Have you ever met someone who just radiates with friendliness? I have. I had the most wonderful experience with Michael today. He was sweet and genuine and so helpful. Although he was wearing a mask I could see him smiling from ear to ear. Michael, you have no idea the smile you brought to my face and the warmth you brought to my heart. It makes me so happy so see friendly people still exist. Thank you for a wonderful experience. My order was perfect and warm and was out in perfect timing for my 30 min lunch. Thank you Michael for your kindness. Churches you have a great employee! Take care of him!

The food I love from many many years back, atmosphere not as good because it's closed to eat inside I believe its due to short staff and customer service it's great specially a Hispanic enthusiastic young girl that works taking customer orders with a smile and willing to serve something that is missing now in many fast food restaurants. I don't have her name, but her bosses should be thankful she works for them.

Best place to stop for quick, fresh food at a super cheap price. The food is greasy, but always hot and worth the wait for them to make it to order. I usually get a box of livers and I have yet to be disappointed. Will definitely be coming back the next time I am in the mood for hit-the-spot chicken.

Chicken and biscuits were excellent! The service was friendly. We went in to order our food and the atmosphere was good.

I recommend this place... The biscuits were delicious. They said it would be a minute to make our strips fresh. They made our drinks large for the way. They handled it very well, they made up for the wait with.

You will love the best chicken value in town Churches 5$ box. 2 pieces chicken sides and a pepper. That’s a meal you can drink the best drink water for free! My. Sister in law Goldie love this choice for eating out.

He don't come to this place for the atmosphere so that is why it's a two The food the chicken when you get it fresh and hot oh my God it is great this place focuses on the thighs and legs so you can get a value of your dollar and to me fried chicken is fried chicken you don't have to have breast and wings all the time

I was a little bit scared to get chicken from this place because of all the bad reviews, but I took a risk and I don't regret it. It was delicious, tasty, and fresh. I definitely recommend this place. The employees were very nice and fast service.

May 22 today and had a 3 piece tender fries biscuit and gravy and ranch and it was soooooo good so hot and good thank y'all and good service .

It has always been my favorite place for years. The supervisor was always there n very nice. The food was always good.

Still no dine in since Covid. Prices are a little high. Chicken is very good. No bread served with meal.

Great food, great delivery (door dash),was disappointed they had no Mac and cheese.

The chicken is always fresh and tastes really good. It's my husband's favorite place. The store itself is older but always very clean & the staff is courteous.

If you love fried chicken like I do, then this is the place to be.. Everything was fresh! Had to wait 15 mins for it to come up but it was worth it

Not sure that all the hates about. Is it the BEST fried chicken joint? No, but it's definitely better than KFC if you ask me. The chicken itself is crispy, juicy and decent. Macaroni was fairly decent for being fast food mac. The mashed potatoes were OKAY. They could be better because to me they DID taste like KFCs. but other than that I'd say it's pretty decent and I'd certainly stop in again. Husband and I like the biscuits too.

They advertise the new cheese cake but did not have the shipment in at that time ....there was a 20 minute wait on spicy chicken so we got regular after sitting awhile we had to go....

Dirty and gross like most churches chickens are perio. I love their bombers it's the only reason I go there cheese and jalapeno are excellent. My boss Got a 3 piece chicken meal the chicken with so Brown and looked like a with cooked in used motor oil. I recommend not eating here.

Fried okra was cold. Al ordered mixed and got leg thighs and two wings. No sauce for tenders and no biscuits.

The chicken was okay they are always out of apple pies and they pre-made stuff and act like they can't saperated mashed potatoes or they won't I think this location sucks

You order a meal and 90% of the time it’s not ready or it’s not available. The staff are nice enough to get everything out as quickly as possible but when they have to constantly do this for every order you know there’s a problem

Tiny pieces, long wait, greasy. They were out of thighs and livers/gizzards. You are a chicken place, you sale chicken. You might wanna keep it in stock. It was sad for me because I had great memories of Church's growing up and had bragged and bragged to my wife about it. We finally went and were thoroughly disappointed. Other locations may be better, but doubt that I will ever know.

