I went to Nonno Grillo last night with my girlfriend and we had a wonderful meal. The pizza is exceptional: fresh ingredients, excellent quality, and a very light dough. The owner is a wonderful person; he welcomed us with great kindness and made us feel at ease right away. A great place to definitely return to. Highly recommended.

This pizza restaurant is a real treat in Verbania. I think the pizzas are the best in the entire province. Top-quality ingredients, from San Marzano to provola, and other specialties. The dough is incredibly light, and the food is delicious too! The atmosphere is lovely; it never makes you feel uncomfortable, whether you're wearing a shirt or a tracksuit. The new owners are truly welcoming. Keep up the good work, guys. You're great!

Pizza con cornicione, buona lievitazione. Peccato che con queste tipologie quando la pizza tende a raffreddare diventa leggermente ciccosa. La pizza è comunque buona e con i soliti prezzi che si trovano in altri posti. Locale leggermente rumoroso se è pieno. Personale gentile e disponibile, menù bimbi disponibile. Tirneremo per provare gli altri piatti del menù.

Ambiente molto semplice e alla buona, comunque curato. Pizza buonissima, impasto leggero e molto idratato e ingredienti molto buoni. Servizio veloce e semplice. La sera di S.Valentino abbiamo aspettato Max 10 minuti le nostre pizze🫶🏻

Siamo stati ieri sera con amici, mangiato pizza bufalona, ottima e prodotti di qualità, una tartare, pasta allo scoglio molto buona e un ottimo fritto di seppioline con verdure in pastella. Prezzi nella norma. C'era tanta gente, ma siamo stati serviti velocemente e con attenzione. Ci torneremo di sicuro.

This restaurant and pizzeria recently reopened under new management. The place is clean and welcoming, with friendly staff. The welcome drink was very welcome. We opted for pizza, so we can't comment on the food. The pizza dough is good and easy to digest. The desserts on the menu weren't all available at the time, but the homemade ones we tried were very good. It was a positive experience, and we highly recommend it.

Con amici abbiamo provato le pizze , buon gusto come i prodotti utilizzati. Unico appunto condiviso con gli amici la leggera “gommosità” iniziale mentre era calda. Una volta giunti negli ultimi pezzi l’effetto gomma aumenta. Mi spiace 🫤 molto , ambiente piacevole. Buoni di dolci.

A go-to place for local community here, the waitress was very nice and helpful with non-italian speaker customers. I chose pasta and pannacotta from the pictures in Google map.... However, it seemed that what they served 6 or years ago and today is not the same. 😅😅

Classic pizza restaurant that, however, surprised me with the kitchen menu: there aren't many dishes but we found them exquisite! I tried a couple of forkfuls of tartare, it was well seasoned and the meat felt like it was quality. The fillet with three peppers was fantastic for me, I hadn't eaten such tender meat for a long time, and it was cooked rare in a masterly way. The pizza was a bit of an Achilles heel, the filling was decent but the dough was a bit rubbery and I struggled to digest it. The calzone was curious, definitely worth trying. The service, despite the place being full, was fast and friendly. Overall a good experience, the cuisine gets full marks! I recommend it.

For starters, my husband got sick after eating the panna cotta. The place isn't bad, the prices are high, and one waiter had black fingernails. Obviously, never again.
