If I could I would give 10 stars. I eat here at least once a month and the staff at the Aptos location are BEYOND friendly. They are so happy and welcoming!! The sandwiches are consistently fresh and tasty. They don’t charge extra for sprouts OR avocado (in fact they comes default on a lot of the sandwiches!) Honestly I wish it took them longer than the less than 5 minutes it usually takes to make the sandwich. It would give me more time to look at all the local historical images on the walls. Super fun to see the history of the area before taking your food out to the lovely outdoor seating. RESPECT YOUR PICKLE!! 😂😍

We had just came from a hike in Nisene Marks State Park and it was cool to see some pictures from there on the walls. Food is always good here. We often visit the Erik's close to home so we knew we'd like it here and we were not wrong. It's kinda hidden since it's behind another store but easy to see the signs from the parking lot. Highly recommended.

After dropping off the 7 Winklesticks and two boxes of Bluehanker Gobblygoons to Uutaacuss Coombaba the Sea Urchin diver from Uganda I was whipped. I think he's going to use those things to scrape the barnacles off his trawler, and I told him that's not what they're designed for, but he just mumbled and made some popping noises like the Bantu tribesmen do. He paid me and I couldn't get out any faster. I made a beeline straight for Eric's DeliCafe they're the best on the coast. 5 stars all day long. ☆☆☆☆☆

One of the first Erik's Delis. This place makes great sandwiches and has that old school farm house style to it. Complete with a cast iron oven on display. Enjoy it while you can, Safeway Corp is slowly buying up the entire shopping center so that it can tear everything down and build a Mega-Safeway.

He even knows how to make the old cruzen club sandwich. I'm very excited to have finally found an excellent sandwich maker who knows his stuff. I have been going to this Erik's Deli since I was a freshman at Atos High back in 1977.

I've been eating at Erik's for 30+ years. I still like it and eat there often. How they managed to maintain their excellent quality over so many years is impressive.

It's an Erik's.... The sandwiches are okay, soup is very good. There are better, local, places to go if you want a sandwich. Although Erik's is definitely good if it's the only one around.

Upon entering and looking at the menu, it's more of a mix, with sandwich, soup and salads. There isn't too much variety in their sandwiches compared to some other shops. The Dub Sub was good with a healthy portion of meat and produce. It just wasn't anything special unfortunately.

Very rude customer service today. Extremely disappointed in the customer service or lack there of that I received upon my arrival to the store and having to wait just to be told where the line was. I was in line I had been waiting for some time in line.

When I called the # on the receipt, which is Erik's Aptos location, and explained the situation, the person on the food was adamant they do not do delivery service, and obviously, they don't sell Chinese food, so I must have ordered from Door Dash. I. DID. NOT!!! I ordered directly on the eriksdelicafe.com site. It's even linked on the Yelp page here. It turns out Erik's uses some service called Olo. But there is no way to contact Olo as a consumer and request a refund. The receipt actually says call the original store and has the store's number. We did, and were told we were crazy. Even the Olo help pages said to contact the original store. It makes no sense if this was a Door Dash service that they would make the consumer call the store. Olo is a third-party service, but it's licensed by Erik's and Erik's is responsible for the screwed up door. I've been tipping well each time we've ordered thinking it was an Erik's employee. I'd ask for a refund, but there's nowhere to ask for it. They better not spit in my food next time when I escalate this issue!