Not sure why I continue to come to this location. The service is usually average at best, and the food is less than average. Last time we went they were out of Mac. So we called ahead and they had it so we gave them another shot. The chicken was super crispy and had an almost burnt taste to it. The girl taking the order had zero idea what she was doing. One day I'll learn. The Mac n cheese just isn't worth the headache.

The chicken was old, most of it didn’t even have crust. Very very greasy. The one of the ladies in there just sat on her phone the entire time I had to wait and didn’t help do a dang thing. Asked for sporks and honey. Got neither one. Won’t be back.

I’m wondering if this location recently changed hands. While very friendly and far quicker service in drive up lane, the chicken was overcooked and tasteless even though crispy. They made a mistake with my order, but did make it right w me. Hope they can adjust their flavor and cooking time of chicken. Will try again because I like Church’s and locations.

The first time I came here they were nice and my order was correct and well-cooked. But this evening I came through and that big Mexican lady working in the Drive-Thru has an attitude they gave me a very tiny french fry when the first time I came through a week ago they gave me a big one. It was still half raw and disgusting. Apparently do not eat here on Friday nights. Couldn't even call back to complain because they don't answer the phone and mailbox is full.

Do not eat here. We got sick n they didn't even offer a refund when we said wed gladly tske the rest if it back. Rude n dirty employees i40/Georgia

Big sign saying we have gizzards but no gizzards... sat at the drive through order spot for 4 minutes before I was told to hold on be with you soon waited a few more minutes than was told no gizzards...

Y’all really need to do something about your morning crew us and another car was there 30 minutes after open and no one took our orders and if you pull to the window the lady just stares at you

Terrible service, long wait, they advertise chicken gizzards & livers, but two days in a row and they don't have gizzards & the livers are very salty and burned. Don't waste your money here!

The food had no flavor at all. Never asked what sides we wanted. The food used to taste so good back when I was little and now it’s just horrible.

Very disorganized and poor customer service. I made my order and after I was charged for it and they were putting it together, they took out the bisquets from my order to give them to another customer on the drive through. When I said I had ordered those "Marylu" said; " I can refund your money. Those are for the person at the window" 😡😤

Is it policy to have limited items 20 minutes before closing? I ordered two chicken tender dinners and one 3 PC. legs and thighs I was told they had enough for the tenders but not for the other?

It made me give atleast a one star but this place is ridiculous. I have never seen a chicken place take so long. If you want chicken for dinner, go anywhere else. Worst chicken place. The food really isn't worth the wait at all and it's always nasty. Trust me, I did not wait for food for myself.

The last two times I have gone here they say we only have legs and thighs I told her that then she asked did I want to wait at first I said yes then before I finished placing my order I said nevermind.

It was awful. The wait was 5 min. For three genders which became 15 and they were like warm, the fries cold and no gravy. Was traveling or would have taken it back.

I was served chicken tenders that were not completely cooked tonight. I've tried to contact the store multiple times and NO ONE will answer the phone. How ironic, serve undercooked chicken tenders and not answer the phone. Will be calling the owner tomorrow.

They were rude to us to start with. I'd never had their iced tea and asked if I could just try it and if so I would get the half gallon. The young man went to ask and I heard her hatefully say we don't give out samples. The chicken batter had some seasoning on it that was different and then the tenders were tough like they had over cooked them. I contacted home office but nothing has been done as of today. No reply email or anything. We won't return to this location.

If I could give them a negative star I would, one of the most worst fast food places I have ever been to dirty nasty evening employees too!! A fun fact if you want that business to succeed fire all of those employees and add new ones Be prepared we are contacting OSHA

My wife goes through drive through today at 12pm. She orders a 5 piece combo. She gets up to the window and she asks to please have unsweet tea and honey for the biscuit. The lady says hastily like she was either very busy or just flat out rude. No we don’t do unsweet tea and no we never carry honey. She then slammers the window shut without asking if she needs anything else or thanks for your business. Ya know it’s been 30 years since we tried this place. We know now why we haven’t been there and will never go back!!!! Thanks for the great customer service and making us feel welcomed!!!

