Very good food!! As close to Bolivia 🇧🇴 as you can get’ we are a Norwegian 🇳🇴/Bolivian family and have lots of experience with the traditional dishes, this food was amazing 🤩 we couldn’t get enough! Recommend 100% great service and music 🎶
🇧🇴 BOLIVIA (via Eat the World Los Angeles) - Beba's in Anaheim has been the only full [Bolivian] restaurant in Greater Los Angeles. On weekends families from all drive-able distances descend on this over 25-year-old restaurant, piling out of minivans for large hearty plates of food and live music. The community seems tight knit even though they are spread out widely, coming together here at what could be considered the Southern California cultural center of Bolivia.
4.5, rounded up to 5 My dearest Bolivian friend introduced me to this restaurant and cuisine. It is unlike any other food I have ever had. The place has ample parking and the decor is clean and minimal. While we were waiting for the food, the tv had Bolivian music videos playing. The waitress was friendly and prompt. The saltenas are out of this world. I thought it was going to taste like an empanada but no. It was so flavorful. The crust was this sweet type of pastry almost. The meat was flavorful and there was so much juice from it, almost reminded me of an XLB dumpling. I could have a bunch of these in one sitting if left to my device. I also had the soup, I can't remember the name but it was quite tasty and they give huge portions of food here. The Sajta was bomb. The chicken was so tender, it melted in my mouth. It just fell off the bone. It tasted so good and with the rice, sauce and potatoes. It was fresh and felt homemade. I can't say enough good things about the place. I will be back for sure. I thought I was going to have leftovers, but my husband ate it all as soon as I got home. I don't blame him!
I come from L.A. just for Salteñas, They are the best! Another dish to try is Salchi Papas and Silpancho 👌 Must try to drink Api and Chicha morada.
drove one hour to get here and was not disappointed! I am bolivian and it is so difficult finding a place that sells salteñas. They had such an expansive menu and food was delicious!! Service was super friendly as well. The restaurant was pretty empty but they had lots of seating and clean bathrooms. I will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu.
Best salteñas in Socal. Las mejores salteñas están en Beba’s. What are salteñas you ask? Well, they are these Bolivian style meat pies made of beef or chicken.
I visited Bebas Restaurant in Anaheim to pick up some salteña, baked empanadas that originated from Bolivia. They're shaped similar to a dumpling and are baked and not fried. The first bite and nostalgia hit pretty hard, the same taste and aroma experienced in Bolivia. Just be careful not to bite right into it because the steaming hot stew inside can burn your tongue. I picked up the chicken and beef and tried one vegetable this time. The dough is sweet, and the stew savory, flavorful and delicious. Each one cost $3.50. Best to call ahead as they're made to order and will take an average of 25 minutes or so. Or you can order onsite and visit the nearby Anaheim Town Square to pick up some other goods.
Authentic bolivian food! My wife said it smelled and tasted exactly like she remembers from Lapaz!
Bebas restaurant has the most delicious vegeterian Salteñas.
I love the food! It’s delicious. I live on Sonoma county, but every visit here it’s a delight for my palate.
Best. Salteñas. Ever. I've searched high and low in OC for salteñas and these have been the best. I've admittedly never tried anything else or have dined inside. I just go for my pre-ordered salteñas for pick up and I love them.
We had Beba's restaurant for our Thanksgiving and it was absolutely amazing

Great food. The saldenas are like soup filled empanadas. They’re the best. I can eat like 4 and be really full.

Authentic and delicious food. Only thing is they don't say the prices on the menu. It's about $20 - $30 per meal. They also charge $1 to use card so make sure to bring cash.
Pretty good food. Milanesa, fries, rice and side salad with Maracuya drink is what I had. Clean environment, presentable, & kind people.
My comfort food, yum 😋 ✍️✍️✍️ Come here all the time for the salteñas and silpancho. Love love 💕

The food is good, the only place to get authentic Bolivian food in OC. You have to order at the counter now and then go sit down. So if there are more than a few people you are gathered around a menu trying to order your food together. The place is also a banquet hall and definitely looks like they party here! Come for the authentic Bolivian food and not the service.
Saltenas were great and returning solely for them. Seemed like a family owned restaurant with nice decoration. The main meals felt a little bland, but I am not familiar with Bolivian cuisine. We ordered, got out water and food and never saw waitress again - did seem like a quiet time of Daya and would not be surprised if they helped out in kitchen.

The Food is like a traditional Bolivian mother’s home. I enjoyed my silpancho plate and the owner makes her bread in house. Some food is not available like the peanut soup, empanadas de queso. This place has a lot of potential! But it needs help/guidance to improve. The service needs help. Our server only checked on us when she would deliver the food, then disappear. The place should have a cash bar in place, but it does not. Also, there is no menu to give the guests. Their front of the house menu has no prices. This place has potential to improve!

Okay I want to start off by saying I’m from Bolivia. I just got back from there less than 2 weeks from the day of this posting. I had one of my favorite dishes called silpancho which I personally thought that wouldn’t be too hard to mess up. But somehow they did. Honestly the best thing about this place food wise, is their Inca cola and bread. I didn’t have another plate because I could barely ate the plate I had. I heard the owner is from Bolivia, and if he/she ever reads this I would like to know why you chose that meat to cook with because it was honestly God awful. My parents wanted to go here hence why I went and even they agreed it isn’t good. So if 3 Bolivians say it doesn’t taste like Bolivian food, or that it’s even good, I would say don’t go here.
Awful service awful food was completely empty. They microwave the food. Cool was listening to country music in a Latin place. Please do not come here
