We went to our friend’s birthday dinner. At first, I wasn’t sure if I was going to the right direction, because it is in middle of nowhere!lol But the location was awesome! There was a bayou next to it where you can enjoying boating as well🩷 We were the large group but !everyone was treated super good. The waitress was on point with everyone and she was great. The food came out all good and no complaints there!

I came to the restaurant this evening mainly to visit a friend now working there. She attentively waited on me, and we caught up on some things over the last few months. She is an outstanding person and an asset to whoever employs her. The family has done an exceptional job with the new building since the hurricane blew away the old one. Whether you are there to dine, have a party, attend a sporting event, or listen to music, it is a great place to be. The menu has many delicious items. I had the land and sea gumbo. That's not what they call it, but it had the stuff from both! It was delicious! The drive seems longer than it is because you're driving out into the middle of nowhere, but it's definitely worth it. I look forward to revisiting my friend and enjoying the food and atmosphere of this nice restaurant.

Live band,indoor and outdoor seating. On the water . FYI if you get a clear solo cup with button on bottom DON'T push it all your beer will pour out. The kegs fill from bottom of glass. Food is excellent. Family friendly sports on tvs as well as fishing channel. 2 bars they also dance floor. Live band Thurs. Bingo

Love this place! Excellent bayou views with the occasional gator visitors. Seafood platter is my favorite. The red snapper and flounder dishes are great too. This place get packed on the weekends with live music and a lively bar.

Food was OK, drinks OK, pricing OK, what i loved was the atmosphere; sat outside and fed the gators ‘taters (and the turtles and the fish -no judgement pls - this is standard practice). fun games and live music on certain nights - fun for the whole family. would go back.

Friendly staff and patrons! Love the layout! There's an indoor and outdoor space with an upstairs area indoors. There's plenty of room for a band and a dance floor. There are stand-up heaters for colder days and umbrellas for those sunny days. Bar is located inside with tvs to watch a game or two, but it seems that there's a way to open the bar up for outdoor service as well. (Feel free to go on the water side and fees the fish with crushed crackers and hushpuppies!) The fried catfish bites were tender and flavorful. Loved the fish served over rice covered with a crab sauce (tender, juicy, and flavorful)! The sautéed shrimp with red peppers was sweet and not spicy as I had expected, but maybe I didn't read it on the menu properly. The shrimp was tender and juicy and served over rice. The cajun margarita was mainly lime juice and not worth buying. Beers are cold and enjoyable. (Drink menu available) The fried green tomatoes were good and cooked to perfection and topped with feta cheese and a sweet and spicy chili sauce. Classic burger was good with fries. I will return with my family in the future! (If a band is playing and you're sensitive to loud music, wear ear plugs or sit inside.)

Went here for date night, and we normally have a blast and enjoy the whole meal…AND will go again, but other than the excellent waitress we had and the Shrimp Kisses… the night fell a little flat for us, but like I said we will go again, because normally they are spot on.

Loved the location and the staff was great. Live music is always a plus and the guy playing was a one man show playing mostly 90's Texas country and outlaw country from them and before. He was pretty darn good. Food came out quick and was done but just didn't have any seasoning to it. I thought maybe it was just me but the wife had the same thoughts. Will likely be back to give it another try.

Honestly, the prices are way too high for the quality of food. Food is kinda bland, most seafood items are $20 and up. Fish tacos were actually good but I didn't get slaw like I was supposed to. The seafood gumbo was mediocre at best. The shrimp was mushy and it didn't have that nice, dark roux. Hush puppies were dry. All in all, I would not go here again. The vibe is nice but quality and price miss the mark for me.

Came out to the Pine Tree Lodge to celebrate the anniversary of some great friends. We had reservations for a group of 10 on a Sunday for 12:30 in the indoor section. When we arrived, it was so nice outdoors, we requested that we move outside. They promptly switched us and got us seated--fortunately there was plenty of space available since there was no band playing at that time. Mason, our server, was wonderful! He was so attentive and polite, and was quite the server--it wasn't his fault that there was no alligator available that day! (He hadn't been informed by the kitchen.) I had the shrimp kisses and lettuce wedge for my main meal. Bacon-wrapped shrimp with jalapeno slice were large and served with a tasty dip. Salad was super fresh--the best part of my meal! Hubby had the chicken fried steak, and he said it was very good. However, unfortunately, many others at our table, who had various fried foods, said that their food was not very well seasoned. The beer is served on tap from the bottom. When your cup is empty, you can remove the magnet and attempt to add it to their metal wall... not an easy task unless you have the proper aim. Save your leftover food to feed the alligators, turtles and fish that hang out in Taylor bayou.

The atmosphere is 5 ⭐️!! If you’re looking for a hole in the wall to get out and dance (county, zydeco and a little 80’s rock) and drink, then this is the spot for you! I will say it was not a mixed crowd when it comes to race. The water is right there which makes it super relaxing! Food definitely was not. The gator bites were good! Hot and fresh! Mozzarella sticks were nice and hot and both come out quickly. Entrees: Grilled chicken was like the ones you get frozen at Sam’s in the bag, mashed potatoes were boxed, red beans and rice definitely lacked a homemade touch! Food come out COLD. (2)Chicken fried steak dinners. One I didn’t get a picture of. The Mac n cheese you could tell the noodles were not salted while being boiled. The cheese was not even some good velveeta, more like powdered, even with adding salt it was gross. The potatoes on the other had brown gravy and was packaged. The fries were not seasoned or salted. Everything was brought out cold, to the touch. The gravy has a film on top it was so cold. Even cut into the meat was barely warm. I had shrimp with sausage and cheesy grits. The shrimp was okay, the part that wasn’t in the gravy, although it was cool. The gravy as you can see from the picture was congealed because of the temperature. The grits has no cheese. None. And there was not sausage. The menu does NOT describe the shrimp and grits to look like this, nor taste like it. 🤢 My daughter and husband enjoyed their salads. Hard to go wrong with that. The server did give us a discount when she asked how the food was because she saw we didn’t eat. I let her know the appetizers were excellent but the entrees were all too cold to give an honest opinion. We may come back if we want to take a long drive to just hang out. But we absolutely will not come back to eat dinner lol

My wife’s fish wasn’t cooked all the way. They were nice about and replaced it, but that was it. Food in general was okay, but way less than I expected. Place was super loud with music and people yelling at each other about the size of their trucks. I will not be going back.
