OPA Bath

We came for an evening meal and felt like we were in Greece. The most amazing food, drinks and incredible service from our waitress Iris. Nothing was too much for her and she made our night extra special. Thank you to all at Opa and Iris x x x

I came with my family to Opa. It was an amazing experience and I will be sure to come back. It was authentic Greek food and very delicious. The waiters(Despiuen) were very friendly and the service was excellent. Overall a great experience and I will be looking forward to come back.

We went for the veggie feast and wow—every dish was an absolute burst of flavours! Fresh, vibrant, beautifully presented, and honestly some of the best vegetarian plates we’ve had in a long time. A special shout-out to Alex, who was absolutely incredible from start to finish. So warm, so friendly, and genuinely made us feel taken care of. It’s rare to find service that elevates a meal this much, but Alex did exactly that. The interior is stunning—soft lighting, beautiful touches, and such a cosy, inviting vibe that makes you want to linger long after your plates are cleared. Opa Meze is the perfect combination of amazing food, exceptional service, and a gorgeous atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back! 🌿✨

Food was amazing! The best Greek food I have ever had in the UK. Dylan was amazing. He has amazing customer service. You’ll be in good hands if he is your waiter. Thank you Opa for the amazing experience. The interior was fantastic. I literally felt like I was in Greece.

Came on a Sunday eve so was worried we'd be the only ones here! But no! Nicely busy, relaxed vibe, waitress was attentive without being overbearing. Food was just lovely 🤩. Nice selection of food too and a deal on cocktails which looked great. Really liked the deco and music. Definitely recommend. Ps some steep steps down into the restaurant so not great if U have mobility issues.

First time visiting Bath and first time visiting Opa and I could not recommend it enough. Amazing Greek food and incredible atmosphere. Our server Despina was excellent, very friendly and welcoming and her recommendations were spot on!

Such a great experience. The food was delicious and the overall setting of the restaurant was very authentic. Special mention to Aryan - he was very honest when it came to taking the order and advised that what was being ordered was a lot of food and pointed us in the right direction with what we had in mind from our original order. We would definitely look at returning as it was that good.

My wife and I had a lovely dinner here with an awesome and amazing server, Despina - make sure you ask for her and her amazing service 😀 I had the chicken souvlaki and my wife had the gemista, with kolokithokeftedakia as a starter. The Greek food was good, and a taste of home, coming from a Cypriot 🇨🇾 Only comment of improvement, is that since we sat next to the bar, is that either the blender needs to be relocated or need to invest in a quieter blender 😉

We had a wonderful lunch at Oma when visiting Bath for the Christmas markets. The decor is beautiful and really gives you a Mamma Mia / Greek vibe. The service was great and portion sizes large so fantastic value for money. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly - thank you very much Despina for being such an attentive waitress - we will definitely be back!

The absolute most beautiful Greek restaurant I have ever been to. Food was very reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. We had a sharing platter which was more than enough for 2 people with a massive selection. Brilliant service and will be looking forward to returning

Absolutely would highly recommend this place! The restaurant is stunning - don't let the exterior fool you, as it's gorgeous inside. The staff are lovely, and the food is truly amazing. Just a heads up for anyone with mobility issues: the steps down to the restaurant are quite steep. Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish!

Picked this spot for mine and my girlfriend's 3 year anniversary. We got sat at a table as per our reservation, and got met with Despina who was the waiter for the night. I want to say that she's probably one of the best and friendliest staff person to any restaurant I've met. The food was hot, very good looking and very tasty. The place also looks very nice inside, we spent quite a while just talking about the decor, paintings on the wall and other related subjects. Overall a really nice experience. Highly recommend.

The veal and the sofrito were absolutely to die for! We also ordered a Mango Tango cocktail which was nice and sweet - but honestly - come for the sofrito - we are even thinking of returning tomorrow for lunch! Definitely the best Greek I tasted in and outside of England and definitely the best place in Bath! Hope to return here very soon 🤩

We had a delicious meal at Opa during our stay in Bath. The restaurant is beautifully decorated inside and you truly feel tucked away while enjoying your food. The staff went above and beyond during service and our food tasted delicious. We especially enjoyed the Meze to share. Please don't hesitate to book this lovely Greek restaurant while visiting the area.

Came here with my boyfriend for my birthday. The food is spectacular!! We ordered the Feast of Titans, and couldn’t be more pleased. Our waitress, Despina ,was delightful, attentive, and friendly. The atmosphere is so cool and feels authentic. Everything tasted amazing and super fresh. Will definitely be coming back!!

