Recently visited Copper Shark for my birthday, and it was honestly such a wonderful experience. The hostess was prompt and polite with seating. Our server, Christian, was super down to earth and attentive to a point where there weren’t any gaps in between our orders. You can tell he works with a purpose and it undoubtedly stems from his personality. Ericka, Carlos, and Bryan (general manager/managers) were always within reach and definitely made a lasting impression on us. We had the pleasure of learning about their humble upbringings which really opened up the air a bit. This is important for me since i’ve always believed food and company should complement one another. It was also funny seeing my dad yap so much. 😆 I think the only annoying part about this whole dining experience was deciding on my entree. We shared the house focaccia (which switches up from time to time,) burrata on gremolata, shrimp cavatalli, and tres leches which were all delicious. I decided on the duck confit mushroom risotto for my entree which was kind of a no brainer for me. Circled by a nice pour of their au jus? Let’s go. Stop by and give this place a shot if you haven’t already. I’m definitely coming up from time to time, and thank you guys for having us! *Also wish I took more pictures, but was sort of busy eating everything.

This place is outstanding. First you have the beautiful interior and intricate designs that are perfect for pics ofc. Then, you have the fantastic food - I ordered the Wild Boar Ragu and had no regrets. Finally, the customer service was beautiful. Our wonderful waitress, Paige, was so considerate and the consideration extended past her and into the rest of the staff. Will definitely be coming back soon!!

THE COPPER SHARK: The food, the experience and the ambiance were amazing!!!!! The Copper Shark offers happy hour, outdoor seating with a fire pit, live music from talented musicians and intimate seating for those wanting privacy. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the items on the menu and offered great recommendations for our party. I forget the waitress name, but she was responsible for hosting our dinner event. For starters, we tried the house bread service and the crispy fried burrata, which were both delicious! For drinks, we ordered the Floridan beer and the Trinidad sour (non-alcoholic), both of the drinks were good! I would’ve opted to order another drink, as they offered more non-alcoholic drinks on the menu. Now, let’s talk about the food! We ordered the blackberry salad and omitted a few ingredients to accommodate the vegan dietary restriction. I loved the portion size of the salad, which was full. The succotash was flavorful and tasty and it turned out to be a good pairing item with the blackberry salad. The zaatar grilled lamb duo was delicious and fully cooked (upon request). The pairing sides and condiments that came with the lamb were great compliments. The house fries were a tasty classic, paired with the ketchup provided. Overall, my first time visit to The Copper Shark definitely exceeded my expectations and I would most certainly recommend this establishment.

My boyfriend and I had dinner here for our anniversary and it was a lovely experience! Our server was fantastic and the atmosphere is really nice for date night. The food was delicious and the cocktails were great. The manager even came over to chat with us and check in. It was clear that the people working at Copper Shark care about quality food and providing a great experience for folks dining in. We will definitely be back, thank you!

My wife and I celebrated 35 years of marriage with dinner. We were greeted with a warm invitation by the hostess. Tina was amazing. She was the best. She made great suggestions for dinner. Tina. was very attentive throughout our dinning experience. I had a fresh Caesar Salad and we had a shareable dish of Brussels Sprouts with Pork Belly. (oh my goodness!) My wife had the Roasted Butternut Crab Soup (amazing, rich & creamy and very flavorful), Honey Roasted Duck Breast with Parsnip puree, carrot pave, & parsnip crisps (the duck breast was succulent, rich color & perfect contrast between crispy and juicy). I had 14oz New York Strip with crispy fingerling potatoes, grilled broccolini & CS steak sauce. (great sear, tender, juicy, rich flavor). The CS sauce was an added flavorful spicy bonus. The entire meal was amazing. For dessert we had Warm Apple Cinnamon Bread Pudding, (made fresh every day, melted ) We ended our night there with a great conversation with the Manager Carlos. He inquired about our experience and our conversation grew from there. We talked about Copper & Shark's history, his commitment to preparing and serving great food and providing excellent service to everyone; Family, community and building relationships. His passion what he does and his love for family and deep desire to enrich the community is expressed in the atmosphere of Copper & Shark. On our list of doing 35 new things, this was an extremely great place to start. I hope that when you go, you'll treasure your experience as we do. You'll walk away with new bold, explosive taste on your palate, an appreciation for a warm atmosphere and perhaps an extension of your family. "Come and dine, you'll be welcomed!"

