Greatest latte I've had close to the coast. Friendly staff and a very charming open space environment to sit down for a while. You can see the ocean from some outside seats. I tried their oatmeal banana snack too and it was delicious, great and filling since I'd missed breakfast. Thanks for being original and lovely!

Great coffee shop! The ambiance was cozy and cute. Bummer the street fighter machine was out of order, but the everything bagel pastry was great and coffee and full of flavor.

A colorful coffee spot. A good variety of drinks options. I ordered the tea latte, I selected the earl gray tea and it was perfect. The latte was make with steamed milk so it wasn't as heavy as other tea lattes I have had. Staff was friendly and helpful for new people. Make Cat & Cloud a stop!

After living in Europe for 3 1/2 years, I finally found a coffee spot in the central coast that fits the vibes and has quality coffee and espresso! When I say quality, I’m tired of getting a cup of coffee or told I have an espresso martini that does not have espresso in it because they don’t have a real machine. This spot had the cutest colors, great amount of space and made me a dirty chai that I can’t wait to have again!

The BEST cappuccino — and Gluten Free scones served by smiling welcoming staff. Friendly, inviting, open, airy, spacious with indoor/outdoor seating. This inviting cafe with unique artwork is right at the Aptos train station. Can’t wait to return! Thank you for the great start to the day!

First time visiting this cafe after a referral from a friend and listening to the podcast! Did not disappoint. Every detail from the first step into the cafe is intentional. Employees are personable, relaxed, friendly and lighthearted. Layout is spacious, aesthetically pleasing (both with color coordination and branding), comfortable. Many different seating options and an outlet at every chair. Ordered a cappuccino and the breakfast burrito. Well priced, high quality tasted in everything. My boyfriend thought the burrito was slightly sweet in a good way and thought there was brown sugar in it, but I’m pretty sure it was cumin cooked in the potatoes—either way, a homemade cooking touch. The store’s baked goods are sourced from manresa bread and look amazing. Matcha is in pure powder form, not a sugar-concentrate, and there is seasonal pumpkin spice as well to add to the traditional European coffee offerings (caffe au lait; flat white, etc.) From the easygoing and accommodating staff to the durable to-go cups, lids, and napkins, to the clever logo and branding, it’s easy to see how they’ve opened 3 stores within a few short years and I look forward to returning for study days whenever I’m back from San Diego!

Absolutely excellent coffee, service/staff, sitting areas, and the avocado toast was delicious. My favorite coffee bean is “The Answer”, but I have yet to be disappointed with any of their beans! This really is top tear beans and the best place to go for coffee connoisseurs. This time I’m trying their “Ethiopia” beans. I got a Matcha late, which was absolutely decadent, no need to add anything to it. The staff was incredibly helpful in helping me pick a new flavor and explained the flavor profile of each different bean in detail. They have Wi-fi available to connect to and tables to sit and work at. Everything was spotless and kept very clean. I had no problem finding parking. I highly recommend this coffee house to those who are looking for a really good cup of coffee, great environment, and experience. This place is truly a gem in Aptos. I will be coming back here as often as I can!

Hot strawberry matcha here was amazing! Another friend got the blackberry and basil matcha, that one was just okay. It does have a lot of seating which was sublime! The parking lot was super full when we came on Saturday morning.

While the coffee leaned a bit brighter than my personal taste (I usually go for something bold), it was still well-crafted — especially the espresso. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Cat & Cloud is definitely worth a few visits while in town.

Although almond croissants are my favorite I guess I’m spoiled. It wasn’t very fresh tasting. Had a tasty cappuccino though and staff was lovely and I like the large industrial space w pops of color and plants.

The coffee is great but the workers dropped the ball, was given a Latte instead of the Mocha. It wasn't busy in there either. I was in a rush so didn't have time to go back into the store to ask them to remake it. Ordered a burrito and avocado toast. My gf got the smallest pitiful piece of bread for the avo toast. The burrito was below mids, it had a weird sweet taste and it was more tortilla then fillings, the "salsa" was even worse imo all I could taste was lime. The food definitely does NOT "slap" (as mentioned in the website lol), it's all mids at most. I'll stick to just their coffee and avoid the food.

they sell their own brand of instant coffee. if you like pastels and brave birds venturing inside, you'll love it here. Aptos is hillbilly hip and happening! Cat and Cloud is across the street from where Terrible Herbst used to stand, adjacent to the old creepy Bayview Hotel, currently for sale and begging to be revived to its former glory. if ever a guest there, you should walk past to admire and marvel and drop in at Norma Jean's, whose coffee shop predates even the Starbuck's behind where Terrible Herbst loomed large. Cat and Cloud has another location on Portola Dr as well. the brews are bold and fresh and the grab-n-go burritos are especially epic with soyrizo and an extra green sauce. Norma Jean's horchata latte is a tasty twist. with freedom comes great responsibility! ...y'all come back now, y'hear? 😉🤠 ...no, watching Little House on the Prairie while writing this review did NOT influence its content! and no, i am NOT a Negative Nellie for there can only be one True One of those 🤸‍♀️!!!

Pros: really clean place, beautiful location, staff was pretty friendly. Cons: no cheese on a breakfast burrito that seemed to be 90% potato… Served with an unappetizing avocado salsa that tasted bizarre together. The chai was so sugary it could kill a horse. What happened to traditional spiced chai? $20 for the potato burrito and a teeny tiny, sugary chai.

This will be my last time visiting cat and cloud. I just paid $43 for two coffee and burritos. I see the 3% charge is added to all orders to cover employees health insurance- which only applies to full time members so most employees don’t get this benefit. If you care about your employees or customers build this into the price