Asked for tenders said they only had legs and thighs so I asked for a number 3 which is legs and thighs and she repeated they only have legs and thighs so I asked do they not have fries and she said oh yes then said “damn” into the speaker very unprofessional will not be back

Just ordered the new Chicken Sandwich from this particular location it is was as if the staff had never made a sandwich before. The meat was ice cold ad soon as I opened it( which was within 2 min of receiving it). The bread had a dab of mayonnaise in the center of it on just the top side along with 3 little pickles. Now I see why people was soooooo in love with Popeyes Chicken Sandwich because no matter which one you went to it was going to be the same no matter what. I personally will never eat anything from the Church's on Georgia and Wolfing ever again.

Employees=garbage food=landfill full of garbage Old dirty chicken for a price that doesn't need to be that high. But do not worry I'll just call OSHA and pray that that business gets shut down so enjoy your final pay check

These people are truly rude and not customer service oriented. We told the rude woman about having a coupon and she said bc we didn’t mention it on the speaker she was unable to honor it! Then we asked for BISCUITS instead and she said that we could PAY for them even though the coupon we had showed them on there! But she said well she didn’t give us the coupon price so no biscuits! Waste of time and money for chicken that isn’t that great! Will drive across town to KFC instead or Popeyes next time!

Ordered a 5 piece meal and when I got home had only 3. Wanted mac and cheese, they were out. Wanted a chicken sandwich, they were out of chicken patties. Took over 30 min at the drive thru and I was the first in line! Never again.

HUGE price increases at Church's in the last year. You used to could get 3 pieces of chicken and fries for around $6, now it's closer to $9 and the portions are getting smaller, plus all you get for the money is dark meat. At KFC I can get a 3 piece meal with 2 breast pieces and a wing plus side of my choice for $9.99 and it COMES WITH A DRINK! Better chicken pieces and more for your money at KFC now. Also the side portions are much more generous. Sorry Church's, probably won't be back for a while.

The staff was rude there. I didn't see anyone wash their hands or have any hats or hair nets on. No gloves while handling the food. Dining room was dirty. Tables coated in grease and sticky stuff. Didn't even have a highchair for my son. The only positive is I got my refund without a fight. They must be used it.

This place sucks not only I got food poisoning. People that were mean very unfriendly didn’t have no type of sauces. No nothing most out of everything. They just need to close this place down. Stay away.

All out bad, only churches close to my son's house in armarillo texas. We were the only customer and they ask us 20 mins later what was our order again and if we can please present the receipt. They never gave us a receipt but did charge us. The manager came and said he couldn't find it order in the system. Mine you, when we ordered we never left or stepped outside the store.

Terrible experience, waited for 30 minutes to have my order served, when it was mentioned that it would take 15 minutes. At the end tasted awfully bad. Next time, I would rather stick to Popeyes, same quality whether you order it in Wisconsin or in Texas!

I was given the wrong side when I wanted Mac and cheese but was given mash potatoes however I went back and the staff took forever to open the window then I checked my chicken and it was old dry and disgusting as if it was left out for days. I do not recommend buying from here.

Very rude people and limited English. The health department should shut this place down. I saw numerous violations including a live mouse. I love Churches big wings, but if you get a 3 piece mixed only one white piece and 2 dark for $8.50 they must be out of their mind. This place will be closed soon like so many other Churches Chicken.

Brenda was the person taking our order. She got on the phone and ignored us. Then told us that we could only have thighs and legs. So we order thighs and legs. We then ordered beverages first we asked for Dr Pepper Brenda said we’re out so we asked for lemonade and she said we’re out. I asked for her name and she said why was I rude it’s not my fault we out of stuff. A gentleman came in with a toddler and the lady that was cooking went to the counter and stood the child on same counter. The experience was bad.

Horrible experience! Delivery driver picking up food for a customer. Order was 20 minutes over due and cost me money because they have no idea what they're doing. Lady was barking orders and not very friendly. She was barking orders at the only other employee but she wasn't accomplishing anything.

