Recensioni di Bagels Auburn
I've always just had breakfast here and always enjoyed it. Stopped in for lunch the other day and was really delighted at how delicious their delicatessen was decidedly done. I was surprisingly satisfied with my savory submarine sandwich. Definitely would recommend.
Absolutely love this place! Plenty of room for groups and they have a good selection of bagel and non bagel sandwiches, pretty much anything you're in the mood for! Their fresh fruit side is actually fresh and has a really good selection which I really appreciate. Also, their staff is top notch, everyone I've met there has a great sense of humor and are very nice.
I had omelette, regular coffee, and plain bagel as breakfast. Their food is good, has plenty of space to sit inside in the morning, and not so expensive. Totally recommended and looking forward to go there again.
First ever stop in Auburn, and this was one of the few places open when we arrived. Got the cinnamon bagel with the cinnamon raisin walnut cream cheese. quite simply, one of the best bagels I've ever tasted. Period. Super fresh. Soft inside, crispy outside. Cream cheese was sublime. My wife got an Everything bagel with a different cream cheese and said same. Was quite simply one of the best bagel experiences we've ever had. You must stop in here when you are in downtown Auburn.
I came through here with my dad when we we were going through Auburn to go to new Orleans. This place is a nice little place to go to of you want breakfast. Their omelettes are pretty good and I really like the blueberry bagel I got with it.
If anyone asks me for a good breakfast recommendation in Auburn, Big Blue Bagel is the first place I suggest. It's unique and very good with many different options and styles available to make your order about as customized as possible. And that isn't even mentioning the very relaxing environment good for studying or meeting with others
An Auburn staple! I love coming here for breakfast. Definitely get there early because the line can get long. My favorite bagel is the Cajun turkey with tomato. I order it to-go every time I'm in town.
The place was really good. Love the cajun turkey with the war eagle omelette. The bagels were just perfect with right amount of cream cheese.
Blue Bagel is simply delicious. They have a variety of items from bagels to sub/bagel sandwiches to salads. Blue Bagel is a great option for lunch with the Tiger Melt selected as one of the best items in Alabama. The general atmosphere of the restaurant is poor and kind of off putting. For example, the chairs are in dire need of replacement with the cushioning simply missing from some of them (please update these!). I gave the place 5 stars because of the food, the friendless of the staff, and the fact that it's one of the few local restaurants that give the chain restaurants a run for their money. If you're looking for a quick bite definitely try Blue Bagel. Give the tiger melt and/or chicken salad a try. Make sure to get some bagel chips and cream cheese as a side!
I came to town for a class and one of the students referred me to the big blue bagel. I must say the atmosphere was great, customer service was awesome, and the food was delicious. When I stop in the next time this place will definitely be on my list to dine in again.
Great food and atmosphere. The Big Blue wrap is my go to meal, and the wrap is HUGE. Bagel chips made fresh. This place is worth a stop on your Auburn tour.
Cute & quick stop. Decent prices
A "must have" while in Auburn! I could live off their wonderful bagel chips!! Great staff! Chill atmosphere Awesome food and great flavor of Auburn sports!!!
I recently visited Big Blue Bagel & Deli and had a fantastic experience. I ordered the Tiger Melt (half), which was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The combination of ingredients melted together beautifully, making each bite deliciously satisfying. For my side, I chose bagel chips with strawberry cream cheese, and it was the perfect complement to my meal. The bagel chips were crispy and paired wonderfully with the sweet and tangy strawberry cream cheese, creating a delightful contrast in flavors. The atmosphere was cozy. If you're looking for a great bagel spot in town, I highly recommend Big Blue Bagel & Deli! I’ll definitely be coming back to try more items from their menu.
Absolutely packed, I would go early if I went back. The line was consistently the length of the restaurant, almost to the door. People cycle through fast though so seating isn’t really an issue. Good reason for the long line. Bagels are a great consistently and flavor. Good sides and cheap coffee too. A great college breakfast spot downtown.
Huge bagel fan and Big Blue Bagel did not disappoint. The bagel chips were the most memorable and incredible chips I’ve ever had. 🥯 Well executed deli meals, prepared fresh and serving the local Auburn community well! The decor was interesting, unique; featuring photos, memorabilia and signatures of past visitors and members of the local community. Apparently the Tiger Melt (& bagel chips) are a must-try!
An Auburn staple. Great homemade bagels. Super chill environment. Good coffee. I like the fruit bagel but they have other options too. Conveniently located in downtown Auburn but still very casual/low key vibe.
Cool place to go eat by Toomer’s corner in downtown Auburn. Pictured is nova bagel and tiger melt bagel. Lots of flavor and great brunch food. Probably the best place to get bagels in Auburn. Staff is nice and service is fast. Definitely recommend giving this place a try if you are in the area.
One of the best sandwich places in Auburn, for both breakfast and lunch. The club sandwich makes me start floating every time I eat it.
5 Stars - A Breakfast Haven at Big Blue Bagel War Eagle 🦅 🥯 If you’re looking for a breakfast experience that’s as delightful as it is unique, Big Blue Bagel is your go-to spot! As soon as you walk in, the cozy and inviting atmosphere sets the tone for a fantastic meal. 🌟 The star of the show here is undoubtedly the bagels. Fresh, fluffy, and perfectly chewy, each bagel is a testament to the art of bagel-making. But here’s a pro tip: elevate any sandwich by opting for a blueberry bagel. It adds a delightful twist that’s both surprising and satisfying. 🥪 The sandwich selection is impressive, and every choice is a winner. Whether you’re craving a classic like the Lox Deluxe or something more adventurous, there’s something for everyone. The ingredients are always fresh, and the flavors are well-balanced, ensuring every bite is a treat. ☕ Complement your meal with a cup of their rich, aromatic coffee, and you’re set for a perfect start to your day. 👍 Friendly staff, quick service, and an overall fantastic dining experience – Big Blue Bagel is a must-visit for bagel lovers and breakfast enthusiasts alike. Don’t miss out on this gem!
Big Blue Bagel is everything you hope and wish for in a deli. Their breakfast is cult worthy, and the lunch is outstanding as well. Bro are we just talking about sandwiches? Man we absolutely are. Lovely vibe, locally owned, and they hire a great group of people to represent them. A staple for the taste of Auburn. 🤌

