Love the coffee and appreciate the staff!!! They are kind and work well under pressure. Very clean welcoming vibe! In between our downtown Austin cleaning services we love taking a pit stop break here.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this spot earned it. The robusta coffee is on another level. Strong, smooth, clean energy without the bitterness. You can actually taste the quality. It hits different from the usual watered-down cups around town. The matcha lattes are dialed in too. Balanced, not overly sweet, just done right. Great vibe inside, modern and relaxed. If you care about quality and not just caffeine, this is it.

Staff go out of their way to welcome you no matter how busy it is. Finally a place that can make a strong cup of coffee. I paired it with the best tasting waffle I’ve had in a long time!

They opened a week ago. I saw it walking by on 6th Street that there were various Matcha drinks which I love! I got the strawberry matcha! It was delicious. I met the owners briefly, a nice couple, they apologized for the wait. Which is expected for a place that just opened. It's dog friendly and a nice cozy establishment. If I lived in Austin I would be a regular for sure!

Black sheep has been worth the wait 🤩 I’ve been three times in one week. The spanish latte is delicious and they have the best matcha on the block. The waffles, the mini donut, the breakfast sandwiches, it can’t get better than that! Staff is always super friendly & accommodating. It’s a small cafe but there’s still tables if you’re looking to escape your office for an hour or two.

Black Sheep Coffee downtown is my current hyper fixation. Paige made me a strawberry & cream matcha latte with cold foam and I’m not exaggerating when I say it was one of the best drinks I’ve had in a while. Perfectly balanced, not too sweet, super smooth. I went back the next day… and I’m actively fighting the urge to go again today.

Kudos to this amazing team and how well they managed their long awaited grand opening. My friends and I were met with the utmost lively and speedy service. Our drinks were phenomenal, and I now have a fantastic go to coffee spot along my commute to work. Definitely will be stepping in on a regular basis, I recommend the vanilla matcha!

Awesome coffee shop location. It’s a great place to hangout by yourself, with a group of people, and to even bring your kids. To point out, they have an incredible menu for coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Most importantly, they have the best customer service that I have ever experienced.

So happy to have Black Sheep in Austin! A great location, good food, excellent coffee, such a great vibe! Highly recommend! The Nutella Waffles were warm and delicious! Love their lattes We will back!

The coffee tastes amazing, food is good too. Service was super friendly and accommodating. If you're a coffee snob this place is a must try!

Came by today evening before they closed and Paige was the sweetest barista. She made the perfect strawberry and creme matcha and gave us suggestions on what to order next time. Will definitely be back!

Coffee is good. Pastries are not better than you would get in grocery store. They have screens to place an orders. I’m kind of enemy of modern things because it gives McDonald’s vibe not a cool coffee shop, but I understand that it’s probably more efficient this way. So as place to grab a coffee- yes. Place where I would go regularly and spend time inside and buy pastries - not so much.

Saw that they had opened their location. It was quite busy. You walk in and it's kiosk ordering (there are 4 kiosks). Pretty easy system. Because of the windows and the sun it gets really hot in there so if you plan on meeting there for friends it could get toasty. I got a blueberry matcha. If you like NyQuil this is the drink for you (I wish I was kidding). I thought I was drinking matcha with cough syrup. The matcha was on the sweeter side and it was okay. My friend got a strawberry matcha and the really liked their drink.

Ordered strawberries and cream matcha 3/10 it tasted like a cup of oat milk! No matcha no strawberry flavor. I do not get the hype here Would try a coffee drink next time if I’m up to possibly get disappointed by another $8 drink :/

Can’t recommend Clean and new sitting space, varied menu with touchscreens for ordering (note the service fee). Drink was overly sweet, buried the expected flavor (in this case, Matcha), could only taste the over-stated heavily sweetened liquid. Pleasant staff, but the beverage was terrible.

I would not even recommend the coffee here to my worst enemy. It was a great experience because we made new friends outside after bonding over how bad our coffee was. We all threw it away together. I am really disappointed especially after waiting 30 minutes. Don't believe the Austin influencers, this place is NOT it.
