Tip: Taco Tuesday offers discounted tacos and margaritas, but the birria tacos may be disappointing. Nachos are highly recommended and large enough to share.

Best bar in Berkeley. The staff is also so so hot. There’s one bartender in particular with curly hair and piercing green eyes and a mustache — so charming and charismatic. I feel honored to be served by him. On second thought, Ella is the best, coolest, and hottest bartender at Raleigh’s. Not only that, but she’s funny and wise. If you need therapy, ask for Ella!
Great brewery with huge outdoor patio and corn hole. Large beer selection, friendly staff, and large food portions. Dog friendly!
Great outdoors area! Favourite bar in Berkeley central.
Reaching for my beer in a sauna of young college students I had a transcendent vision of myself; in a desert with death circling above seeking an unsold potable.. the last beer in this wasteland vestige some call Raleigh's Pube. The comedy unfurled. With a silken fever blush on my palette, l brush the walls red marking a bathroom out of order. One can cut the frustration with a knife. The fries were pretty good.
What a beautiful spot! The patio is so nice. Whoever built and designed this place is a genius...truly! The drink is okay! Not the best bar I have been. I ordered lavender lemonade with hard kumbucha and a cactus rose cider. Menu list is so creative, just need a balance and a lot of passion in it. That us all. A perfect place to hang out. It is almost like a hideout place which I love.
This is the best place to party in the Telegraph area! Before 10 pm, it's pretty chill and you can hang out on their massive patio around the fire pit. After that, it's bumping and it's standing room only. Both moods are fun. Can be hard to get the bartender's attention if there's a crowd though.
A great place to get a drink and sit in the patio and enjoy your meal. Seems like people cross over from Mezzo and eat there. The folks at Raleigh s don't seem to mind as they get drink biz. Update- the club sandwich was huge and delicious. Great to share.
Cool place! Why haven’t I been here before? Beer board is hella good. It’s legible and complete. Left to right it shows - brewery, specific beer name, style, abv, pour size, price! Perfect for beer nerds! Beer flights $8 for four 5 oz pours! Haven’t tried the food, but the 5 pm Taco Tuesday looks great.
Cool inviting atmosphere right at the entrance. Fresh contemporary decor with high ceilings and lots of seating spaces indoors and outdoors. We ordered chicken nachos and it came loaded with chicken and every ingredient possible on this dish. The dish was enough for 3-4 people when they’re very hungry! It’s a huge plate. Next door Mezzo that’s a sandwich shop is connected from the inside. Happy cooks make great food, especially when the servers are happy too. I love this place. It’s my first time here and I’m certainly coming back.
Great spot to stop in for some drinks and the social environment. Absolutely would visit again!
Great bar with good food and drinks selection. Definitely a great place to watch the game as well. The cauliflower wings are top notch.
Very nice bar. I didn’t realize how large it was until I wandered outside. The beer selection is great as well. It’s not all IPAs like most places these days. There is also 3 separate fireplaces if it’s cold out.
Good atmosphere and service. Kind people in the bar
Always my favorite place to meet up friends! The food is really good and I love almost every cocktail they serve. The only confusion is the Grapefruit Paloma looks different every time lol.
Can’t believe I only just found this place. As soon as you walk in the ambience is superb. The place is massive with loads of different indoor and outdoor areas. Food was on the top end of pub food but massive portions and the beer list was impressive for being in the middle of college town! Highly rated spot, oh and the staff are hella friendly.
Cute bar with large outdoor patio in the back. Good selection of draft beers and chill atmosphere. The happy hour beers are only a little cheaper than normal but at least if you come early it isn't very crowded.

Very yummy burgers and fries, taco Tuesday is goated. Must be 21+

Amazing food and staff, loved the bouncer and the man sitting in the front, so kind

I love this place but I’ve only been here once. I came with my daughter and four children. And the children are little… From 2 to 10. I like this place because it’s the only place in Berkeley where there’s room for the children. We sat and had our meal and the kiddos could play a few different games… The noise level was high enough so that the children’s noise didn’t matter, but not too loud. Of course we came right when they opened but still it was really nice.
This place is surprisingly great! Really beautiful interior. There is an indoor fire-pit, beautiful outdoor space. The drinks are good beer selection is good. My wife and I enjoy grabbing drinks here on our date nights when we are in downtown Berkeley. It has a lot of college kids because of where its located. Only issue I have is the bathrooms are not always as clean as they could be and the shuffleboard table is not maintained so the pucks definitely slant.
We LOVE this place! Great food and drink. Generous portions. Sports on TV if you are interested. Bocce and other games. A very beautiful courtyard with a stately palm tree and ancient bougainvillea. This place is a Berkeley treasure! It shares the patio with another great establishment, Mezzo.