Best bagel shop in all of the country. Best in state. Best all around. Can’t wait to go back. I wish I could eat here every day. My favorite was the nova. Priced right for the amount of stuff it comes with in the meal.
Such yummy bagels. An Auburn classic. They have a wide variety for gluten free people too (get the fruit plate!) and so many good bagel and spread options.
This is one of my favorite places to eat in Auburn, and I go here at least once every week for good reason. The staff is super friendly, the atmosphere is great, and the food is, of course, fantastic! There are lots of combinations of bagels and cream cheese (reasonably priced!), as well as many sandwiches and sides. The restaurant is always packed on weekends, especially game days, but if waiting in line for a delicious meal isn't your thing, you can always go on weekday mornings, when the wait is five minutes at most. I'd definitely recommend Big Blue Bagel to anyone living in or just stopping through Auburn.
Love this place!! The wait was a bit long, but we went after church let out. They did an amazing job facilitating the orders and making it go by quick!
We had lunch there and got sandwiches. The bread was amazing… tasted like homemade bread. Warm, toasty, delicious. Great service and atmosphere! Love it and we would definitely return when we come back to Auburn.

Not a must stop, but one of my favorite Auburn eats. If you are a bagel lover, you will be in heaven. Tons of bagels and cream cheese options to choose from and great breakfast/lunch bagel sandwich options. Bagel chips with lunch orders. There’s also non-bagel items for order for breakfast or lunch. The old school dining room that looks untouched since it was an old pharmacy is cool but can feel dirty, that’s about my only complaint.
I have been here 2 times till now and both times my experience was good. The bagel variety made me feel good, the price is descent and taste I liked as compared to bagels I have tried till now. Overall a nice place, nice people and good service.
Friendly staff and good food! Line can get a little long but call in orders are avaliable. I would love to see them turn off the voicemail feature though because if they don't answer the phone on the first few rings it goes to their catering inbox.
Got a bagel with Cajun turkey, pepper jack cheese and egg. It was steaming hot.
This was a nice diner located right outside the campus of Auburn University. Obviously, the name says it all. They specialize in bagels, but the fruit was phenomenal. My wife and daughter both ordered the bagels with chicken salad in the side of fruit. The fruit was very fresh. I ordered half a sub, and I got a side of chips, and it was good. If i went back, I'd get a full sub instead of a half as the portions are that big.
I ate Nova sandwich with cinnamon sugar bagel and it was delicious! Also try garlic bread with strawberry cream cheese

The food here is good but the transition from breakfast to lunch menu needs fixing. I showed up at 10:45am to get breakfast. Waited in line for 20 minutes to order and was told at 11:05am that I couldn’t order breakfast. I will not be waiting in line at Big Blue again. Not saying I’ll never eat there, but no more waiting in line.
It's difficult to actually rate this place based on an experience of waiting in line about 40 minutes to put an order in for a bagel. We gave up after basically running out of standing room and the line stopped moving. Smelled good, though.
As much as I love the bagels here, it's absolutely insane that I can come in and order a bacon egg and cheese bagel and have to wait well over 30 minutes for it.
This place is a great location. The line can get long. Also the service was poor they argued with us over a mug vs a plastic cup for coffee. They rushed us to order as if we were there again. I feel like given it is a line cafe they would do better by blowing up the menu and hanging on the wall. They do have a screen but it shifted and I ordered the wrong thing as a result of felling pressure of the line and person behind the counter. Bagels were great. 😊
Atmosphere is best part of this place. Clearly a local spot. Auburn memorabilia, local event advertisements, guys reading newspapers, student study groups, etc. Food only average. Bagels are fine for non NY but on the small side. Eggs lacked any flavor. A little salt and pepper at least would be good. The table numbers are so small and poorly designed they blend in and cause confusion. Tiny changes would make this place stellar.

