I love Panera bread I went there that morning and bought two baguettes because I was making spinach dip . their prices went up tremendously the baguettes used to be $2.49. They’re about $4.50 I paid 9.89 for just 2.

Nice vegitarian options. Easy computerized self order terminal, that offers the option to purchase discounted pastries before you submit. Food was ready in under 10 mins and was super yummy! When we couldnt finish, it was easy to wrap up our food and go. Up at the counter they had a little area with different size lids and boxes. 'Very convenient! Bathrooms and dining area. The staff were friendly and attentive. Overall a nice place to grab a quick bite!!

Stopped in for a meeting and a snack. Quick friendly service, fast preparation of good fresh food. The store is very well maintained, with plenty of well lit inviting space. Moved our meeting outdoors to enjoy the sunshine. The outside sitting area was clean, and also well maintained.

The food is so good here with a large variety. The atmosphere is so relaxed you can eat and work in peace.

I want to leave my comment. The tomato soup before was delicious, creamier, and the new one now is more acidic. You can feel the acidic flavor more; it has pieces of tomato. I don't dislike it, but personally, I loved the previous soup that they had, everything was very delicious, but I'm a little sad because my favorite soup didn't feel the same. 🥺

Very nice shop! They have goodies to eat like muffins and cookies. They also have sandwiches and bagels. Lots of different type of bagels. Lots of drinks too. Many types of coffee and tea. Sodas. Lots of comfortable seating too. There are booths and tables inside and a nice outdoor seating area. I suggest you give it a try! I think you will enjoy it!

Keeping things in perspective, there are no French bakeries/cafe's to be compared to and many others at all, I'm rating with a 5. The small quiche are addictive, coffee drinks are good and service was spot on. Good management. I will advise to try to go early in the day for pastries & bread. When I have arrived in the evening, things were starting to harden.

Sandwiches and pastries are delicious, tasty baguette rolls. Staff is always friendly and polite. Lemonade and coffee need improvement or would receive 5 stars.

Good as usual. Crowd as usual. But i ordered the asian chicken salad and asked to add mandarin oranges. It came without. When i asked the manager he said, "we don't have them now, they are out of season." REALLY? Canned mandarins have a season??? Who knew.

So every Panera is kinda the same. Food hits it out of the park. The one here in Brentwood is getting a little worn down. The boothes all have holes or patches. Dirty floors. Weird thing is that the place was packed and every time I've gone has been packed. So you'd think they would invest in making it look good too.

A great salad for me and my quest. The only complaint is after the ordering the food , the bulletin board says "order is ready" it take some time when you actually receive it. This need to improve next time I will phone in order to speed things it.

I loved my soup but the bread bowl was burnt! It was a picked up order so it wasn't checked until I got it at home. It's not expected for the price. I wasn't really able to eat the bread unfortunately.

Update post: we went here last night I had the Broccoli Cheddar Soup and half of a Turkey Bacon Sandwich. Never had it but it was delish! My friend had the Creamy tomato soup with a sandwich as well. But these both came with half of French baguette, It was paired so good. I totally recommend it. This Panera bread is located in the nice shopping center. You will have no problem looking for a parking spot! There’s also plenty of seating. The staff were friendly but they can smile a bit more. Love their sandwich and soup combo. We were a little bit disappointed that they no longer have the black bean soup in their menu. (Well at this this location). Their chocolate chip cookie was soft and chewy. You can have it warmed up if you like. Other than that they have a variety of food to choose from in the menu.

I've eaten here plenty of times but tonight (Sunday night @ 7pm) seems they were out of everything. No Napa almond salad, no straws (this is California) and the garbage outside was overflowing granted having two big garbage cans. Then I watched as a woman rumbled through the garbage for cans and other stuff. Not what I want to see while eating.

Good food, nice music, trash everywhere and dirty floors; dont get me started on how bad the restroom was.

Missing food. We ordered online so we could enjoy family night. Drove out and they checked off the order. Got home and an entire meal was missing. Had to drive back and pick it up. The food is too expensive to have to waste the time and gas fixing their error.