I went around lunch, the place was absolutely not busy at all. Took forever to get my order taken, I paid only for the man working to come back and ask if he had already charged me (wish he had).. then came back to only give me my sandwich, not the rest of my meal. If you want good and fresh food and steady paced service avoid this establishment.

Restaurant was supposed to be open for business . It was 10:50 am and two employees were having laughs and fixing themselves soft drinks with customers waiting in the parking lot. I was the third car to drive off without being served. I doubt the owner knows this goes on because I know he and his wife and they are hard working people. Need to check your opening staff.

Never got served, went through the drive thru and there was a lady in front of me who had been there for a while already, we sat behind her for 10 mins before she drove off. I pulled up giving the benefit of the dought and sure enough the guy on the intercom sounded like he didnt want to be there and said "I will be with you shortly" 10 mins later no response from anyone. So we drove off as well. As we were driving around you could see them on their phones through the window

I was craving the crispy juicy chicken, sadly dried up and overcooked is what I ended up with. Went around noon and ordered the 3 piece all white combo. The chicken was either left under the heat lamp too long or way overcooked, possibly both situation is what I believe happened. This was the worst excuse for fried chicken. Threw it straight in the trash after spending $15 on it. So disappointed.

Didn't have jalapeños,no honey, didn't give us our biscuits that we had to wait an additional 5 mins for after placing our online order. All the workers were complaining that they didn't have enough condiments and where out of most of the things we tried ordering. Chicken was 7/10 not the best church's I've had but not the worse. This placed sucks. Order around 3pm on Jun 7th and it wasn't busy so I expected better but it makes sense now. Go somewhere else!

We did an online order directly through churches website. I got the 2 piece meal and my husband got the 3 piece meal. I wanted a breast and wing and got a thigh. All 5 pieces of chicken were barely warm and so over cooked we could not eat it. It was so dry and had the consistency of jerky

Maybe I just caught them on a bad day but I had a poor experience (I used to love this place back when I lived in Amarillo), on a recent visit to Amarillo due to a doctor appointment. I ordered at the drive through and it took 22 minutes to get my food. (there were two cars in front of me). The excessive amount of the time was bad enough, but the chicken sandwich was the most depressingly tiny/small sandwich I've ever seen. On top of that, after taking 22 minutes...it wasn't even fresh.

Delivery order: This order was on time I tip well. BUT order was wrong, chicken dry (yes breasts usually are but thighs and legs were as well), breading was just tasteless, leftover chicken I think, listless coleslaw, and NO apple pie I ordered. 40 bucks for nothing but problems. Don't recommend this location at all.

We went to order at the drive thru and there was barely a response for a few minutes (not a big deal) we were then told to wait a few more minutes (again not a big deal) then she asked to give them the order. We give the order with no response and after saying our whole order we’re asked to repeat the entire order from the beginning. After repeating the entire order a second time we were rudely informed that our first request was not an option (10pc all legs) I normally wouldn’t care but it was said very rudely and left me frustrated and so I shortened my order to the bare minimum as we were still hungry. The service needs work but the food was still pretty good.

This was the WORST take-out chicken I have ever tasted in my life!! Apparently, unless you specify differently, when you order a family meal you will get legs and thighs...bland, slimy, fatty ones! The large sides(what a joke) that come with it are portioned like that of a combo meal. The mashed potatoes and gravy taste like what you would get on your hospital tray. The large corn on the Cobb comes with 2 ears(2.99 each) and cold and terrible. We also ordered a large fried okra....couldn't tell you how that was because they didn't give us any($4.99). And the only reason I know the price of these things is because I asked when ordering. They aren't in the habit of giving out receipts or answering their phone! My husband was able to find a customer service phone number online and upon calling he was told that we would receive a voucher via email for the missing okra. I will refrain from disclosing what I am going to do with said voucher when and IF it arrives! This place will NEVER get our money again! Oh and I forgot to mention that we were the only customers at that particular time....so it's not like they were too busy to put what we ordered in the bag or answer their phones. Don't waste your time or money at the church's on georgia!