We are from out of town visiting and came here for dinner and had a wonderful experience. They seated us when it was still close to closing hours, everyone was so friendly and attentive, and the food and atmosphere were perfect. The one thing I thought was odd was that I was charged extra for a sugar rim. I’ve never had a place do that before and it comes off a little tacky, it doesn’t affect my overall experience though and we would definitely return.

I HATE WRITING THIS REVIEW! I want this place all to myself but since I cant go everday please go too! The food is SOOOO good, I mean everything is amazing. Over 3 visits we have had the beets, cauliflower, tuna tartar, wagyu tartar, duck bolognaise, roasted carrots, whipped ricotta, and bbq pork belly. I just dont get how they do all of these so well. Baltimore has a few great restaurants but this is probably the top for the value (great portions, fair prices). And the whiskey selection is top notch and priced very fair as well. Bartender was super friendly and knowledable as well. Please leave my wife and I seat at the bar if you go....

Had a wonderful experience with our server, Samantha. The whipped ricotta was amazing. The grilled octopus was a nice surprise and my friend’s pork chop was out of this world. The drinks did not disappoint. Friendly, top tier service. Carlos, the manager, made his rounds and we couldn’t wait to tell him how pleased we were. Will definitely be coming back.

Came here for brunch. First time. I got The Copper Shark Sandwich - absolutely delicious. The drink I got (The Witcher) was also delicious, so I ordered another one. Service was fantastic. They are attentive but don't hover awkwardly.

Was in Baltimore for the weekend, and heard excellent things about Copper Shark so I had to check it out! The chicken and waffles were some of the best I’ve ever had — super crispy skin and juicy chicken. The manager, Bryan, was kind and made our experience wonderful. Will definitely be going back next time I’m in Baltimore :)

We hosted my mom’s surprise 70th birthday brunch at Copper Shark in Baltimore, and it was absolutely perfect! The food and drinks were fantastic — every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. Our server, Andrew, was outstanding — attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. The manager, Ericka, went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that we had an amazing experience. She was so accommodating and kind from start to finish. Thank you to the entire team at Copper Shark for helping make such a special day truly unforgettable! Highly recommend for any celebration or just a great meal out.

This food is so good I don't know what to do. This is hands down the best rum punch I've ever had and this ain't my first rum punch. Pt 2 - omg came back a 2nd time and it was even BETTER than the first time! The duck risotto!! I had to remember to breathe. Way to go chef!

Came in for a business dinner one weeknight… Service, venue, and menu were all fantastic. The food tasted and looked amazing. Drinks and wine list were just great as well. Some items to try that were great – Their bavette, crab cake, focaccia, cole slaw, and most definitely their steak sauce. While I tried their au poivre, I preferred the steak sauce so much more and it tasted great on their potatoes too! Save room for dessert, they have lots to choose from and their espresso martini is a great way to wash down what you select. Definitely would return!

I have nothing but praise for this restaurant! They have plenty of parking on site, which is already a huge plus. The menu was packed with favorites, so it was really hard for us to narrow it down. Everything we ate was beyond delicious - chicken & waffles, crab omelette, home fries, whipped ricotta. So good! I'd go back just for the grapefruit mimosa. Seriously can't wait to go back!

Some friends and I stopped by Copper Shark here for a night cap after dinner and we had an amazing time. The atmosphere was really nice, the interior was rustic yet sophisticated. We sat outside on the patio and the atmosphere was so cozy. The cocktails are very reasonably priced, especially compared to other establishments in the city. A paper plane was only $14 which is a really great deal! They also make a nice espresso martini. Our server, Christian, was excellent— he was so friendly and very attentive. I’d love to come back for brunch or dinner someday next time I’m in the area.

Awesome dinner and experience!!! We sat at the bar which was super fun. Bartenders walked us through the entire menu and gave perfect recommendations. Food and drinks were excellent. Had the Brussels sprouts appetizer, burger with fries and the pork chop. Big portions and all perfectally cooked and great tasting. The spicy margarita was one of the best cocktails we have ever had. Topped off with the cinnamon roll bread pudding with salted caramel ice cream which was incredible!! Will definitely be returning very soon!

Had a great first time at Copper Shark. A very exciting menu, from charred octopus with squid ink emulsion to the mustard-crusted lamb shank. All of the food was as delicious as it was beautiful. Staff was pleasant and knowledgeable, ambience was superb, wait times were quick. Parking is also ample as a plus. Going back ASAP. Highly recommended.