Service was fine but prices are getting out of line for the quality and quantity of food. In particular, the 1/2 Asian chicken salad was dry and boring for $7.29 plus tax.

So i haven't eaten here for a few years. Decided to try it again. $12 for a chicken sandwich with zero sides of any kind or drink. $12 for a bowel with undercooked rice and a side of bread. Definitely remember why I don't eat here. Every table that was empty was dirty. Seats had crumbs on them. I know it's the new norm on the pay tablets up front to ask for tip. But if we aren't being served have to get the food ourself and tables are dirty. Why are we tipping at this place.

06/2023 update This update is regarding outside Panera. There is panhandling outside Panera. A woman asking for food or a cookie and she doesn't leave you alone. She negotiates too. When we told her we don't have cash or change she said to get her something inside instead. Panera, please take care of this issue outside your store? The place always has lots of dirty dishes on the table and the floor always has lots of crumbs and trash. The salad - if you look closely some of the greens are already bad. Hard to tell when salad is all mixed in specially with the dressing so be careful and check as not to get sick. Tables and chair (the ones we sit on) are sticky Just a bit disappointed with the store condition and cleanliness and food quality.

The imagery for the Duet grilled cheese sandwich and soup was attractive, so I ordered two. One for me and one for my daughter. The soup tasted fantastic. We both were disappointed in the quality of the grilled cheese sandwich. It was a flat sandwich with 1 slice of cheese melted into the bread.

Although the food was delicious and the server was very considerate and welcoming, the dining area was very dirty, tables not clean, trash area overflowing with garbage and floors littered with straws, lids, and napkins. Disappointed in how unsanitary it felt eating there.

This place is fine, but their soda/ice fountain is broken more than a McDonald's ice cream machine. I have the Sip Club so I go in Panera for drinks a lot and this particular location it's down like every 2 weeks for several days. Strange. Edit: it has been over a week since I wrote this and the ice/soda fountain is still broken. Bad look for a major chain.

Tonight took a while to get a salad - over 10 minutes, and restaurant was not busy. Out of a couple of the Sobe bowls. Also, store wasn't clean - at least 6 tables needed to be cleaned while we ate, and the floor needed to be cleaned, too. Not my favorite Panera, food is OK. Next time, I will stick with ordering ahead.

The cashier was not very customer friendly. She ask what I wanted and I said French baggett. Before I could finish She then pointed behind me and said "well there some right there" then I proceeded to complete my sentence and let her know I had other items I was interested in purchasing. "Oh" was her response. After I finished telling her my order I asked her if she could please slide the bread. She made a loud sigh and I she probably didn't think I heard her but I heard her loud and clear. I didn't think selling and slicing bread was such a burdensome job. I did not appreciate the attitude and hopefully next time I go I'll have a better experience.

This is the closest location to me so I usually go to this location staff is all super nice however the last few times I've ordered I am always missing items , if not a bakery item the fruit cup or a completely different order given for example this morning I ordered a sausage egg & cheese, got to my car and they missed the sausage patty. Had to go back in and let the kitchen staff know . Girl in the back gave a bit of attitude when it was addressed.

I used to love this location, customer service used to be good, and customers used to respect the rules cleaning after themselves. Today, service wasn't friendly, tables were messy with plates and trays for over an hour, coffee was cold, and no hot water for over 45 min, and don't mention the restrooms. Hope they can come back to better service soon

I ordered on line, no curbside pickup. Signs everywhere but since it was my first time there, I found it confusing. My order was not ready. I ordered French onion soup and mac & cheese with a cookie. I did not get my cookie. The soup was good but not spectacular. Mac & cheese was very creamy but lacked flavor. The piece of bread that came with the order was delicious. I will order their bread in the future but unsure about other items.

Truly the dirtiest Panera Bread I've ever been to. Mostly empty coffee bar. Garbage and dirty dishes everywhere. Manager was overworked and not friendly. Thank goodness for our cashier, Tyler , who saved the day with his friendly smile and awesome service.

I love Panera and there food BUT today when I walked in for Mother’s Day to pick up some chocolate chipper cookies I went back and the cookies were sooo hard. The manager gave me my money back but had horrible customer service. A while back the management was AMAZING but today was the worst experience ever. Definitely going to speak to the general manager.

