They asked if I want fries or rice that I had never heard in a Mediterranean foods place but helped me choose an option. Then it came with a good salad, pita and humus. Usually by thr time I come home, humus is spilled every where. This time it was packed well and nothing spilled. Every thing was perfect.

Fantastic and pretty healthy food, fresh salads and delicious meats, cant go wrong with the combo meat platter!

I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a fantastic meal with excellent service in a beautiful setting.

I love this place. It was my first go to when i started working in Beverly hills again. For the price they give you a decent amount of food and that yellow sauce is so delicious.

I met Ben (one of the owners of California Pita) at his Brentwood location several years ago. The food is healthy, fresh, and delicious, The staff is very friendly. It truly is a great bargain. I keep coming back for more. Ben and his brother opened another location in Beverly Hills. Today was my first meal there. The Beverly Hills location is just as wonderful as the Brentwood location . I will keep coming back. Now I can eat like a King East or West of the 405 Fwy.

I ordered the meat combo - steak and lemon chicken and it came with fresh pita bread, hummus and cucumber tomatoe salad. You get a choice of rice or fries and I chose rice - very yummy! I also tried falafel here for the first time and got fries on the side as well. The falafel was good - crispy on the outside and green in the inside, and came with ample sauce. The fries were crispy and thick which I liked - if you’re more of a McDonald’s fries person you might not like the thick and crispy ness of these fries. Overall I enjoyed the ambience, the service, the food was really great and I would highly recommend coming here for Mediterranean food. It’s comparable to panini kabob grill — maybe a bit more upscale, and better than massis kabob!!

It is pricey compared to the quality. Too much oil. Food is salty. Taste was good overall. Staff was good too.

Ordered from the beverly hills location to be delivered. Got the Steak Pita wrap/sandwich. Its hilarious for $22 how few pieces of meat they put in the sandwich while at the same time overstuffing with lettuce and tomato. The quality of the food was certainly enjoyable but the portions and price are insulting at best. Would not order again.

Good Greek food but very bad SLOOOOOWWWW service.

It was great when it was managed by the old owner Ray. These guys cannot manage it like he did. The portions are a lot smaller and the staff is not very friendly.

Was overall pretty good until I found a long hair in my dolma. They weren't very remorseful about it.

It's really always very annoying. Every single time I go there, the service is AWFUL. (at checkout). And 5 out of 10 orders are wrong from the kitchen. Tonight again, I specifically asked to take out 2 items (allergic) and to add something else (paid extra) and guess what, when I got home, the 2 items were in there and the extra was not. Its just awful. I'm wasting my money with them and I will stop going there. I don't have money to throw away.

Prices are up 50% in 2 years, outpacing inflation by a significant amount. Lemon chicken sandwiches were $10 and plates 14 now they’re 15 and 20, respectively. Nice try

I placed a catering order on Sunday; one meat platter and one veggie platter. When I got back to my house I realized the pita bread that was supposed to be served with both platters was missing. Unfortunately, when I called to see if I could go back and pick it up, the employee had told me the pita bread "wasn't written on the ticket" and that's why it was not included in my order. He proceeded to say, "not to worry, if you come back we will have it ready for you" as if it was my fault to begin with (even though their own website states the platters come with pita--- how else are you supposed to eat tons of hummus?). When I drove back (thankfully it was close to my house), I never received a verbal apology or anything for the mishap. As someone who works in customer service, you should always try to apologize to guests when an error is made. I wasn't asking for any freebies but when someone spends as much as my family did on catering platters, I expected more. Also, the platters do not serve 5-7 people like it claims on their website. As much as I hate leaving a review like this when businesses are struggling, I have to be honest and recommend people go elsewhere, especially for catering.

Was waiting 30 minutes for a simple order.

I purchased a plate here for 6 months and the last couple of times they offered me a drinking cup - i took it for being a good customer. This time they told me it comes with the plate! The had been charging me for the plate and not giving me a cup for over 6 months!!! Ive been here 2 dozen times and only twice did they halfway offer me a drink that came with my purchase. Super lame California pita, super lame. Also lunch will take you minimum of 20 minutes to get