We booked this place for dinner. The vibe of the place is amazing. It’s like a piece of Greece in the UK. The food was fabulous. Just melts in your mouth, we were really pleased by the food. I’d give a 10/10. The cocktails were delicious! Overall would visit again.

I read the reviews and seem very positive for everything. So me and my bf gave it a go! What a meal! Everything is sooo good. We ordered Mediterranean dips, squid and Maze of Titans for share. I love the squids plate. Deep fried very tasty. Pita bread is so soft and nice. Grilled meat are brilliant. The lady who service our table is very lovely. We had a good time! Oh! They have 2 for 1 drink! I tried the sunset spritz. Lovely

We came to Bath for my birthday weekend and we decided to have a look at some Greek restaurants and we found OPA to be one of the best in Bath. We went and it was sublime, the food is absolutely amazing. We’ve even got recipes to take home with us. Our waitress Despina was fantastic, couldn’t have been more helpful? What a lovely lady. Thank you for such a fantastic meal.

Absolutely beautiful from start to finish. The food is utterly gorgeous, full of flavour and clearly made with so much care. The venue itself is out of this world — sitting here genuinely feels like being transported back to Greece. My partner and I got engaged in Rhodes, and Opa has brought all of those memories flooding back. The atmosphere, the décor, the warmth — it’s magical. We’re beyond excited to be booking Opa as our wedding venue this September, and after experiencing it today, we couldn’t imagine a more perfect place. Truly special.

After my Birthday plans fell through my boyfriend and I decided to wing it, I fancied Greek food for dinner and we found Opal online. I was not disappointed, the atmosphere, the food and the staff where all incredible. 5 stars is not enough, we will defiantly be coming back.

Beautiful decoration and murals on the walls. The food was excellent, especially the trio of cheeses as a starter. The staff were very friendly and were happy to recommend dishes when we were stuck on what to order.

A beautiful Greek restaurant, with fantastic authentic decor. The food was absolutely phenomenal. I had the Sefrito beef in a white wine sauce topped with feta and a creamy mash and a side of green salad. Everything was beautifully seasoned. Our waitress, Despina, was extremely attentive, speaking to each customer as if they were an old friend. I’ve never seen someone move so quickly and efficiently through a space. We will definitely be returning.

From walking in to a pretty lit up water fall, so navigating the low archways into the most beautiful restaurant in Bath. The decor is stunning, the food is incredible, the music was on point. Just a lovely lovely experience and evening. There’s a reason this restaurant gets booked up quick, it’s worth it!

One of the greatest Greeks I’ve ever been too, lovely enclosed cave vibes. With amazing Greek music. Let’s talk about the food it’s genuinely amazing, we had the titans sharer platter. I was stuffed so much food was there and I’m a big lad. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. Amazing!

We had an absolutely fantastic meal at this Greek restaurant! We ordered the vegetarian sharing platter and were blown away by how generous it was — so many delicious dishes, each one full of flavour and beautifully prepared. The Feast of the Titans sharing platter for the meat eaters was just as impressive and was completely devoured in no time. Amazing service from Despina who was very attentive and lovely. The cocktails were lovely, the wine was perfect, and the whole experience had such a welcoming, vibrant feel. Such a lovely place. Great food, great atmosphere, and lovely staff. We were served by Despina, and she was amazing! Went above and beyond. My partner casually mentioned that it was my Birthday and they came out with cake and sparklers and the whole restaurant sang to celebrate :).

Booked a table for 2 at 5pm on bank holiday Monday and arrived at 4.30pm but had no problem getting a table. The service was fast and friendly with helpful staff, the food was great, we ordered the £55 meat platter. Well recommended

Most amazing food i’ve eaten in bath!! the Halloumi bites were amazing omg!! and the waiter was so patient while we decided to have a couple starters for our mains! definitely recommend! 😊

Absolutely incredible food – we had the Feast Sharer, which was the perfect way to sample a wide range of dishes. Everything was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. A real treat for anyone who loves authentic Greek cuisine. The team were incredibly friendly and welcoming – you could tell they genuinely cared about creating a great experience. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is the 40-minute wait to order, which only moved along once I called someone over. That said, once things got going, service was great. Despite the slow start, I would definitely return – the food and atmosphere more than made up for it!