Saturday brunch of breakfast tacos, beet salad and French toast were excellent. Fast and courteous service. More meat based than vegetarian offerings. Sleek interiors would make a good 'date night' atmosphere too. Easy parking.

The Copper Shark exudes class. Whoever owns this place knows a thing or two about the restaurant biz. Great experience from top to bottom. The menu is unique. Each dish is specially crafted, and the plating ... magnifique. Everything about the Copper Shark just oozes class. Super stylish interior. Good for date night or grabbing Sunday brunch with friends. Only open for dinner during the week, so plan accordingly. Reservations recommended. No issues to speak of. Just a dazzling exhibition by the staff, and an overall marvelous experience from the get-go. I don't live in Maryland, but this is one I'll definitely have to remember for future visits. If anyone ever asks me about Baltimore restaurant suggestions, Copper Shark will be near the top of the list!

Stumbled upon this joint almost accidentally and I'm SO glad I did! The menu is incredible - they have dishes that you won't find anywhere else. We sat in the bar at a high top and started with spicy bloody Mary's (with their own homemade mix) - they were spot on. We got the breakfast tacos and breakfast burger - both pictured here. Kennedy was our server and bartender and she was fantastic and attentive. The food was on point! I can't think of one thing that wasn't absolutely perfect! Even the bathrooms are gorgeous - individual handicap sized stalls decorated to a tee! Their Bourbon Collection has to be mentioned ... They have bourbon you can't even find in stores. Check out their menu online and you will see what I mean. I can't wait to be back in Baltimore to go again!

I saw this place pop up on my social media over the past week and I had to check it out. I went with my partner and we decided to try a bunch of different appetizers as our meal - everything was absolutely delicious. We ended up getting the ahi nachos, duck bolognese, watermelon feta salad, risotto caprese, and truffle fries and I wish I had room in my stomach to try everything else. For me, the star of the show was definitely the olive oil cake with the blueberry ice cream - it was perfection 🤤 The drinks were super fun as well and I would definitely recommend checking out any of the cocktails. Super fun place with great food, good drinks, and attentive and kind bartenders!

We went there several times for brunch. The price is very reasonable with excellent food. No any dishes that disappointed. All the food are very tasty and the drinks are really good too. We will go back again.

Loved the decor and atmosphere as soon as we walked in. Delicious and distinct menu for both food and specialty drinks. The real treat was the wonderful wait staff. Yanna T was our waitress. Not only was she friendly and attentive, but she did a fantastic job with her recommendations and coordinating food timing with members of our party who arrived later. Fantastic dining experience.

Carlos is so endearing with us as his customer. He really likes to make sure we are happy with our dining experience. Our wait staff Paige was super engaging and showed a lot of professionalism with her familiarization with the food, drinks and wine menu. Definitely recommend for the atmosphere, service and food.

Beautiful restaurant with great service but some misses on the food (for the price). We had a lovely time with friends and loved the place; they did a great job accommodating a larger group, and the staff were incredible. The fact that they promptly brought out all the food simultaneously for 9 guests was great. There are two reasons I gave it four stars: 1. It's a bit loud for me, and it was difficult to have conversation, near impossible with anyone who wasn't right next to me. 2. There were small misses on the food; for a cheaper restaurant I might not mention: some pasta stuck together in clumps, a couple dishes listing ingredients that didn't appear on the plate, a couple dishes lacking flavor, and two dishes that had to be sent back because of mistakes (which, to their credit they did promptly). Highlights: crab cakes, burrata, french fries, and the sauce on the brussel sprouts.

We had another great experience at Copper Shark! The food was delicious as always, but what really stood out was the exceptional service. Elona and Paige were both incredibly attentive throughout our meal. A special shoutout to Elona—she not only made us feel welcomed the moment we walked in, but she also remembered us from our first visit back in July. Her attention to detail was impressive—she even remembered my dessert order from last time! That kind of personalized service is rare and truly appreciated. Copper Shark continues to be one of our go-to spots for a great dinner or date night. Highly recommend!

