We went tonight with a friend. The restaurant is in a great location, with easy parking, a nice little park in front, and close to the castle if you want to take a stroll afterward. The restaurant is really well-maintained and clean. We ate well; everything was tasty and easy to digest. The price was really fair. No complaints about the service, and 5 stars only for the owner, Paolo... A lovely person, an art lover, and truly pleasant.

We had dinner there on Sunday evening. Even though almost all the tables were occupied, we were served quickly and courteously. The food seemed very fresh and well-cooked. I think we'll definitely be back.

As a foreigner, it's 5 stars. Great staff, great food, and good prices. Lucky find after an expensive dinner mistake in Dijon, France where we were stuffed into an underground cavern while the square above was fully of life. I see that this place is full with local Italians every night. They must be doing something right.

Tip for Italy travelers : dont always eat at the otherwise excellent motorway establishments but spend 10 minutes extra leaving the motorway for a restaurant in a nearby village. This is how we found this wonderful restaurant a bit south of Milan. Service here was both very friendly, fast and efficient. The food was excellent at fantastic prices. I really enjoyed their grilled fish with the house white wine which was a lovely dry sparkling white wine. My partner had a lovely pizza made in their wood fired owen. This restaurant is strongly recommended and as all good Italian restaurants we were offered a small digestive before leaving.

Great pizza, quick and friendly service! Stayed in the city for one night and just wanted a good Italian pizza. Definitely got that! Ok the light could be a little more comfy but that's ok:)

Great food, both Pizzas and seafood. The staff are very friendly, service prompt, and the prices very affordable. My only complaint would be the lighting can be quite bright, but that is a very small complaint.

Pizza buona e digeribile. Cercavo una pizzeria mentre percorrevo l'autostrada e le recensioni positive mi hanno convinto a scegliere questa. Il personale è molto simpatico e professionale. Abbiano preso quattro pizze veloci, quattro bibite e caffè e siamo ripartiti. Vien voglia di provare i piatti di pesce. Locali nuovi, semplici e puliti. Il conto è stata la ciliegina sulla torta.

L'ambiente è limitato ed essenziale, non si è investito certo negli arredi, ma la pulizia non manca. Io ci ho mangiato la pizza e devo dire che, se piace bassa e ben cotta, è il posto giusto, anche se la farcitura non è abbondante. La gentilezza del personale è stata comunque gradita.

Buon ristorante con buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Presi due secondi - salmone e filetto al pepe verde - entrambi molto accattivanti al palato. Servizio buono senza tempi d'attesa eccessivi, con nota di merito per la simpatia del cameriere. Consigliato per una serata in compagnia.

I'm very happy to leave this review for Zio Baffo. It's a small restaurant with extremely friendly staff who treated us well, seated us and responded to our requests. Both the first and second courses were generous and absolutely delicious. Both meat and fish are delicious; for a quiet dinner outside the big city, this restaurant is worth a try. We're absolutely satisfied. Thank you!

A restaurant located between Pavia and Milan, excellent for a dinner with friends after a day out. We found ourselves at this restaurant and received a warm welcome from the very friendly and welcoming owner. The location is small, but the dishes are definitely plentiful! The quality is excellent, and we all went home feeling full. A restaurant we'll definitely be returning to. The only downside was the air conditioning leaking on a friend of ours; but as soon as we reported it, they took action to fix the problem. Kudos to the staff for their prompt response! Thanks for the wonderful meal! 😁

Good food, nice service, parking closeby. Could use a bit more vegetarian/vegan options but other than that really good for a nice lunch in Italy! Recommends it.

Pizza dough was backed dry, risotto with salsiccia and porcini was mediocre but the tagliata was absolutely a scandal. It's a shame because the service was friendly and nice.

The place is nice, but you go to a restaurant for the food... not the location. I had a grilled fish and found it really subpar. It was noted on the menu that it might contain frozen products, and that's not a problem. The problem is that the grill was dirty and the fish had the same burnt aftertaste. There were some mix-ups with the order. I had asked for my toddler's dish to arrive first, and it arrived after mine. I had asked for grilled zucchini, and they arrived fried. That said, my son's dish was generous. The penne pasta with tomato sauce was nothing special, and the fried zucchini was very greasy and tasteless. As a final note, the baby's high chair was dirty, and there's no changing table in the bathroom, so parents, plan accordingly. It's a shame because I didn't remember it like this; the food used to be better.
