Carter’s is one of my favorite spots to eat in Beacon. The chicken sandwich is flavorful, filling and reasonably priced. I ordered it twice without the baguette and the chef dresses up the plate to add to its appeal. My husband had the lobster ravioli and it was so delicious. The lobster was plentiful and fresh tasting and the tarragon cream sauce was perfect. John, the owner, is so gracious and accommodating. His care for his patrons and restaurant fills the room. I highly recommend! Plus, it is one of the few late night restaurants in Beacon.

My husband and I went out for dinner and drinks yesterday and everything was great! We were so pleasantly surprised by the friendly and fast service and the delicious food and drinks! We tried the meatballs which were tender and flavorful, the pierogi's that came with a delicious sauce, and the muscles that tasted super fresh! The espresso martini was the best I've ever had and the homemade apple pop tart was such a great finish to the evening!

Awesome and excellent all you can eat clam buffet today on Father's Day. Several different types of prepared clams along with bbq chicken, sausage and peppers, pulled pork, burgers, mac and cheese, steak…....and delicious cucumber water! All was top notch and Jon and his team gave top notch service !!! Also have been there many times for dinner and all the same applies!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😀😀😀😀😀

I had a birthday party here, and John was fantastic to work with. The food was incredible, my guest kept commenting on it. The staff were super friendly and so helpful. They were great. Honestly, it's the best place. I would definitely recommend having an event here and would do it again.

Food was amazing, fries were cooked just right and the eggplant sandwich was delicious. Not too fried/greasy. Service was great the waitress was extremely friendly. Prices vary; so some appetizers were as or just as expensive as main courses. But the value is worth.

Loved the food and feel of Carter's. The front bar/eating area had huge doors that were open to let the outside on. The back dining room and back out door patio was really a nice way to enjoy the beautiful evening.

As a business owner on Main Street in Beacon, I am careful about my reviews. But… I cannot say enough good things about Carters. But, here’s a start 1) The food is sooo flavorful with many healthy but delicious options. I was exhausted after 12+ hours on my feet, and when I walked in hungry & tired, John, the owner got me a seat at the bar and showed me his new menu. I ordered the salmon romanesco with house made fried potatoes. It was so incredibly delicious. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The lemonny, tomatey, red peppery, and secret spicy sauce was the perfect pairing with the salmon. Seriously a 10/10. Okay, #2 John is the quintessential host and his team is just as welcoming. # 3 EVERYONE IS WELCOMED at Carters. They are inclusive, kind and bring a special kind of joy to the restaurant #4 the music in front & the quiet out back. The setting is perfect for someone who wants a quiet place or a place to be entertained. #5, and of course the drinks. If you wanna feel home away from home but get a better meal then you can get at home, Carter’s is the place.

We enjoyed a delicious brunch at Carter’s. The meal was robust with flavor and the portion size was perfect. Friends raved about the pineapple Sangria. Service was awesome too. Definitely a must try brunch spot in Beacon.

Carter’s is our Cheers. The entire staff is always super friendly, accommodating and the food is superior. The Drinks, Forget About it! Excellent!!!! AThis is our Go-to Place on a weekend or when we have company. Always treating us like family - And isn’t that what you want in your neighborhood? We have not stayed at the hotel.

Great service! Kept my water full, constantly checked on us. Even with a large private party in the back, they were still very attentive to us. We stopped in for apps after the farmers market because we heard the meatballs were good, and they sure were! Also got the hot honey wings, crispy and hot.

Very welcoming from the start. The staff offered great appetizer options — I chose the seafood, which was fresh and flavorful. For the main course, I went with a pasta that was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is cozy, I always enjoy the music here, and the Negroni I ordered was the perfect way to start the meal. Highly recommended!

We had our networking group's holiday party there this past weekend, and they were incredibly accommodating and made the night so fun for all of us. We were in the back room, and it was beautifully decorated, there was plenty of space, and the food was delicious! We are beyond grateful for the amazing service Deanna provided us, and her patience was top-notch! Thank you for allowing us to host a special night.

I had a great experience here with my family during our visit to Beacon. We walked by and saw how yummy the food looked so we decided on this place for dinner. Drinks were great. Enjoy the deviled egg appetizer. The chicken caesar salad was amazing and I highly recommend for any caesar salad lover. Great and friendly service! Highly recommend

11/25 - I couldn’t help myself and returned to Carter’s for dinner again this past weekend. I had the stuffed mushrooms - shut the front door! They were out of this world. Carrot cake for dessert. The icing is to die for! Special shout out to my server Kevin who was fabulous. He’s the bartender there and I received top notch service! Can’t wait to return! Update: Returned to Carter’s this past weekend for dinner. Once again, had a fabulous experience! Was greeted warmly by Jon Lombardi and seated in the patio which I love! My waitress Dominique was nothing short of AMAZING! She was super attentive and gave me great recommendations! I had 2 glasses of the delicious Fall sangria, the blackened chicken salad and a combo of two of the desserts which were fabulous. I absolutely love this restaurant - the service, the ambiance, the food! I’ll definitely be back! —————————————————————————- Still full from lunch, I opted for just a Caesar salad (delish) and glass of cider (also delish). As luck would have it, I made room for dessert. Holy smokes - the carrot cake! Served with a side of two scoops of vanilla ice cream on a heaping pile of whipped cream. Shut the front door!!! Special thank you to Deidre my server who was amazing - Attentive, friendly and super efficient! I dined on the patio in the back which was super peaceful. Highly recommend! I’ll definitely be back!

The atmosphere of the place is amazing, especially with a live band playing. But it's truly the food you should come here for, I loved the steak (and the portion size – after a long hike, it was just what I needed). The staff were attentive and overall very nice. Definitely recommended!

This place is an absolute gem. Carter's hospitality game is second to none in Beacon. Their drink selection is vast & unique, and the food is dynamite. We had the meatballs and the crispy eggplant sandwich and everything was cooked perfectly with so much flavor! Don't miss this family owned establishment that really stands out as this amazing mix of down to earth fine dining. Thank you John and John Jr!

The place was very nice. They have seating In the front and back. Kid friendly. Had the salmon 9/10 delicious and the tried the chicken marsala 7/10, service 9/10. Would go back would recommend 😊

Food was very mid which was unexpected for a restaurant with this many good reviews. We ordered burgers and some pastas for our group and everything was just....meh. The burgers were all rare in the middle when we asked them to be cooked medium well. The pasta was mediocre at best. The price to quality ratio did not make it worth it at all.

The food was bland. It was sooo bad the drinks were not bad but. Avoid the food if you can the steak and pasta especially.

Band was amazing and drinks were great, but our server was weirdly judgy. Felt targeted and rushed, and she handed us the check before we even asked, which kept us from getting another drink and made us leave abruptly. I get you want to make your money, but calm down and let people enjoy their night.