Great atmosphere and very rustic elegant feeling.we went for brunch so all comments are based off the brunch menu and experience. Pros: amazing parking and easy to get to off the highway. They were very helpful in accommodating a large party. We didn’t like a dish and they replaced it and didn’t charge The drinks were very good Prices are affordable. Service was great. Quick and communicative The burrata is a standout Cons: Felt somewhat cramped in walkways and table size Some food left more to be desired. The flavors were alright and some felt maybe preheated They do not offer dairy free options nor turkey bacon Things to know: The chicken and waffles are bone in not the typical tenders Large parties have the tip added ahead of time, check your receipts The brunch menu is somewhat limited in variety. There is a brunch drink menu but they also have another one. So make sure to ask for it

Came here for dinner on a Saturday night at 5:30. We were able to get reservations and a table very easily. The restaurant is beautiful and very modern and clean. The food was very good. We got the Burrata, truffle arancini as appetizers. They were very good. The waiter gave us extra bread for the Burrata, which was much appreciated. As a main course we each for the shrimp cavatelli special. It was delicious. We also each got drink, me, the old fashioned, and my wife the espresso martini, which was good, but a bit too frothy. Will definitely be back, but be ready to spend a pretty penny as it’s expensive, probably a hair more expensive than expected.

Copper Shark has a more casual vibe than its setting would suggest. The flavors weren’t as bold as expected, but I actually liked how simple and healthy the dishes were. The portions were also generous, which I loved. The staff were really friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. I’d go back next time to try more dishes on the menu.

We really enjoyed Cooper Shark. The vibe was comfortable, the food was on point and our server did a great job. It is more upscale and expensive than most of the other Locust Point bar/restaurants but it certainly has a place in the area and was clearly very popular based on the crowd and people waiting to get in.

I enjoyed the atmosphere. I visited here 3/24/24 to celebrate a family event during brunch. Our seating was perfect. I ordered the steak and eggs. My food tasted good, but my steak came out cold. My husband ordered the short rib benidict, which was good, but the rib was also cold. I ordered a carafe of mimosa. And my sister ordered a flavored carafe . They were good but could not taste the difference between the 2. I felt like my server could've been slightly more attentive. As the restaurant did not appear to be busy. We ordered the cinammon roll donut, and the waffle beignets -good. Also ordered was the fruity pebble pancake, which i found disappointing because it was a spoonful of cereal on top of pancakes rather than being a lucious topping or the cereal being cooked it in (expected).

The Copper Shark is located in a beautifully designed building. Our waitress was super nice and attentive. The food was spectacular. I had the duck and waffles. Only complaint was my husband’s crab omelette was smaller than expected for an omelette. Overall, highly recommend and will be returning.

Came for brunch and the food and ambiance was amazing. The short rib Benedict, cinnamon rolls, shrimp and grits , waffle beignets, and crab omelette were all amazing. What we wanted wasn’t on the menu (lobster frittata) but the selections are rotating constantly Cocktails Were delicious as well Server seemed overwhelmed. Short staffed maybe? But otherwise it was amazing

Such a fun atmosphere and definitely has great potential! The drinks were delicious. I highly recommend the strawberry smash if you’re looking for something light and refreshing. The American Treasure was a unique & fun take on an Old Fashioned and the fried burrata was delicious! Our server was very friendly and our food came out pretty quickly despite how busy it was. The entrees were good but didn’t live up to the expectation set by the drinks and app. We’d definitely try again and try some different entrees!

Located on the ground floor of a warehouse-looking building, so GPS was a little weird, but ample free parking right outside the doors. Arrived on time for a 7:00 reservation, we were told tables were still full and we would have a wait of 5-10 minutes. Where to wait was not immediately made clear, but we found space in the bar area. A member of the wait staff found us and took a drink order as our wait had been extended to another 10 minutes. All together, it was a 30 minute wait for the table, and the cocktails arrived at the same time as the host told us the table was ready. That meant the drink order was transferred to the table. Hoping the restaurant has a tip-sharing policy, but little communication gaps like that plagued the whole night. If the host was keeping the bartender or waitress updated when new people were entering, then those orders could've gone out quicker. As it stood, they were minutes away from losing the order entirely, and really should've comp-ed us the round of drinks to makeup for our wait. From there, we had one of the weirdest meals I've experienced, easily in the last ten years. Everyone who worked there seemed to have worked in food service before, but not necessarily there and not necessarily together. In fact, we openly wondered how long the place had existed, and were very surprised to see it had been open for over three years. The room we were in was dominated by a very large TV that was initially on a screensaver before flipping to a YouTube sign-in screen for the remainder of the meal. The wait staff didn't seem bothered by it, though. The timing of the whole meal seemed off, like something came a little too soon or was a little late on every course. As a party of current and former food service/hospitality professionals, we saw how much of the issue was communication and it was baffling at times. Cocktails were a mix of classics and modern-takes on classics, which wasn't revolutionary, but everything we tried was done VERY well. Don't bother with the filet, the Wagyu bavette was a perfect medium-rare and the chimichurri was bangin. The fingerlings were solid as smashed potatoes, but those shoestring fries were just ridiculous and should come with every steak. Whoever is in the kitchen deserves a FOH that can get dishes hitting tables on time, every time, because that food was still absolutely delicious, even given the off-kilter timing. EDIT: I really must commend Copper Shark's team for their response and follow-up as they have shown nothing but grace and acceptance towards my concerns. Very happy to be able to adjust the service score to reflect this dedication to their customers. Our group is looking forward to a return trip after the holidays!

