5 dollar craft beers... in this economy? Count me in!! They have a bunch of seating but little parking. 9 dollar flights (4 pours of 5 oz each). They also do growler fills and have cans to go! The ice cream store next door (Munnerlyns) is also delicious. This bar also has nightly food truck service and they are listed on the website. Welcome to Pine Grove! Hope this business sticks around. I plan on coming back often!
Good stop for a beer. Beautiful location, great view out the back and plenty of seating. Rotating food vendors is nice as well. We got Tacos the day I was there and they were great. Beertenders were nice and conversational.

My mother, Juanita Dunston, attended Pine Grove School in 1945. She painted this rock from memory of what the school looked like then. She was pleased when we found your website and saw that you are keeping it what it originally looked like.

Driving up the 88. So happy to find the Hoist House. Tried a flight of 4 beers. All were good. Great tri-tip sandwich and smoked beef tacos. Great patio for sitting.
Service is always quick, and the atmosphere is great. Super kid friendly! The first time I was here was for my kids' schools parent club meeting (lol). They have juices for the kids and a fridge with plenty of non alcoholic beverages. We have been back a few times since because they often have different food vendors that are great. Definitely stop by when Blue Stone Pizza or Motherlode Deli are here.

We love going to the Hoist House. It's a very "Im on vacation feel" even though we live 2 minutes away. All the employees are awesome, and the atmosphere is perfect. I highly recommend it!!
