Recensioni di Pho 4 U Atascadero
One of my clients has good coments about this place so we decided to give it a try. We ordered 2 bowls of Pho and grilled pork roll. Their soup, Pho, is much authentic and better than the one at Lotus in San Luis Obispo. Highly recommended especially for a cold rainy day. Good food, good customer service!!!
Enjoyed the vegan pho. Vegan eggrolls are very good, love the vegan option on the fresh spring rolls. Have added a vegan vermicelli bowl. Basically a counter service setup now. You will need to ask for water refills etc. even though they do bring everything to your table.
Travling from out of town. Was really craving pho but wanted to eat it a our hotel room. We ordered take out. The Pho was packaged perfectly. Everything was in a perfect to-go bowl with the broth separate. Back at the hotel, all we had to do was add the broth and everything tasted like it had just come out of the kitchen. It even came with proper soup spoons and all the sauces. Pop corn chicken was really good. Bahn mi was legit. I could tell most of the people dining there were repeat local customers. I can see why. 5 star for sure... Might go back again tonight.
Had the beef pho and it was delicious! Also had a Thai tea and it was good, on the stronger side but still very good. My friends had the dumplings and a sandwich and finished it all. We were all super happy with our food!
Great little shop, really enjoy their Pho. The appetizers are good as well, their popcorn chicken is really tasty, not the store bought type. They are a little understaffed but since they have only been open a week and the labor the way it is now, understandable. Great addition to Atascadero! Welcome
I adore the pho served here! Absolutely delicious and huge portions. The service is great, the staff are all very helpful.
There are still some staffing details to iron out - we sat and waited for a solid 15 minutes before anyone paid us any attention but it was dinner time, the house was packed with both sit down and take out orders and there was only one guy running the dining room so not a big deal considering how new the place is and how DELICIOUS their food is! We got the Vietnamese spring rolls and the chicken pho and it was very good! You can tell the noodles are the silky fresh kind (not dry boxed)! The service was very friendly too (once we got it). I’ve spent the last 4 years living in the Bay Area where legit Asian food abounds and it’s so nice to finally have something that is on par with what you’d find up there - authentic, convenient, cheap and savory - here in Atascadero! P.S. We also found out that they drive up to San Jose weekly to get the high quality ingredients for their food so they don’t have to use the bland frozen stuff! They’re doing it right - hopefully enough people realize that so they can stay up and running :)
This place is a hidden gem. I got the vegan egg rolls and vegan pho. Husband loved the steak pho. It was all extremely good. If you order to go, they separate everything into its own container so that you can add however much you like of the bean sprouts, jalapeño, lime, mint leaves, spicy sauce and broth. The tofu was crispy and golden (perfection!). The egg rolls were amazing! Also, they have Thai tea and matcha that is super yummy. They give you the option to get your noodles half cooked (to eat later) or fully cooked. Take out was fast, about 15 min until ready. The employees were very friendly and helpful both over the phone and in person. 10/10 Recommend for Veg's and meat eaters alike!
Having never been to such a restaurant, I had no expectations. Everyone enjoyed the food and the drinks especially.. All four of us ate and it was a reasonable price.. I think we will go back
This place is exactly what North county needed! Simple menu but the food is great. Their combo specials are really good deals. Appetizer plus pho and drink for about $14 and it's a generous amount of food. Pho has a very flavorful broth and you just pick your protein. As usual there are veggies and sauces you can add to your personal taste and liking. Place was packed but the server was moving as quick as he could. Food was served very quickly. No complaints will visit again.
Went here today for the first time. We had good service. I had the steak and brisket Pho with Vietnamese egg roll and the wife have brisket and beef ball Pho with the fried dumplings. Everything was very good. So happy we have some legit Pho in north county.
I love this place! Before retirement, I spent forty years of my life in the food service industry as everything from a dishwasher to the founder of a regionally acclaimed high-volume restaurant. The staff here is gracious, attentive, and sincere. The food is consistent, reasonably priced and delicious. The facility is spotless. I brought two friends with me today, one of whom had never had Vietnamese cuisine, and he has already sent me two text messages telling me how much he enjoyed it. It's my go-to for lunch every time I'm passing through Atascadero.
You have to try it if you like Pho. If you’re new, just try the chicken or beef pho. It’s a great starter. And the boba tea is delicious.
Now that restaurants are opening up, I thought I'd give this Pho place a try. I've had several people recommend it, so I went to see for myself. I'm glad I did! Wow, was that good. We had big, steaming bowls of noodles with a side of garnishes. Also, the pork appetizer was so great. Prices were affordable. I don't think they serve beer or wine.
So glad to have a new restaurant in Atascadero, especially one that stays open a little later. I really appreciate the simple menu. Half a dozen appetizers, half a dozen different Pho choices, and a few drink options. Both appetizers we had were excellent. The broth on the Pho was perfect. Not to salty and nicely flavored. This place will become part of my regular rotation. It's small so hopefully the secret doesn't get out too far or you'll never get a table.
My new favorite place! I had the combination Pho with the house made meatballs. What a great job! The pho was clear and full of flavor. Best part, they use no msg! The spring rolls were good, if they were to add noodles and a touch of basil they would be amazing, I really enjoyed the crispy wrapper inside. If you live in Atascadero or just visiting, definitely try this place out!
This is a wonderful addition to the community. The menu isn't large but there is enough variety. (hoping for fresh spring rolls to be added) This is a new restaurant and are seeking to hire more staff which will help speed up the process of getting the food out. Although I did not feel lime the wait was terribly long. The amount of meat in the pho was great. Once word gets out they will be busy and hopefully they can keep up with it!
Absolutely love this place. The vegan pho is my favorite all around. Crispy dumplings and eggrolls fill my heart with so much joy. Torn in two over the Strawberry matcha milk tea or the Vietnamese iced coffee. A gem in Atascadero that I'm stoked we have
I loved everything me and my family ordered! It was a few weeks ago, and we were just passing through this area while on vacation. From what I remember, we all ordered the beef pho with toppings, the spring roll, and the wontons/dumplings. Everything was absolutely delicious! We also ordered thai tea and matcha, both of which were the standard we would expect from any Asian restaurant; in other words, the drinks were also great! The service was also phenomenal with our order getting taken quickly. The wait time for the pho was a bit long, maybe 10-20 mins, but the appetizers like the spring roll were a shorter wait. Either way, the pho was 100% worth the wait and the cook(s) seemed like they were hard at work. Overall, I would definitely come back and eat these delicious meals if I’m ever in the area!!
I absolutely love this place. Been going here a few years now and just wanted to share this photo of my favorite sandwich in town… Oder a BANH ME and eat it on a bench in sunken gardens ….. your day will get better immediately 🧡🫡🩶
Stopped on our way up to the Bay Area from SB. Ordered the steak & brisket pho and it did not disappoint. Broth had well layered flavors. It was also savory without being too salty. The spices were aromatic and the noodles and beef were quality. Server was nice and attentive, we ate outside for a casual lunch. Support local Asian businesses.
YUM 😋 YUM ……Just picked up Vermicelli Salad and cut it all up (HUGE portion!!!), and drizzled dressing over and gonna savor my FAVORITE dish from this GEM of an eatery in Atascadero….simply delicious!!!🍲🍲🍲🍲🍲FIVE BOWLS of Pho for PHO 4 U delicious dining gem in the heart of California wine country’s quant Atascadero. While I enjoy a hearty bowl of pho, my absolute favorite dish is their scrumptious beef vermicelli salad. Congratulations to owners Tran and Mai for satisfying Northern San Luis Obispo county’s tastebuds! My surgical recovery was so much more tolerable because I feasted on your yummy food! And, thank you 🙏 again, Tran, for helping carry my takeout orders to my car during that challenging post operative time. Your concern for your customers glows ☀️brightly. If you’ve never tried savory Vietnamese noodle soups or salad, you are sadly missing out! ✨Once you try it you’ll be hooked 😊-Kate
Vermicelli is one of my favorite dishes and theirs is delicious. I also tried the fried tofu which ended up being amazing. I don't like tofu much, but if you're going to eat it, this is the way. It's nice to have a Vietnamese restaurant in town. Highly recommend, 10/10
Food is delicious especially the vermicelli noodle bowl, pho and Bahn mi. Oh and the wings! And yummy matcha drinks! Okay it's all good. A little bit on the pricier side but that's OK because it's hard to find good Vietnamese food in town. Seating is limited inside as well as it's a smaller restaurant. Customer service is always great here too! Feels like a nice little family run shop.
Loved their PHO options. I always get shrimp pho, I've tried both the chicken broth and the beef broth, beef being my favorite. The egg rolls are delicious as well!
Nice little find. The food was delicious. Not a giant menu, but covers the basics really well.