Came to Copper shark for a special date night while looking for someplace new. Found a delightful experience all around. We started our meal with a great cocktail. For dinner, I had the crispy rockfish which was yummy. We finished the experience with fantastic bread pudding and a slice of Tres Leche cake. Oh my... what a way to finish the meal. Throughout the evening, our server was attentive and friendly. Only disappointment - the lighting was a bit bright, making the room's atmosphere cooler and less intimate than the menu and evening promised.

From the hostess, to the server, Samantha M, my experience was a delight. I have a “thing” about Tuna tartare, and I have had it across the country. The nice citrus notes and crunchy corn and pine nuts and the abundance of Crispy wontons was excellent. I also had the scallops with a side of carrots ( the carrots were slightly too salty) but the meal was great!! Nice job CopperShark!! The smoked OldFashioned I started the even with was also delicious!!

The atmosphere was pleasant, however the overall dining experience did not fully match the price point. The food is quite expensive, and the quality and execution could be improved. When requesting meat well done, I did not expect it to be red inside. Similarly, when my friend asked for well done salmon, it arrived undercooked in the center. At this level, greater attention to guests’ cooking preferences would make a noticeable difference. With better consistency, this restaurant has the potential to offer a much stronger experience.

Service was good, drinks were good, but food was ok. Came here for brunch, we ordered the smoked salmon Benedict, duck omelette, and pancakes. For the salmon Benedict, the egg was under-poached where the white part was jelly-like. Also it had barley any hollandaise sauce on it. The meal was a tad cold. Pancakes were cold too. We were overall disappointed with the food :(

Came here with my daughter on a Tuesday evening in late July as I was seeking a good burger in Baltimore. Unfortunately was thoroughly disappointed by the food. The burger (Copper Burger) itself was average at best and lacked any real flavor despite its appealing profile which included onion straws as a topping. My daughter ordered the fried chicken which was even a bigger disappointment. It's advertised as being brined for 24 hours and then dredged in a buttermilk batter which sounds amazing but the reality was quite different. The platter arrived and appeared to be overcooked a bit at first glance. After taking her first bite it was confirmed that it was overcooked. My daughter offered me the thigh from her plate and that was completely overdone and did not contain any of the flavorful juices that you would expect from a fried piece of chicken thigh. The skin itself was extra crispy on top to the point where I could not break it down with the squeeze of my fingers as it required a fork and also contained a sub-layer that was singed but rubbery in texture on top of the meat which was dried. I flagged this for the waitress who immediately notified the manager who unfortunately did not recognize or accept that the meal had not been properly cooked but stated that the meal is supposed to come that way because due to the batter, it had to be cooked extra long to ensure the internal temp of the chicken was achieved. This response was disappointing because I've had quite my share of fried chicken over the years that have had a similar prep process and somehow arrived to my table fully cooked with just the right amount of juiciness and flavor throughout the skin and meat but nevertheless, he did offer to replace the meal with something else to which we declined and he took it off of the check for which we were grateful. In the end, the place has a great vibe and feel to it. The service was above average and we could've just caught them on an off night but the experience overall was very underwhelming due in large part to the food.

Great atmosphere for brunch but some adjustments are needed. $2 for 2 cherries to add to a cocktail for some reason. Gigantic appetizer portion for Brussels sprouts for $16 and a crab omelette/potato entree that I thought came from the kids menu (tiny for $22). Service was just terrible from wait times for cocktails, water, salt, pepper, and hot sauce (which must’ve been peppered up ketchup). Food was tasty but cocktails were overpriced. Horrible service for a party of 4 and dainty entree ruined this place for me.

Copper Shark was a warm and cozy evening. Unfortunately, the menu items we ordered fell short of expectations. The presentation, service, and atmosphere is amazing. However, the taste of the food felt bland and confusing. For the price point and audience this restaurant attracts, I would unfortunately choose somewhere else for a steakhouse. Again, the service and everything was beautiful and speedy… just the food was disappointing.

