There's so much historical significance. I recommend speaking to any regular local at this bar to get the history. Ask about the seat cushions at the bottom of the stairs;)

An awesome Irish bar with some excellent choices when it comes to Irish whiskey and other spirits. The Monday night bartender is a great guy and a gentleman.

Outdoor set up is wonderful! With all this craziness it is nice to have a place to feel comfortable (and safe) and enjoy a proper drink!

This place has the greatest return for your money. All pints are 20oz and only 5.50 each. Whenever I want to relax, have a laugh, and drink alot , that is where I go. Go during the day and ask for Dee. She's great!

Out of all the bars in the area, The Quays Pub has a certain vibe that can only be described as quaint and tranquil. There is something homely and calming about this place that makes you feel relaxed while you drink. The prices aren't bad and the staff make you feel like you have been a regular for years.

Loved this neighborhood bar. The bartender, the owner and the neighborhood people were all very welcoming. The feel of the space is cozy and yet spacious enough. They also have outdoor seating. Favorite local place for beers. They don't have a kitchen but you can order food and eat there. Love the bartenders and the selection of beers. Great atmosphere and we enjoy sitting outside when the weather permits.

I've been coming to the Quays for over 10 years, and it just keeps getting better. Every time you come, it's like a family get-together. The owner is amazing, staff is great, and the regulars, well, they just make the place. If you're in Astoria, definitely pop in. You're in for a great time!

One of my favorite Irish bars in Astoria. The owner Dee is no-nonsense, but the sweetest lady you'll ever meet. And all of the bartenders she hires are fantastic. There's no kitchen here, but feel free to bring your own food, or order in. The drinks are simple, no fancy cocktails or unnecessary upscale nonsense. Just classic beers and liquors, simple drinks, great times and great people. And still my favorite Guinness in the neighborhood. Probably in the whole dang city.

No other place like it! Best Irish pub experience in Astoria! Not many places left nowadays that is a pure drink and social place (no food, you can bring in your own). They have the best pour Guinness and the most cozy, friendly vibe. Great place to hang out and get to know the neighborhood friends. Nice typical Irish pub with decent amounts.of seating and a bar that is generally not crowded. In warmer weather, there is also.outdoors seating and I think makes this place that much more desirable. Food is just average, and seems not quite authentic for an Irish bar.. a little too fast foodish for me. Very divey bar, attracts an interesting crowd. They have small stage in the back for an open mic at night for people to perform. The music was very loud and the performers were hit or miss with their performances.

The owner refused to serve us because we started drinking WHILE she was checking our id’s. Why would we walk into a bar if we weren’t of age ???? After she realized we were all over 21 she still said no, we couldn’t drink there because we took a sip while she was still checking our id. And she questioned our id’s to begin with. So rude

This place looks so dirty outside the bar can only image what its looks like behind the bar. The staff are so scruffy looking as well. And you are taking your own live going down those stairs to those restrooms which are always dirty because no one cleans them. This place could do with a good do over.

The best thing we can do as patriotic Americans is to remember the businesses that disgraced our heritage as a people free from tyrannical government dictates and never support them again. If you do not look at China and think "that's how a government should be run" then you should not support these businesses. If you don't think the transfer of trillions of dollars from the middle class to the fortune 500 was a good thing then you should not support these businesses. If you don't think owners with low morale character and no backbone should be supported then you should not support THIS business.
