The food is always amazing , it’s way better than the Mexican restaurant across the street . I usually eat to go , not sure if it’s a language barrier but sometimes the atmosphere can feel a little uncomfortable but the food is a 10/10
Excellent service! Food is authentic and delicious with a good selection of sauces. Store is well stocked with hard to find products, especially seasonings and spices. I will be back often!!
I cannot say enough about this place. A charming hole in the wall with wonderful people staffing the tienda. The food is delicious and if you're looking for some authentic mexican food, this is it.

The best place in town to do a little grocery shopping and get a bite to eat. I’m only used to this in big cities thus very fortunate to have one. The tacos are the best, always ask for extra salsa
This is the most authentic Mexican food you can get in town. We always love coming here when we crave for some Mexican food. The servers are very pleasant as well.
This place is a Hidden Gem in the heart of Batesville. I will always drop by when I need the taste of something authentic instead of the typical Tex-Mex style food we typically get in this area of the United States. The service is always quick and attentive, and the food comes out fresh and delicious! I've had a pretty wide variety of the menu, and haven’t been disappointed yet, so I suggest diving in and enjoying whatever catches your eye!

Me and my husband have been coming here for a while and always get something different or one of our favorites. Most definitely would recommend the sopes, pozole, gorditas, tacos, or caldo de res. We also get dorilocos or mangonadas.
They always give me a very weird look and laugh a lot but I still like the food. They have stuff there I haven't seen other places... They say they have checked cashing but out of the 4 times I've gone in to cash a check they wouldn't do it for different reasons every time. Parking is really bad n it's not handicap accessible. Prices are fairish...
Nice store. Moved here from AZ and have been missing authentic Mexican food. This place hits the nail on the head with the food, and the store front has many things (ingredients, candies, snacks) that are hard to find. I'm glad I found this store, definitely a hidden gem.

Went here a couple weeks ago for the first time. The service is nice, very laid-back environment and the food came out very fast. In terms of the food itself it was good, I've had the tacos and the quesadilla and it's probably my favorite I've had around this area. I fell in love with the jamaica (if I spelt that right)
Great little restaurant good food and I a great little comestibles store. Please add prices to everything. A lot of items in the restaurant and store are not priced
pupusas are good!!! very disappointed with the carne asada family aggreed way to chewy n fatty. taste was good but spit out half of meat coz most of it was chewy n fatty..waitress was nice.
Tacos and quesadilla asada for lunch, definitely will be back. Only 4 stars because of a mixup at the register when I got ready to pay, nothing major.
The food was pretty good but the actual shop was amazing, they have some of the best ingredients. Nowhere have I found a place with such diverse options in ingredients selection. Dried peppers there can be utilized in so many different ways. If you want to add some smokiness or flavorful heat to a dish absolutely work with these ingredients you won't regret it!
Paid $40 for a burrito and three tacos. Could not understand why it was so expensive because no one spoke English :( Food was great though.
I’m not really sure about this place the first time I went I got horchata and it costed exactly $3.50 then I went the next day and they said it costed $4.50 so then I called today and they said it was 6$ I’m not sure if it’s because I’m white or because I’m a female (someone in the comments said they are only nice to males)
The owners and the food are not the problem, but the servers and cashiers are. We’re tired of having to deal with bad attitude and faces everytime we come in. They’re only nice to the men who come in but the moment they see a woman pull up, they give the worst passive aggression. It’s gotten so bad that they are becoming known for the bad service.