Nice ambiance and good beer selection. Don’t order the Cheesesteak sandwich. The beef was impossible to chew and had to spit it out. Toughest meat I have ever had
Stopped by here with a friend after Axe throwing. It was almost midnight, but still a decent number of people here. I had a few drinks, and they were really good. Cute little spot. I'll definitely be back...especially for Taco Tuesday.
Vibrant atmosphere with plenty of dog-friendly seating! Cons: - Limited vegetarian main courses - “Tofu taco” was underwhelming—could use more seasoning Pros: - Hearty “Tex Mex Salad” packed with fresh, wholesome ingredients - Refreshing and inventive “Tamarind Cooler”
It's a little loud for me, but I'm sure it's perfect for the Berkley college kids. The food was good, and the bartender came over and took our groups order. Thank you!
A little short staffed as they strive thru Covid. Great selection of drink and flights. They got some good strong drinks. The spicy wings are great, along with the onion rings. The fried cauliflower is too wet/soggy for my liking. The basic nachos are looking sad these days.
Went here on taco tuesday. They had $6 margaritas and the prices for tacos were halved to $2.50 as opposed to the usual $4 (literally CRIMINAL! Jesus…). Subpar “birria tacos” with consomé that tasted literally of boiled potato water. Don’t get them. Asada was fine though a bit dry. But anyway! It’s not about the tacos. It’s about the vibe and the drink although I didn’t like my margarita either… my friend’s pink paloma was good though! I actually do recommend it. Just a quintessential Berkeley undergrad experience and I live for sentimental value.
I haven't eaten on Telegraph in a long time, so it was time to try something new (to me} . Raleigh's is much bigger on the inside than it looks, with a great open air space. Food was simple, quick, and quite tasty. Music was a bit loud, but not overwhelming. I will be back.
Nice open space. Reasonable prices too. You can order food from Mezzo there as well. Lots of beers. Decent ciders, and wines too. Staff was super friendly, if seriously over-extended.
Great college beer bar with a gorgeous back area. There’s usually plenty of space for larger groups, and they have a very expansive beer menu. The “share” foods are really good — my friends and I have tried the fries, onion rings, buffalo cauliflower, loaded nachos, and chips and guac; all of those were tasty with large portions. The burger was decent but forgettable, which is alright—I don’t think I would go to Raleigh’s for the food, but I would definitely go for a drink. It’s the perfect spot for a happy hour, and the staff is very friendly (I once accidentally left my bag there, and they had tucked it away with a note for me when I came back to get it the next day). It’s quintessential Berkeley, and always a winner with groups!

It's a college/game day spot. The back patio is a nice place to hang on on a sunny day. When it's rainy or cool, there's a fireplace inside. Food is nothing special, but the beer menu is extensive
I basically just come here to sit outside. They have a great patio and the inside of the bar is really nice too. Big tables, great spot to bring friends. Howecer: Food sucks, cocktails suck. Super basic and wouldn't recommend either. I've tried so many things off the menu- it tastes as though someone just couldn't be bothered. No flavoring, except occasionally powdered spice just dumped on top. But lots of people like plain food, so give it a shot if you want to see for yourself. They do give good portions! If it says spicy, it means "American spicy" (aka its not spicy) There's a great selection of beer though. If you're looking to hang out and just grab a drink, this is a good spot to go. Heads up, you may be waiting a long time. As someone else mentioned, the bar is set up awkwardly and it is hard to order. Last night it took forever for the folks behind the bar to actually notice us. They were chatting and laughing about something for a while but not really paying attention Will keep coming back and see if my opinion changes! :)
Good place for the afterwork but waiters and waitresses are not respectful of the customers. For example, sometimes they forget your order (without any excuses), sometimes the order is incomplete. And once, one of the waitresses just spilled ketchup on me without any excuses, she just left and never come back (no free stuff and no help to clean my shirt). The pub could be the best of Berkeley if employees were better. A shame. Ps : if you want to eat, I recommend their burgers (and their onions rigs but most of the time they "forget" them and you have classic french fries)
Great atmosphere inside and out but the biggest down side is their AV system, very chaotic and pretty dysfunctional. They do not prioritise Cal games and the staff has a real difficult time controlling the AV equipment. The owner needs to hire a professional AV company yet they have not and it makes going back not easy...
We always come here on Taco Tuesday. Their tacos are $2.50 instead of $4 but their fish taco is a little disappointing since there’s only one small piece. However, their nachos are super worth it. The portion size is huge and it is enough for two people. Drinks are pretty good as well, recommend their mango marg!

Visited on Saturday, 10/4/25 with some friends in town for UC Berkeley's Parents' Weekend. Was charged the absurd price of $13.00 plus tax for a single beer in a plastic cup.
No bacon inside the burger, waiting time over 45 minutes, very rude answer to our complains. No sodas, no bread... not a burger place.. not a place to come back. Thank you for ruining our night! Review: we did not get any dollars of discount and they told us to move inside at 9:55.. after 7 minutes we got the burgers