I was pretty excited to visit Copper Shark given the high reviews. However, I was pretty disappointed to find that the dishes rely heavily on marketing without the execution to back it up. The only plus was that our server was an absolute gem. My SO and I tried the bread plate, tuna tartare, beef carpaccio, grilled octopus, and duck duo. The tuna tartare was confusing with the soy "gelee" that bore no resemblance to any gelee I've enjoyed in the past... It was more akin to a thick hoisin sauce... So, menu zhush #1. The bread (highly emphasized to be homemade - zhush #2) was a pretty dense, under proofed enriched dough that reminded me of how sweet, but relatively bland bread machine concoctions turn out. I've made lean + enriched breads before + know a passable loaf is not too difficult, so this bummed me out. We did not finish it since it wasn't the most worthwhile thing to fill up on. It would be nice if Copper Shark just ordered from one of the many great bakeries in the city. The grilled octopus legs were served with a "squid ink emulsion" (zhush #3) and nicoise salad. In reality, the emulsion was just black mayo that was frankly quite gross, esp served at room temp. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ The octopus legs weren't tough, but I wasn't able to eat much of it since the way the skin cooked kind of felt like it was sloughing off the meat in a really gelatinous manner when I was chewing. My husband was able to stomach it more than me, but he didn't love the texture either. The salad was okay. Not the worst, not the best. The beef carpaccio was the plate my husband couldn't bear to eat, so I had the responsibility. I don't know what they're doing with their carpaccio since it didn't seem fully raw. Maybe they drizzled some type of vinegar or they plated it WAY in advance + the pickled onions just oozed vinegar everywhere, curing the meat. Whatever the case, it was on the plate long enough to cause moisture to seep through and glue the slices to the plate, causing it to shred apart in little pieces when I was trying to eat it. I couldn't finish this plate either. Also, why more mayo?? That turned the cured beef into a deconstructed roast beef sandwich. The duck duo wasn't the worst since neither the leg nor breast were badly cooked, but for a $39 plate, it was pretty unacceptable. 👎 The lentils and kale had no seasoning, the "fois gras vinaigrette" (zhush #4) tasted like an overly bitter balsamic reduction (if there was fois gras in it, it was a waste of duck liver 😕), and I don't quite know what the white sauce was supposed to add to the plate. It was mildly buttery/lemony, but very bland more than anything else. We also got a few cocktails + beer. Cocktails were okay, nothing bad outside of the price markup to match the rest of their menu. I'm happy that their bar at least manages good draft lines to ensure the beer is nice, crisp, and cold. 👍 All-in-all, Copper Shark was an overwhelming disappointment. The menu focuses on fancy buzzwords to justify the insanely high mark-up, but they don't seem to have someone at the helm of the kitchen that can ensure they can walk the walk. The extra star is purely based on the fact that nothing made us sick + the fact that their servers are very hospitable and engaging. If you do end up going here, my advice is to steer clear of anything with molecular gastronomic phrases. Just get something simple that is hard to mess up. 🤷‍♀️

My partner picked this restaurant to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. The food was awesome, atmosphere was nice, service left much to be desired. Had odd encounters at both the bar while waiting for our table and the server for our meal. My partner (who wouldn’t lodge a complaint if you accidentally set his hair on fire) said the server didn’t seem like she wanted to be there or serving us. The energy was very off. Despite the food being great, it definitely left a “bad taste in your mouth”. She was dismissive and inattentive and the bar tender was curt. For the cost I was hoping for a better holistic experience (food, atmosphere, and service), but 2 out of 3 was what we got.

Great atmosphere and cocktails, but we never got seated for our reservation. We had a 7pm reservation for 2 people made through open table. When we arrived at 6:48, a group of 6 people who also had a reservation as 7 entered right before us. The host told both parties our tables weren’t ready yet and we should wait at the bar. The bar staff were very friendly and efficient though probably overwhelmed. There was about a 15 minute wait before we were able to order our drinks because there were only 2 bartenders for the large, crowded bar area. Once we got our drinks, we assumed our table would be ready soon as it was a little after 7. The drinks were very good and the bartender was very apologetic for the wait. By 7:15 the table of 6 that entered right before us had been seated so I went back to the host to ask about our table, thinking he lost us in the crowd. The host said he didn’t have a table for us yet and it would be another 15-30 minutes or so. So we left. I can’t understand why a 7pm reservation would mean we would have to wait until 7:45 (or later) to be seated. It was incredibly frustrating.