Used to love this place! Now, not so much. I waited 25 mins for a simple bagel to-go order when people behind me were getting their orders left and right. Finally was asked for my name since I had been standing there for a while. I was told they had called my name a few times and that they knew I “must have been in the bathroom.” I told them that I had been standing attentive in that spot the entire time, and in response I was told that “you were definitely in the bathroom.” This is compared to them yelling other’s names (all of which I noticed, as people who placed orders behind me in line were getting their food) and going right up to people giving asking if it was their food. Good bagels, but not worth being argued with by the runners.
Very very very good bagels but for some reason they stop serving them at 11am and switch over to sandwiches. The sandwiches are just not it.
The food here is alright if you're looking for something small and quick. There's usually a line to order if you go in for breakfast while school is in session. The past couple times I've been in there hasn't been a clean table top to sit at because no one was bussing the dirty tables.
It was my first time visiting on my work lunch/brunch break and I spent a good minute standing around looking for the place to order. The “order here” sign was hard to locate. You order deep into the building. I thought they the staff was okay. I was welcomed and pointed to the menus when I had trouble locating them. My bagel was not toasted—the person taking my order did not ask me if I wanted it toasted or not either— that’s important if the standard is not toasted. It’s definitely a sit down place because you cannot eat that bagel with one hand on the go or an order to go sit down somewhere else. My bacon egg and cheese was cut in half and my bacon fell on the floor. I don’t like my bagels cut in half personally. i would have liked to be asked that but it’s low on the priority list really. My fruit leaked on my bagel. You have to get your own drinks, which I get to an extent because they do serve coffee, but I asked for sweet tea, was pointed to the drink corner and the tea wasn’t even sweet. It was next to the unsweetened, so maybe a worker poured unsweet tea in there or they genuinely make terrible sweet tea that puts the south to shame. I double checked I was about to pour sweet tea and it was just nasty. I also don’t like the location of the drinks. It’s too “in to the kitchen”. Like there were racks that blocked off the rest of the kitchen. Some customers came in after me to place orders and the lids are not next to the drinks so other customers were in my way and I was in theirs. I paid $16 for this subpar meal and experience. The workers were fine, but they weren’t really helpful to a first time customer. I will be spending my money elsewhere where.

To be a BAGEL RESTAURANT and to "stop serving breakfast" at any point in time is the most nonsensical baffling decision I've ever heard. YOU'RE A BAGEL RESTAURANT
Bagels are non-authentic and overpriced. They’re just bread circles. Staffed looked at me like I had four heads when I asked for a bec.
Eat at your own risk. I love the food here, but unfortunately Big Blue Bagels doesn't seem to care much for the safety of their community. There were staff without masks making food. Other employees were not wearing masks correctly. There was also no enforcement of masks in line. I'll only be returning if these policies are enforced.
I have given this place so many chances but I am disappointed every time. Every time I’ve come here I get a bagel sandwich and ask for cream cheese - I never get it. Today I ordered a bagel sandwich & 3 times I asked for cream cheese because I didn’t want it to be forgotten again. I did not receive cream cheese as usual. I politely went up to the girl who took my order and let her know. She then proceeded to search through all the orders to find mine (which is whatever I know she’s just doing her job). When she pulls up my order there’s no cream cheese listed so she tells me i have to pay an additional $2.50 for it. I am not mad I had to pay extra for cream cheese, I’m irritated that somehow they always forget to add it, and at the end of this I spent $20 on a meal that should’ve cost $12. The staff is not friendly here ever and the food is overpriced for what it is.

First time ever visiting this place. I asked for an everything bagel to-go and was given a bagel with salt on it. I can't even eat it, wasted my money and time in line. The girl with blonde hair can't even take orders properly, I had to repeat myself several times for her to take my order.
I have tried this place for the second time in a few years hoping the food quality would be different, but I have given up. The bagels have no taste at all, and do not seem like good quality. Thomas bagels from the grocery store are better than these. Even with cream cheese, bacon, and egg added to two different bagels it still tasted like nothing! I will not be returning.

I’ve been trying to place a catering order with Big Blue Bagels for three days, and I’m no closer to getting the information I need than when I started. I first submitted a catering form through their website and didn’t hear back for a full day. I followed up by emailing the email address listed on their site, asking specific questions about their catering options, whether pickup was available (as I have never done business with them before), and an important allergy concern. I did receive a same-day reply, but it only said: “Would you like breakfast sandwiches or fruit and bagels, and cream cheese?”, which did not address any of my questions. I responded that I could not move forward without information about the allergy, but never received a follow-up. Later, I received a reply to the original website form submission that stated only: “We can do anything on the menu. Just let us know if you have any questions. Thanks.” Again, this provided no meaningful details. At that point, I submitted a final detailed explanation of the difficulties I’d experienced, but after three days of trying, I still have no clear answers. I’ve decided to take my business elsewhere. I have lived in Auburn for three years and had never even heard of Big Blue Bagels until now. I thought it might be a great new option for our office breakfast, but I will gladly choose a business that is responsive and eager to work with customers. After explaining my experience to friends, several of them mentioned that this lack of responsiveness is exactly the reputation this business already has, something I wish I had known before spending days trying to place an order.