This place's chicken pho is one of my favorite dishes in San Luis Obispo County. I have a weekly volunteer thing and almost every week I go to this restaurant afterwards. I get chicken pho and a cup of black tea and I sit in the same spot and write in my diary and it is genuinely one the highlights of my week every time I go. I hadn't actually been able to go for about ten months due to life circumstances and I got to go back today and I had such a wonderful time. The pho is so wonderfully savory and has great textures. The staff are friendly and get food out super quickly. Food is one of the great joys in life and this restaurant has brought me immense happiness. Maybe that's a bit dramatic but I love routine and I love good food.
We don't have a lot of places around town to eat something that isn't American or Mexican. Its true that I wish this place was a little more than it is and it had tripe and tendon, maybe some raw onion slices, cilantro... but I get that they are in Atascadero and the market for a little more is probably small. That said, I even love the vegan pho and the Thai and jasmine tea beverages are both fantastic. Not big city Pho, but great for our small town.
If you are thinking about it, stop thinking and go already. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and if you have questions, they are happy to answer. I have been coming here for around 3 years, typically getting the combo pho and shrimp spring rolls. They will bring out basil, bean sprouts, limes, and jalapeños, allowing you to customize the soup to your liking. The broth is salty with a slight sweetness, featuring thinly cut meat and plenty of noodles, all of which consistently taste high-quality. The shrimp spring rolls have a great fresh crunch, with the addition of the peanut sauce tying it all together. I recommend sitting outside for the fresh air, as the inside can get a bit hot at times, which makes sense for most people eating a hot soup in a smaller space. If you want to try something new, you have come to the right place, expect a good time.
Great little pho place tucked away in Atown. I got the beef pho and it came with all the usual sides I've grown acustomed to. Would definitely go back and try something new!

