time they said no you pay after so they will trap you into paying more. The cashier lady was so nasty. I won't be coming back

I got there at 3pm well before the deadline for the $18.99 lunch. When I went to go pay I was charged $23.99. when I explained that we arrived for the lunch they told me that you pay based on the time you leave. This doesn't make sense and no other buffet does this. I won't be coming back that's for sure
