Wow, absolutely great food! We tried the quesadillas and burritos. Everything was super fresh and had a great, authentic flavor. Wonderful owners! We will definitely be back!

I ran into El Cactus in Rahway by accident, but let me tell you I found a gem. This is my now favorite local Mexican spot! The food is always so authentic, fresh and delicious and the staff is always so kind and attentive and service is fast.

We went and we will definitely go again! The food was great and the price was reasonable! This is like a hidden gem. Tell your friends! Would definitely recommend to support local business!

Tried them for the first time tonight, the tacos were delicious! The chicken was seasoned so well! And the green salsa was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend you try this place!! Very authentic Mexican food !

My wife and I had several different tacos and a torta. Everything was delicious and the salsas are very tasty. The horchata was also very good. Would recommend swinging by!

This is my first time ar this restaurant. It's nothing fancy, but if you're looking for delicious and authentic Mexican food, I recommend you give it a try. Not only was the food yummy (I ordered chicken quesadilla), the drink was very tasty ( I got tamarindo) and dessert was great (I had the cheesecake while my friends opted for the flan), but we were served by the sweetest and friendliest staff named Guadalupe. She's very patient with us and kept smiling. I would come back anytime. They do deliver but you have to call ahead to know they have staff to deliver that day. Our experience was very pleasant!

Awesome piece of Mexican flare right here in Rahway. Everything was fresh & tasted amazing. Large portions for the price & we have leftovers too! I'd definitely recommend going soon! Purchased food for 5 adults & appetizers !

Recommending this place, because not only is the food delicious but the service was superb. The shrimp tacos, tamales, sopes, steak, and the birria tacos everything was delicious. Keep them in mind for events too ! Had my bridal brunch amazing time and service ! Try them out, you won’t regret it ! The whole staff is super friendly

I’ve been looking for a Mexican restaurant for a while with none of the local options meeting my expectations. El cactus is my new go to! Their food is fresh and homemade, AND very reasonably priced. If you’re looking for homemade authentic Mexican food, this is the place!

Got takeout here tonight and the food did not disappoint. We had the steak fajita, beef burrito and chicken mole. Flavors were authentic and spot on. Beans and rice were perfect. They gave us a good amount of hot sauce too which we love. Def coming back!

Ordered burittio and empanada's portion was large could not finish it all ,and it tasted great. Will go again and try other dishes .

Tried it for the first time yesterday. We got the three street taco plater. Selected chicken, beef, and pork. Chicken had the most flavor, then the Pastor, which I would recommend both. However, the pork "carnitas" was not my cup of tea. Too much fat and gristle, I had to toss it. We also had ordered a burrito, but the order was delayed because it was initially missed, and I think it is the way the online order recorded it. We will give them another shot with other dishes... will keep you posted when we do.

We ordered tamales, tacos and the pizza and all 3 were honestly v disappointing. The tamales had large bone chunks in it which made it hard to wanna eat and the tacos & pizza both had no flavor and couldn’t stay together. When we got our food the cashier told us to have a decent day which was kinda funny it’s like he knew the food would be mid especially for the prices they charge

Apart from the steak actually being cold the moment they brought the dish out, the meat was notably rotten, they tried to mask the fact that the meat had gone bad with seasoning. The taste of rotten meat was very apparent and you could actually smell the rotten from a foot away. We left the whole thing. Horrible experience, never ever ever again!