I wouldn’t recommend using the app for delivery. You cannot request a refund through there. I had my order delivered and was missing items but in order to get a refund you have to go into the store (unlike doordash where you can say what is missing). Other than that I love Panera but the app- not so much.

They ALWAYS manage to get my sandwich order incorrect lol it’s happened 3 times in a row now. Please hire people who read the tickets before making the orders. Can’t be good for profit margins with just giving away sandwiches because y’all can’t take them back after making them incorrectly.

Coffee luke warm, no decanter with skim milk for oatmeal. The first person I told about coffee, acted like I was bothering her. 2nd person for the milk, very nice. This location has multiple issues. Too bad, because I love Panera Bread and go to many other locations, without problems.

When I came to pick my curbside order, I've waited for 20 minutes and no-one showed up. Went inside and been told that my order has been lost. They prepared another one for me pretty quick (that's why 2 stars and not 1), but I lost a lot of time waiting for the lost order. Probably not ordering anything else in nearest future

This location has really gone down hill. The place had dust & crumbs in most places & the veggies on our sandwiches & salad were far from fresh. Really bummed about it since this location is closest to my house. Thankfully there are other locations that still have the high, clean, fresh standards that I love from Panera.

Food was good but the service was horrible!!! I used the quick check out cause the cashier was taking 5 + minutes per one person order - I asked her if I can get a receipt and she flat out said that I can’t have one rolling her eyes at me, I said go ask your manager- they told her it prints out with the order—- never goi g here again!!!

I am getting really frustrated because it seems when I order the broccoli chicken warm bowl, which is $14.39, it is less than half full. My Baja Chicken warm bowl always has an acceptable amount of food but the broccoli chicken warm bowl (at least from the Antioch location) I’d definitely not worth the price as they seem to always split my share with someone else. Sorry I forgot to take a photo this time. Truly mad that I can’t trust them and will check before I leave the store next time. Tasted good but very sad and disappointed.

Ordered turkey with cheddar cheese. Had a feeling my order was wrong but was late for work to double check. When i opened the bag at work during my lunch break noticed it was a tuna fish sandwich. Only had 30 minutes for lunch so i ate it anyways. Felt sick after eating it. Always liked panera but might have to go to different location next time

There are obvious problems with keeping the customer area neat and functional. Some of the self-service terminals did not work, one of them was missing, all of them had no transponders, the rug at the drinks counter looked like it was brought from a garbage dump, some benches had ripped top, there were no lids for large cups. The employee, instead of giving me a transponder, said they would call me by name. My order was already ready and stood at the counter and no one called me. On the whole, we can conclude that the management is either absent here, or does not cope with its duties. But they do not forget to raise prices!

I'm very disappointed with the visit I waited 40 minutes for food to arrived at my table after three time that I ask for it they say it will take another couple of minutes, minutes that I didn't had was to hungry my sugar was low to biging with. So they offer some other dish which was awful. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT.

Don't waste your time dining inside this place. Its so filthy 😫 soda machines not working the floor are so dirty my feet where sticky to the floor. Trash cans where over flowing, trash all over the floor. They definitely wouldn't pass inspection.

On April 15, 2021, around 5:30 pm, I went to Panera #600929 on Longtree, in Antioch, CA to pick up dinner. I was looking forward to trying a new menu item. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken Bowl. What I received verses the picture shown on the menu, was like night and day. I was so disappointed! It made my stomach turn. It didn't look appealing or appetizing at all. However, the food tasted better than it looked so I decided not to totally give up on Panera. Fast forward to today, April 30, 2021, around 1:22 pm, I decided to give the Teriyaki Chicken Bowl another try. This time the bowl looked worse than before and the taste was horrible. I throw up all that I had eaten. I would think the prepared food would look a little like the picture on the menu and less like dog food, especially when it cost me $11.49. I took pictures of each bowls from the 2 different days but I'm unable to post them. Come on, Panera, it's time to work out the kinks and get it together.

