Primera vez en L’Esculapi y seguro que no será la última. En plena localización privilegiada, junto a la iglesia de un pueblo que invita a perderse por sus calles, se encuentra este restaurante encantador. Siguiendo la recomendación del camarero comenzamos con un surtido de fritos, variado y delicioso, y continuamos con una Paella del Señorito en su punto perfecto de cocción y con un sabor excepcional, absolutamente recomendable. De postre nos dejamos llevar por la tentación de la tarta de queso, casera y muy cremosa, que superó todas las expectativas. Como punto menos favorable, en la planta superior el eco provocado por el techo de madera hacía difícil mantener una conversación e incluso entender al camarero. Aun así, es un lugar que recomiendo con los ojos cerrados, aunque en futuras visitas optaremos por comer en la terraza para disfrutarlo con mayor tranquilidad.

Sitii Bonito y elegante, óptimo servicio y los platos son increibles, todo fresco y cocinado muy bien, el meloso es brutal, el rape es grande y también muy bueno, los postren son caseros, hemos probado la tarta de chocolate y la cheescake, ambos muy buenos y nada empalagosos. Hay un parking de pago ahí fuera y no es muy caro, también a 2 minutos caminando se encuentra una playa ahí abajo, lo recomiendo mucho seguramente volveré!

Estuvimos comiendo alli todo lo que pedimos estaba muy bueno y fresco. los camareros muy atentos y amables. Sitio para repetir y para aconsejar que la gente vaya y descubra la gran variedad de platos buenos. 🥇🏅🏅🏆

Soy cliente habitual de L’Esculapi desde hace tiempo, y siempre que paso por Sant Martí d’Empúries, repito sin pensarlo. La carta es amplia, bien cuidada y con platos que nunca decepcionan. En esta última visita disfruté de mi favorito, el brioche —tierno, sabroso, con ese punto justo que lo hace único—, una ensalada de langostinos fresca y muy bien presentada, y una pizza que, como siempre, destaca por su masa fina y crujiente, además de ingredientes de calidad. He probado ya gran parte de la carta y la constancia en la calidad y el servicio es algo que valoro muchísimo. El entorno, el trato del equipo y el equilibrio entre tradición mediterránea y cocina bien ejecutada hacen que L’Esculapi no sea solo una opción más, sino un sitio al que uno vuelve con gusto. Muy recomendable.

El lugar está de 10, hemos pedido un fideua el cual se puede recomendar al 10000%, tanto el tamaño como el sabor son perfectos ideal para 2 personas. El ambiente es muy bueno así como el servicio de todo el personal. Al final vimos que todos los postres de la carta se veían muy bien y nos decidimos por una crepa de nutella y una bola de helado de pistacho, 2 cafés y listo comida perfecta! Gracias, seguro volveremos!

Una de las mejores pizzerías de toda Costa Brava. Siempre tiene alta calidad, velocidad de cocina, buen comunicación. El lugar es también maravilloso, opuesto de vieja iglesia, entre de bonito pueblo de piedras, con vistas a L’Escala, Rosas. Los precios son bastante bajos para lugar turístico con este calidad. Es un regalo para todos quien valora comida rica en un entorno maravilloso

Acogedor restaurante en Sant Martí d’Empuries. Sitio ideal para comer un arroz en la terraza los días de primavera-verano. De los entrantes que escogimos, recomendamos la tempura de la langostinos. De paellas escogimos la marinera y fue todo un acierto. Sin duda, repetiríamos si volviéramos.

Nos atenció Emiliano, fue muy atento y agradable, muy buen servicio, súper rapido. La comida nos encantó. Todo genial.

Restaurant in a very beautiful historical place. A bit touristy, but you really feel like you're in Spain. I had a delicious paella with seafood. And finished with a good coffee and dessert. I recommend visiting.

Went for the proper lunch. Excellent restaurant top on small hill near by the beach. We ate mussels as a starters and mixed paella for a main. Definately need to go back to taste scorpion fish. + dogs allowed atleast at the terrace!👍🏻

We explored the Spanish cuisine by sampling all the sharing dishes on the menu, and friends, that's marvellous. I have to go back to this place, the service was perfect, the manners were top notch, the dishes were delicious. I highly recommend the squid strips with black aioli.

Excellent - we were there twice, at the first visit we've decided that this is our restaurant for the last day of our holidays. Nice and creative tapas, good main-dishes. The first time I had a very good Pasta "Spaghetti Marinera", the 2nd time an excellent Fish-Zarzuela. Friendy staff and a nice atmosphere. Reservation highly recommended.