Went there for the first time. I gave this a 4 star for the food. The choices were ok, but the PHO is ala' cart. That is most likely due to the fact that the place is very small. The spring rolls were very fresh and the dipping sauce tasty. I gave the service a 2 star and that is primarily because there was only one person working, which made perfect sense due to the size of the place, but the service person was sick. It was obvious that the person was sick by the caughing and even admitted being sick. So what on earth would a restauranat want a sick person there working? I was surprised. The atmosphere is fine for a noodle place. Would I go back, on the fence....
Pho broth was subtle and flavorful. I ordered the combination. The meatballs were very good. Pork spring rolls were ok but seemed to be lacking something. Perhaps you try them and let me know. Overalll I was craving Pho and this establishment satisfied that well. This is my second visit and I will return.
Stopped by for some pho on a road trip to northern cali from OC. It’s not the best pho that I’ve tasted but for the area, I think it was decent. The broth was a little bland so I had to put a lot of hoisin and sriracha but it hit the spot. The restroom can use a little cleaning tho.
Came here for a quick lunch. I've been wanting to try it out for a while. Was referred by a client. I only got the pho combo, which was not bad but not great. Nice place for a quick dine in. Will be going to try more again soon.
Had a good vegan pho, and vegan egg rolls. Pho was interesting, having cauliflower and broccoli. Good broth. The eggrolls were bland, but highly recommend sticking to the pho.

Super slow service and the phø was just ok. Lots of grease on top and little flavor in the broth. I have had really good Pho in Portland and Grants Pass and this definitely does not stand up. I would give it another chance after a bit to see if the kinks are ironed out.
Average food in a mediocre place. Don't get the $8 fresh spring rolls. 2 rolls with large leaves of lettuce, and one strip of tofu with a bit of peanut sauce on the side. The vegan pho was also overpriced for what it was. Service is fast.
This is today's experience vs the year the opened. I think they're a bit better than my 1st time visit. The portions are a bit better even though there's a big price mark up on the menu. 1st time: 2018 • The Pho was very bland • Very small portions • Service was good BTW • not worth returning to 2nd time: 2023 • The pho had a little more flavor • Nice and hot • broth was good • decent portions of noodles and meat • needs to add more cilantro and onions • more sauce tray sauce choices Bahn mi was good Egg rolls tasted just like how my mom makes them. This is coming from an Asian guy coming from socal, this place gets a 3 out of 5.
The pho broth was not the best I've had. Didn't seem to have a lot of flavor and was bland. I asked for chili oil, but there was only 1 waitress. She was busy and forgot about my chili oil, but wasn't her fault. Just kinda confused why they didn't have chili oil already out for customers. I got the combination pho and the meatballs were actually pretty good. The spring rolls were good as well.
I went a little before closing time, so I am hoping that maybe I got the bottom of the barrel. I was disappointed that their beef combo pho was only beef balls and steak. No tripe, tendons, or other parts we love! The broth flavor was very good, but the execution was clearly lacking for such high prices. Overall it was a clean place, but not the best that I have had...

Vegan pho was filling. The broth wasn’t as rich as other places I’ve been. The vegan egg rolls were way over fried and almost inedible. We ate them because we hate to waste food, but should have sent them back.

I actually quite like this place until i’m pretty sure I got food poisoning from here. I got the steak and brisket pho and that was the only thing i ate that’s different from my friend that day. She had chicken broth and was fine. I thought the water they gave me also tasted really gross, tasted like unfiltered extremely hard water. I had thrown up all day after eating here, any time i ate anything i throw up and i also got a fever. I hope this place can seriously inspect their food safety.
Pho broth was OK, not good enough to return for. Missing most pho condiments. Ordered chicken wings, but got drumsticks. The pork spring roll was good, but overpriced. Not recommended if you want authentic Viet food.

Pretty bad bowl of pho. Thickly sliced beef. Weak broth. Unimpressed
Terrible service won’t be coming back. I ordered veggie spring rolls took a bite only to realize it had pork in it. I am vegetarian and threw up in their bathroom from eating meat. Least to say I didn’t finishing eating them when It was time to check out I asked our server if they could take them off our tab since they weren’t eaten and he was very rude about it and said he couldn’t take it off. Wouldn’t recommend coming here.
They would not let me add broth for a charge. When I got the meals the protein was only three small over cooked pieces of meat. For $17. No bathrooms even for guests. Loud Asian pop music. I’m not sure how this place stays in business, bad experience.
Worst pho I’ve ever had. My daughter loves pho, and I’ve never seen her not finish a bowl of pho before and then finish mine. I didn’t finish mine either, which is very rare for me and it wasn’t because I was full was because it was so bad.
