Discovered this place this weekend and had a great experience. The restaurant was clean (and decorated really cute-ly), our waitress was nice and helpful, the prices were reasonable, the breakfast portion sizes were excellent, and the food was tasty. There was no wait to be seated and we got our food within 5-10 minutes of ordering, which was fantastic. One of my favorite parts was seeing the staff (2 waitresses and a lady who seemed like the manager/owner) interact with other guests at the restaurant…it’s clear this restaurant has regulars who come to enjoy it, and they’ve developed friendships with the staff, which was wholesome and enjoyable to see/overhear.

Wonderful, excellent and friendly service. The food is AMAZING. Very welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend MID CITIES CAFE for breakfast. The pancakes are HUGE. Their great service has won me over. This place deserves 10 Stars.

Definitely a hidden gem! The servers are very friendly and hard working. Even the cooks will come out and greet you, if they aren’t too busy of course. The food is very tasty and fairly proportionate. I come here with my two daughters (1yr and 2 yr old) and they are already best friends with the staff. A must visit place if you’re in the area

Great Place: Food A, Atmosphere A and Service A. Extensive Review: I was really upset when I arrived, and the whole minute it took them to seat me I was enraged! Winter was my server and she was polite and peaceful. The music was too! Clean, recently renovated, well decorated and simple. Food came out in good time and I was already doing better. It tasted really good and even the fruit was fresh (berries). Antonio, head chef came out to greet one of the patrons, and took some time to greet me. Great people! Shout out to Christian who made my delicious omelette. I hear Jenny, the owner is the one who cultivates such a great atitude, thank you!

Good food, good price , good atmosphere. Been coming here since they opened and the place is always upgrading their service and atmosphere without the impact to the food or price (especially during and after COVID). On my last visit, they now have new lighting, furniture, and digital ordering along with antiseptic lotion at every table... And prices still seem to be the same. The owner always remembers returning patrons which makes for a very personal welcome. Thanks MCC.

It has been 4 years since we have eaten at this little Cafe. And I have to say it was such a joy compared to our previous visit! We went during brunch on a week day. Service was decent and good was delicious.

Very nice breakfast cafe. Quiet place that's cozy and warm. Staff was helpful and nice. Food was good. Wife had the California omelette with a side of fruit and pancake. Yes, a single normal pancake is available as a side. I got the 2x2x2 which is eggs, bacon/sausage, and pancakes. I added on the side of potatoes (hash browns for me). Sausage is either Patty or links, I prefer patties. Hash browns we're nice and crispy. Plenty of condiments etc. at each table. Taking some pancakes home, and as a nice touch, they have little cups with butter and syrup for you to take with you. Wife enjoyed the omelette. This was her second visit. She wanted me to try it. Glad she did!

Great local spot for breakfast. Our waitress was very attentive. My omelette was well made. The potatoes were excellent, very crispy and fresh- probably my favorite part of the meal. My husband enjoyed his migas.

The food was exceptional. However it took a really long time to arrive to our table which is why I didn't a 5. If you want hometown cooking. This is a great place to go. Especially for breakfast too.

The staff is nice but we waited more than an hour after ordering before we got our food. The waiter checked in once and let us know they were busy making to go orders and hadn't gotten to ours yet. WHAT?! Even after we got our food, it was mediocre. The chicken was stringy and dry and no amount of sauce could make it less bland. The blueberry pancakes were also extensively dry and flavorless. The blueberries weren't mixed in, only thrown on top. The sandwiches and potatoes were flavorless. The sweet potato fries were good! That's about it, and definitely not with the wait