If you ask me recommendations for best eating “addas” in Costa Brava, I am definitely going to pick restaurant L’Esculapi at plaza Mayor, L’Escala near Figueres. Hot, veggie, gluten free, thin crust pizza with wine and sparrows (!) for company are guaranteed. One of the few restaurants in Girona which serve grilled Calçot with Romesco sauce. And did I mention the digestive liqueur ratafia which is also served here once you finish your meal? You can walk around the plaza, look at the nearby ancient cathedral and the Greek ruins on your way back. The bay alongside offers good waves and air to sea surfers 🏄‍♀️ so expect to watch adrenaline rush in adventure seekers during warmer seasons.

La comida está de 10, el servicio súper amable, servicial y atento. La única pega que podemos tener es que pedimos las hamburguesas con cebolla fresca y no caramelizada pero no fue así, pero sin mas. Es un restaurante limpio, con comida de buena calidad y un personal muy agradable. Repetiremos.

Recomendable restaurante en Sant Martí d'Empúries. Tienes que reservar para no quedarte sin sitio. Muy concurrido. Las alcachofas buenísimas, al igual que las costillas. Por ponerle un pero: limitado en cuanto a intolerancias (lactosa) y alergias (ajo).

Hemos venido a cenar dos parejas con dos niños a este restaurante tan bien emplazado y la experiencia ha sido muy buena! Ya es la segunda vez que venimos a cenar al Escolapi y no será la última. Desde compartir unas tapas y una parrillada de pescado a cenar pizzas (muy ricas), puedes tener el tipo de cena que te apetezca y la que se ajuste mas a tu bolsillo. Para mi, destacar zamburiñas y las vieiras con foie, y como no, los postres. El servicio muy correcto y el entorno, privilegiado. Volveremos!

La comida bastante buena, el canelon de pato xxl espectacular. También comimos mejillones a la marinera, estaban bien y alcachofa frita. Los camareros correctos, pero jóvenes y con poca experiencia, no tenían claro que tenían en carta ni te sabían recomendar un vino.

Fuimos con reserva aun que en temporada baja no nos hubiera hecho falta. La terraza tiene bastantes estufas así que se puede cenar fuera sin pasar frio ahora en invierno. La comida muy buena.

The food was a very good standard and the staff very professional. The food isn't that different to thousands of other restaurants in the area but the location is what makes it special. There was nothing wrong and maybe a 3 star on the food is a little harsh but for me to mark a 4 or 5 there need to be something different to the rest. I highly recommend a visit.

The food, the service and the ambiente are very good. The appetizer sardines, the paellas and the pizzas are really good and are definitely ‘must eats’. The offered house wine is so so, there is room to improve. Considering the valuable price the overall rating should be 4,5 stars. Unfortunately the system doesn’t allow number in between 4 and 5.

Overall, this was a great visit during our stop. The staff were able to accommodate our early arrival and last-minute addition of a guest. We had a seafood platter - it was very fresh and overall well prepared. The razor clasms were gritty however the snails were a tasty surprise for me. Don't expect them with lots of butter...just cooked and tasty! The salad with goat cheese was also tasty. If you are in a hurry, do alert staff as this isn't the fastest meal around - although that could be due to what we ordered.

El ambiente y la decoración, bien. La atención por parte de los camareros muy buena. Los entrantes que hemos pedido estaban también muy buenos. En especial el paté de micuit de foie. De segundo, hemos pedido un arroz del señoret, que no estaba malo pero desde luego hemos probado mejores. Normalmente es de pescado y este llevaba trozos de carne también, un tanto raro para mi gusto. En cuanto al postre, no tenían ninguna opción sin gluten, así que no he podido probarlos. Sí nos han puesto pan sin gluten (2,5€/pieza).

the service was great and we appreciated that alot the food - artichokes fried a bit boring and needs a sauce, they brought us mayo and ketchup the duck canneloni is pretty good the lamb shoulder had no seasoning but otherwise was ok we failed to ask for tap water and thus were forced to pay for the bottled water... and why do they bring it to the table uncapped? it should be opened at the table in front of the customer my wife was happy but i was neither wowed or impressed.

The Pizza is quite good, the sangria was more like a cold Glühwein, but what was really terrible was Service...sorry, that's not the way how we like to be treated. There are way better and more friendly places !! And places where you get more for your money too!

Estuvimos hace una semana. No me gusto nada, me pareció muy caro comparado con restaurantes de alrededor. 10 euros por 4 navajas contadas y pequeñas. Las tallarinas q me encantan, una decepción, con aceite seguro girasol, no sabían a nada. Mejillones pasables.La ensaladilla buena. pero poca cantidad, lo mismo que los buñuelos. Lo mejor los chocos. No volveremos con todo lo que hay cerca para escoger. Cierran la cocina a las 16h.