Ordered sourdough bread and some bagels online. It said it would be ready in 10 min. I got there 15 min. later and it was not ready, then they took another 10 min looking for the order, it was getting ridiculous! They finally found it and proceeded to get my order with no rush at all. When I asked what happened, the lady simply said, "oh we didn't see it", WHAT!? The people that work here are a joke! I ordered it online because I was in a hurry. Well that didn't work out!

Order was wrong missing sandwich, tried calling manager but phone rings then disconnects. This after a 25 min wait for order. Also, no bread for soups... time for some better planning and customer service for customers after 7pm get the left overs or shorted on orders. Not the first, second, or third time either.

I meet my friend here for lunch. She was starting to order as I walked in. It was like 2 minutes I was waiting to be served while only one person up taking orders. The a young man came to the counter and I started my order. I never been here before. I asked questions and had a sandwich. My friend had order 1/2 sandwich and salad. I finished my order like 2 minutes before hers. I was standing next to her while this girl could not figure out her change because it was $16.38 . My friend handed her a $20.00. Then said oh I have the .38 cents. The girl says oh I can only give you the change what the receipt says. This young girl could not know how to give her because she only knew what the receipt says.I told the girl that 20-16=4 so you give her $4.00 back. This girl still couldn't get it. My sandwich had no mayo and tons of mustard and my friends salad had hardly any chicken like 4 pieces and a few slices of strawberries but tons of lettuce and mandarin oranges. I will never go back here.

Ordering to go is a nightmare ,always have to sit there 20 mins after the set pickup time for the simplest of orders while multiple people that just walked in walk out with their food before me. Not to mention the mediocre quality of the food everytime without fail and the confused look on the staffs faces when you ask a question. DONT RECOMMEND.

Went to Panera in Century Plaza Antioch California. I saw the food items (4 Soufles) that I desired in display along with various danishes and muffins. I eagerly waited in line. When it was my turn I pointed to the 4 soufles. As another employee grabbed muffins and twists from the same display case and served the customers next to me, Christopher the employee serving me grabbed all 4 soufles and placed them directly into the trash can "in my face" at counter while other customers gasped! then told me the item in window display we're not available for sale at this time. Now I understand that there are time measures in accordance with health and food safety however, I found his timing, communication, customer care and engagement to be very hurtful, and rude. If they weren't for sale, why were they being displayed? Why did Chrisopher not remove them prior to taking orders. Why make your customer wait in line for a displayed item that is no longer available? Thank you for your ear. Sincerely, Sadly humiliated and still hungry

If I could give ZERO stars here I would. While I love the freshness of Panera's food, the last two orders have been completely wrong. I try to call the store to speak to a manager. It rings about 20 times and then disconnects you. Very displeased.

Ordered curbside but still had to go in after waiting. Went to get food and I had to make my own drink as it was not ready either. Checked bag and my cookie was missing. I was told to see the cashier upfront, but had to wait in line as he was with other customers.

Typically I am not one to write a negative review, but Im honestly just really frustrated. I love Panera but lately they haven’t been hitting the mark for me.. I’ve had missing items, or items I’ve ordered and then arrive at the location just for them to tell me they are out. Stuff like that I get, although frustrating I understand they run out, and it’s not their faults. Now, my recent 3 trips to this location I have had a problem with quality control with my food. My first trip they ran out of my typical order so they offered me a different Mac and cheese, only for it to be burnt. Then last week I ordered some cookies for my coworkers, and they ran out so they gave me chocolate chippers.. they were literally hockey pucks, I get crunchy cookies but These were almost not edible. Slapped some butter on it and put it in the microwave to soften them, no big deal. Now today, I ordered stuff from the bakery hoping they wouldn’t run out of the cookies I ordered, and good news!! They had it!! Got home to see the cookies were again so so burnt, the bottom of them were black.. I don’t know what’s going on in the bakery these days, but I hope they can fix it, because I really do enjoy panera.

Waited curbside for almost 10 minutes after receiving confirmation that my order was ready. Didn’t receive my drink and had to drive all the way back only for the drink to be unavailable. The drink I did end up getting tastes moldy. This was the last straw for me & I won’t be returning to this location again.

Poor sub par service I really liked their pastries however we ordered two Summer Fruit Cups and both had spoiled fruit. Now if it was in a ready made container I may have been more understanding. However we dined at the restaurant. So they had to plate it prior to serving Unacceptable if we could see it then so should staff. I have high standards and they no longer meet them. I will no longer reccomend them.

I just order a smoothie and yogurt parfait for this restaurant. I tasted the smoothie and it tasted like pure rotten yogurt. I call and all they offer to do was put my name in the system for a free one next time. I told them I did not trust my parfait as well because it is also mainly yogurt and all he said he could do was the free smoothie. I tasted the parfait and sure enough it was rotten yogurt again. I also had my dad taste both item and he agreed as well. Poor costumer service. They should have refunded me my meal.

Not sure what happened. Ordered two Napa Chicken sandwiches for pick-up and two cinnamon rolls and the sandwiches were almost frozen. The chicken was so cold like it literally just came out of the freezer to defrost. The sandwiches were extremely messy with most of the chicken on the paper wrap rather than Inside where it should be. No side pickles like usual and our pastries were hard as rocks. Highly disappointed with the quality of the food for the ridiculously high prices.

Doordash, ubereats, grubhub etc drivers avoid this restaurant they are extremely slow they have me waiting for 30 minutes and do not prioritize the order for us. And employees lie about the estimated wait time. This wait time is ridiculous and shows they do not care about us drivers nor the customers placing orders through 3rd part apps

I paid for unlimited sip cup yet was charged twice. Called customer service only for them to say no refunds on unless sip cup. This fraud, theft and horrible customer service so I have a lawyer looking Into the case for me

Have ordered food as delivery many times. 3 out of the 4 times we’ve ordered the chicken Caesar salad and had them missing the chicken. Tonight our delivery was missing our drink! This location is horrible, especially for takeout orders! I used to love going to Panera until I started going to this location. My orders are always wrong or mislabeled. I understand that we're all human and can make mistakes sometimes, but the staff, including the team manager, show no accountability, empathy, nor willingness to fix errors. I somehow always get the blame for their shortcomings instead of an apology. I'm done wasting my money here.

Service just not exist spend their almost 10 minutes in front of the register with four more people no one even bothered to see what’s going on. If we need any help total ignorance it seems like some employee just don’t care or just don’t want to do their job. I don’t have a lot of expectation just a small reminder to the people that in charge on that branch I’m a businessman. I have a company if my secretary or my people in my business were acting or treating customers like that I will fire them in a heartbeat not a rocket sign just be behind the register and take the stupid order. Waited there for 30 minutes to receive my order. The young man (nice) kept giving everyone their orders. He saw that I was waiting and asked the name for my order. He said okay, and looked at his device and returned packaging orders. I'm thinking that Maybe it's busy so im waiting. Okay, that's fine. 20 minutes go by for him to say that my order never came in and maybe reorder it at the front because they have everything for my order stocked !!!! I get to the front register for her to tell me that they don't have the items needed for my order!! I was so livid I just walked out. Mind you, several managers were there who walked by me AND one of them was in front of me pouring soups the whole time. Customer service means to not just look at a customer and have them waiting 30 minutes. First and last time I'll ever come to this location. So inconsiderate.

The food at panera is great! Good atmosphere and always clean. However, there is always no coffee, it takes so long for the workers to restock it leading us to wait at least fifteen minutes each time we come. There is also this one cashier who's name is CASSIDY, who has a bad attitude with most of the costumers. All the staff here are lovely and very hard working, but we unfortunately had a bad experience with this cashier. Otherwise, great restaurant!

Do not recommended anything at this location it has been poorly ran for over 20+ visits with never changing results but more horrible experiences. I had a terrible experience at this restaurant, which had the rudest manager I have ever encountered. I went there with a family of eight and we ordered a lot of food. Unfortunately, half of the food was frozen, and the soup tasted like it came straight from a can—cold and unappetizing, with no croutons and soggy bread. There was no greeting or courtesy from the staff, and the attitude was extremely poor. I do not recommend this place at all.
